The house was recently built ( finished in early 2021 ) and is situated off a quiet, private road and is awaiting your stay! This property is under new ownership as of October 2024. When you rent this property you will be able to walk out the back patio door and bask in the beauty of Saratoga lake only feet away! The property is wonderfully landscaped with an oversized bluestone patio (with a hot-tub, gas fire pit, dining table, and chaise lounges). The property boasts 70 feet of spacious level lakefront manicured lawn with beautiful flowers and picturesque scenery. We feature our 80-foot private dock ( in the summer) where you can fish, swim, or relax with your toes in the water while enjoying the magnificent view, Ice fishing is fun in the winter also! There is Kayak rentals on the lake to explore the nooks and crannies of Kayaderosseras Creek, the entrance of which is only a few hundred feet from our dock! We offer upon request the ability to bring your own boat and enjoy your days tubing, water skiing, or just relaxing out on the lake. In the mornings, enjoy the breathtaking views and peaceful sunrises (and perhaps even a visit from a blue heron) while eating breakfast in front of the wall-to-wall lake-view windows at our Amish-made rustic wooden dining table or out on our upper-level deck. My teenage daughter and I were jet lagged yet expected at dozens of family wedding events in Saratoga Springs, so the large, comfortable bed in a slightly dimmed bedroom was the perfect ambiance for daytime naps and a real treat every evening. The main space was huge and bright and the balcony an added joy. The bathroom was also great - spacious with good water pressure. We appreciated the added touches like big fluffy towels, filtered water already in the fridge, and our request for an early check-in approved. Great Wi-Fi too (I teach online and it worked well for my Zoom lessons) We wish we could’ve stayed longer. The farmland around us was beautiful and we really wanted to see more of the big furry farm cat. A beautiful place to stay ! (PS …even without a car. We used Ubers which were never more than 10min away.)"

You are renting an upstairs studio suite that has your own private entrance and bathroom, attached to a large house with sweeping views of Fish Creek/Saratoga Lake/wildlife reserve. This suite has a staircase you must walk up in order to access the balcony sliding door entrance, locked off from the main house, in a suite designed especially for vacation renters. - "I've spent days searching on Airbnb in the Lake George/Saratoga Springs for the "perfect" place I had in mind for my anniversary with my significant other, but nothing clicked with me. I searched the same area on Vrbo and am grateful to have found this gem. It was everything and more than what I had envisioned: close to nature, an outdoor porch, and a cozy place; having a view of the water was a major plus. Coming in with an electric vehicle, the EV charger was a nice amenity. The space was super clean upon entry. The decor was very ocean/marine themed which I captured my eye as an ocean lover. I appreciated the granola bars which we took on our hike, the instant oatmeal packs in the microwave which we had for breakfast, and the welcome beers in the fridge which we saved for our bonfire. The mini-kitchen has everything you need for a weekend stay (and a much needed wine opener in the drawer in case you forget like we did!)…in fact, this entire place has everything you need for a weekend stay. We were lucky enough to have nice weather to be able to use both the kayaks and the stand up paddleboard on the creek over the weekend. Lifejackets are available. It made for a super fun experience, even in the month of November.

AJ is the best host you could ask for. He’s super friendly, answered all of our questions, and gave amazing food recommendations in the area (Wasabi and Druther’s were amazing suggestions). He helped us out with the kayaks, and he also knows how to set up a great fire pit (I swear he can breathe fire). The only minuses were the TV was hard to use w/o enough explanation on-site. Also, not enough seating for more than 2 people to eat - just two stools at the small island. Parking in the garage was a real plus. Stewarts across the street is also a bonus. I would stay here again."

Extremely private one of a kind hand-built Post and Beam Cabin overlooking the Hudson River valley and the mountains of Vermont. Situated atop a beautiful rise on a 100 acre horse farm. Completely insulated and heated by an air tight woodstove. The cabin has NO electricity. My wife and I supply propane lanterns, propane and a 2 burner propane stove. Please bring your drinking water. We supply clean water for washing and a large cast iron Dutch oven for cooking over the fire on the outdoor fire pit. There is a clean, quaint outhouse next to the cabin, and an outdoor solar shower for use in warm weather. There is a kitchenette with a sink that you can pump water into by hand. For sanitary reasons we are now providing single use plates, cups and utensils. Please feel free to bring your own if you wish. If you plan on cooking over the fire please bring firewood. Don't be afraid of cold weather. Many travelers (as well as ourselves) have spent several nights there in Sub zero (f) weather. We would compare this to very comfortable and rustic indoor camping. The cabin has a 'full' bed and futon on the bottom floor. There are two twin beds in the loft. This is an experience you HAVE to try. EVERY traveler raves about their time spent here. If you need to unwind and spend some time relaxing off the power grid this is a must do. There is excellent cellular coverage from AT&T and Verizon. PS. there are outlets available in the barn to charge battery operated devices.

He was allowed to be picked up for the weekend, so we thought we would go to the horse races and wanted a place to stay nearby. It is off the beaten path, yet only a 5 minute drive to the race track and only a 10 minute drive to the downtown area where there are great restaurants. (Highly recommend the restaurant Scallions.) Emma was in communication with us the whole time. Unfortunately, the horse races got cancelled due to severe weather conditions. She reached out to let us know the races were cancelled before our stay. Any questions she had while we were there she responded to immediately. She was extremely flexible with check in and check out times. The house is filled with cultured decor, which she shared with me when I told her I loved some pieces she had. She really was very welcoming and accommodating! Definitely recommend this place to stay — especially if you are going into town for the races for the weekend."

The space
Our camp is situated atop a hill in a pasture with a beautiful view. Our animals may be grazing below you, and you will see mountains in the distance. Accommodations include a small cook stove, a picnic table, a queen size mattress. Available outside is a fire pit, Adirondack chairs, a battery run shower, a 5 gallon Coleman water cooler, and an outdoor toilet in its own tent.

Our home was built in the 1830's, and the apartment added in the 1950's. The apartment has a throwback feel.
We are an easy walk to restaurants, Flynn's funeral home, the school, and churches. We are minutes from the Washington County Fairgrounds. We are 1/2 an hour from the Saratoga race track, 45 minutes to Lake George, 10 minutes from Willard Mt, and an hour from great Vermont skiing!
We have a full kitchen, guests say our beds are super comfy, and we have hi-speed cable and Internet!

This "not so Tiny House" is perched above the Battenkill river and features a private downstairs master bedroom, a comfy living space, a small kitchen area with all of the essentials and a loft area all with regular plumbing and plenty of charm!

Come experience tiny house living in a peaceful setting! Grill on the deck, toast marshmallows in the firepit and explore all that the area has to offer!

The space
Our custom built Tiny House sits in a wooded area above the beautiful Battenkill River. Measuring 10 feet wide by 30 feet long the space is designed to be comfortable, cozy and convenient! The indoor space includes a private master bedroom, a sleeping loft, common living space, a small kitchen area and a bathroom.

The Master Bedroom: The downstairs master bedroom includes a queen size bed with custom made bedside tables and two touch lamps with USB ports on either side. A drawer beneath the bed holds additional linens and provides guests an extra space to store some of their belongings. The bedroom features a large window that looks toward the river with beautiful views. It is separated from the living space by a barn door for plenty of privacy.

The Living Space: Relax in the cozy and cute living space that includes a futon style couch for additional sleeping space, a custom built coffe table, flatscreen TV, warm lighting and plenty of charm. There is a small closet with coat hangers for guest to utlize. We are building a collection of games that are currently stored beneath the ladder to the loft.

The Loft: The small sleeping loft can be access via the ladder in the living space. Built for more adventerous sleepers, the loft includes a full size mattress, small night stands and lamps with USB ports on either side of the bed, a fan and a window with a view! The space is very small measuring 32 inches tall and slopes to 22 inches over a span of 10 feet. In case small, upstairs spaces are not for you, the loft can be used for additional storage.

The Kitchen: The small kitchen area is stocked with all of the basic essentials including a coffee maker as well as plenty of dishes, utensils and glassware. The cooking options include a two burner electric hot plate and a 3 and 1 microwave/air fryer/toaster oven. Plenty of pots and pans are included. A small under counter refrigerator and freezer is avaiable for all of your perishable items. There is counter space that can be extended for an additional work space or seating area to enjoy your culinary creations! Two stools are included.

The Bathroom: The private bath features a 36 inch by 36 inch shower, a sink and a regular flush toilet all connected to regular household plumbing! There is additional cabinet space, towel hooks and a full length mirror.

Outside Space: The outdoor space features a 16 foot by 8 foot deck. Guests may use the Weber spirit 2 gas grill on the deck or the near by park style charcoal grill for additional cooking options. Guest have access to their own private stone fire pit with four chairs just waiting to be enjoyed! Tiny house guests also have shared access to the Battenkill River.

Enjoy the privacy of the entire first-floor unit. While most of your stay will be private, please note that this is a two-family home, and there is an apartment upstairs. The driveway and outdoor space is shared, so you may encounter other guests during your visit.

Parking: One assigned parking spot is provided. The driveway is shared with the tenants of the upper unit, so please be mindful that only one parking spot is used.

Waterfront Access: There is no direct waterfront access from the house. However don’t miss Riverfront Park off Rock Street right down the street, a small yet vibrant spot beloved by locals for its charm, scenic views and offers access to the river for swimming and kayaking.

Water Safety: The house is situated between two dams. Water entry is strictly prohibited—no swimming, boating, or kayaking. Motorized boats are not allowed on the river.

Quiet Hours: Absolutely no loud music or parties. Quiet hours are strictly enforced. This is a residential home, so please be respectful of the space.

Enjoy the privacy of the entire 2nd floor unit. While most of your stay will be private, please note that this is a two-family home, and there is an apartment downstairs. The driveway and outdoor space are shared, so you may encounter other guests during your visit.

Parking: One assigned parking spot is provided. The driveway is shared with the tenants of the lower unit, so please be mindful that only one parking spot is used.

Waterfront Access: There is no direct waterfront access from the house. However don’t miss Riverfront Park off Rock Street right down the street, a small yet vibrant spot beloved by locals for its charm, scenic views and offers access to the river for swimming and kayaking.

Yard Access: There is no yard access for this unit. Guests have private space within the apartment and access to the upstairs deck.

Other things to note
Please note that this apartment is located on the second floor, and access requires navigating steep stairs. It is not accessibility-friendly. Once inside, there are no additional stairs.

Not suitable for Children Under 12: For safety reasons related to the location, we cannot accommodate children under 12.

No Extra Guests: Please ensure that the number of guests listed in your booking is accurate. Additional guests are not permitted.

Security: Cameras are located outside the premises for safety.

Noise: The lower unit is occupied by tenants, and you may hear everyday noises. The house is located next to a main street, so traffic noise during rush hours is possible. If you are sensitive to noise, this may not be the best fit for you.

Water Safety: The house is situated between two dams. Water entry is strictly prohibited—no swimming, boating, or kayaking. Motorized boats are not allowed on the river. Please note, while the property offers incredible river views, there is no direct water access at this location.

Quiet Hours: Absolutely no loud music or parties. Quiet hours are strictly enforced. This is a residential home, so please be respectful of the space.

Yard Space: This rental is a private apartment in a multi-family house. Guests have their own space within the apartment and access to the upstairs deck, but there is no yard access.

The space
This is a 16’ wide manufactured private home with a large attached screened in porch with beautiful views of the Hudson River. Cross the the quiet dirt road to enjoy your personal private beach on the river. You’ll have the use of four kayaks. That is if, weather and river conditions is permitting. You need to follow all of NYS Waterway Regulations with kayaking. You are Kayaking at your own risk. It’s recommended to bring your personal life vest for the perfect fit when Kayaking. You’ll have your own private fire pit to relax by or play a game of Corn hole. You’ll have free parking for 3 vehicles.

The property has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a fully equipped kitchen, a ramp to your relaxing screened in porch to enjoy the sounds of nature, a small private porch off the back door in the backyard. The home can easily accommodate 6 Guest comfortably. Everything is located on one level.

The master bedroom has a Queen size bed and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and a large walk in closet, the 2nd bedroom has two twin beds and a private closet, the 3rd bedroom has one Queen size bed which has an exiting door to the screened in porch and a private closet, the living room does have a pullout Queen size couch. (If needed), 2nd bathroom is a tub/shower.
The living room does have a TV with a DVD player so, bring your favorite movies. You also have a radio/cd player to listen to your favorite music.

You’ll have an acre of land to
truly relax and enjoy your vacation retreat.

Bring your bicycles to peddle the 4 mile scenic views of the Hudson River and enjoy.

Your host, Gail and Dave, do reside on the property next door if you need anything.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
- Do Not walk on the private dock next to your small beach area.

- Do Not throw food/bread into the Hudson River for ducks, geese, or birds.

- Kayaks are only available from May 15th to September 15th. The river conditions may prohibit the use of them during the spring, summer, or autumn.

- Remember, to bring your personal life jackets for the perfect fit as they’re needed for kayaking. The hostess does have a couple of adults “Universal Type 2 USCG Approved Life Jackets,” the orange ones hanging in the screened in porch. I personally recommend water shoes when you are playing on the Hudson River shoreline because of the occasional mussel shells.

- You’ll have one large wheelbarrow full of firewood for your stay.

The space
Although the house is old, it is well-loved and quite comfortable. All bedrooms are upstairs. Guests must pass through bedroom two to reach bedroom three. There is a Pack N Play available in Bedroom 2. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pots & pans and utensils. A toaster, microwave and coffee maker is available for your use. Smart TV in the living room, no cable. Enjoy the spacious front porch or BBQ in the backyard, it's just like home away from home.

This house is a century-old, two unit place. The house manager lives in the other unit, you will have your unit all to yourself. Please be considerate of the house manager by observing quiet time at night and respecting his personal space. The porch directly in front of your unit is for your use. The other tenant has his porch furniture directly in front of his unit and is for his use only.

One bedroom apartment - all the amenities attached to our home. Private entrance. Large backyard overlooking a river - campfire, grill, sit back and relax. Don't forget to enjoy our rustic boat house. In the winter we are a ten minute drive to Willard Mountain. A small local ski mountain with 12 trails and very affordable ticket prices.

The space
The bedroom has a queen size bed. The living room has a large couch, which according to Grandpa Dan (our most frequent guest), is one of the best sleeping spots in the place with the propane fireplace as your nightlight! Not a pull out couch..but long and wide - a great twin bed. All beds come with bedding (sheets, pillows, and comforters).

The kitchen is fully equipped (coffee maker, microwave, dishes, silverware, stove, full fridge, pots, pans, etc...). We have a grill, outdoor table and chairs. Chairs around the campfire.

The property is a shared backyard as we live in the main house. If we are home with our two young boys, we stay in the front yard and give you the privacy of the backyard - the gardens, fire pit, river, boathouse, kayaks...

The space
This small, but charming, lodging is located 30 minutes east of Saratoga Springs and 40 minutes northwest of Bennington, VT in the historic small town of Greenwich, NY.

The Barn has a fully stocked kitchen (no dishwasher!) Full bath with tub and washer and dryer, queen bedroom, twin bunkroom, and a sleeper sofa in the living space.

There is a gas fireplace and electric baseboard heat. Window air conditioners in the summer.

- Saratoga Springs - Come see the horse races (July - August) or enjoy Saratoga's many options for dining and shopping. Or check out the Roosevelt Spa for a day of pampering.
- Lake George - The southern part of the Adirondacks. Only 45 minutes north, there are boat tours, hiking, and historic forts to explore.
- Salem Art Works - outdoor sculpture garden in Salem
- Agriculture - there are lots of beautiful farms in the area and many farmstands to purchase local products. Ask us for recommendations if you are looking for anything in particular!

The space
Two bedroom, office and one bath, back apartment of a duplex which was once a single-family home. The front apartment is occupied by a monthly tenant. The front tenant maintains the grounds for both units. There is one car off-street parking in the driveway and easy additional parking on the opposite side of the street for additional vehicles.

Self-check-in using a code lock. Enter from the driveway onto a flagstone path to the main Airbnb entrance and into the "Green Room" a small foyer for shoes and coats as well as full-size washer and dryer and table for folding. Detergent supplied.

From the foyer enter into the main open living space with a couch, SmartTV on a rolling TV cart, dining table to seat 4, brand new remodeled kitchen with new appliances, granite counter-tops, and breakfast counter.

Screen alternatives! Games, books, art supplies, and a guitar are available for your downtime.

Up the stairs for access to the bathroom, main bedroom (Queen Bed) with brand new hybrid mattress and attached office (Chair, Desk, Printer, Wifi, Office supplies). There is room to stretch and a yoga mat and a bolster in the office for your use.

Also upstairs is the smaller bedroom with a small desk and twin day bed with a pop-up trundle. Please note: when the trundle is opened up, it takes up most of the room, but you can still access the bed and closets.

The apartment can sleep up to 4 people (any combination of adults and children + 1 baby or toddler. There is a portable crib (Pac n Play) with sheets and a blanket.

There is central forced air heat for winter and cooler months and 2 portable A/C units for warm days. The A/C units require some attention for use. One is located downstairs and one in the main bedroom. There are also desk fans and window fans. Each Bedroom has room-darkening shades or blinds. All windows have blinds and/or privacy film.

Your Airbnb includes private outdoor space — a lovely fenced area of the large backyard equipped with a dining table, chairs, cushions, umbrella, a lounge chair, and a grill.

The apartment is walking distance to the super cute downtown of Greenwich, New York in Washington County. Located just 15 miles from the Saratoga Race Track, Farewell Jackson is a trying facility for standardbred race horses. The living quarters is a historic barn that has been stylishly remodeled with all the amenities needed to escape the hustle and bustle of life. The name Farewell Jackson is a tribute to our Grandfather, who would dramatically lay down twenty dollar bills while saying Farewell Jackson.
