We’re a large, loving family who adores the Adirondacks—and we’re thrilled to share our second home with you! We are so proud of our house, this gorgeous part of the country, and the New York State official tourist agency recognizing us.

Our home is your perfect base camp for adventure and relaxation. Close to Lake George, Lake Placid, and Gore Mountain, you can explore as much as you want and come back to a cozy private retreat. Schroon Lake offers a gorgeous beach with clear lake water, and in the winter it freezes for ice fishing, ice skating at the town gazebo, and snowmobile tours right across the lake, great fishing, amazing hiking trails, and the Natural Stone Bridges and Caves just down the road. Did I mention there is an adorable 9-hole golf course in Schroon? Super close to the house, and it's gorgeous! In the winter, it doubles as a cool place to sled and take the kiddos! As travelers ourselves, we’ve done our best to create a rental that makes your stay as easy, carefree, and comfortable as possible.

Winter: Sleds for the kids and that cozy hot tub after a snowy day. Our house is located on the Adirondack Snowmobile trail, and you can ride your snowmobiles (or rent from C&C rentals in town) from our driveway right onto the trail for hundreds of miles!

New mini cabin: A charming hideaway with a full bed, twin mattress, heat, electricity, and a smart TV.

There are TV’s in every room and a nice game room. The porch was a great feature as we had a couple of days of rain but the porch allowed us to be outside regardless. The fire pit was a great place to relax in the evening with a fire and there was plenty of firewood. The hot tub was a great way to relax as well. The area around the house was quiet with plenty of nature…Schroon lake was a short drive away with small shops and a few restaurants. Also great for fishing a I caught a 3-pound large mouth bass. A very quaint and quiet town. This house is well located with easy access to the highway. Overall our whole family enjoyed the week we spent there and truly loved this outstanding home. The owner, Mary Jane, was always available when we had questions and was a great host! She made our stay even more enjoyable."

This is a newly renovated 2 bedroom1 bath ground floor rental with shared access to 50 feet of sandy beach on Schroon Lake. Short walk from house to beach. Driveway parking available for 2 vehicles. Within walking distance local restaurants and shopping. Although the property does not have a dock the local marina a short distance from the property. This property offers very relaxing and quiet getaway with beautiful views of Schroon Lake and mountains across the from the lake.

The Town of Schroon Lake is a few miles away with several restaurants, live music, weekly farmers market, craft fairs, coffee shop, bakery, biking, access to amazing hiking, and a 9 hole golf course right in town. The town offers an amazing public beach with life guards on duty and newly refurbished tennis courts. The local marina offers daily - weekly rentals. We are only 25 minutes to Lake George where you can shop, boat, parasail or take a cruise. We are also just about an hour to Lake Placid which offers visits to olympic sites, a bustling town or a visit to Whiteface mountain as well as many other ADK mountains for hiking.

- "This place is exactly as advertised. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you’ll need if you decide to cook. You do need to bring sheets and towels which wasn’t a big deal at all for us. We loved the house and the waterfront. We can’t wait to stay there again!" - "I really can't say enough good things about this property. The house was absolutely amazing and beautifully decorated. We had a group of 10 people ranging from age 10-73 and there was plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. There were lots of things provided to entertain us whether it was raining or the sun was shining. Indoors there was a pool table, ping pong table, foosball, shuffleboard and other various games. Outside we enjoyed using the kayaks, paddleboards and the kids favorite - the swim platform. We could hardly get them off of it:) The beach in front was very clean and perfect for building sandcastles. We also spent a few nights around the very nice firepit making s'mores. Sitting in the screened in porch was very comfortable and relaxing and perfect for listening to/watching the water. The only suggestion I can think of would be to add a bigger/deeper skillet for larger group meals. I did bring my own just in case and it made it much easier for cooking. Not a big deal, but just a suggestion. I also wanted to mention that the road to the property is very curvy, (which my husband loved), but if you suffer from car sickness like I do, don't forget to take some dramamine! Overall the property was definitely 5 stars! We made so many wonderful memories and will never forget this vacation. Thank you Jennifer for sharing your beautiful home with our family!"

This impeccably clean and large cabin will be love at first sight! The charming log cabin is over 1700sq feet and is everything you want in an Adirondack retreat.

You will enjoy a very large kitchen that is open to a spacious and inviting living room with vaulted ceiling and sky light and adjoining attached porch with a view of the front acre of the property. The upstairs bedrooms have two queen size beds each and the master a gorgeous new king size log bed.

All new gravel patio and fire pit is complete and allows for starry nights and stories by campfire and of course smores! Make sure you bring your guitar, uke, or harmonica! New for this summer a charcoal grill.

Grab your towels and beach gear and walk across the street to Schroon Lake Manor Campground, a small fee to walk to the lake through the campground OR take the free state park path entrance to the north side of the driveway. It’s secluded and like your own private beach! Either way you will enjoy the incredible lake! For $20 a day you can rent kayaks from the campground too!

Town is 5 minutes away with great shops, restaurants, grocery, big public beach, park and boat launch. Mt. Gore and Lake George are each 30 min. away. A 45 min. drive will bring you to Lake Placid.

- "My husband, kids and I had a great stay at this cozy little cabin. Nicole gave great directions to get there, the cabin has everything you need to cook, grill and relax. Beds were super comfy too. And the kids enjoyed ping pong matches nightly. Unfortunately, the rain in the area has flooded the hidden beach across the street at the cabin. The campground had a nice beach though, and the drive into Lake George Village was only about 25 minutes. Overall, a wonderful stay!"

The quaint village of Schroon Lake with great restaurants, shopping, a pristine public beach and boat launching area is a 5-minute drive from the cabin. This is the perfect spot to set up base and explore all that the Adirondacks have to offer.

The cabin is nestled on a hillside with panoramic views overlooking beautiful Schroon Lake. Enjoy the privacy of the 2-acre property and surrounding hiking trails right off of the property.

The cabin was built in 2017 and has modern amenities, yet still has the cozy feeling of an authentic Adirondack log cabin. The large deck on the main level looks out over Schroon Lake and the view is amazing! Here you will find a table and chairs with an umbrella and a propane grill. The living area on the first floor boasts a vaulted ceiling with lots of natural light from the many windows. The living area opens up to the kitchen and dining area so everyone can stay connected and enjoy their time together. The lake views from this area are so beautiful! The first floor has two bedrooms - one with two twin beds and the other with one queen bed. There is a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo on this level. Upstairs, you will find the loft area with a queen-size futon and a small TV with Roku for streaming & a DVD player - there are also board games, puzzles and DVDs. There is a catwalk off the loft that overlooks the first floor below and takes you out to the upper-level deck. This is the perfect place for your morning coffee overlooking the lake or gazing at the stars and constellations at night. On this level, you will find the third bedroom with a king bed, as well as the second bathroom with a corner shower. There is a full basement with game area (ping-pong, darts, air hockey, foosball, poker table), two comfy couches, a 65' TV with Roku for streaming, as well as a washer & dryer.

After a fun-filled day exploring the Adirondacks, come back to your private log cabin. Relax on one of the two decks overlooking the lake. Enjoy the evening roasting marshmallows at the lean-to with a firepit and log benches. Enjoy a movie or board game in the loft. About the town:

Schroon Lake is a year-round vacation paradise. The village is a 5-minute drive from the cabin and has restaurants, churches, antique shops, souvenir shops, and an original art-deco movie theater. There is also a Tops grocery store and a Stewart's convenience shop/gas station.

There are many activities nearby – hiking, mountain biking, golfing, tennis, swimming at the pristine beach, great fishing, biking, rafting, sailing and much more.

There are events for the whole family – an old-fashioned 4th of July parade, Adirondack Folk Festival, Arts and Crafts Fairs, Farmer's Market, Strawberry Festival, Square Dances, Boathouse Concerts, Plays and Operas. ***Important Notes***

*The driveway is gravel with a steep hill to reach the cabin. Sometimes the tires can spin on vehicles when fully loaded and driving slowly. The best solution is to maintain a brisk speed to the top. AWD/4WD vehicles are recommended.

*Linens (sheets/pillowcases) and bath towels will be provided. Please bring your own beach/lake towels.

*Please park boats, trailers, etc at the bottom of the hill on the right side across from the propane tank prior to going to top of hill where the cabin is. (Boats can be launched at the public dock in the village 5 minutes from the cabin.)

*The cabin comfortably sleeps 6 people in the 3 bedrooms. There is a futon in the loft area that will sleep an additional two people, but please note this is in a common area of the cabin and offers no privacy, storage, etc. 8 people (including children) is the absolute max allowed at the cabin due to space and septic tank capacity.

*There is a Blink doorbell camera on the deck facing the driveway that you will see when you come up the steps onto the deck. Please note that this is for property security purposes only and is not actively monitored/doorbell is not answered.

*Please ensure you leave by 10:30am on check-out day to allow our cleaning service to enter and begin preparing for our next guests. Please do not arrive prior to 4pm on check-in day.

*There is satellite internet/wifi; it can be slow at times or out of service because of weather; cellular service is great!

*Both TVs are set-up for streaming via Roku.

The cabin is well stocked, and is more modern than the usual upstate cabins. It’s clean inside and out, and comfortable. Modern appliances and good central air conditioning. Schroon Lake is one of our favorite places to visit and this is our favorite place to stay."

Schroon is a short ride away featuring fine dinning , Dollar store, and a supermarket. 2 Kayaks /2 canoes on property for use. Propane gas grill for great outdoor cookouts. Firepit for evening campfires is provided. I do supply some wood. Hiking trails are located just up the block in Adirondack Park. Other trails are located on the west side of Schroon Lake. Cabin is available for rental all year around. Gore Mountain ski center is approx. 35-40 minutes travel by car. Driveway is paved and snow removal is provided all winter. - "Wonderful memories" - "A lovely home to enjoy the Adirondacks....We hated to leave!" - "Drove up from Virginia for a family reunion at Schroon Lake and was looking for a large house to hold the family. This home did not disappoint! This beautiful, updated, well stocked, and clean log cabin was so nice to stay in. The views from the patio and through the large windows are spectacular. Just be aware that it is definitely on a hill and the driveway and walkways are quite steep. The dock is great and we were able to board a pontoon boat without issue, but there is no beach to swim off of. The host was easy to reach and responded quickly to all questions. We would stay here again!"

A new addition to our other two rentals. This one story, 3 bedroom, 2 bath ranch-style vacation home has plenty of room for family/friends. All the latest conveniences and a short walk to Schroon. It's around the corner from the golf course, NYS snowmobile trails, 25 minutes from Gore Mountain, 45 minutes from Whiteface Mountain and a short walk to the lake. The kitchen is fully equipped and a washer and dryer are available. There are three queen size beds and two full baths. A queen size pull out couch in the living room completes sleeping accommodations for eight.
