Relax and unwind in our fully furnished, log cabin home located in Schroon Lake. No, we are not located on the lake, but we are on 34 private acres adjoining state forest on 2 sides. We are only a short 5 min. ride to the free public beach and boat ramp. Golf course located just outside of town. This 4 season vacation home combines all of the excitement of the outdoors with the luxury of a modern cabin.

Schroon Lake is a beautiful scenic lake located in the Adirondack Mountains, and no more than a 30 minute car ride to the town of Lake George with its many restaurants and attractions. At approximately 9 miles long and one mile wide at the widest point, the lake is host to many aquatic past times that include water skiing, tubing, fishing, and ice fishing. Fish that reside here are lake trout, landlocked salmon, pike and small mouth bass.

In the winter, enjoy ice fishing, cross country skiing, snowboarding, snowmobile riding, and snowshoeing. Ski resorts are not far away! Lake Placid is located a scenic 45 minute car ride away, while Gore Mountain is just 30 minutes away. Hunting areas are located close by with many large tracts of public forests.

The Town of Schroon Lake includes pubs as well as restaurants, grocery store, and many shops to buy everything from souvenirs to fishing supplies. Two large porches to sit on and enjoy the birds singing and morning coffee or evening cocktail. The front porch has two traditional Cracker Barrel rockers and once child sized rocker. The side porch has a bench and a picnic table for dining outside.

Grab your towels and beach gear and walk across the street to Schroon Lake Manor Campground, a small fee to walk to the lake through the campground OR take the free state park path entrance to the north side of the driveway. It’s secluded and like your own private beach! Either way you will enjoy the incredible lake! For $20 a day you can rent kayaks from the campground too!

The cabin was built in 2017 and has modern amenities, yet still has the cozy feeling of an authentic Adirondack log cabin. The large deck on the main level looks out over Schroon Lake and the view is amazing! Here you will find a table and chairs with an umbrella and a propane grill. The living area on the first floor boasts a vaulted ceiling with lots of natural light from the many windows. The living area opens up to the kitchen and dining area so everyone can stay connected and enjoy their time together. The lake views from this area are so beautiful! The first floor has two bedrooms - one with two twin beds and the other with one queen bed. There is a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo on this level. Upstairs, you will find the loft area with a queen-size futon and a small TV with Roku for streaming & a DVD player - there are also board games, puzzles and DVDs. There is a catwalk off the loft that overlooks the first floor below and takes you out to the upper-level deck. This is the perfect place for your morning coffee overlooking the lake or gazing at the stars and constellations at night. On this level, you will find the third bedroom with a king bed, as well as the second bathroom with a corner shower. Schroon Lake is a year-round vacation paradise. The village is a 5-minute drive from the cabin and has restaurants, churches, antique shops, souvenir shops, and an original art-deco movie theater. There is also a Tops grocery store and a Stewart's convenience shop/gas station.

There are many activities nearby – hiking, mountain biking, golfing, tennis, swimming at the pristine beach, great fishing, biking, rafting, sailing and much more.

There are events for the whole family – an old-fashioned 4th of July parade, Adirondack Folk Festival, Arts and Crafts Fairs, Farmer's Market, Strawberry Festival, Square Dances, Boathouse Concerts, Plays and Operas. *The driveway is gravel with a steep hill to reach the cabin. Sometimes the tires can spin on vehicles when fully loaded and driving slowly. The best solution is to maintain a brisk speed to the top. AWD/4WD vehicles are recommended.

*Linens (sheets/pillowcases) and bath towels will be provided. Please bring your own beach/lake towels.

*Please park boats, trailers, etc at the bottom of the hill on the right side across from the propane tank prior to going to top of hill where the cabin is. (Boats can be launched at the public dock in the village 5 minutes from the cabin.)

*The cabin comfortably sleeps 6 people in the 3 bedrooms. There is a futon in the loft area that will sleep an additional two people, but please note this is in a common area of the cabin and offers no privacy, storage, etc. 8 people (including children) is the absolute max allowed at the cabin due to space and septic tank capacity.

*There is a Blink doorbell camera on the deck facing the driveway that you will see when you come up the steps onto the deck. Please note that this is for property security purposes only and is not actively monitored/doorbell is not answered.

*Please ensure you leave by 10:30am on check-out day to allow our cleaning service to enter and begin preparing for our next guests. Please do not arrive prior to 4pm on check-in day.

*There is satellite internet/wifi; it can be slow at times or out of service because of weather; cellular service is great!

*Both TVs are set-up for streaming via Roku.

The Cabin sits on 10 acres of wooded property to explore. Enjoy snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, or snowmobiling right from the Cabin. 1. Linens (sheets, pillowcases, towels) will not be provided Memorial Day through Labor Day. If you don't plan on bringing them, they are available for purchase locally.
2. Even though the Cabin has a private and remote feel, there is both excellent wifi and cell service throughout the property.
3. Please plan to arrive no earlier than 4:00pm and plan to leave by 11:00am on the day of departure.

This home did not disappoint! This beautiful, updated, well stocked, and clean log cabin was so nice to stay in. The views from the patio and through the large windows are spectacular. Just be aware that it is definitely on a hill and the driveway and walkways are quite steep. The dock is great and we were able to board a pontoon boat without issue, but there is no beach to swim off of. The host was easy to reach and responded quickly to all questions. We would stay here again!"

Lake Song Lodge sits on the hill above the lower house and offers a stunning view of the lake. Beach is shared with your hosts Brian and Maureen. Walk down the hill 200 feet to 87 feet of private lakefront and pure bliss. Please feel free to bring your boat as your own boat slip is included. If the lake level is high due to excessive rain, please feel free to use our mooring buoy. There are boat launches at the south and north end of the lake. Park your boat trailer onsite. Two kayaks and one canoe available for use as well. If you would like to rent a boat, please check out Schroon Lake Marina.

Lake Song Lodge is located 2 miles north of exit 27 on the west side of Schroon Lake. This location is convenient as restaurant Sticks and Stones is a 1/2 mile north in case you are in the mood for some wood fired pizza. The town of Schroon Lake is 2 miles north and has a grocery store, a pharmacy, a health center, a 1950's retro style movie theater as well as restaurants and shops. If you are looking for ice cream, there are several soft serve shops in the area as well as Stewart's, which is a regional classic, for hard serve ice cream.

Even though you will have your own beach to use, the town beach and town park overlooking Schroon Lake are absolutely beautiful. There is a gazebo in the park overlooking the lake that is a great place to take a family picture. The summer schedule is chock full of various free music performances in town. Check the SL Chamber of Commerce for schedule. If opera and musical theatre is your cup of tea, The Seagle Colony offers world class performances.

While a car is necessary to explore the entire area, our home is just a short distance from Main Street, offering abundant choices for your enjoyment.

The Lodge is under a half hour to Lake George, Bolton Landing, and Gore Mountain, and under an hour to Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain. In surrounding small towns, you will find other hidden gems. This area is a home for adventurers, and "relaxers" alike, offering many of your favorite winter and summer sports and activities. We love our furry friends and cannot imagine family trips without them! We welcome dogs to our home (2 max at a time) which would require refundable deposit after the cleaning crew concludes the home was left in original condition. We have a document outlining Pet Rules that will be sent via the messenger at the time of booking.

- "Great Place for your value!" - "We went up to Schroon Lake to view the solar eclipse and this was the perfect home for us to experience it! The house has two living areas. The second, while not necessary, was very cozy in the evenings to hang out and watch TV. The big kitchen was great for cooking meals together, and the master suite is beautiful. The hosts were extremely communicative prior to the stay, giving us much information about the surrounding area as well as events occurring while we would be there. One other highlight worth mentioning - we had a service dog with us, and the hosts bought brand new water/food bowls/mats for us for us to feed the dog."

The home is located on the Eastern side of Schroon Lake, allowing for sun exposure in the afternoon and gorgeous mountain views. Relax to the sound of splashing water, rustling trees, and fire crackling. A short drive from a general store and boat launch.

The space
The home is a log cabin done right! Original owners clearly put a lot of love into the building of the structure. All paneled wood walls, stone fire place and wood floors. Two levels of deck looking out directly onto Schroon Lake. Some stairs to get down to our beach area.

You will have access to the entire home, except the unfinished basement.
Other things to note
We are focused on making this home gradually become more and more sustainable. We have a geo-thermal heating and cooling system that creates zero waste and we provide composting and recycling. Money made is reinvested to making it a more eco-friendly home.

We are nestled in a quiet area of the lake. Some seasonal homes are nearby, but the community is peaceful and calm. The property is on 2 acres, with 100ft of waterfront. On the opposite side of the road we abut the Adirondack Park.

Within five minutes there is a seasonally open general store with basic needs, a small eatery, and ice cream! We are around 20 minutes to Schroon Lake village which has a larger grocery store, hardware story, etc. We are also close to the Lake George area (around 45min) which includes restaurants, shopping, outlets, water and kid activities. Gore Mountain is only 35 minutes away, and Whiteface mountain and the Lake Placid area is about an hour away. Great activities for winter, summer, fall, and spring! Every season has it's own highlights in this area. We wish we could be there all year long!
As mentioned, the property is next to Adirondack State Park so plenty of hiking, trails, and outdoor activities and can provide plenty of recommendations.

Welcome to K’s Cabin, our cozy log home nestled in the heart of Schroon Lake. Tucked between the towering pines of the Adirondacks, this secluded retreat offers an enchanting escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Less than a 15 min walk away, enjoy the crystal clear waters and mountain views of Schroon Lake, the town beach, and all of the restaurants and shops in the town center. Whether you're in search of relaxation, adventure or both, this peaceful getaway has it all!

Our cabin features 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths and can comfortably sleep 7 guests. The kitchen, dining area, living room, 2 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom are on the main level. Take the steps down to the lower level for an additional 800 sqft of living area including a 3rd bedroom, family room, recreation room, and 2nd full bathroom.

The master bedroom includes a queen sized bed, and the second bedroom includes a king sized bed. A Pack ‘n Play is located in the master bedroom closet, which guests may feel free to use for for the littles (Pack ‘n Play bedding should be brought with guests).

The inviting main living space is highlighted by large windows and lofty ceilings, evoking a feeling of living amongst the tree tops! Prepare a home-cooked meal in the fully-stocked kitchen, and get cozy with the cast iron gas stove or a warm jacuzzi bath. The 55" 4K smart TV is equipped with Roku and a sound bar to optimize your movie nights. For any work-from home needs, an LED monitor can be found in the second bedroom closet, and high speed Wi-Fi is available throughout. For some quality unplugged time, enjoy a selection of board games, located on the top shelf in the master bedroom closet.

The fully renovated in 2024 lower level features knotty pine finishes, a (2) twin bedroom, a family room with day bed and gas stove, a recreation area with futon, TV, and foosball table, and a full 2nd bathroom. Steps from the lower level lead up to the backyard.

Outside, experience the private, tree-lined back yard from the back deck, complete with lounge chairs, a picnic table, and a propane grill.

We're located on a quiet, family-oriented cul-de-sac street. We love our neighbors and ask that you please treat the community with kindness and respect during your stay!

Baby friendly: We have a Pack 'n Play available for our young guests.

Pet policy: We love your furry friends! If you plan to bring your pet, you must indicate this at booking. A $50 pet fee will apply for up to 2 pets. Pets must be house broken, and crated if left home alone. We also have a dog tie out in the yard. Guests are required to pick up and dispose of solid waste in our yard. A lot of our neighbors have dogs so we ask that dogs remain leashed when walking in the neighborhood.

Sales and Occupancy Taxes: As of March 2025, New York State has imposed a State and County Sales Tax in addition to the County Occupancy Tax which is reflected in the price and remitted directly by the booking platform.

Leaving the hustle and bustle of daily life behind and simply enjoying the private beach and stunning views from everywhere on the property is just wonderful. With over 110 feet of private sandy beach its one of the nicest lake front properties on Schroon Lake. During the day enjoy the water and swimming; in the evenings enjoy spending time around the firepit, take your morning coffee on the upper deck watching the sun come up over the lake and at night (if your lucky) enjoy the calls of the loons. There's no reason to leave once you've arrived, but if you want to do some exploring, the small town of Schroon Lake is only 2 miles up the road. Town has many wonderful shops, restaurants, and a grocery store. Hiking trails are all around and easily reached from the cabin..

This quaint, rustic, one room log cabin was originally built for overflow family during the summer by my father. The cedar logs were cut from our property giving it a truly authentic Adirondack feel. The cabin sleeps 1-3 people. It's located on a large, beautiful piece of property with two main houses, a barn and garage. You are within walking distance to our private swimming hole and beach. There is a horse arena nearby. This is a great location for many attractions in the Adirondacks.

The space
To help alleviate inquiries and to be very clear about our listing:

The cabin is a ONE room cabin. The bathroom is separated with a curtain. There is a kitchen sink.

There is a pullout couch for an extra guest if needed.

We provide a fire pit, chairs, picnic table, grill and firewood. The firewood is cut, split and stacked by my children. We ask you kindly leave a tip for their hard work.

We CANNOT at this time accept any animals on the property. We love dogs and own several, so in order to protect your animals and our own, we will not be accepting them.

The Northway DOES run near our property. It CAN be heard, but you CANNOT see it. The whole property is surrounded by woods. You will be left completely alone, however, if you're looking for complete isolation and quiet, this is probably not the property for you.

There is running hot water, electric, toilet, shower, refrigerator, kitchenette, microwave, and Keurig. Towels, flatware, dishes.

There is NO AC, and NO WiFi. There are some areas on the property that you may be able to pick up WiFi. If it’s important and you need to use it, let us know.

The bed is a queen bed with a memory foam pillow top mattress. There is no AC, but fans in each window for air flow. There is a fire pit with sitting chairs and an outside hose for cleaning uses and to put fire out.

The cabin is located on a big piece of property with 2 other houses, a garage and barn. You will NOT be completely secluded here, but still very much private. Please make sure you understand this before booking! You may see people, you will see horses, and you may see an occasional dirtbike heading into the woods.

We offer kayaks to our guests on a first come, first serve basis. As long as they are down there, you are welcome to use them.

The only space shared with anyone is our swimming hole. There are no life guards on duty, please swim at your own risk.

Bring your bathing suit and travel a short beaten path to our private swimming hole in Schroon River. There is access for kayaks, tubes or just lounging in the water. View the Schroon falls just at the end of the driveway or take trails to explore a brook and beautiful woods. We are a short 8 min drive into the town.

The cabin is located on a large piece of property with other buildings on it. There are 2 main houses as well as a garage with an apartment and two barns.
A horse arena is near the cabin where we occasionally give horseback riding lessons.
There are no main roads within sight, but interstate 87 does run behind the woods. You are still very private here.

There will be zero tolerance for partying on the property. If you are looking to party with lots of drinking, please look elsewhere for a rental. Any damage done to the rental, or surrounding property, the guest(s) will be responsible in restitutions.

While the swimming hole is privately owned, at times it is used by my family and possible other air bnb guests. This is the only space you may need to share with family and/or other guests. There is plenty of room to share and a floating dock during the hot season to jump off, no diving please! There are no life guards on duty. Please swim at your own risk.

You are more than welcome to kayak up the river, it's beautiful! We have several kayaks you may use on a first come, first serve basis. Please do not take the kayaks down the river but paddle up. There is a small water fall 500 feet from the beach, which would destroy the kayaks in the low water. Feel free to bring your own kayaks. If you bring your own equipment, you may put in after the falls for a nice ride down Schroon River.

While the horses are well-behaved, we do not offer riding lessons or trail rides at this time. Feel free to pet. Please do not feed.

We plan to leave our guests alone unless they want to visit or ask questions. We realize that people come to the ADKS to escape it all and in no way want to be overwhelming. We have worked very hard to make this rental VERY user friendly and we take our guests feedback very seriously.

This classic A frame cabin is just the thing for an Adirondack getaway. Rustic, cozy and charming, guests can enjoy nature at their doorstep along with the comforts of home and easy access to a wide variety of attractions and amenities.

The space
The Treehouse is perched in a towering hemlock forest on the edge of the Pharaoh Lake Wilderness. A spacious living area has plenty of seating for lounging, playing games and dining, and an expansive balcony is great for entertaining or quiet contemplation. The cabin features two cozy bedrooms -- one on the main floor with two twin beds, and a loft with a queen bed and futon. It's fully stocked with everything you'll need for your stay -- coffee, cookware, grill, charcoal, games, firepit, and the list goes on. Let us know if you need something specific.

Schroon Lake is also accessible by foot from the cabin. After a 5-minute walk through the woods, guests can spend the day on a small beach on public land featuring still, shallow waters - great for swimming, tubing or wading (water shoes are recommended).

The adjacent Pharaoh Lake Wilderness is a large tract of Forever Wild land featuring mountains with picturesque views and dozens of trails along an endless network of streams, marshes and ponds. Many trails and landmarks are easy to get to from the cabin, either by walking or quick drives to trailheads.

The Schroon Lake village and its numerous shops, restaurants and activities is 20 minutes away by car. The town features a 9-hole golf course, Art Deco-era movie theater, marina, local history museum, library, free summer concerts, town beach and playground, public docks, and the renowned Seagle Music Colony which hosts theater productions during the summer.

There are also plenty of opportunities for kayaking, canoeing and fishing in the area. In the fall, the Adirondack Marathon goes past the Treehouse.

Cell service is poor unless you have Verizon or AT&T. A cell phone will be provided if guests need to make basic calls or texts and their phones don’t work. The cabin is equipped with high-speed internet (wifi).

The driveway is fairly windy and steep, and can be tricky. We lined the driveway with reflecting poles to help.

Winter notes: The driveway is professionally maintained and plowed. You are responsible to shovel from the driveway to the front during storms.

Please move you vehicles when plowing begins to be ensure a competent job is done.
Consult the DEC website prior to walking on the lake ice. It can be dangerous even when it looks completely frozen.

Welcome to K’s Cabin, our cozy log home nestled in the heart of Schroon Lake. Tucked between the towering pines of the Adirondacks, this secluded retreat offers an enchanting escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Less than a 15 min walk away, enjoy the crystal clear waters and mountain views of Schroon Lake, the town beach, and all of the restaurants and shops in the town center. Whether you're in search of relaxation, adventure or both, this peaceful getaway has it all!

The space
Our cabin features 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths and can comfortably sleep 7 guests. The kitchen, dining area, living room, 2 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom are on the main level. Take the steps down to the lower level for an additional 800 sqft of living area including a 3rd bedroom, family room, recreation room, and 2nd full bathroom.

The master bedroom includes a queen sized bed, and the second bedroom includes a king sized bed. A Pack ‘n Play is located in the master bedroom closet, which guests may feel free to use for for the littles (Pack ‘n Play bedding should be brought with guests).

The inviting main living space is highlighted by large windows and lofty ceilings, evoking a feeling of living amongst the tree tops! Prepare a home-cooked meal in the fully-stocked kitchen, and get cozy with the cast iron gas stove or a warm jacuzzi bath. The 55" 4K smart TV is equipped with a Roku and sound bar to optimize your movie nights. For any work-from home needs, a LED monitor can be found in the second bedroom closet, and high speed Wi-Fi is available throughout. For some quality unplugged time, enjoy a selection of board games, located on the top shelf in the master bedroom closet.

The fully renovated in 2024 lower level features knotty pine finishes, a (2) twin bedroom, a family room with day bed and gas stove, a recreation area with futon, flat screen TV and a foosball table, and a full 2nd bathroom. Steps from the lower level lead up to the backyard.

Outside, experience the private, tree-lined back yard from the back deck, complete with lounge chairs, a picnic table, and a propane grill.

We're located on a quiet, family-oriented cul-de-sac street. We love our neighbors and ask that you please treat the community with kindness and respect during your stay!

Guests may enter through the front door, accessible via the staircase in front of the house leading to the upper level. A code will be provided prior to check in to be entered in the keypad on the door handle.

Pet policy: We love your furry friends! If you plan to bring your dog, you must indicate this at booking. A $50 pet fee will apply for the first pet, and an additional $25 for the second pet. Pets must be house broken, and crated if left home alone. We also have a dog tie out in the yard. Guests are required to pick up and dispose of solid waste in our yard. A lot of our neighbors have dogs so we ask that dogs remain leashed when walking in the neighborhood.

Sales and Occupancy Taxes: As of March 2025, New York State has imposed a State and County Sales Tax in addition to the County Occupancy Tax which is reflected in the price and remitted directly via Airbnb.

If you are looking for a truly unique outdoor living experience, this stunning home is the place to be. With its tree filtered, mountainous views on Schroon Lake, (screened) porch gatherings will be remembered forever. Easy stroll/drive to our quiet, child-friendly association beach. The space
The house is part of the beautiful, green, and very quiet ADK Pointe Association. It is important that you and your group will preserve the relaxing and quiet atmosphere of the Association. Our preference goes out to multi-families or smaller parties. Please do not consider renting this house if you are a large group of younger adults or adults looking to party.
The Association grounds were previously home to "Camp Idylwold". The house is built on a small hilltop within the Association with spacious, private surroundings. From the house there is a gorgeous, filtered top down view of Schroon Lake and the woodsy common areas of the Association grounds. The extra large screened in porch is unique, and when opening the double set of French doors in the living room, it feels like living outdoors 24/7. The house also has a wrap around wooden deck with shade and sun exposure at all times of the day. From the house one can either walk or drive to the beach area following the sandy Association road (speed limit 5mph). There is a portable restroom in the parking lot next to the beach area. On the beach you will find ADK chairs and wooden picnic tables that you are free to use. The beach and marina are very quiet and private, and ideal for child play, fishing, and swimming. Please note that there is no life guard on duty and that children 16 and under have to be supervised by an adults when at the beach/marina area. See the summary above for listing of boats that are included in rental. Use of any of these is at your own risk. We do provide a couple of life vests that you are free to use. The house is sparkling clean, laundry is done on premises, we have a local housekeeper, and there are no pets allowed on the property. There is an extra tv room in the lower level. Game, books, and some toys are available as well. The owners can provide you with lots of ideas about what to do in town or in the area depending on what you and your group are interested in. Schroon Lake has a lot to offer and so does the area.

Camp Steep Bay, located on the northeastern shore of Schroon Lake in the Adirondack Park, offers 800' of private lake frontage, a covered porch, a private dock & small beach for boating & swimming!

Only a 1 minute walk to the dock & beach!

It has 5 bedrooms & 2.5 baths and a dining table that seats 12.

Camp Steep Bay is only accessible by boat via a 5 minute ride from the Schroon Lake Marina & the town dock. If you bring your own boat, deduct $200/day.

Camp Steep Bay was designed by renowned Adirondack architect Michael Bird.

The great room and dining area on the first floor face the lake. Combined with a big kitchen, this provides a large area for people to be together, eat, drink, play boardgames and read.

Outside, guests can enjoy the covered porch, fire pit, hammock, canoe, 2 kayaks and the dock. Cell phone coverage is excellent.

If you rent on July 4th, you will be see the impressive Schroon Lake fireworks from your private dock or the pontoon boat included with the rental.
