Goldilocks cabin is a cozy retreat for a romantic getaway, and perfect for small families as well. The cabin is located on Stowe Hollow Road, a residential area of widely spaced lots, just 1 mile from Stowe village, eight miles to Mt. Mansfield and skiing, and just a few miles to the Pinnacle, one of the most spectacular hikes in Vermont. So, if you are looking for a secluded cabin in the woods, Goldilocks may not be your best choice, but if you want a charming and unique, conveniently located cabin, which is easily accessible in all weather conditions, Goldilocks is just right.

Goldilocks is well appointed with Black Forest and French antiques, and antler chandeliers--the perfect combination of rustic and luxury. The piping hot wood stove and the chiming cuckoo clock make this cabin a cozy retreat after a day of hiking or skiing. The large master bedroom has an antique four poster bed, complete with a sumptuous mattress, and a alcove with a desk. The sleeping loft (a favorite of older children) is accessed by a ladder and has a full size bed. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room, as well. The cabin has two decks a gas barbecue, and a fire pit. Goldilocks is pet-friendly. Well behaved, approved pets are always welcome.

The unit was fully furnished with items such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, and ample paper products. There were coffee pods and creamers as well. Salt and pepper were also included which helped when we prepared our own meals inside. The kitchen was furnished with a tea kettle, plates, bowls, silverware and coffee mugs. The Terraces unit sleeps 6 in two bedrooms (2 additional in living room) with two full baths, kitchenette, dining area, patio, and a 300 square foot living room. With 12-foot ceilings, knotty pine walls, stone fireplace, Vermont Castings wood stove, and big windows overlooking the forest, you find yourself in a lodge, not a condo.

- "Jim was a wonderful and gracious host. He greeted us on check-in and showed us around and was readily available to answer questions. Property was great and perfect sized for our family of 5. Loved the towel warmer in the master bath. Only thing I didn't realize is that the two apartments aren't side-by-side, but the upstairs apartments living room is over the master, which was hard on Dad who is a light sleeper when they walked around. Garage is standard 20x20 where the charger is so if you have a larger vehicle it might not fit in with door closed. We had to take the bike hitch off our Tesla Y. Otherwise great property and will likely be back. Great easily location. First 25 ft of road were a little intimidating, but rest of it was very well maintained. Thanks so much Jim!"
