I'm not sure what people are seeing for a nightly cost...I want to let you know it is $145.00 for up to 3 people...$10 per person per night after that...plus $20 per night for firewood payable on arrival. Don't forget we have the Flat Top grill. You can cook your eggs, bacon, pancakes for breakfast. Our yurt is candle and lantern friendly. We supply plenty of both. There is no electricity. This is the best yurt for relaxing in the woods with no one around and enjoying the coziness. We have plenty of trails right from the yurt also. We have gas flat top grill outside and a 2 burner propane cooktop inside. You may also enjoy our beautiful relaxing firepit outback. plenty of trails to walk. There is a $20.00 firewood fee. We also supply paper plates, paper towels, plastic ware, real knives, 1 gallon of drinking water inside plus 5 gallon clean water jug .... You pretty much only need to bring your food and something to keep it in.

Our yurt is handicap accessible yet out in the wilderness. It sleeps 5. We have a bunk bed, a full size futon and a brand new over sized twin cot. Just bring a sleeping bag for extra comfort for the cot if you want extra padding. All fresh bedding is included. There are games, coloring, books, Lincoln logs etc.. for the kiddos and adults as well. All that good ole fashioned fun. We include pots, pans, utensils, condiments, salt, pepper, etc... you really just need to bring your food and a cooler to keep it in.

We also know that people enjoy a cocktail every now and then. We have had some unfortunate times with guests who apparently overdid and ask that you respect the hard work that we have put into our Yurt property and if drinking, drink responsibly (: Thank you... One more thing we unfortunately have to ask... My husband works hard at keeping the awesome outhouse clean and smell free. We would GREATLY appreciate it if EVERYONE would walk those few steps to use the outhouse instead of urinating out the door or anywhere else besides the outhouse. It's unfortunate I have to mention these things but circumstances arise 😑🙄😳

Craig (the property owner) went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying our stay. The Cabin/Cottage felt like home the moment we stepped inside. Newly renovated with modern appliances (super quiet dish washer, washer & dryer), a very comfortable bed, plenty of all types of linens and all the utensils and household needs are there. The bathroom is a great size with a shower unit. The a/c unit was more than efficient. There are two ceiling fans that work great as well. Now the outside! The sandy beach where you can walk right into the water is about 15 feet from the the small porch where we had coffee every morning, sitting in the provided lounge chairs (that have clip-on table/cup holders). The lawn is a perfect place to play games or just relax. We could have brought our boat and docked right out-front of our place, we will next time! There was a glitch in the internet and it was handled quickly. His communication is excellent and timely. Craig came over to check-in and make sure we had everything we needed. We learned this is a family owned and operated business. They own the Winnisquam Country Store (also 5+stars try the breakfast sandwich!) and the Ice cream truck all within a minutes walk! The location was perfect for my teen children — they loved the kayaks, the small swimming area, and the location. They could walk to town for ice cream and have a little independence. - "We were in the area for a wedding, but decided to make it a long week. We stayed here for three nights. Love it. It was super cute. Loved the games, resting area, and bath house. My husband has family up there so well probably stay again." - "I only wished their were drapes on the windows (we had blinds) because the sun was SO bright both mornings at 5 am. We were the first in the unit since the renno and water wasn’t on when we arrived but the owner arrived in under 5 minutes to resolve. The rest was amazing and well thought - fire pits, grills and indoor arcade games and outdoor yard games - a nice short road behind the property for walking our dog. We met a few other people and really enjoyed our stay. The mini split to cool us off and tv in the room was a great way to relax at night. We were in the smallest unit - I might choose something bigger in the future but it was cozy and fit our needs for a long weekend."

Lake Access
You can see the lake access from your cabin just a short walk past the arcade, towards the steps and you will see our Lake Access sign, This access has a sandy bottom. If you are wanting a more traditional sandy beach we are within walking distance to the Alton Town Beach

Vacanza NH has complementary bicycles and kayaks for our guests to use on a first come first serve basis. We are within walking distance to most of Alton Bay attractions including the town beach (sandy beach) restaurants, ice cream, and the marina.

This cabin is perfect for vacations, & enjoying the all the lakes region has to offer, rent multiple cabins for the perfect group getaway.

We do allow pets, but please review our pet policy to ensure our cabins are the right fit.

Pet Policy:
We must be notified in advance that you will be bringing a pet(s), and weight of your pet(s).

-Pet must be fully trained and appropriately restrained by guest.

-All guests will be charged a one-time flat fee of $40.00 per pet per day or a flat $200 fee for weekly stays.

-Guest agrees to clean up animal waste of the pet(s) and agrees to accept full responsibility and liability for any damage, injury, or actions arising from or caused by pet(s).

-All pets must be in crates if left unattended, and cannot cause any disturbance, to ensure other guests are not inconvenienced .

-Pet(s) cannot be left alone for more than 3 hours. They cannot be tied up outside unattended, and must be on a leash when outside.

- "Everything was great!" - "Great room, great facilities, beautiful view and nice walk to town" - "We had such a fun time at Vacanza Cabins and so did our dogs! The cabin was super cute, cozy and clean, and there were so many unexpected amenities that put the cherry on top of our stay. The outdoor space was a highlight and so great for relaxing by the fire and playing games. We also loved having coffee and dinner on our balcony overlooking the lake. The staff member tending to the grounds was very kind and accommodating, and anytime we reached out to the team via email, they were quick to respond and extremely helpful. For reasonable the price we paid, we were so impressed and will most definitely be back next year!"

- "Loved the area we stayed at. Cabin was clean. Wifi included. Nice shower located by cabins. Coffee bar was nice to have. Mattresses could use an upgrade for sleeping a couple nites. Sitting area with fire pit great to hang out . Will have to come back next year!" - "Beautiful family and dog friendly spot located across from a stunning lake. Not only was this entire property clean, well maintained it was family friendly and dog friendly. There is a free arcade, that the whole family enjoyed and free coffee 24 hours. There were also two fire pits, corn hole, and a small mini golf setup. All this walking distance from Alton Bay restaurants, ice cream and lake access. We had a wonderful time and the owners were very responsive regarding any questions."

Traditional NH lakefront summer cabin. Private setting. 25 foot dock is shared with cottage on property. No wake zone. Kitchen stocked with dishes and pans, stove and full size refrigerator. 2 bedroom, one with 2 full beds, and one with one full bed. Captains stairs to loft with 2 twin beds. Please provide your own sheets and towels. Warm wool blankets and fans are in each bedroom. Outside there is picnic area and propane grill.
