I'm not sure what people are seeing for a nightly cost...I want to let you know it is $145.00 for up to 3 people...$10 per person per night after that...plus $20 per night for firewood payable on arrival. Don't forget we have the Flat Top grill. You can cook your eggs, bacon, pancakes for breakfast. Only things you need to bring are towels and soap for the awesome full hot/cold shower (warm weather only), your food and something to keep it in. Please don't hesitate with any questions... Our yurt is candle and lantern friendly. We supply plenty of both. There is no electricity. This is the best yurt for relaxing in the woods with no one around and enjoying the coziness. We have plenty of trails right from the yurt also. We have gas flat top grill outside and a 2 burner propane cooktop inside. You may also enjoy our beautiful relaxing firepit outback. plenty of trails to walk. There is a $20.00 firewood fee. We also supply paper plates, paper towels, plastic ware, real knives, 1 gallon of drinking water inside plus 5 gallon clean water jug .... You pretty much only need to bring your food and something to keep it in.

Our yurt is handicap accessible yet out in the wilderness. It sleeps 5. We have a bunk bed, a full size futon and a brand new over sized twin cot. Just bring a sleeping bag for extra comfort for the cot if you want extra padding. All fresh bedding is included. There are games, coloring, books, Lincoln logs etc.. for the kiddos and adults as well. All that good ole fashioned fun. We include pots, pans, utensils, condiments, salt, pepper, etc... you really just need to bring your food and a cooler to keep it in.

We also know that people enjoy a cocktail every now and then. We have had some unfortunate times with guests who apparently overdid and ask that you respect the hard work that we have put into our Yurt property and if drinking, drink responsibly (: Thank you... One more thing we unfortunately have to ask... My husband works hard at keeping the awesome outhouse clean and smell free. We would GREATLY appreciate it if EVERYONE would walk those few steps to use the outhouse instead of urinating out the door or anywhere else besides the outhouse. It's unfortunate I have to mention these things but circumstances arise 😑🙄😳

Craig (the property owner) went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying our stay. The Cabin/Cottage felt like home the moment we stepped inside. Newly renovated with modern appliances (super quiet dish washer, washer & dryer), a very comfortable bed, plenty of all types of linens and all the utensils and household needs are there. The bathroom is a great size with a shower unit. The a/c unit was more than efficient. There are two ceiling fans that work great as well. Now the outside! The sandy beach where you can walk right into the water is about 15 feet from the the small porch where we had coffee every morning, sitting in the provided lounge chairs (that have clip-on table/cup holders). The lawn is a perfect place to play games or just relax. We could have brought our boat and docked right out-front of our place, we will next time! There was a glitch in the internet and it was handled quickly. His communication is excellent and timely. Craig came over to check-in and make sure we had everything we needed. We learned this is a family owned and operated business. They own the Winnisquam Country Store (also 5+stars try the breakfast sandwich!) and the Ice cream truck all within a minutes walk! - "Clean cozy cabin that was perfect layover for the night. Our dog loved the fire pits and the view from the deck was very nice!" - "My 8-year-old son and I stayed in one of the small cabins, was perfect for our weekend. The location was perfect for my teen children — they loved the kayaks, the small swimming area, and the location. They could walk to town for ice cream and have a little independence. - "We were in the area for a wedding, but decided to make it a long week. We stayed here for three nights. Love it. It was super cute. Loved the games, resting area, and bath house. My husband has family up there so well probably stay again." - "I only wished their were drapes on the windows (we had blinds) because the sun was SO bright both mornings at 5 am. We were the first in the unit since the renno and water wasn’t on when we arrived but the owner arrived in under 5 minutes to resolve. The rest was amazing and well thought - fire pits, grills and indoor arcade games and outdoor yard games - a nice short road behind the property for walking our dog. We met a few other people and really enjoyed our stay. The mini split to cool us off and tv in the room was a great way to relax at night. We were in the smallest unit - I might choose something bigger in the future but it was cozy and fit our needs for a long weekend."

- "Everything was great!" - "Great room, great facilities, beautiful view and nice walk to town" - "We had such a fun time at Vacanza Cabins and so did our dogs! The cabin was super cute, cozy and clean, and there were so many unexpected amenities that put the cherry on top of our stay. The outdoor space was a highlight and so great for relaxing by the fire and playing games. We also loved having coffee and dinner on our balcony overlooking the lake. The staff member tending to the grounds was very kind and accommodating, and anytime we reached out to the team via email, they were quick to respond and extremely helpful. For reasonable the price we paid, we were so impressed and will most definitely be back next year!"

- "Loved the area we stayed at. Cabin was clean. Wifi included. Nice shower located by cabins. Coffee bar was nice to have. Mattresses could use an upgrade for sleeping a couple nites. Sitting area with fire pit great to hang out . Will have to come back next year!" - "Beautiful family and dog friendly spot located across from a stunning lake. Not only was this entire property clean, well maintained it was family friendly and dog friendly. There is a free arcade, that the whole family enjoyed and free coffee 24 hours. There were also two fire pits, corn hole, and a small mini golf setup. All this walking distance from Alton Bay restaurants, ice cream and lake access. We had a wonderful time and the owners were very responsive regarding any questions."

- "The cabin had everything you could need for a perfect trip to the lake. There are even kayaks and bikes available to be able to experience and explore the surrounding area. We traveled with our boat as well and there is a lovely marina right down the road in West Alton that offered day by day parking and boat ramp usage if you wanted to avoid the wait at the public dock (which is within walking distance to the property). The grounds are very well maintained with an adorable arcade for the kids, multiple fire pits and grills available for use as well as a little coffee bar! Multiple separate cabins available if you have a larger group and wish to stay together (without staying together). We were very comfortable during our stay here and really enjoyed all the property has to offer!"

- "The location should not be better. A lot of Restaurants are close by. Beach is ten minutes walking by 6 years old." - "Rented for 6 adults as advertised on website. Room was advertised for 6 adults and sign up for preferred parking cause have a big truck and another vehicle. Room way to small for 6 adults maybe 4 and still pushing it. No preferred parking parking space to small for my truck but put other vehicle there and paid for extra parking spot. Left came back that night no spot avail in parking lot had to park 1/4 mile down on strip over night. When we came back from visiting family that night around 10 pm room was hot a/c not working properly was sitting on deck talking just talking no music cause way to crowded and hot to b inside we were told quiet time at 1100. Place may b fine for adults staying with small children that go to bed early but for all adults not wanting to b in bed by 1000 on the weekend would not suggest. Spoke w owner we left after day 2 and luckily for another place for the rest of short vaca and had a great time and informed them and we all agreed to cancel future week I was booked for there not the right place. We left without any issues left place cleaner than when we got it and owner still felt she wanted police there which is her right just to supervise which was fine w us just unnessacary cause totally argumentive person and never in the office even for check in."

- "We had a fantastic view of the lake, an easy walk to the boardwalk and night life. Our only real complaint waa that the shower was horrible. " - "We stayed in one side of a Cabin, it smelled like mothballs. The bathroom was tiny and dingy. We could hear everything the people in the other half of the cabin said. The bed was very uncomfortable. The television had no cable, provided Prime, however the Internet did not work, therefore the TV did not work. We had no WiFi at all. We were hoping to watch a little of the Olympic Games, but that was not to be. We left 2 days early, would never stay there again. The property manager was very nice and embarrassed by the issues, surely not her fault."

The cabin is a comfortable size with all of the amenities to make your stay comfortable. Including a 3/4 bathroom, and well sized kitchenette. Oh and of course the Hot Tub right outside your door.

The cabin is about 30 minutes from mountains and lakes for all of you outdoor recreation wants. Also only minutes to dining and shopping.

Located atop a ravine, centered on a 24 acre estate, in rural NH, this spot is a cozy retreat in nature with a few present day necessities. Our Cabin is a unique A-frame/Salt box combo that we call the “G-Frame” (designed and built by us). The interior space is open and airy. There are a few large windows allowing nature to be part of your experience indoors. In the cooler months bring firewood for the woodstove and sauna.Plenty of land for outdoor activities.

The space
Built in 2019, this cabin is 196 square ft, with a loft bed, kitchenette, dining table, loveseat, wood stove and Nature's Head Compost Toilet (indoors!). This is off the grid yet is solar powered with 4 electrical outlets (including USB ports). There is a downloadable app that will keep track of power usage, and we ask that guests use it responsibly without draining the battery.

The Loft has a step ladder, a medium plush king sized memory foam mattress with bedding and views through the pyramid window. There is a small over head window in the loft as well, for crisp air and sounds of nature.

There is a one burner Coleman butane stove for one pot meals and such, a few plates, utensils, French press (4 coffee), cups, tea box, small + medium pots, very small cast iron pan, a couple of Tea mugs etc. The ceramic sink in the kitchenette is for hand washing and other small items. We will provide two 5 gallon BPA free jugs (which we can refill when possible).

The bathroom is the only private room in the cabin, with space to change clothes and what have you. There is a wonderful composting commode (with specific care instructions), and a vintage medicine cabinet.

There are 2 wireless rechargeable lanterns (one in the bathroom and one on the kitchenette shelf) that are moveable, and fairy lights that line a few ceiling walls (with remote and settings). The window for the woodstove provides some firelight...please do some fire starting/woodstove research if you’ve never used one.

The Barrel Sauna is a small 6’x6’ wood burning sauna. There is a small black door to the woodstove at the exterior back of the sauna, to build the fire in. In the winter, it’s invigorating to jump in the snow once you’re hot, or to rinse with cold water. There are a few small drainage holes in the sauna for water... (please no soap shampoo/conditioner rinsing inside though). We recommend bringing body wipes for before and after sauna.

Inside the cabin, there is some photography and artwork made by us, as well as other pieces that we've collected from all over. There are a few art books and Mags. SCRABBLE etc... It is our hope that we are sharing a space conducive for respite, connection to nature, each other, or to one’s own peace passion and creativity....

Guest access
Guests will have access to 20 acres of land, which is great for nature walks, snowshoeing and cross country skiing (in the winter months). Guests are welcome to explore but are requested to respect the privacy of the Glampers in the first field and the residents in the main house, which are both approx 1000ft from the cabin.

It is important that guests stay on this property. If you’ve crossed a stone wall then you are trespassing on our neighbors land.

Other things to note
If you have things that need refrigeration please bring a cooler (we don’t have a fridge as space is limited and it uses too much power).

There isn’t a shower or hot water.

For cold winter months we recommend 2 bundles of dry slow burning wood per day. We have fire starters but a few pieces of kindling is helpful bring. If you plan to use the sauna we suggest another bundle for that! In these cold winter months you can load that Woodstove up to get it very hot. A few pieces of wood won’t be enough.

Guests will park at the main house and cart necessities to the cabin by foot.

Spruce Camp is part of the Grey Shingles Camps property, a cottage colony since the 1940's. After extensive renovations, guests enjoy this historic property with a modern sensibility! The property consists of five acres of open lawn, woodland, an orchard, and a private waterfront with sandy beach and docks on pristine Rust Pond. Amenities include kayaks, paddle boards, pickleball, lawn games, and a kids play area. Our 1920's Rec Hall has a full kitchen, cable TV, pingpong, and much more.

The space
Spruce Camp is one of five camps here, and sits adjacent to the Grey Shingles Camps Rec Hall and the Pickleball Court. It sleeps up to 4 adults or a family of 5 in 325 SF of living space and a 125 SF loft.

There is a private bedroom with a queen bed and closet. The living room has a queen memory foam sofa bed. A loft is accessed from the living room and has two twin beds for children. There is a dining area, bathroom with a full tub/shower combo, and the kitchen has a refrigerator, microwave, Keurig, toaster, and skillet. Spruce camp has both a front and rear entry with decks and garden seating. It is themed MCM, and incorporates some refurbished furniture from the original camp!

The Grey Shingles Camps property consists of five acres with many amenities for our guests. These include the facilities of our Rec Hall, field and court games, and our waterfront with kayaks, SUP's, canoes, and sailboat. There are no additional charges for use of our amenities. Local dining, hiking, and shopping in Wolfeboro round out the fun!

Other things to note
The Rec Hall at Grey Shingles Camps provides a lovely gathering place for the guests in our five cottages. Adjoining the kitchen and living room is our custom raw edge dining table with seating for four. Sit back and relax in our cozy living room area with TV, access to your favorite channels with streaming and cable TV.

Step outside onto our expansive wrap around deck with a beautiful yard, surrounded by woods and trails to explore. On one side of the deck is a lounge area with seating, a hot tub and grill. On the other side is a covered deck with a long table in case dining al fresco is on your agenda.

Welcome to our lovely 850sf lakefront cottage on pristine Rust Pond in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire! This vintage waterfront cottage is truly something special. While there is nothing fancy here but the internet, it is truly loved, well cared for and maintained and has all your basic needs so that you can just come, enjoy and relax. Harold's Camp, built by Harold himself in the early 1900's literally sitting 10 feet from waters edge making the term lakeside living accurate. Outdoors you will find a front patio, cozy side yard with a hammock nestled in the pine trees, a Breeo fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs, gas grille, picnic table, large deep water boat dock that is all yours during your stay and a great set of stairs right into the lake for easy swimming/kayaking right off the shore. There are also kayaks on site for you to enjoy. Inside you will find an open concept living/dining/kitchen space as well as an amazing screen porch giving you several options for dining and sitting. The home has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and tv and the second with two twins beds. All bed linens are provided. There is also a renovated 3/4 bath with a stand up shower. Bath towels are provided . There is a large driveway if you plan to bring a boat with a trailer for easy parking and the home is located on a great paved road awesome for walking/bicycling.

There is a tv in the main living room and in the queen bedroom both with basic cable and TVO so you can log into your Netflix account and internet available as well. Please note that this is a seasonal vintage cottage with no true central heating system. There is a really lovely propane fireplace insert that runs off a thermostat to take the chill out of the cold nights or if you want a little ambiance or romance you are good to go. This sweet cottage on Rattlesnake Island is full of charm & outdoor space. Wi-fi throughout. From outdoor dining to a firepit by the water, there are many spots to relax + watch the world go by. Our Rattlesnake Island home is an oasis away from the hustle of the mainland yet convenient to so much adventure. If spending a week exploring on your boat at the Lake is your idea of a dream come true, then our place is perfect for you. The main part of the cottage is one big room for the kitchen, dining and living area, with a wall of windows looking out onto the lake. There are two bedrooms and one loft; one bedroom is in the main house, and one bedroom is set out almost over the water! In the main cottage is where the sleeping loft area is located and is generally well suited for anyone willing to climb the ladder to the loft but more often the best place for younger guests.

There are 49 steps from the dock to the upper cabin living space. The view from the deck area makes those stairs worth it!

For those who don’t own their own boat, boat rentals are available at Irwin Marina in Alton, Fayes Marina in Gilford, or Goodhue Boat in Wolfeboro.

There is a gravel area perfect for swimming near the dock that you access via a ladder from the dock. There is a swim platform shared with the next door cottage (we own both properties). For evenings, a large fire pit area is just above water level. Lastly, there is access to the island’s many hiking trails just behind the cottage.
ONE well behaved dog is allowed. Extra fees will be assessed for those not adhering or for excessive barking complaints

The space
During your stay, you’ll have the entire house to yourself—perfect for a relaxing getaway!

The main floor features a full kitchen, open living and dining area, two bedrooms (each with a queen bed and cable TV), one full bathroom, and one half bath. Step out onto the full deck with a BBQ grill, just off the enclosed porch—great for outdoor dining.

The lower level includes another bedroom, a full bathroom with washer and dryer, a second living area with cable TV, and French doors leading to a patio.

The driveway accommodates up to 5 cars (please note: no street parking).

Central A/C runs throughout both floors to keep you comfortable.

Guest access
Guests have access to three deeded right-of-way beaches, perfect for swimming, sunning, and day docking. Boat docking and valet service are available through Fay’s Boat Yard on Varney Point. The home is also within walking distance to the private Gilford Beach—a day pass will be provided for week-long rentals or longer.

The space
When we purchased the cabin, our goal was to furnish and decorate it in a way that would encourage us to unplug and unwind. We love vintage New Hampshire style, so you'll find fun little touches around the house.

The home has three smart TVs, so you can easily access your Netflix account. The living room has a Bluetooth sound system that hooks up to the TV and phones, so you can listen to your favorite playlist. If you're in the mood to unplug, there is a library with an assortment of books, along with a record player with a small collection of vintage records.

Please note: the fireplace is decorative only and not available for use.

Guest access
You’ll have full access to the entire cabin and yard, and you’re welcome to enjoy everything the space has to offer!

Other things to note
The cabin is located on a street of beautiful homes, at the very top of Gunstock Acres. When you first turn on to the street, you'll notice the incredible views of Lake Winnipesaukee across the street. On a clear day, you can see Mt. Washington in the distance. The neighborhood is hilly, so a challenging, scenic hike is just outside your door!

The cabin is driving distance to some of the Lake Region's best amenities.

Ellacoya State Park:
There are a lot of photos of Ellacoya State Park on their website. There is a fee to access the park. Admission is $5 for adults; $2 for children ages 6-11; children ages 5 and under are free.
