Come stay in our completely renovated adirondack cabin located on Lake George near the beautiful Silver Bay YMCA.
A short 15 minute ride south will bring you to Bolton Landing which is filled with quaint shops and restaurants and the fun filled Adirondack Extreme Adventure Park. A 20 minutes ride North will bring you to a golf course, restaurants, ice cream shop, Fort Ti car Ferry to Vermont, Fort Ticonderoga and Walmart. You can rent a boat just 1 mile south at Snug Harbor Boat Rentals. There are numerous other things to do near by such as The Great Escape Theme Park, Water parks, miniature golf, The Adirondack Winery, Lake George boat cruises, tubing and much much more!
The cabin is located next to our home on one acre with 140 ft. of lake front. Perfect for cooking out on the gas grill, playing lawn games, swimming in the sandy swim area, taking a ride in the canoe or kayaks, there is a dock space if you bring a boat, a fire pit, cable, and internet.
There is a fully functioning kitchen with everything you will need. The bed in the bedroom can either be a king size bed or separated into two twins. There is a day bed with a pop up trundle bed in the living area. The cabin has an air conditioner. Linens are included but not beach towels. (Sheets, bath and kitchen towels, pillows and blankets)
The cabin is roomy and can sleep up to four but 2 adults and 2 children are what we would prefer.

This delightful newly-built cabin with gorgeous beautiful mountain views offers privacy and sounds of the brook below. Camp TwoSome was built for just two (or maybe three) ... cozy, sweet and lovely. Located on a quiet road surrounded by woods. Elsewhere on our family compound, we offer a Japanese hot tub for private booking experience $25 charge, on-site walking trails through beautiful wildflower meadows and most nights, wood-fired pizza. Close to rail biking, white water rafting and 13th Lake for swimming and kayaking.

Enjoy gorgeous mountains views of the Gore Mountain range in this brookside newly built cabin. Camp TwoSome is a sweet “new old” cabin is modest in scale, simply furnished so to not detract from the richness of the views --- it offers a fresh, invigorating sense of “just what is needed, nothing more.” The cabin is located on a 40 acre family compound where we have four glamping tents and four cabins with plenty of privacy between each.

There is a queen bed with duvet covers and beautiful east facing views of the mountains. Vintage oriental rugs, beautiful drapes and antique lamps. There is a cozy bay window where one could read, or sleep. The bay window overlooks a brook far below with a beautiful canopy of trees above. The bathroom has a nice shower and vanity. There is plenty of hot water, towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner for your use. The kitchen is fully stocked with a stove, an undercounter fridge, toaster, coffee making things and of course a sink. There are good pans to cook with, plates, glasses and silverware.

There is a fire pit with Adirondack chairs. Stargazing at night is amazing as there is no light pollution.
Summers are wonderful with cool mountain breezes, nearby lakes and the Hudson River to swim, bathe or fish in. Fall is glorious with all the trees turning color.

Built within a beautiful Japanese temple-like structure on one of the most beautiful spots of our land, our all natural no-chemical hot tub is a delightful way to start your morning, relax after hiking or winding down after dinner. Join us for wood-fired pizza! On the upper portion of our land off Cemetery Road, we have a wood fired pizza oven. Here’s how it works. We make and provide the dough, and guests bring their own toppings. We fire up the wood-fired pizza in the late afternoon. By the time the wood fire has died down, the oven is about 800 degrees. From six-thirty to seven-thirty, guests come to the pizza pavilion with their toppings and we help them cook their pizzas. Because the oven is so hot, the pizzas cook in about three minutes. Lots of fun! Requested of donation of $8 ($5 for children) for firewood, dough and maintenance, please. Let us know if you plan to join us. We also have toppings if you don't wish to bring your own.

As for things to do in the area, there is white water rafting in the beautiful clean Hudson River right at the bottom of our hill offered by various kayaking companies, hiking spots galore, a nearby gorgeous completely undeveloped lake called 13th Lake, dining in North Creek or nearby Garnet Hill Lodge and great daytrips to nearby Lake George, Blue Mountain Lake, Lake Placid and such.

The property is an easy scenic drive up 87 from NYC. If you arrive late, the house will be unlocked and lights on for you.

Stretched over the 40 acres we own, we have four glamping tents (Glamp Richard, Glamp Suzanne, Glamp Thomas and Glamp Bernice) and five cabins (Bird Camp, Farmstand, Camp HudsonView, Camp TwoSome and our new Camp Lillian). All are listed on this site.

ARCHITECTURAL NOTES: The cabin was designed and hand crafted by its owner Leslie and her small team of tradesmen during the winter of 2018. The rugged primitive siding was harvested from on-site cedar trees, and the knotty pine interior trim was locally sourced.

A great deal of thought and energy went into planning this cabin. Like a tree grabbing a roothold in the slope, reaching down for water and minerals and arching up toward the available sunlight, a house must begin and grow from its site. When the design of a house has grown out of the uniqueness of the site, it will seem as natural and as integral a part of the whole as trees are a part of the forest. When the house becomes a part of the land, the site can be fully inhabited. The cabin is not set a top the highest point of the land, where it would be fully exposed, but partway down, allowing the woods behind to form privacy and to shelter the house. MORE ABOUT THE PROPERTY: Since 1910, my family has owned 8 acres of land on the upper part of the land. When my great-grandparents built the original camp (Bird Camp), there were gorgeous views looking all the way down to the Hudson River. Then when people stopped owning grazing animals, and as it then became expensive to keep the meadows mowed, the trees grew up and the views were all lost.
When 32 acres of land below us became available several years ago, with financial help from my brother, I purchased the land and over several winters, I had the property strategically logged to open up again the beautiful south and east facing views of Gore Mountain, Moxon Mountain and the Hudson River below.

Originally I intended to return to my former business life I'd led downstate and to build vacation homes for sale. As things have worked out, my plan now is to build simple beautiful rental cabins and retain the property for retirement income, and so that I might leave an income producing estate to my daughters.

I had a wonderful winter of 2018 working with my small crew to build this camp. By December, the framers had completed the structure, the windows were in and I was able to keep warm with temporary heat all winter as we spent months happily finishing the inside of the "camp."

However, our concern disappeared when we went inside - the cabin is plenty big enough for a couple, charming, open, bright and comfy, and has a truly amazing view of the mountains in the distance. Alas that it poured rain all night, we didn't get to star gaze, which should be wonderful on a clear night. But we HAD booked and hour in the wooden hot tub, just a short walk from this cabin, and that was fantastic. So worth it. Our stay was quite short because we wanted to get back home so wet didn't cook or anything -- had wood fired pizza made by host and daughter the evening we arrived, chatted with guests glamping or staying elsewhere on property. It's private and secluded if you want that, with opportunities to be social if you want that. Looked like the kitchen had everything we'd need if we had brought food to cook, with a small fridge. Only complaint is that water pressure is non existent for showering - do not attempt to wash hair. Water temp fine, just dribbly. Would absolutely return!"

Our family-owned cabin is nestled at the Northern end of the lake where it is quiet and incredibly serene. The location is at the base of a forested mountain and situated to face The Great Sacandaga Lake. The log-built exterior is flanked with Amish built chairs and a large A-frame screen-in porch. The firepit welcomes all the traditional memory makers such as smores, storytelling, music playing and/or to simply enjoy your favorite drink as the fireflies and crickets begin the evening.
Once inside, you will be welcomed by the exceptionally clean and upscale furnishings. The kitchen is well appointed with all the items you and your family will need for making a hearty breakfast and dinners on the lakeside dock.

We only have 10ft. which is not enough to keep a boat there but Kayaks, tubes, floats for swimming are allowed.

Newly renovated, fully furnished, and impeccably designed, this alcove studio cabin is one of three Beach Road Cabins conveniently located on the southeast edge of Lake George in a quiet residential enclave that is a short walk from Million Dollar Beach, Usher Park, Lake George Village, and popular restaurants.

This cabin creatively maximizes its 450 sq. ft. footprint and comfortably sleeps up to four people with a queen bed and a full sleeper sofa. Designed in a modern, calming aesthetic, it gets plentiful natural light.

The full bathroom has a standing shower and the kitchen is fully equipped. The dining nook and enclosed front porch provide quiet areas to eat, relax, and, if you must, work.

Parking is available for two vehicles.

Covid 19 Extra Cleaning Steps: Clean all areas that people would touch as back of chairs, door knobs, dressers, drawers, stands, couches, cabinet doors, all faucet fixtures, sinks, refrigerators, microwaves, stands, kitchen table, chairs, remotes, TV and fireplace pokers. We use anti-viral and anti-bacterial cleaners on everything including the the floor cleaner.

Close to several recreational options including swimming, hiking, and mountain biking + gondola rides at Gore Mountain.
The cabin is a split-foyer design with the bedroom, office, and bathroom upstairs and the living, dining, and kitchen areas downstairs.
The only TV in the cabin is in the living room area and there are no channels or cable TV. Guests must use their own subscription (Hulu, Netflix, Disney, Amazon, etc) and stream to the TV.
There is a second exit/entry off of the office area which is located upstairs between the bedroom and bathroom
The setting is true "Adirondack Woods" with an abundance of pine trees and wildlife roaming.
A campsite-style charcoal grill and firepit are in the side yard area. (Wood provided but not charcoal).
The kitchen has a cooktop and a smaller refrigerator with bottom freezer. (No oven).
There is a built-in AC unit upstairs that has supplementary heat for cooler evenings.
Curtains in the bedroom and bathroom are black-out style.
New washer and dryer are in the bathroom.
Some of the furniture, all the trim, the cooktop counter, and the office desk were all built by the host's Dad, using lumber milled off the property.
The artwork in the cabin is all original, painted by the host's Mom and framed by her Dad.

Guests have access to the heated pool (in season), cabana, communal gas grill and fire pit, outdoor games including basketball hoop, shuffleboard, ping-pong, horseshoes, badminton etc as well as the indoor rec room/community room.
Other things to note:
The property is located between Lake George Village and Bolton Landing. We are not on the lake but public beach access is a short drive away. There are beautiful hiking and biking trails just minutes away. During the summer season, our property is served by the Lake George Trolley, carrying passengers to destinations between Lake George Village and Bolton Landing. This cabin is not generally pet friendly, but please inquire for exceptions for small breeds. We DO offer other listings are ARE PET FRIENDLY on the property.

Cabin has enough electricity to power most items with out a heating element. Lights work great.

Cabin Seven is known as the honeymoon cabin. It is a cozy lakefront cabin with a bubbling stream running by. It features a fully appointed kitchen with a range, refrigerator and microwave. There is a screened porch with a lake view. Outside there is a picnic table and a grill. Inside there are two bedrooms. One features a king bed and the other a set of bunks. All sheets and blankets are provided. (Towels not provided) Each cabin comes with a boat or canoe.

The space
Kayaks and paddle boards are available on a shared basis.

Camp 10 is a lakeside log cabin with three bedrooms-one with a queen bed, one with a queen and double bed and one with bunks. There is an open kitchen, dining and living area with a stone fireplace. Cabin 12 is a lakeside chalet featuring two bedrooms-one with a queen bed and one with bunks and a single bed. It has an open kitchen, dining and living area with a fireplace (firewood provided) and a sleeper sofa. The kitchen is fully appointed and sheets and blankets are provided but NO towels. There is an outdoor grill. One boat or canoe is provided. Kayaks and paddle boards are available on a shared basis. Life jackest are available for all sizes.

Cozy Log Cabin sitting amidst trees on a 1/4 acre treed lot. Walk to the Bend of the River Golf or pvt Hudson River Sandy Beach. Cabin lies between Lake George Village and Saratoga via 9N. Hearken back to yesteryear, but with new bathroom, kitchen, dishwasher, central air and heat and W/D
There is a stone fireplace, for winter. All rooms have ceiling fans. Linens and all kitchen necessities provided.

The space
I've spent the winter of 22 refurbishing this lovely log cabin, to bring it back to what it once was and should be. The log walls have been meticulously restored and rechinked, hardwood floors refinished, electric updated to accomadate new central AC and new kitchen and appliances. The cabin has been re- stained a lovely "Pine Cone". New contrasting green gutters have been added. The back covered deck has been brought to code. The wooden mullioned windows and removable wood storms have been reconditioned and a local craftsman has made all new removable wood screens for that original and authentic look. The stone fireplace has been redone from the inside out with new liners for both heat and fireplace as well as new cap and damper. Bathroom has been redone. I have put in a lovely new driveway in the fall of 23.

Guest access
Walk the neighborhood, it's about a mile. It is bordered by the river on 2 sides as well as the unfenced golf course. Its like walking around an island, passing the local camps and neighbors.

I will provide by email prior to your arrival a series of sheets listing the cabin workings such as HVAC, lighting etc, Things To do in the area etc. I have found in my previous cabins that this is most appreciated and my guests feel at ease and comfortable in their surroundings from the outset. No question is unimportant if it your concern.
