- "The cottage with 2 bedrooms was a cute tiny cottage. I didn't receive an email for the code to enter the cottage. After 2 phone calls, we did communicate with someone. We asked if we could leave the boat parked, and the person said it would be okay. Appreciative of that! Once inside the cottage, we found no toilet paper at all and had to go to the store. After a 4 1/2 hr drive to get there, we had to hit the road again. My family just slept, took showers and watched tv there. We did not use the kitchen to cook. I would stay there again. Hoping entry would be better."

infamous race track. With nearly six acres of private woodlands,
babbling brooks and exquisite views of the mountains, this unique
setting is truly a special hide-a-way that will enchant and relax all
visitors. The bank of the river is just a few short steps from the
porch and beckons to be joined by boat, canoe, kayak, or a daring
dive into the crystal clean water. Wildlife of all species abounds in
its natural habitat unspoiled by intruders and protected forever by
the Adirondack Trust. It is truly a private, enchanting environment
and playland for a family vacation with something to do for everyone

Cottage Amenities: Private beach, barbeque, outdoor bonfires, peddle boat, row boats , canoes and kayaks all included with your rental. The cottage is located right on the
banks of the Hudson River, fully equipped with full kitchen, stove,
refrigerator, one bathroom with shower, and screened porches. The
cottage sleeps up to seven people and has one bedroom with full bed downstairs and upstairs sleeping with three twins in the loft. There is also one pull out sofa bed in the main living room. All towels and linens are
provided.

Additional Amenities: We have Streaming Roku TV, radio, and DVD/VCR. We have electric heat and fans for heating and cooling. We have AC but you will not need it. The evenings are delightful and we have ceiling fans to keep you cool and optional air conditioning. The cottage is part of a private parcel and not associated
with a camp or resort. It is secluded but close enough to all kinds of entertainment and outdoor sports facilities, and amusements. We have
a private beach, barbeque facilities (both gas and charcoal), a firepit for your evening bonfires, and outdoor furniture and picnic tables for you to
enjoy. We have one peddle boat, two rowboats, two canoes, and six kayaks
available for your use during your stay. The river is not rough at all and the cottage is situated on a private cove which opens to a large lake-like area (see photos). It is clean and abounds
with fish if you like to fish. We have hiking trails, bike trails,
swimming, and virtually every kind of outdoor activity you might like
within 5-10 minutes of the property.

Enjoy the beautiful Adirondack Mountains while staying in a lovely cottage located walking distance to private lakefront. Private access to lake is a 5 minute stroll down the slope across route 9 and gives you access to the calm waters of Middleworth Bay at Lake George for swimming/boating where there is a 40' pier with a lakeside deck perfect for picnics and lazy afternoons. You can park your boat here comfortably. There are 2 new kayaks for use , we can provide life jackets or you can bring your own. Enjoy spacious bedroom with 2 double beds with propane stove heater and another small bedroom with 2 twin trundle beds. Bathroom has shower/tub, washer and dryer and plenty of shelf storage. You can relax in the great room which has large sofa TV and propane stove heater. Newly build in 2018 outdoor private patio including gas grill, table with umbrella for kicking back, relaxing, enjoying the surroundings or the starry evenings.
There is plenty of parking space behind the cottage. The house has wall unit air conditioning, ceiling fans, iron and ironing board.
Near all summer activities, including Great Escape, Saratoga Springs, & Vermont with excellent hiking trails near by and horseback riding trails.

Although we visited the town's public beach one day, we did appreciate having a private area on the beach. The host was great with communication. There is plenty to do in the area - our family went Horseback riding at Circle B Ranch, rail biking riding in North Creek, and took a summer ski lift ride up Gore Mountain. We also visited the farmer's market in Chestertown. Our family is from Michigan and this was our first visit to NY - we felt very lucky to have stumbled upon this cabin and the area for the Upstate portion of our trip."

- "Perfect Bolton Landing location. The cottage is really nice. It is perfect for a couple visiting Bolton Landing (or with kids - there is a pullout couch - it is a semi open floorplan). The cottage is steps (literally) from the restaurants/shops and walking distance to the beach/Lake George etc. Joe and Shannon are very hospitable and very responsive. In fact, Joe let us hire him to take us back to Albany Airport (we were able to easily get an Uber from Albany Airport - but there is no Uber/Lyft in Bolton Landing to get you back). We definitely recommend this cottage."

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Our Unit #9 is a cozy two story one bedroom with pull out sofa sleeper in the living room, private entrance and upper and lower decks over looking beautiful Schroon Lake. This is an efficiency unit with towels linens and all you need for a quiet relaxing vacation.

This unit was once called the "Ice House" where blocks of ice cut from the lake would be stored. This two story unit is actually built into the hill so the first floor with kitchen and living room are ground level and the little spiral staircase takes you to the lower basement level where the bedroom and bath are located. Both floors have sliding glass doors and a deck/porch that over look the lake.

Donohue Riverview is a beautiful cottage located on the Hudson River in the wonderful charm of Lake Luzerne, in the Adirondack Park Mountains. It is perfect year-round for your relaxing getaway or active, mountaineers, skiers and kayakers dream! Nestled between Saratoga Race track and Lake George Village, "The Smartest Lake in the World." 15 minutes to West Mountain and 30 minutes to Gore Mountain.

The space
There is a private road leading to this 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom stunning newly remodeled cottage sitting on the Hudson River with a private deck and dock. There are ample activities, whether you never leave this cottage or decide to go for a hike, kayak ride, or a nearby town for some fun nightlife and horse racing. Donohue Riverview is a year-round cottage that is perfect for watching the fall foliage or skiing at nearby West Mountain or Gore Mountain. This beautiful space has very comfortable sleeping quarters with a fully stocked kitchen and barbeque grill.

Just across the road from the outlet that leads directly to Brant Lake, you’ll have easy access for paddling, fishing, or boating—without the waterfront price. We provide kayaks and paddle boards so you can launch from shore and cruise through the calm outlet to the lake. It’s also accessible by motorboats if you bring one, and there’s great fishing right from the beach.

You’re just 0.6 miles (a 1-minute drive) to the Brant Lake public boat launch, and only 0.8 miles from a marina where you can rent motorboats for the day.

When you’re not on the water, you’ll love relaxing on the screened-in porch with a picnic table or gathered around your private fire pit with mountain views and Adirondack chairs. Inside, enjoy a cozy living and dining area, a small but fully equipped kitchen with full-size appliances, and a bathroom with a stall shower.

The cabin sleeps up to six, with two bedrooms—one with a Queen bed and the other with two Full beds—making it ideal for families or a few friends. We provide bedding and pillows; you just bring towels. The cabin includes WiFi and an Amazon Fire Smart TV for streaming with your own subscriptions.

Food Truck Fridays down the street .3 miles at the Horicon Community Center, all summer long. Lots of food trucks, 5-8pm. Entertainment and live music. You can walk here from our cottages.

A Saturday Farmers Market is also a short walk away.

Hike the Brant Lake Challenge!
The Brant Lake Challenge is a series of four hikes in close proximity to our cottages. One mountain is directly in front of our cottages and another is directly behind our cottages. You can walk to both trailheads.
You can complete the hikes in any order. Keep track of the dates you complete each one. Once you've completed all hikes, fill out the completion form and you'll earn a certificate!

You'll have access to a spacious grassy area for outdoor activities, along with a private fire pit featuring comfortable Adirondack chairs. There are options to enjoy kayaking, both seated and stand-up paddle boarding. You can paddle from our sandy beach to the main lake or take a short trip downstream to The Hub cafe. At The Hub, you can pull up your kayak, hike on Bartonville Mountain's well-maintained trails, and enjoy food, ice cream, and drinks in the cafe.

This spacious cottage features 5 bedrooms, 4 upstairs and 1 downstairs and a view of Dream Lake. Lower-level finished basement and game room feature a fireplace, vintage arcade game console, pool table, and sectional with Smart TV for large groups to enjoy.

The space
The Lodge features views of the Adirondack's and Dream Lake where guests can enjoy the dual outdoor patios to both grill and relax by the fire pit. The upstairs balcony has a two piece Adirondack chairs. The lower level balcony has a dining table, gas grill and 6 person seating. The living room features a large SMART TV and console with board games.

There are 5 bedrooms, 4 bedrooms are upstairs and one is in the basement. Upstairs bedrooms have a queen size mattress, night stand, dresser, closet and a television. The basement bedroom has a queenside bed, desk with work chair, night stand, dresser and closet.

The spacious basement has a game room which includes a pool table classic arcade game, kid's ski-ball, dart board, bar and mini fridge, electric fireplace, leather sectional and a 72" television that has a console with seating for dining downstairs.

We are located in the Lake George area off of Bay Road. The village of Lake George is just 10 minutes by car.

Welcome to our cottage, a charming 3 bedroom, two bath house right on beautiful Lake George. This fully furnished home was used for years as a seasonal rental for our extended family, and now we are opening up to all visitors!

The main feature is a living room / dining room that opens onto a spacious porch overlooking the lake. You can sit here and enjoy the view, or you can walk out to the private island to sit by the fire pit or enjoy the day from covered seating.
