Boulder Ridge is the perfect mountain retreat nestled in the southern Adirondack mountains surrounded by nature, while being just 5 miles from Lake George Village. Boulder Ridge is a mountain estate encompassing 61 private acres of mountainous forests full of hiking/ATV trails, wildlife, and spectacular Mountain Views. The house features a large rap-around deck on 3 sides, one of which is a covered porch. On the deck is a BBQ grill, a picnic table and additional seating for outdoor entertainment and dining. In the side yard there is a large fire pit for roasting marshmallows with the kids and evening entertainment for adults.

Guns and hunting are not allowed on the premises without the express written permission of the owner!

We welcome all snowmobile and winter sport enthusiasts. Our property is large enough to accommodate snowmobile trailers of all sizes. The Warren County snowmobile trails are a short ride from the property. You can access Lake George Village from these trails. Trail maps will be provided. [A signed liability waiver is required, and will be provided]. Boulder Ridge is approximately 20 minutes from Gore and West Mountain Ski Centers, and only 10 minutes to Hickory Hill Ski Center. The property is 10 minutes from the Village of Lake George, and approximately 35 minutes to Saratoga Springs Performing Arts Center, the Saratoga casino and race tracks. Great Escape Amusement park and Splash Water Kingdom is a short 15 minute ride.

During the winter months 4x4 or all-wheel drive vehicles are required to access the house, given that the terrain is mountainous.

When arriving on our private road Alpine Loop to the Chalet your welcomed by the scenery views of the natural watershed ponds and the nature amongst them. Depending on the time of year the scenery is the most welcoming parts and reflections of the season of life on the ponds. Each season is beautiful on its own merits. With the changing dynamics of wildlife which lives upon them and around them.

When you arrive at the Chalet the outside lights are on to light your way to the front door. Upon entering the front door, a warm ambiance of lights and the seasonally decorated space will make you feel right at home. There are hooks and hangers to hang up your jackets and hats. A bench to take your shoes off and provide storage for your things. A homemade treat greets you that abides to you and your family’s personal dietary requirements. We provide hot drinks for our guests from Coffee, tea, hot chocolate with marshmallows,’ sugar, honey, sugar substitutes provided also along with creams. Giving you that must needed treat after your long journey to the Adirondack adventure trip or retreat you are starting. We provide a Welcome book to read all the important aspects of the Chalet and things to do in the Adirondacks and places to Dine if you choose not to have your meal or meals in the fully equipped and stocked Kitchen. To start your morning, we provide our guests with the means to prepare a waffle/ pancake breakfast with Pearl Mills flour mix and locally made maple syrup and a stick of butter. The Chalets’ sleeping area offers comfortable Queen bed and one twin and one extra-long twin bed with luxurious bed linens and pillows. The Queen bed provides four under the bed deep drawers for personal items and clothes. There is a wood chest in the living area that stores the sheets, pillows, and blankets for the twin beds.
Cozy up on the couch for a relaxing time together. Take in a book or watch a movie or simply good down-to-earth conversations together relaxing in the living room area listening to music. The living area has all the indoor entertainment for your trip with cards, games, and books for young and old. Sirius music provides music for your music tastes as well as news and sports channels.

In the custom bathroom you have the full comforts of luxurious towels and deep tub/ shower combination. With shower toiletries provided right down to bubble bath and salts. We have a free landline phone in the USA only, hardwired internet connection as well. If you are a gamer, we do have a hard wire HDMI port to plug in your gaming console. Television is a 40" Roku tv with a pull-out capability to view it at kitchen bar counter. The chalet has multiple light options and offers multiple outlets throughout for all your needs including the balcony and garden veranda at the front entrance sitting area.

Outside is a picnic table with an umbrella in the summer and in the winter, we move it under chalet for covered seating. A small charcoal grill provided. There is a stone fire pit with benches and small tables to enjoy your time under the stars. Firewood and kindling provided.

One of the most pleasant parts of the Adirondacks and being at Oven Mountain Chalets is seeing the open skies of a full canopy of stars in the night sky. With the moon, stars, galaxies, and planets above with all the quick flashes of light of shooting stars above in the darkness with the sounds of nature around you. Here at Oven Mountain Chalets, we have in-house plowing and shoveling right to the front door, no fear of power outages for we now have a whole house by-standing generator. We do not charge a cleaning fee on your rental with us.

No pets allowed in the Chalet - Though as required by law we do accept aiding dogs.

Cell phone coverage can be unpredictable at times, but AT&T does have coverage at the house, and actually gets great LTE data service as well. Coverage in town is available for AT&T now but may not be for others, so plan accordingly if you were hoping to call back to the house because you forgot what you needed at the store. Verizon coverage has improved based on reports from guests.

Wi-Fi is available for use with high speed fiber connectivity (500 down/500 up).

Our property is on a town maintained dirt road and our driveway is a mix of dirt and stone. While the town makes every effort to keep it plowed sudden snow is common and can quickly cover the road, making them slippery. We also work to keep the driveway cleared but can be limited in larger snow falls as it may require a front-loader which can't zip around town. At least one four wheel drive vehicle is recommended in the winter or a very experience winter driver.

We have security cameras on the property, full details on why and what we can see on our website.They record 24/7 and can be viewed remotely. We wish we didn't have to have them but guest behavior has necessitated them. We have had items stolen, damaged, broken into, taken apart and more. The is one in our locked shed, it is a separate structure, it isn't for guests. There are none inside beyond what has been listed. Outside we need to monitor driveway conditions, group arrivals, propane tank, septic tank, A/C condenser, garbage totes, wood pile, areas leading to entry doors, shed access. We cannot see into the house from any camera. We do not have audio monitoring devices. If you have any concerns we can share an image from any camera upon request, they all have timestamps.

Would appreciated check-in emails, markings or documentation to provide more clarity on areas that are not supposed to be accessed. Location accessed was left accessible. Great location only 1.5 miles from Northway/Rt 87. Steinmetz Lodge is a year-round Adirondack chalet located on Paradox Lake inlet. This year-round vacation home of 2300 square feet, constructed in 2004, is ideal for families with kids. The property has its own private waterfront and boat dock on the inlet, 150 yards from the lake, and access to a quiet, sandy, community beach for sunbathing/swimming. The Lodge has a fully-equipped kitchen and large family room on the main floor with a cathedral ceiling, Adirondack beams, gas stove/fireplace, and two sliding glass doors to a wraparound deck overlooking the waterfront. Hiking guides are available in the Lodge. Fall is a wonderful time to hike and enjoy the glorious color changes. In the winter, go ice fishing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling. Downhill skiing at Gore Mtn. is a 35-minute drive and Whiteface is 45 minutes. The Lodge is close to many popular attractions, including Fort Ticonderoga, Lake Placid, Saranac Lake, Lake George, and Saratoga. In the winter, be sure to check dates for the Saranac Lake Winter Carnival. In Schroon Lake, there are several restaurants and a coffee shop, as well as many shops catering to visitors, and the Paradox Brewery, which has opened a new site just north of the Lodge in North Hudson on Route 9.

A Tesla 240 volt, 40 amp, charging outlet was recently installed on the exterior of the Lodge.

Boating: You can bring your own power boat; the dock can accommodate most sizes. There’s a public boat launch on the lake. A canoe, paddles, and lifejackets are provided; a pair of kayaks with paddles may be rented from the Lodge. Boat rentals are available at the Schroon Lake Marina.

Our summer season rental rate from Memorial Day to Labor Day is $2,800 for a weekly, seven nights minimum stay. Our off-season rate in the fall, winter, and spring is $400.00 per night for a minimum three-night stay ($1,200) and a seven nights discounted weekly rate of $2,100. The rate for Christmas, New Year's and President's stay of seven nights is $2,800, with a minimum stay of three nights ($400.00 per night).

Our home is less than 23 minutes from Gore Mountain and 30 minutes from Lake George. The snowmobile trail system can be accessed right from our door! Hike nearby Stewart Mountain, or venture into the town of Chestertown and visit the many shops and the famous Ice Cream Parlor which serves up the most delicious breakfast and lunches and of course, yummy ice cream! This area is well known for its excellent trout fishing nearby on the Schroon and Hudson Rivers . When the lake freezes, snowshoeing on the lake is amazing.

This pristine custom home boasts 2 living rooms, 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, a bar/ hot tub room, fully equipped kitchen with new appliances, large dining room and deck off the master suite and the main living area. It is well suited to two families.

The Space:

On the same floor you will find the primary bedroom with a queen bed, and a private bathroom with large shower. There are two more bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a twin over full perfect for a couple with child. All with high end mattresses and bedding for your comfort.

Downstairs you will find the TV room where you can relax and watch movies or play video games. There is a separate games area with a pool table, cards table and many board games to choose from. There is also one additional bedroom with a double bed that sleeps two and one full bathroom with large shower on this level.

The fun continues outdoor where you will find a large inground heated pool with comfortable lounge chairs where you can enjoy the sun while reading your favorite book. There is a wooden deck off the kitchen with a dining table where you can enjoy a relaxing breakfast, a separate garden dining table and grill for large group meals, and a firepit for relaxing evenings around a bonfire while enjoying the surrounding views. There is also a large hot tub under a gazebo for your relaxation.

-Any report of visible damage or something not working properly should be made upon arrival. Please take care of Kitchen items as your own and leave items as you found them.
-Do not clean stove top while hot and only use soapy water to clean with sponge. Do not move furniture around.

The Chalet is located along a dead-end road with direct access to the Warren County Bikeway. The house offers wonderful lake views and is situated on the host’s property. There is a deck overlooking the lake, a wonderful place to start your day. The water off the dock is deep enough to jump in off the end of the end or you can wade in off the beach. After a lovely day at the lake, have diner on the outdoor deck and relax in front of the campfire. What a perfect day in the Adirondacks but just 2 mile off I-87 exit 20, 20 minutes to Saratoga, 5 minutes to Lake George Village, 3 minutes to Adirondack Outlets and 2 minutes to 6 Flags great Escape Adventure and Water Park. Just check out the local chamber of commerce web site. There are other amusement parks, outlet shopping, museums, malls, restaurants, hiking, white water rafting, horseback riding, etc. We are sure you will have a great time.

Glen Lake is approximately 3 miles long. The house is in the deeper and wider sections of the lake. The Dockside Restaurant is on the lake serving lunch and dinner. A dock space is available for a small runabout, fishing boat or jet ski. Kayaks, Canoe are also available. The water is comfortable and great for swimming and activities. Surrounding homes along the lake are mostly year-round and it tends to be very quiet during the week, especially during the day.

Please remember that you're staying in a family house, not a hotel. We ask that you treat the space with the respect you would show your own home. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on site 24/7.
As an insurance company requirement, we request all guests to provide government issued IDs prior to check in.

The space
This is our most popular A-frame style chalet, a two-level accommodation overlooking the resort, set privately on the hill. This spacious home features two bedrooms and sleeps 6. The top floor has a queen hickory log bed and two twin log beds, easy chair and hanging swing seat. The larger main floor master has a queen hickory log bed. On the main floor there is a full kitchen, living room (smart TV with Hulu, Roku, etc), one bath and an elevated deck with an outdoor gas fire-table and patio seating. The chalet has quaint Adirondack charm and offers full access to all amenities at the resort. The main floor level is the middle story of the A-frame, and the entrance to this and the deck is accessed via a set of stairs. It is not a ground floor level. The middle-floor level deck is a smaller space, and includes a gas fire table and Adirondack chairs for 4. On the inside, the first-floor level includes a kitchen, dining area, living room, bath with tub/shower, and a bedroom with a queen bed. The chalet is heated and cooled by a brand new ductless mini-split system. The space is well appointed in the Adirondack style and offers the comforts of home. Parking is located near to the cabin. This chalet has access to all of the resort amenities. Please book this accommodation for 3 nights or more during our summer season, or 2 nights or more year-round. This A-Frame chalet is located on the Adirondack Diamond Point Resort property, which includes a variety of cabins and lodge suites between 1 and 3 bedrooms in size. Please feel free to ask questions to help find the right accommodation for you. The ADK Lodge is owned and operated by the Drake Family, and offers a full complement of staff that immaculately cleans each accommodation. There are no absentee property owners, the hospitality business is our family business! The building is set aside and above the Lodge area, and enjoys some privacy, set on the upper half of our 5 acre property. Parking is directly by the front door, in the driveway. Guests have access to all seasonally available amenities and the Resort grounds. The cabin is most optimal for and has a maximum occupancy of 6 guests at any time. We have multiple cabins or cabin units as well as Lodge suites available. On the main Adirondack Lodge resort property, there is a seasonal outdoor pool (late June – early Sept), a game room located on the south side of the office building (open between May 1 and October 31). Look for the American flag to find the entrance to the game room. There is also cornhole, shuffleboard basketball horseshoes etc. All of that is on the main resort campus where the green buildings are just below down the hill. You can walk down the path through the woods or you can walk the road and back into the property, whichever you prefer. We also have a large gas party grill located by the pool under the tiki bar.

-Our pet policy: We allow up to one animal, under 50 lbs and at least one year in age. There is a pet fee applicable to your stay. While a guest with us, animals must not be left unattended in your accommodation unless crated, are not allowed on furniture or bedding, and any “business” and all pet hair must be cleaned up by pet parents. The department of Health regulations do not allow dogs at pools or the game room. Guests must select "Pet" when reserving. Please contact us before booking if you wish to request exceptions to this policy.
-The Pines & Hemlocks cabins & chalets are part of the Adirondack Diamond Point Resort, which includes a variety of cabins and lodge accommodations and amenities on a 5 acre property spanning both sides of Vito Rd. The main entrances and signs for the resort are located on Lake Shore Drive. The Pines comprise 3 log and A-frame buildings at 19 Vito Rd, and The Hemlocks is a multi-space authentic log cabin, and is located up the hill on 23 Vito Road. Vito Road is a quiet, no-outlet side street.
-We provide all bed linens, comforters, blankets, and pillows. Please bring your own bath towels, or ask us in advance for assistance. We do NOT provide body wash cloths.
-Our Guest laundry is in the game room, and is available from May through September annually. Some accommodations include W/D in the unit.
-We are not a waterfront property, however, we have some views of the lake from parts of the property and several accommodations.
-Airbnb includes "salt & pepper" with pots and pans, dinnerware, utensils, etc, in the amenities section. Apologies, but we do not leave any food in the property between guests. Please bring or purchase locally any ingredients needed for your cooking enjoyment
-This is a rustic cabin, and please note that pests may breach the interior. We do treat for rodents, but please be aware that this is a possibility, as in all older buildings. We DO NOT use poison stations, for the safety of our guests' children and pets!
-Smoking is not allowed at our property, in accordance with New York State law. A $100 fine will be assessed to your stay if ANY evidence of smoking is found in the rented unit or in any of the building areas such as window ledges, common rooms or areas, stairs or the entrance area near to the reception.
-Only the registered number of guests may stay in a Cabin or Suite.
For cabin and home rental, please remember to bring your own bath and beach towels
-A $25 charge for each additional adult guest per night will be charged.
We reserve the right to cancel any reservation, without refund, if an unconfirmed number of people stay overnight.
-We do not allow pets without express permission from the Property.
-All our guests are asked to respect the property and privacy of their fellow guests and neighbors and to not make any excessive noise between the Quiet Hours of 10pm and 8am.

Our home is situated on over 3 acres with direct access to the Schroon River. Please note that the trail leading to the river is steep and uneven, with drop-offs along the way. Caution is advised when using the trail, and it may not be suitable for small children. Children must always be accompanied by an adult, and parents/guardians should use their discretion when deciding whether to bring children to the river.

Here at Oven Mountain Chalets, we provide you with that sense of coming home. With a calm and peace right from the moment you enter its road to when you enter the Chalets front door.
When arriving on our private road Alpine Loop to the Chalet you will be welcomed by the scenery views of the natural watershed ponds and the nature amongst them. Depending on the time of year the scenery is the most welcoming parts and reflections of the season of life on the ponds. Each season is beautiful on its own merits. With the changing dynamics of wildlife which lives upon them and around them.

When you arrive at the Chalet the outside lights are on to light your way to the front door. When you enter the front door, you are greeted by a warm seasonally decorated space according to the season. There are hooks and hangers to hang up your jackets and hats. A bench to take your shoes off and provide storage for your things. You are greeted with a homemade treat that abides with you and your families’ personal dietary requirements. We provide hot drinks for our guests from Coffee, tea, hot chocolate with marshmallows,’ sugar, honey, sugar substitutes provided also along with creams. Giving you that must needed treat after your long journey to the Adirondack adventure trip you are starting. We provide a Welcome book to read all the important aspects of the Chalet and things to do in the Adirondacks and places to Dine if you choose not to have your meal or meals in the fully equipped and stocked Kitchen. To start your morning, we provide our guests with the means to prepare a waffle/ pancake breakfast with Pearl Mills flour mix and locally made maple syrup and a stick of butter. Starting your memories together from the start.

The Chalets’ sleeping area is offers a comfortable Queen bed and one twin and one extra-long twin bed with luxurious bed linens and pillows. The Queen bed provides four under the bed deep drawers for personal items and clothes. There is a wood chest in the living area that stores the sheets, pillows, and blankets for the twin beds. We provide throw blankets to use around the fire or on the balcony on chilly mornings or nights.

Cozy up on the couch for a relaxing time together. Take in a book or watch a movie or just good down-to-earth conversations together relaxing in the living room area listening to music. The living area has all the indoor entertainment for your trip with cards, games, and books for young and old. Sirius music is provided for your music tastes as well as news and sports channels.

In the custom bathroom you have the full comforts of luxurious towels and deep tub/ shower combination. With shower toiletries provided right down to bubble bath and salts. Giving you that luxurious spa feeling after a long day of adventures in the Adirondacks, hiking the mountain trails or a ski day at Gore Mountain.

Start your morning out on the screened balcony to enjoy your morning coffee or breakfast outside at the bench table with the sounds of nature around you. It is a wonderful place to enjoy playing games with your family or sit in the chairs to read and relax taking in the wetland scenery. Whatever you decide, you are bound to relax and enjoy a much-needed time away from the business of life.

If you need to bring business work with you, we provide great W-IFI/ High Speed FiOS 1 gig Internet. Which past guest says was the best for their online meetings. We have a free landline phone in the USA only, hardwired internet connection as well. If you are a gamer, we do have a hard wire HDMI port to plug in your gaming console. Television is a 40" Roku tv with a pull-out capability to view it at kitchen bar counter. The chalet has multiple light options and offers many of outlets throughout for all your needs including the balcony and garden veranda at the front entrance sitting area.

Outside is a picnic table with an umbrella in the summer and in the winter, we move it under chalet for covered seating. A small charcoal grill is provided. There is a stone fire pit with benches and small tables to enjoy your time under the stars. Firewood and kindling are provided.

One of the most pleasant parts of the Adirondacks and being at Oven Mountain Chalets is seeing the open skies of a full canopy of stars in the night sky. With the moon, stars, galaxies, and planets above with all the quick flashes of light of shooting stars above in the darkness with the sounds of nature around you. It will be one of the most spectacular moments to experience on your trip to the Adirondacks and stays at the Chalet.

Here at Oven Mountain Chalets, we have in-house plowing and shoveling right to the front door, no fear of power outages for we now have a whole house by-standing generator, and we do not charge a cleaning fee.

Heat: electric baseboard heats. Please note it gets hot quick. They don’t need to go past 60, thats more like 70. Please turn down when leaving for the day and make sure nothing is left on or near them. Upon departure turn all off except one near stairs and bathroom leave at. 50

The space
Our home is located off of scenic by way route 28. The driveway is a 1/4 mile off the road, packed gravel. Located 15 mins from Lake George and 15 mins from Gore mountain. The game room/ entertainment room and one bedroom/bathroom is on the first floor. Second floor is the kitchen, dining room, living room (fireplace) and two bedrooms/bathroom. Third floor is the master suite, deck, sitting area and bathroom. Six person hot tub is located outside. Our home is pet friendly. The home has a two car heated garage which guest will have access to. Whole house generator when power goes out. Barn for events is extra and can be discussed after booking confirmation.

Guest access
Barn with tables and chairs for events is an extra fee of $3000 for 75 guests, less than 75 it is $41 a person this is separate from the house booking once you have booked your dates on the platform details can be discussed and showing the house. We require event insurance and liquor license for the caterers.

A location fee for ceremonies and photos in the barn less than 10 guests or less that do not require the tables and chairs is $250. This is separate from the house booking.

The entire house is accessible to guests.

Other things to note
Home is an open layout and does not have air-conditioning. A fee for extra guests per person, per night after 4 guests this is reflected when you share the number of guests for your reservation.

Other things to note
With the cool mountain nights, there is usually a cool breeze so not much need for air conditioning. Opening the windows and putting on the ceiling fans should do the trick. There are portable fans in the bedrooms and a portable air conditioning unit in the top floor master bedroom if necessary. Unfortunately, there is no trash collection. We ask that you take trash with you or to the dump. Directions are provided in the welcome binder. If you leave your trash, we are happy to dispose of it but will charge a fee of $25-$40.
Please note that there is a 7 night minimum for July and August.
Our home is our investment. We do not allow events such as graduation, bachelor or bachelorette parties. Quiet time on the beach is between 10 pm and 7 Am. Minimum age to rent is 25.

The space
Stunning, custom-built contemporary with 3 full bathrooms (one on each level). Main floor has a beautiful great room with hemlock beams harvested from the property, oak floors, and Vermont Casting wood stove that heats the whole house. Large eat-in kitchen has custom cabinets and vintage stove. Spacious primary bedroom suite with hickory king log bed, walk-in closet, and your own propane fireplace. Upstairs is a relaxing loft area with two more bedrooms, while the basement boasts a kids game room with bunk beds and sofa and another bathroom.

Guests have private access to entire home and property, not shared or occupied by any other guests or owner.

- Seasonal Patio/ Firepit use: The home is equipped with an outdoor woodburning firepit area behind the house but it is difficult to get to during winter months (Dec-March) with heavy snow cover. Guest use is low and unanticipated during this time period as it not maintained. However, the area is still available if accessible. Guests are still welcome to use it if they can do so safely. If you have a specific need for use during this period please let us know ahead of time.

- Seasonal Deck use: The deck area is regularly maintained to have snow removed during winter months (Dec-March). Although, guest use is low and unanticipated during this time period with potential for heavy snow cover and very cold temps. However, the area is still available. Guests are still welcome to use it if they can do so safely. The grill will always be available for use however some patio furniture/propane firepit may be inaccessible. If you have a specific need for use during this period please let us know ahead of time.
-Burnt Pond Accessibility: You DO NOT have access to the beach via Burnt Pond Estates Road. It is a private road and part of a HOA. (Although it looks close and accessible, please keep out.) The pond itself, can be seasonally accessed for kayaking, fishing, or other non-motorized water sports. You can access the water via a small parking area at the end of Burnt Hill Rd. Directions to the public access point are available in our guidebook.

Beautiful wood beams frame the home, with lots of light filling the space. The chalet offers a cozy living room and wood stove along with comfortable, bright bedrooms. Easy access to many activities and 5 minutes to downtown North Creek. Room to roam on the wooded forever wild areas. Should you tire of the outdoors or have a rainy day inside, a ping pong table and separate pool table await guests in the game room basement area. Enjoy access to a 65 inch smart TV in the same basement game room, in addition to the smaller 42 inch Smart TV on the main floor. Relaxing, quiet and secluded space to work from with reliable high speed WIFI.
**Pets considered on a case by case basis with $200 flat fee required. Entire Security deposit will be withheld if there are damages incurred by pets.

Please note that the Hot Tub is only available for winter rentals. It is emptied in the summer.

The space
Our home is situated on over 3 acres with direct access to the Schroon River. Please note that the trail leading to the river is steep and uneven, with drop-offs along the way. Caution is advised when using the trail, and it may not be suitable for small children. Children must always be accompanied by an adult, and parents/guardians should use their discretion when deciding whether to bring children to the river.
