- "Nice" - "I could tell that renovations had started in several of the buildings. However there were a lot of other amenities that were still under construction. The website makes this property look much better than it currently is. We still had a nice stay despite having loud people above us that carried on until the wee hours of the morning. We didn’t say anything so the hotel isn’t to blame. As much as I liked to be able to walk out my door onto the parking lot, you do hear a lot of noise from the floor above even just walking around the room. - "This was our second year and our second stay at Lake George and the Marine Village Resort. This Hotel is wonderful for families, as I took my 3 Grandsons. The Lake and the Pool are on the property and just about everything else is in walking distance. My youngest Grandson, (for the 2nd year now), rates the Pizza at the restaurant across the street as "The Best Pizza Ever!!" We went to Frankenstein's Castle, the park that had entertainment and bouncy houses and pony rides. And spent most of our very hot days in the wonderful pool and beautiful lake--Oh, and the resort had paddle boats too! Looking forward to next year too. Everything was spotless and clean, and surprisingly for a free breakfast the coffee tasted great, the instant scrambled eggs and thin bacon weren't high caliber products BUT were PERFECTLY cooked, moist eggs (not dry) and crispy bacon. Elsie obviously takes pride in her job. I would have paid twice as much for our stay and still thought it a deal. 5-stars!"

During this stay, a snow event happened that caused a need to stay one more night. The entire group helped arrange for the extra stay and made it easy to make the adjustments needed. I have stayed at this hotel several times and each time I have had an excellent experience. I don't even think of another hotel when I come to this area. I recommend this hotel to everyone."

In 2018, my family and I decided to breathe new life into the Lake Haven. With a lot of love and local craftsmanship, we transformed it into charming apartments, suites, and studios. - **Rule**: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
- **Explanation**: Sweet dreams are made of this—keeping it down so everyone can catch those Zzz's.

**No Smoking**
- **Rule**: Smoking is not allowed inside the rooms or on the property.
- **Explanation**: Fresh air for everyone! Plus, no one likes the smell of old smoke.

**Garbage Disposal**

Everything that you need (e.g. shops, restaurants, entertainment) is within walking distance. The main "downtown" village is approximately 8 minutes walking (all side walks) and the pool is steps from your front door. A family-run (not ours) Italian restaurant that has been in business since 1954 is located directly across the street, as is a family-run (not ours either) breakfast place. There is parking directly outside of the unit.

Other things to note
Our family and team take pride in our property and we want our guests to have a wonderful experience. So, we encourage questions and inquiries before booking. Please let us know if there is anything specific that we can do to make for a wonderful stay. We greatly appreciate your interest and your business.

WiFi disclaimer

Please note that we are in the mountains with limited cell towers and cable internet service. When there is a surge of people in the area WiFi and cell service tend to bog down. Service is best early morning before 8 am and after 11 pm as usage is down at these times. This is not a problem just at our property but all over the area given the terrain and limited cell towers. Weekends are the worst of times and weekdays have much better service as there are less people in the area fighting for the same service.
