- "Cozy Adirondack style" - "A fun place with cozy cottages close to Whiteface Mountain (skiing) and Lake Placid. Quaint, clean, and cozy. The cottage/chalet was exactly as described and in the pictures online. The wood burning fireplace was great after a day of skiing, with chairs and a sofa surrounding the fireplace. Parking right at your cottage, with a small porch, and easy in/out of the resort to get to the Lake Placid and Wilmington areas. Supplies and restaurants nearby, and a bit of an adventure feel staying at the Wilderness Inn versus a hotel! Great experience!"

- "If you long for privacy yet want to be able to jump into the fun at Lake Placid-this is the perfect place to stay. This home is nestled back on a dead end road with only an approx. 15 minute drive to Lake Placid. Abby is an excellent host with great communication. I wasn’t At the cabin much due to staying for the Ironman triathlon. Everything I needed to make something to eat was there and the bed was comfortable. Just a heads up watch your shins on the bed frame- it hurts ;) Certainly not Abby’s fault I was clumsy.. just sharing to help save you the pain. The couch is also a hideabed so, even though it’s not big on square footage -Abby has maximized the space to accommodate more guests. It was just me this stay but I’d guess 6 guests could stay here comfortably. Book with confidence- Abby truly is a super host!"

Beds were extremely comfortable and loved having access to a fire pit complete with both wood for firming and fire starting wood. Also very close to two great local restaurants and local hiking that is accessible with minimal tourism. Overall, awesome experience and would choose this accommodation again!" - "My husband and I stayed here recently with our 3 young children and it was absolutely perfect! Very clean, cozy, enough beds for us all, nice living room area to spread out a bit, play games, etc. Super close drive in to Lake Placid and lots of great little places to eat. It was perfect for what we needed. Highly recommend!"

- "We had a great stay at the Jay house. We had 4 adults, two kids and two small dogs and it was a great size for us. It’s close to many towns, trails and restaurants (30 min or less drive). We really appreciated the reliable wifi and smart TVs- which are hard to find in the Adirondacks. We also really appreciated the recommendation book and easy check in. Nicole, the owner, was very fast and easy to communicate with." - "The house was beautiful and spacious. The host was responsive and helpful. Would recommend."

Great location, not too far from Lake Placid, but far enough to be secluded. The accommodations were just perfect and the chalet was well stocked with anything we needed. We were very impressed with the professional management! Highly recommend!" - "We enjoyed our stay. The space was nicely appointed and comfortable. We felt at home."

The Cedar Chalet is a beautiful, rustic cabin that features an intimate setting with one double bed, 1 single bed and 1 Futon by the cozy in-room fireplace. Perfect for a family of 4 looking for some relaxing time away, The Cedar is your next "Home away from home". The property provides lots of space with a porch and fire pit in pure nature under Pine Trees - the perfect location for campfires. You're welcome to bring your pets.
- "Cabin was so cozy best part was the fire place inside used it every night. Loved the outdoor fire pit, dogs enjoyed the stay and Yann was always around if we needed anything very friendly can’t wait to come again love this place and area everything was so beautiful…." - "What do I expect in lodging? I want a place to be safe, clean, comfortable - and the owners to be accessible if there are any questions or problems. This checked off the boxes. The cabins themselves are small but comfortable and equipped with most necessities. I'm guessing they were initially intended more for winter use, as they're close to Whiteface. Given that I was there in warm weather (to hike), I had no need for the heat or fireplace, but the cabin did not seem like it would be drafty in the cold. There's no a/c, and while the windows aren't really ideal for cross-ventilation, there were two fans and a screen door that allowed for comfort. The cabin was clean and had no bugs inside. The beds are comfortable. There's plenty of additional seating, including a table with stools - ideal for meals. The little fridge and microwave did their job. Unlike many rentals of this type, the water pressure for a shower was great. The hot water held up well, and the little tub was functional. Yann was very communicative from the start, initiating and continuing a text message dialog during our stay. This is unobtrusive and convenient, as is the no-contact check-in. I suppose I could nit-pit minutia, but there's no need. We had a very pleasant stay and would both return and recommend this place to others. The location is conveniently along a main road, although tucked back enough to feel secluded. The cabins have enough space from one another for comfort, and the (closed) restaurant in front adds to the sense of privacy. The big, old trees lend a feeling of peacefulness. My understanding is that this place had been in business for many years with owners who retired relatively recently. The new owners seem eager to please and learn as they take over the helm."

- "The chalet was small, but clean and cute. It had everything we needed. The location was great. We spent one day at Ausable Chasm, which was not that far away. We spent the next day at The Wild Center in Tupper Lake, also not too far away. And we drove to the top of Whiteface and spent some time in Lake Placid. This location was perfect for all of this. Host was great and check in and out was super easy. We had a wonderful time!" - "This place provided a great cabin getaway while also being near plenty of activites and hikes. Would definitely recommend!!"
