We offer year-round cottage rentals of 2 nights minimum, weekend or weekdays in the Laurentians, one hour north of Montreal, nestled in Sainte-Agathe-Des-Monts between Saint-Sauveur and Mont -Tremblant. Our units offer a superb view of Lac à la Truite and are equipped with a fireplace, a kitchenette, some with dishwasher, some with sauna, double whirlpool bath or spa, a balcony or terrace or both with patio set and BBQ ($). There’s a an acces to the Lake with small beach just down the street and you will have a Paddleboard at your disposition. Great location for outdoor lovers! Compliance with the house rules described here is an essential condition of the vacation rental agreement. Non-compliance with the above-mentioned rules may result in penalties, including withholding amounts from the security deposit.

Noise and Neighborhood: Please note the importance of keeping quiet and respecting the neighborhood after 10 PM. We reserve the right to retain the entire security deposit in case of excessive noise after 10 PM and/or nighttime disturbances.
Visitors: Any additional overnight visitors must be approved in advance during the booking process and are subject to additional fees as indicated in the price.
Damage and Breakage: Report all damages and breakages to the property manager promptly. Non-compliance may result in penalties deducted from the security deposit. To prevent damages and breakages, furniture should not be moved between rooms without prior agreement.
Compliance: The owner/manager reserves the right to terminate occupancy and expel guests/visitors for non-compliance or disturbing neighbors/residents.

The only downside was that we had to buy wood for the stove at Canadian Tire, since we only had four logs to use. They threaten and blame us for something clearly we didn't do and for which we have proofs as we take videos/photos during check-in/out. Kitchen area does have appliances but no pots/pans and cheap cutlery. 3 rooms (one of them in the basement) with closet space but uncomfortable mattress & loose cots (not beds) 1 bathroom with small sink, kid size toilet with bathtub and shower. Another toilet (just a bigger seat) in the basement laundry room. Basement has a projector and 3x2 seater couch. No window curtains/blinds to minimize the glare so to watch you have to wait till sunset. BBQ and split AC doesn't work. House itself is cozy, perfect for a stay and the location is nice, plenty of grocery stores, restaurants and things to do. Nice place but horribly managed. This is a swiss chalet type of cottage, leveled on 3 floors. The second floor holds a large beautiful living room with the view and the veranda to the mountains. The rear terrace, which is the width of the chalet, is a few meters from the lake and a private dock. BBQ, private spa that can be used year-round, outdoor lounge furniture and patio table for magnificent meals with a splendid view of the lake. It is the ideal place to admire the sunsets. In rainy weather, the living/family room offers the same splendid view, away from the elements.

Blue Bird Chalet is located in Ste Agathe des Monts, about 1 hr north of Montreal. We are on a small lake (Petit Lac Long) with access to a much larger lake (Lac Papineau) 5 min walk away (where you drop your canoe or kayak into if you like). Newly renovated and fully equipped, there are 3 bedrooms (one of which is the entire 2nd floor with a queen and two singles plus a luxurious full bathroom (perfect for a family). We have great internet, all the appliances you need, a propane and charcoal bbq, foosball, darts, video games, Netflix, the list goes on. As well, you have your pick of embarkations! 3 kayaks,2 canoes, 2 SUPs, myriad floaters and big dick to lounge on. A great deck and firepit as well! Finally, even though we are 10min from the town of Ste Agathe des Monts (which makes life very easy), our cittage is on a private road and very quiet!
