The local French-Canadian atmosphere includes 3 bakeries in town (one just for bagels!), a great deli with rare cheeses and European deli offerings, many charming cafés with terrific lunch menus, a genuine microbrewery plus several more places to dine... without even mentioning 4 art galleries plus many shops featuring local art, a cycling club, and a network of mountain hiking trails! Wineries near by, antique shops, Alpaca farms, and so many things to visit...

The house itself situated on a quiet, off-the-main-road location, and features genuine barnwood decor within. There is a stone fireplace, a lovely deck outside to catch the fresh mountain air. Firewood is always available, included in the package.

The kitchen is well equipped for fine cooking, with good quality pots and pans, and even a crockpot for après-ski dining ready when you get back from the ski-hills! Fondue instead? What is a ski chalet without one? Yes, raclette too!

If anything is missing, the host lives upstairs and will be happy to share things like a Kitchen-aid mixer, or a Vitamix blender... but you'll have your own Nespresso coffee-maker with some complimentary coffee pods and milk frother all for yourself.
