- "The house was stocked with the essentials like tin foil, plastic wrap, towels, wash clothes, hand towels, trash bags, and they had dishes in there with a dishwasher. You couldn't even do your laundry if you wanted to, which we ended up using and was fabulous. So we came home with clean clothes instead of a huge amount of dirty clothes. The owners were very very helpful, we had an issue with one of the AC units and they replaced it as well as any other questions I may have had. They were quick to respond and get back to me. Oh, if you're interested in fishing, there is a private lake right nearby where you can fish without having a license in New York, which is awesome. We took advantage of that every day. Almost after dinner. I would go back again. I really like to layout of the house. And they made us feel welcome without even being there it was amazing. 10/10 rating. Thank you again for a great visit. There is no smart TVs, but they do have cable. I was able to find that out in advance that they didn't have a smart TVs so I brought our Roku to stream shows."

Fish cabin has one Queen Bedroom and a Queen sleeper sofa in the living room. This cabin can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children maximum. The sleeper sofa can accommodate less than 120 pounds for sleeping purposes. Please do not book this cabin if your group exceeds our capacity.

Fish has a fully stocked kitchen including spices, dishes, utensils, pots, pans, teapot, blender, microwave, gas stove, refrigerator/freezer, toaster, drip and Keurig coffee machines. Towels and linens are provided. Fish has a Smart TV and all of the comforts and amenities of home provided in Adirondack decor.

Each of the 4 cabins has their own fire pit, Adirondack Chairs, picnic table, grill on their lawn. The cabins are approximately 25 feet from the next with trees separating them. Guests can enjoy our private beach and dock and use any of our 7 boats to partake in fishing or just enjoy the beautiful lake.

Fish Cabin is about 300 feet from Lake Colby and is not along the shore of the lake, but does have access to our beach, boats and dock. Fish cabin has it's own charcoal grill, picnic table and Fire pit outside as well as a smoker. Each of the 4 cabins on the property are approximately 25 feet from the next with trees separating them.

During boating season, guests can enjoy our private beach and dock and use any of our seven boats: 2 row boats, 2 canoes, 2 full size kayaks and a child size kayak. Lake Colby is known for it's excellent fishing of : rainbow and brown trout, salmon, largemouth and smallmouth bass. Maximum 10 hp motors can be used on this lake. Boating is available on our property between May1st and October 31st unless water temperatures are unsafe.

Lake Colby is part of the greater Saranac Lake Community which offers many tourist attractions, including hiking, snow skiing, zip lines, golf and amazing food. This cabin is also a two minute walk to the public beach and a one minute drive to the boat launch.

The Village of Saranac Lake boasts wonderful Eateries, Pubs and Coffee Shops. Colby Cabins are a 2 minute drive from Mt. Pisgah where the whole family can enjoy downhill skiing, tubing and snow boarding on lit trails. Saranac Lake is surrounded by some of the most scenic hiking trails on the East Coast.

Let us know if you wish to book one, two or three or four cabins. Check-in and Check-out are not allowed on Saturdays from the third week of June to the first week of September.

The cabin is located on the busiest street in the Adirondacks. You'll hear some traffic noise during the day but it quiets down in the evening and overnight. You'll be within easy walking distance of restaurants, nightlife, grocery and liquor stores, parks, and more. But, if you want a secluded cabin in the woods, this one isn't for you!

The space
While the Daybreak room is located at the ADK Trail Inn, this listing rents it as a separate room. Room service is not included (although we are happy to collect trash and provide fresh towels upon request.). If we are serving breakfast to our Inn guests, you're welcome to join us for an additional $5 per person per day.

Your room and bathroom is completely private. You'll also have access to a lovely shared living room with a wood-burning fireplace (seasonal) and five acres of property to explore and enjoy. Play a rousing game of pingpong or pool in our game room, roast marshmallows over the nightly bonfire (seasonal) or take a dip in the Ausable River.

During your stay
If you arrive during office hours, our staff will greet you and show you to your room. Otherwise, you'll receive instructions on a self-checkin. We are available by phone 24 hours a day and have staff onsite as well to address any questions or concerns.

Located just 6 minutes from Whiteface Ski Center and 17 minutes from Lake Placid, this cozy 1.5 bedroom single wide manufactured home can comfortably sleep 3-4 people. This house is in close proximity to many activities that the area has to offer throughout the year, such as skiing, swimming, boating, hiking, and more!

Located in a quiet area. This is perfect for single travelers, one or two couples, or families with children.

The master bedroom sleeps two, there is a pull-out sofa in the living room which sleeps two, and there is a foldaway bed that sleeps one in a separate room that serves as a half bedroom. For those sleeping in the living room, there is a door for privacy.

We can accommodate three people sleeping individually, and up to five people if sharing bed(s).

The Ice Jam Inn rents single rooms as well as full inn rentals. There is one master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and four bedrooms that share a hallway bathroom. There is no full kitchen for guest use. The sitting room has a smart TV, full fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. We have an on-site restaurant open dinner hours. There is a breakfast/lunch place within walking distance, Adirondack Mountain Coffee.

The Ice Jam Inn is an Adirondack house that was built in 1860. Enjoy the rustic charm and modern amenities. 250 feet of the East Branch of the east branch of the Ausable River runs through the property. We are located 6 miles from Whiteface Mountain and 6 miles from Keene, NY (Home of the High Peaks), 15 miles to Lake Placid. Like us on social media.

Please enjoy our large wrap-around porch and private riverfront access. There is a firepit surrounded by Adirondack chairs in the backyard. There is a path to the river directly across the road from the house.

The space
Our property is a studio apartment within a building that we own and manage. It is a quiet community of adults only, who live work and play in the Lake Placid / Saranac Lake community. Our studio is clean and comfortable, and offers these amenities: Fully stocked kitchen, 2 person eating table, plush queen bed, Roku or streaming wifi TV, Free Wifi, bath towels, linens, pillows and blankets. There is a pay-laundry facility at the lower level. We provide parking without charge. There is a parking space that we have dedicated to our AirBnb guests, just outside the front entrance of the building (see check-in details); only one step is required, at the front door, to enter the building and the apartment. If snow or other obstacles provide a challenge to that spot, we have virtually unlimited parking below and outside our common entrance into the Laundry room at the basement level, with stairs to the first floor (Suite 7 is located here). We have on-site management and maintenance if any concerns should rise. a However, we do not offer hotel amenities such as front-desk, pool, fitness room, bar or on -site food service, etc. We are in walking distance to stores and convenience shops. The new Adirondack Rail Trail is located just below the property, easily accessible, and offers travelers exceptional hiking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, mountain biking. the trail runs from Lake Placid to Tupper Lake.

Parking at our building is on-site and free of charge. We have dedicated a space to our AirBnb guests, at the front left corner of the building, very close to the main entrance. There is a professional sign that indicates "Reserved for Suite 7" on the corner of the building (please see check in details). The area is walkable, with access to convenience stores and restaurants. Lake Flower is 4/10 of a mile by foot or car. There is a former railroad line that has just been converted into a multi-use rail trail, located just to the East of the property.

Other things to note
We are proud to offer excepationally value-priced accommodations for short or longer term stays. We are clean and comfy, and offer a quiet community to enjoy a part of during your stay. We do not allow parties or groups larger than 2 persons, and no visitors will be admitted to the building. Guests must acknowledge that : 1) this is a studio apartment and that studio apartments by definition are one room and a bath. they are not large. this is not large. it is a studio apartment. please expert what you see in the pictures, which clearly shows the space. those renting a studio apartment should not expect something larger. If a one room studio is too small we can help you locate a multi room suite cabin or home rental that better fits your needs. 2) that there are multiple units in the building and that quiet yours are 10pm to 9am, and that respectful noise or activity levels are expected at all times, regardless of day or night. a couple of guests have mentioned on occasion hearing the sound of a toilet flushing from the unit above. this is not uncommon in older buildings with older plumbing. if this is true even though we haven't been able to catch the sound personally, this shouldn't overwhelmingly disturb your stay. we just want to warn you in case you have an aversion to the sound of water coming down a pipe on occasion. We are able to offer our inexpensive pricing becuase we are not a hotel or resort. Please note the amenities list presented in this listing. There are pay laundry machines in the basement level, they do require to download an app to operate- the company that operates them requires a $10 minimum pay in to the app to use them, we apologize for any inconvenience that this may cuase those on shorter term stays, however, they have not offered us a solution suitable for one-time users. Out of respect for others in the building, we do not accept pets, thank you!

Split Rock is a brand new 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath apartment in the desirable Hillcrest neighborhood in Lake Placid. The Great Room has the living room, dining area and large open fully equipped kitchen. Off the Great Room is your private deck with gas grill and table and chairs. There is a home office. There is a half bath off the master bedroom plus a full bath with full sized washer and dryer. Off street parking for two cars. Walk to Main Street where the shops and restaurants are located.

The space
The apartment is very close to Main Street but is in a quiet neighborhood. The appliances and home office space are perfect for extended stays.

You willl have personal private use of the full Split Rock apartment and deck. The only shared area is the driveway/parking area.
