Our house is spacious at 1500 sq ft! We're thrilled to offer fantastic value for large groups. However, it's important to note that we have just one bathroom, located on the second floor. While we've designed our space to accommodate your needs comfortably, please keep in mind that sharing one bathroom can be a consideration for larger groups.
NO ACCESS TO BACKYARD:
Please note that our property comes with a wonderful indoor space for your enjoyment. However, we'd like to inform you that access to the backyard is not available as it belongs to our next-door neighbors. If you have any questions or need recommendations for nearby outdoor activities, feel free to ask.
PARKING:
We offer the convenience of dedicated parking right beside our neighbor's house, allowing space for two cars free of charge. In addition, you'll find more free parking options available across the street on the west side

- "As the saying goes dont judge a book by the cover altgough sometimes you can't pass the book cover. I will say the interior of the apartment was very nice, but the outside was very sketchy as garbage was in the stairway and it dark and dingy. The host provide no information on how to gain access to the buliding and only after calling VRBO did he finally provide us anything. Even with keypad code we still add no idea how to get in as the front of the building has no keypad. After going to the back of the building a family was very helpful in letting us know that the back is for the rental ynit. "

The Inn sits just north of Second St. on Adolphus St. which is neatly located within walking distance to the core downtown restaurants and amenities.

- ACCESS: Keys are not required. We use a smart lock which can be conveniently operated with your smartphone (Android and Apple apps available) for access to the building. There are also keypad locks on each bedroom door. Upon booking, you will receive a request from “August” to download the application as well as access codes for the outside doors and bedroom door(s). YOUR ACCESS WILL BE REVOKED AT THE ORIGINAL CHECK OUT TIME. Please make sure to take all your belongings with you before exiting at check out to avoid being locked out. Please keep outside doors locked at all times.
- SECURITY CAMERAS: For the safety of our guests and premises, security cameras are located on the exterior of the building only. Impeding the function or visibility of any of the cameras in any way, including but not limited to covering the cameras, unplugging them or moving them, is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. A FINE OF $250 WILL APPLY IF THE FUNCTION AND/OR VISIBILITY OF ANY OF THE CAMERAS IS IMPEDED IN ANY WAY.
- MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY / VISITORS: We ask that you kindly respect our maximum occupancy set out in the listing. Visitors are permitted outside of quiet hours only. Should more guests or visitors be present during quiet hours without prior written approval, A FINE OF $50 PER ADDITIONAL GUEST/VISITOR PER DAY WILL APPLY.
- EVENTS / PARTIES: The inn is a fantastic location for personal and professional events. We have hosted retreats, wedding parties, masterminds, birthdays, etc. While we welcome our guests using the inn for such events outside of quiet times, loud rumbunctious parties are not permitted. If you are unsure if your function would be acceptable, feel free to reach out to us.
- PARKING: There is a private lot at the back of the building which can accommodate up to 9 vehicles. If booking only one room, you may occupy only one parking space. Should you require more parking, please inquire and we will do our best to accommodate. Street parking is also available, please obey posted signage.
- PETS: The comfort of our guests is our first priority. For that reason, we ask that you not bring your pets. We cannot risk or deny the health of those who suffer from allergies. If bringing your pet with you is unavoidable, please let us know, we have some excellent pet boarding businesses in Cornwall and would be happy to provide you with contacts. Should pets be brought to the property, we will be required to thoroughly clean the inn, which is quite costly. Therefore, A REMEDIATION FEE OF $500 WILL APPLY SHOULD PETS BE BROUGHT TO ANY PART OF THE PROPERTY.
- SMOKING: Smoking is absolutely prohibited, including but not limited to cigarettes, pipes, hookah pipes, marijuana, e-cigarettes or vaping devices. You are welcome to smoke in the backyard, within a distance of at least 9 meters from all doors and windows. We ask that you use the provided cans / ashtrays for disposal. We consider smoking indoors or near doors/windows to inherently cause damage. We also do not permit anything smelling of stale smoke to enter the inn. - ELECTRONICS: The Wi-Fi Password will be provided to you upon booking and is also posted throughout the Inn. Please don’t share this password with non-guests. Netflix is available for your convenience. If you have any questions regarding its operation, please don't hesitate to ask us!
- SAFETY: Fire Extinguishers are located on each floor. Please memorize their locations in case you need them: The ground floor unit is located in the coat closet at the front of the Inn. The upstairs unit is in the hall closet at the top of the stairs. A first aid kit is located in the kitchen. If you use a fire extinguisher or supplies from the first aid kit PLEASE advise us so we can replenish them. If emergency services are required, please contact us as soon as it is safe to do so AFTER having contacted the appropriate authorities. If you don’t, our neighbours will – we would prefer to hear from you first.
- MAINTENANCE: If something breaks or stops working, please contact us right away. We are quite resourceful and can typically get things fixed very quickly.
- SHOES: Please remove all outdoor shoes upon entering the inn.
- FOOD: Please use the dining area for any food consumption. Eating in the bedrooms and living room is not permitted.

Wonderful Mid-Century Brick 2-Storey home on Old Orchard St in Cornwall, ON. The home is very close to the many amenities of downtown, including Lamoureux Park, Cineplex Movie Theater, Many Dining Establishments, and more!
Our place was recently renovated to the lovely finished products that you see in the photos in the listing. Hardwood and ceramic tile floors throughout. The walls have been painted a lovely yellow which tons of natural light bounces off of into the home and gives a light and airy upbeat feel.
This listing is for the home as a whole and provides access to the entire property. There are 2 bedrooms on the second floor and the washroom. On the ground floor you find a third bedroom, the living room, kitchen, and dining area. The back yard is enclosed and houses a large picnic table for you to dine outdoors. The basement is also available for the laundry facilities.

Old Orchard St is a desirable area in Cornwall. In yesteryear doctors and the like once lived here, but with the moving of the hospital they too have moved on, but the grand feel and aesthetic of the street still remains.
There are plenty of means of transportation for the area. Biking, Walking, Buses, Taxi, and Mass Transit are all available for your needs. Bus stops are close by for easy access.

The bedroom has a queen sized bed. There is also a flat screen TV with an Apple tv box.
The kitchen/dinning area has a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, necessary kitchen utensils to prepare meals and a table with chairs.
Bathroom has a bath tub/shower with hot water and good water pressure.
Guest access
This basement apartment has it's own private access via the rear of the house. A spacious shared backyard with patio furniture, which guests are welcome to use. There is a private bathroom and kitchen as well.
Other things to note
There is no cable TV, but an Apple Tv box guest can sign into their own accounts on, or guests can connect their laptop devices to the TV via HDMI cable.
There is a BBQ on the property which guests may use if they bring their own propane, or let the owner know in advance of their stay to use his tank if it's available for an additional fee.
In winter, no street parking overnight, so must park in driveway. When there is snow, plow will come remove the snow in the driveway, but guests must use the shovel outside the front door to clear the snow on the entrance path.

Nestled in a quiet north end Cornwall neighbourhood, just around the corner from the Ontario Hockey Academy and within close proximity to all city amenities (sports facilities, big box stores and restaurants). My home is 3 kilometres south of the 401, 3 kilometres north of the USA border and 25 minutes west of the Quebec/Ontario border.

The BASEMENT space is yours in a self-contained unit. I live upstairs. The unit includes a large living area, two bedrooms, a kitchenette and bathroom. The back deck and yard are a great addition to the home and are welcome for your use.

While we strive to maintain a peaceful environment, you may occasionally hear sounds from upstairs. We do allow early check ins & late check outs for a maximum of 2 hours at $25/hour. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but please note that it cannot be guaranteed as it depends on the departure time of previous guests and the cleaning schedule.
PET RULES:
This unit is PET friendly. If you are highly allergic to pets, we recommend you booking a unit that is Pet free. 2 pets max. $40 per pet per stay. No pet on furniture. Pet should not be left unattended. Please pick up pet waste.

This is a basement unit, completely separate entrance and parking spot. Beautiful large backyard that will be shared with upstairs guests.
Other things to note
The pillows and the bedding for the futon are located in the drawers of the futon. The comforter for it is located in the bedroom closet. When pulling out the futon please pull it away from the wall so it doesn’t hit the wall, and pull from the bottom to lay it flat. Please leave all extra bedding out so we are aware if it’s been used and can wash it.

We have 1 window Air Conditioning in the bedroom and 1 fan. Please open door to bedroom to allow AC to cool the entire unit.
The unit is small ( 350 square feet, so one AC unit should cool it entirely. Turn on fan for additional cooling option)
