Hello and welcome to my Vermont retreat! Please come in, make yourself comfortable, and relax.

When you choose my home, you'll be in a wonderful location. In one direction, you are just minutes down the road from ski heaven - Killington and Pico Mountains! Great skiing and snowboarding, lots of mountain activities for the whole family. Turn the other way, and you're just down the road from cute & historic Rutland. Plus you'll find an abundance of hiking all around. Either way, you’ll find tons of great outdoor activities, and lots of local shops and restaurants.

My house is a ranch style single family home, sitting conveniently right on the main road for quick travel.

Inside the home, you'll find 2 cozy bedrooms, each with:
*super comfortable queen mattresses
*sturdy frames (one bedroom is wood, one is metal)
*2 types of pillows for different types of sleepers.
*closet with hangers
*luggage rack
*nightstands with built-in USB ports

The bathroom has been recently updated and has:
* tub/shower combo
* Plenty of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash
* Plenty of towels
* Hand soap
* Starter pack of toilet paper
* also a hair dryer and a straightener for anyone who forgets to pack theirs as often as I forget to pack mine!

The large, well-stocked kitchen allows for many home cooked meals!

* Griddle pan
* Plenty of kitchen utensils and silverware
*Toaster
* Drip coffee machine that can do a big pot or a single cup (no k-cups), and stocked with coffee beans, coffee grinder, sugar, and also hot green tea packets.

* Please note, there is no dishwasher.

The living room has a roomy 3 seat sofa, plus two additional arm chairs. A large coffee table is perfect for having drinks after a fulfilling day, but also plenty of room for games with the family and friends. The smart TV is loaded with apps for you to log into your own Netflix account & etc, but I also provide free access to Disney Plus and Peacock for tons of great shows and movies to watch.

And for those working from home, you'll be glad to find a private office space as well, with a good sized desk and comfy office chair.

The office area is also a bonus 3rd bedroom! There is a daybed set up with a twin mattress, perfect for your kiddo or anyone who needs a single bed to sleep, or just as a room to relax and chill out privately.

It is right on Rte 4, but we didn't notice much traffic noise at all. Lots of room, good kitchen, washer/dryer. We will definitely look to stay there in the future. Updated 2 bedroom home in Mendon, VT. Convenient location as it is six minutes from Pico, ten minutes from Rutland, and thirteen minutes to Killington.

I spent years trying to find child & dog-friendly places to stay and be able go to the mountains to ski/snowboard. Now I’m sharing my child and dog-friendly place with others so they can vacation with their beloved dogs and children. (While I like cats, my husband is deathly allergic so we cannot have them in the home.)

The house has everything you'd need for a comfortable mountain holiday, including dog bowls if you forgot yours and toys for your children to play with in case you can't pack any. If your dog is destructive, slobbers, or sheds, we ask that you crate the dog when you leave the home to keep them off the furniture. Please, do not let your pets on the couch.

We also recommend snow tires, or 4-wheel drive as there is a small hill to drive up to get to the house. Finally, be careful as it is on the main highway.

- "Went to Vermont to see family for the week but they have a small home, so we would need a few hotel rooms to accommodate the four of us & two small service dogs. After doing the math for three hotel rooms for four nights, renting a house was a no brainer. Yes, I found places that were less money but they were half the size and many more miles away from our family we came up to visit. This listing was just four miles away from Dad’s place & had so much room both inside & out. Plenty of bedrooms, we each had a bathroom and the spacious layout gave us space needed after a 20 hour road trip from Florida. If we had more time & the weather was not as rainy, we would have had a fire in the pit set up outside and may have tried the hot tub as well. It’s a great location just up the street from shopping and restaurants, even our favorite Sugar & Spice breakfast/lunch place almost a stones throw from the house. The check in was easy & my favorite part was how private the property is as well as all the natural light as you are surrounded by nature. I have no negatives about the place & would definitely stay again. Thank you so much for renting out your home. A former Inn, remodeled to include modern comforts, minutes from Killington Resort and Pico Mountain. Amazing hiking, biking and snowshoeing out back door, with numerous restaurants, bars and activities a short drive away.

The Ruby room is brimming with antiques. The queen-sized bed is secluded in a sleeping alcove. Take some extra time in the private sitting room for two, and linger with a long soak in the washroom's authentic clawfoot tub.

This room is located upstairs in the main Inn. You have access to a shared living room with fireplace and dining room, with fridge, microwave and Kuerig Coffee maker. The Red Clover Inn is currently not offering food and beverage service and the commercial kitchen/restaurant is closed off to guests.

By choosing to stay with us, you acknowledge that the Red Clover Inn is not responsible for temperature fluctuations or availability due to guest usage or weather-related factors. You will not seek an any partial refund for usability of the hot tub.

SECURITY DEPOSIT: We require a refundable security deposit of $300 per individual room. A hold will be placed 2 days before check-in and released 5 days after check-out. We reserve the right to withhold the Security Deposit after expiration or termination of Guest’s tenancy, and to deduct from the Security Deposit costs for extraordinary expenses or damages including, but not limited to, damage to the property, loss and/or misuse of personal property, excessive laundry and/or cleaning, or staining/damage to linens, towels, rugs, or furniture. Lost or unreturned keys constitute damages and will incur a $180 replacement and administrative charge. Lock-outs are $150. If expenses and/or damages exceed the amount of the Security Deposit, Guest shall be required to pay additional fees to restore our property to its pre-rental condition within ten (10) days of your receipt of additional billing.

PET POLICY: We LOVE dogs and recognize their importance to our families. That being said, some of our rooms can accommodate a max of two non-aggressive-breed dogs for an extra $75 dollars per day up to $150/dog/stay fee to cover wear and tear only in our Farmhouse and King Carriage House Suites. Pet is NOT allowed in the MAIN INN.
The pet fee does not cover damage done by the dog. Dogs must be well-behaved and are not allowed on furniture (please bring a dog bed for convenience). Dogs must be crated if left home alone and we highly recommend they be leashed when outside. Our proximity to the woods allows for the possibility of wild animals nearby. Please be courteous of other guests and pick up after your dog. No cats allowed. Please have your pet vaccination papers sent to us before arrival.

What one guest may find perfectly comfortable, another may consider unusable. While we strive to maintain the hot tub for enjoyment, access and optimal conditions cannot be guaranteed. By choosing to stay with us, you acknowledge that the Red Clover Inn is not responsible for temperature fluctuations or availability due to guest usage or weather-related factors. You will not seek an any partial refund for usability of the hot tub.

SECURITY DEPOSIT: We require a refundable security deposit of $300 per individual room. A hold will be placed 2 days before check-in and released 5 days after check-out. We reserve the right to withhold the Security Deposit after expiration or termination of Guest’s tenancy, and to deduct from the Security Deposit costs for extraordinary expenses or damages including, but not limited to, damage to the property, loss and/or misuse of personal property, excessive laundry and/or cleaning, or staining/damage to linens, towels, rugs, or furniture. Lost or unreturned keys constitute damages and will incur a $180 replacement and administrative charge. Lock-outs are $150. If expenses and/or damages exceed the amount of the Security Deposit, Guest shall be required to pay additional fees to restore our property to its pre-rental condition within ten (10) days of your receipt of additional billing.

PET POLICY: We LOVE dogs and recognize their importance to our families. That being said, some of our rooms can accommodate a max of two non-aggressive-breed dogs for an extra $75 dollars per day up to $150/dog/stay fee to cover wear and tear only in our Farmhouse and King Carriage House Suites. Pet is NOT allowed in the MAIN INN.
The pet fee does not cover damage done by the dog. Dogs must be well-behaved and are not allowed on furniture (please bring a dog bed for convenience). Dogs must be crated if left home alone and we highly recommend they be leashed when outside. Our proximity to the woods allows for the possibility of wild animals nearby. Please be courteous of other guests and pick up after your dog. No cats allowed. Please have your pet vaccination papers sent to us before arrival.
