- "We had a great time at this property. Check-in was super easy and we had no issues with the property or neighborhood. We did however find that we could not adjust the thermostat and I've never encountered that before. It was fine the first 5 days, but on our last day it was unseasonably warm outside (had been cold the entire time before this). Due to the warmth outside, the inside of the property left us sweating and extremely uncomfortable as the thermostat was left on heat and we could not change it as it was locked. Thankfully it was our last night and the previous days were so cold that it never became uncomfortable. Also, the upstairs occupants did not sleep at night the entire time we were there so we heard stomping at all hours. We ended up purchasing a fan to sleep with to help drown out the noise. Other than those two small issues, the property was perfect and had everything you could think of. Will stay here again if I find myself in the area."

-Exterior video/audio security camera always ON viewing driveway and one viewing the front door. No other camera on premises. Cameras are not monitored for guest safety in any way and should not be relied on by guests.

-A limited supply of shampoo, toilet papers, paper towels, dish detergent, hand soap and trash bags will be provided. If you need additional supplies during your stay. Stop and Shop, and convenience stores are located less than 5 min away.

Please remember that you're staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP. Owners reside on site.

The property owners maintain a clean and up to date home. The kitchen is stocked with every cup, dish, pot, pan and gizmo you'll need and the grill is large enough to prepare dinner for a family. Both second floor bedrooms and the full bath (complete with washer and dryer) are clean and comfortable, with the master BR offering a view of the lake. We were concerned that there would be a lot of boat traffic, being near the public boat launch. The house has 6 rented bedrooms. Most of my guests are young professionals here for internships, medical residencies, or short-term jobs (usually for 2 or 3 months). The neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet.

PLEASE NOTE: This Howse is old, but it has been renovated and sometimes you can hear the noise from other rooms' stairs and squeaky floors

It's got hardwoods throughout the entrance and stairs, the room has carpet.

This room faces back, and it's quiet. It has an AC unit in the window and hot water heat. I gently ask that you turn the AC OFF when you leave the house for the day.

Each room has its own lock/key set.

Guest access
This room is on the second floor. 1 more guest has access to the shared bathroom. We don't have a kitchen, but on the first floor, we have a microwave to warm up the food.

PLEASE NOTE: there is no sink to wash dishes, we provide plastic plates and cups.
I have separate food storage areas for each guest, and there is 1 refrigerator on the first floor.

This house has 6 rented bedrooms, and most of my guests are in the city to work. Worcester isn’t exactly a vacation destination. I have a lot of travel nurses who stay here, as well as medical students in the city, for rotations.

As I’ve noted in other sections of my listing description, there are no TVs in the house. If you bring a TV with you, then bring headphones. It’s keeping the space quiet for everyone, not restricting your activities.

Note: Air conditioning is available only in the months when the outside temperature is constant during the day and night, as it is a window air conditioner, but we have a fan on the ceiling to cool the room during the day and heat the night. This usually happens in the month of May and at the end of summer in autumn. We do not have parking on the property, you will have to park on the street. We are located on a very busy street you may hear noise from cars. The apartment is shared, you will have your private room but you will have to share the common areas. Visitors are not allowed and parties are prohibited

Our location offers convenient proximity to various institutions and attractions. The UMass Medical School is just a 12-minute drive away, while the Tufts Veterinary School and Center for Mindfulness can be reached within 15 minutes. If you're interested in skiing, the Wachusett Mountain Ski Resort is a mere 30 minutes away. For those looking to explore the vibrant city life, downtown Boston and Harvard University are approximately an hour's drive. The renowned WPI (Worcester Polytechnic Institute) is only 7 minutes away, making our apartment an ideal choice for visitors to the institute.

Please note that our apartment is situated on a busy street, so there may be some noise from passing cars. We recommend keeping this in mind if you are sensitive to sounds.
