Winter, spring, summer, or fall, you'll delight in the beautiful woodland setting of this cabin in Plymouth, ideally situated a short drive from world-class ski slopes, sparkling lakes, and some of the prettiest foliage you've ever seen.

This peaceful cabin is tucked into the forest less than eight miles southeast of Killington Ski Area (and even closer to the Skyeship Base Lodge). Here along the chain of lakes, Pico Mountain and Okemo Mountain are within a 15-mile drive while state parks, state forests, and scenic hiking trails await in every direction.

Walls of windows and multiple skylights seem to bring the woods into the living space. At the heart of the house is a two-sided, stacked-stone hearth, with a woodstove to warm you as you stream movies on the living room TV, share meals at the dining room table, or pull up a chair to the desk area to catch up on a few emails. In the pristine summer months, you'll have use of a back deck that runs the length of the house with a gas grill and a picnic table for alfresco meals.

I think one of the best feature the apartment has is the boots and gloves warmer. You won't have to go back to the slopes the next day with wet boots.

The fireplace is electric. We aren't allowed to use the chimney anymore due to some regulations in the building so we installed an electric one and it really sets the mood.

The couch is huge. Amazing couch.

The kitchen its complete. With cooking utensils, pots and pans. Even an airfrier. You will find a lot of different spices and plenty of coffee, tea and sugar.

Right now they fixing the outside of the building. Making everything prettier. For now you won't have access to the balcony. I have plenty of spices to cook with.

The space
We are one of the few local dog-friendly spots on the mountain. One dog lives on property and dogs are welcome with you. Since Covid the need for dog care has increased and there may be additional dogs staying on property for boarding or daycare. All dogs are vetted for compatibility and required to be friendly with dogs and people. Your dog is welcome to play and join the group, or hang in your private area. Guests with allergies may wish to look elsewhere.

The queen room has its own TV with an Amazon fire stick so you can login to your accounts and stream content as you relax.

There is one-flight of stairs to access the unit.

Please note for summer bookings there is no AC. This is usually fine in VT and rooms have ceiling fans.

Access is provided from 8am-10pm to shared living room and dining room. Kitchen is reserved for owner. A coffee station is available with coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. Wood burning fireplace for winter. Two covered porches with a hammock and grill for summer.

During your stay
I live on property and am available for local recommendations, dog walking/supervision, breakfast, etc. I do bartend/serve some evenings and may not always be available, but am always a text away.

Other things to note
If there is not another guest checking in on your departure day, you are welcome to leave your belongings while you ski and come back to change before driving home. So, late check out at 4/5pm.

Perched high on a hill near the ridge of the mountain and surrounded by trees, this home boasts one of the best views in the area, especially when the ground is blanketed in snow! Head into the well-equipped, full kitchen to brew up your morning coffee or prepare your favorite cost-saving lunches and dinners. Dine together or bring a few board games to the adjacent table with plenty of bench seating, or simply settle into the living area to stream your favorite channels on the TV.
