The only issue was that even though we were given an accessible room (none of require accessibility option), the light switches were low, but everything else was quite high. The coat rack was very high, so even my shorter friend needed my help putting their coat up. My house is located at the center of Central Square in Cambridge, a 20-minute walk to Harvard and MIT. 7 minutes walk to the Red Line subway station( Central Station)

Whole Foods grocery is just 5 minutes away, shops and restaurants, City Hall, banks, and post office are all within walking distance.

Subway and buses are nearby to go to Boston and the surrounding towns. My street is safe and one-way with very little traffic at night so you will have a quiet environment for a good night's sleep.

This Queen-size bedroom suite is located away from other bedrooms in the house, offering privacy from other rooms in the house. Your child between 6-18 is welcome to stay in the bedroom with you for free. There is a single-size airbed for him or her. It is not for an unrelated adult.

Owner Wendy lives on the third floor, away from the guest bedrooms. There is another guest bedroom suite on the 2nd floor, not connected to your bedroom.

My house was an old gem built in 1854, I renovated it in 2005 and won a Preservation Award from the office of the Historial Commission of the City of Cambridge.

My house is located at the center of Central Square in Cambridge, a 20-minute walk to Harvard and MIT. 7 minutes walk to the Red Line subway station( Central Station)

Whole Foods grocery is just 5 minutes away, shops and restaurants, City Hall, banks, and post office are all within walking distance.

This king-size bedroom suite offers privacy from other rooms in the house.

Owner Wendy lives on the top floor, away from the guest bedrooms. There is another guest bedroom suite at the other end of the 2nd floor, not connected to your bedroom.

The first floor is a spacious area containing the kitchen, living room, and dining room that are shared with the owner and other guests. It is a common area for cooking, dining, and mingling with the owner and other guests.

You will enjoy the private bedroom suites on the 2nd floor and share the kitchen, living room, and dining room on the first floor.

The bathroom has a jetted bathtub for a busy day trip. A 55-inches TV, a dresser, a couch, and a small working desk and walk-in closet for your convenience. Your child between 6-18 is welcome to stay in the bedroom with you for free. There is a single-size airbed for him or her. It is not for an unrelated adult.

There is an outside deck by the bedroom hallway with a table and chairs for relaxing and viewing the street scenes.

There is also an outside deck by the kitchen area on the first floor with a table and seats for breakfast or lunch.

Two parking spaces are available for guests in the backyard and a guest parking permit on the streets.

Subway and buses are nearby to go to Boston and surrounding towns. My street is safe and one-way with very little traffic at night so you will have a quiet environment for a good night's sleep.

You will use a lock box to get inside the front door. The passcode to the lockbox will be given to you after booking. There are two sets of keys for the front and back doors and the bedroom. There is also a chain lock inside the bedroom.

You will receive a welcome letter via your personal email about 10 days prior your check-in date, it will inform you with the passcode to the lockbox.

The location is near the intersection of Kinnaird St. and Jay St. in Cambridge MA, so if you have questions about distances, use your mapping app to check the distance from that intersection. We are an 8-minute walk to the Red Line metro station at Central Square.

My cancellation policy is as fair as can be: if you cancel, I will issue a refund for all nights that get booked by somebody else. Contact me after your dates have passed to see if someone else took the dates. (Don't bother to contact me sooner than that). This spacious, light-filled one-bedroom apartment accommodates four adults plus one infant. (Queen bed, queen sofabed, pack-n-play.)

The kitchen is large, and stocked with silverware, plates, bowls, glasses, pots and pans. It has a gas range, and solid granite countertops.

Parking is on the public street, but it's very easy to find a spot right in front of the house. You'll find the parking permit on the table when you arrive. The permit is for any car, even if you do not have local license plates. Be sure the permit is visible on the driver's side dashboard.

The bedroom is private and very quiet. There is also a pack-n-play for babies. (This is a portable baby bed / playpen.) There is a full-length mirror on the back of the closet door, and there are two portable makeup mirrors.

The living room has lots of light and a nice backyard view. There is a queen sleeper sofa. A standard queen mattress is 60" x 80", while this sofabed's mattress is 60" x 72".

There is a $40 nightly charge for each guest beyond two.

The bathroom is gorgeous, filled with light and style.

You have your own large, high-quality front-loading washing machine and clothes dryer, which you can use at no additional cost. I provide detergent, and there's an iron and ironing board, too.

You also have a wireless laserjet printer/scanner. But unless you let me know in advance that you need to use the printer, I cannot guarantee that the ink cartridge will work, since it is used rarely and the ink might dry out.

In the living room, there is a 55" 4K TV (TCL Roku), connected to an Xfinity cable modem. We have absolutely no idea how it works and cannot provide technical support. Links to the user’s manual and quickstart guide are provided below.

Check-in is after 4pm, and check-out is by 10am. Early check-in and late check-out are generally not possible, but feel free to leave your luggage in the basement bulkhead next to your entryway (careful on the stairs!).

The backyard is not intended for guests but if you contact me in advance I can make an exception and reserve it for you. We use the backyard when you're not using it. It's full of flowers and is a lovely place to hang out.

- "The place worked super well for our group of 4. It is a small place - solid for 4 but would get tight beyond that. The pool was not open for the season but the space looked like it would be pretty nice. The apartment had basic equipment and some starter supplies - coffee K cups etc. It is a compact place so I would not plan on making an elaborate dinner in house. All the stuff is there, but logistics could be tricky. The location was fantastic. Steps from the T which makes getting around Boston super easy. Owner wanted to communicate using an app I don’t use. That made some aspects of the Checkin a little complicated. My daughter had the app so we were able to sort things out eventually."
