This sweet Lake Champlain cottage is a wonderful retreat for a romantic getaway or small family vacation! Nestled in the trees, this craftsman built cottage is a perfect getaway spot. Tucked in the corner of a large family estate, this cozy cottage's private yard meets over 200 feet of direct frontage on the western shore of Lake Champlain.

While small in size, you'll be impressed by the smart design of this cottage. The vaulted timber ceiling in the master bedroom loft is lovely. The wraparound wall of windows in the 3 season room gives the expanded open living and dining area a sunny, spacious feel. .The kitchen doesn't cut any corners: you'll find a gas range, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, fridge with freezer, and all the pots and pans you need to prepare meals. Kitchen and living area are one cozy room. Downstairs, the guest room/den has 2 twin beds.

Private year-round cottage on Lake Champlain (Mallets Bay), a 10:00 drive to downtown Burlington and area colleges. You will be treated to glorious panoramic lake views, with an open-floor plan, fully equipped kitchen, outdoor grill - Cabana bar and beach fire pit. The world-class Colchester Causeway bike path is just minutes outside our door. Sleeps 4-6 with a queen-size bed in the upstairs open-loft, a full-size bed in the downstairs bedroom, and a full-size sleeper sofa in the living room. Relaxation is pretty much guaranteed. Great fishing just steps out our door. Enjoy all four seasons that Vermont has to offer! We are pet friendly (one dog only, no cats). The cottage is located in a quiet community that we treasure. Because of this, we limit the number of guest that stay, and require that all of the Mills Point Association Rules are followed, including leashed dogs, parking regulations and no loud parties.

Other things to note; We now have a new heating system.
We have a keyless touchscreen deadbolt on the front door, so you won't have to worry about carrying a key. This gives you the option of arriving late at night or at another time where we can't meet you to let you in. The code to get in is reset after each guest, and I will give your keypad number before you arrive.
This is a quiet neighborhood.
There is a family of bunnies that live in the neighborhood you will likely see them hopping around at times.
No unauthorized guests overnight!

Private beach, excellent location for bird watching, fishing, kayaking, sailing, standup paddle boarding and swimming. You can rent a sailboat from the Charlotte Sailing Center across the bay or you can moor your shallow-draft motor boat or sailboat in a protected spot steps from the house (trailered boats can be launched at the nearby Converse Bay Fishing Access).

This house is the perfect getaway for one person or a couple. The kitchen is small but functional. You can sit inside in the living area or on the small porch reading and/or enjoying the water, look for fossils on the rocky beach, or walk or bike on the private dirt roads. 20 minutes from the Shelburne Museum, 30 minutes from Burlington, easy access to the Green Mountains or the Adirondacks via the ferry. A favorite activity of ours is to park at the ferry dock, walk on to the ferry, ride to Essex while enjoying the breeze on the lake and the views of the High Peaks of the Adirondacks, get dinner and/or ice cream, and ride home looking at Mt. Mansfield, Camels Hump, and the rest of the Green Mountains.

Rockhaven Tennis Cottage is a unique, charming and rustic self contained cottage on the shores of Lake Champlain surrounded by open farm fields.

The owners Tom and Catherine live on site in the main house with their two springer spaniels. There is a further one bedroom cottage (Island View) which is also available to rent. The cottage has shared use of the beautiful gardens and access to the dock and lake.

This is a non smoking property and is unsuitable for children and those with limited mobility as the stairs to the dock are steep. The property has wi fi.

The Tennis Cottage has one double bedroom and a shower room. Its kitchen is fully equipped. Outside, the deck area has seating for two, wonderful lake views and a BBQ.

The town of South Hero with its restaurants is 3 miles away and Burlington a 25 minute drive.

One of two cottages on the tip of Kibbe Point, South Hero that is surrounded by the waters of Lake Champlain with an easterly view. Moonpath sits above the water with unobstructed views of Vermont's Green Mountains and several private islands. No cars go by as we are the last property on a private dead-end road. Moonpath is surrounded by 200 acres of lush meadows and 320 feet of very private lakeshore. Exceptionally quiet and nature is all around you. This is the ultimate escape for creative types or anybody that just wants to get away from it all. Moonpath has a private waterside deck as well as another adjacent deck attached to the cottage itself. Moonpath is very charming and is furnished with antiques and comfortable furniture. The Best and Closest View of Lake Champlain hands down, no question. It doesn't matter if you are cooking breakfast inside or grilling on the deck during happy hour, you will feel like you're on the flybridge of a boat because all you see is water. Seagulls glide by at eye level as you secretly watch all the action on the broad lake. Weather fronts are easily spotted coming through the Adirondack Mountains across the lake 11 miles away. Boaters and fisherman can check the lake while your still in bed, others can enjoy the beach, ending with sunsets on the deck and a fire in the sand (Lake water is clean with sandy bottom, no weeds). This is not a big cottage but the view is breathtaking. A king bed in one room and built-in bunk bed in the other. Private stairs go down to the water. 1/3 mile to bike path/causeway, 1 mile to park, 2 miles to river boat launch and 3 miles to Bay launch, 7 miles to downtown Burlington. Grocery, pizza, ice cream, 4 miles. Check your stress at the door and enjoy a secluded piece of paradise with a 270 degree view of the Lake and sunsets behind the Adirondack Mountains. Very clean, just remodeled with VT pine and huge sheets of glass so your view is Crystal Clear no matter what the weather. The Tree Tops Cottages is a small family friendly resort located on the Southern end of South Hero on a private 7+ acre property with over 920 feet of direct frontage on Lake Champlain. Originally built in the 1920's, there are only 4 privately sited cottages on the whole 7.5 acre property. Multiple generational families have been coming to Tree Tops Cottages for decades. It may be possible to rent 2, 3 or 4 cottages at the same time for a family reunion. Each unique cottage is restored in the rustic Vermont Camp style, and offers great lake views. This is not a luxury resort, rather a down home, friendly, relaxing place only 20 minutes to Burlington.
The gradual shale beach is weed free and is rare (for Lake Champlain) due to the fact that it is south facing, which affords all day sunshine and protection from cool northerly breezes. The 'Outer Malletts Bay' lake location offers warmer and calmer water than the 'Broad Lake'.
We will allow 1 pet per cottage with a surcharge.
