Plenty of room to run in the yard, a low kid-friendly tree fort, hammock, kayaks, a private beachfront on the lake with lawn chairs and dramatic mountain/sunset views. We found the place very clean and ready to go; the kitchen is well appointed with a large refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, etc. The half-bath on the second floor is a great touch and very convenient. The location is less than a ten minute drive from at least three restaurants, a pharmacy, hardware store, grocery store, a convenience store and gas stations. There is no front desk, no private en-suite bathrooms; this is not a modern building with amenities such as elevators, soundproofed walls, or central AC. My Cousin’s Place does not have any of that! What we do have is a central location in the heart of Burlington, where you can rent a private room by the night to explore the city, do some work, or just relax. This is a laid-back, self-sufficient atmosphere with a diversity of guests from around the globe. My place is a small condo (662 ft) in the most beautiful and convenient location in Burlington! 5 min walk to waterfront park, bike path and 10 minute walk to the heart of downtown Burlington! The room is spacious and has good natural light! NO A/C (no air-conditioning)!
Because of the close proximity to most interesting spots in town, you can walk everywhere!
Please pay attention to Burlington Parking Bans, warning system of yellow lights mounted on utility poles throughout the city.

Winter Parking/Parking Bans
“Burlington maintains a warning system of yellow lights mounted on utility poles throughout the city. These lights are activated when a snow parking ban is declared. Parking bans must be declared by 3:00pm and take effect at 10:00pm that night. When the lights are on, parking is prohibited on any street in the residential areas from 10:00pm to 7:00am and in the downtown/Church Street Marketplace areas from 12:00 midnight to 6:00am. This prohibition allows snow removal crews to effectively clear city streets of snow and restore them to operating efficiently. Vehicles found on the street will be issued a $125.00 parking ticket and towed to the nearest street the Public Works Department designates as a drop-off point. This would be a street that has been cleared of snow. Vehicles found with more than $75.00 in outstanding fines or previous winter tow tickets will be towed to a designated garage until payment is made. During parking bans, free parking is available in the City owned parking garages. THE CLOSEST GARAGE IS ON THE CONER OF BATTERY AND COLLEGE STREETS (10 MIN WALK).

There is a bus stop within 100 yards of the front door. Close to airport. Off street parking. Backyard with patio set & grill. (No cigarette smoking in unit, permitted in backyard). Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. My house is located just a 10 minute drive from downtown Burlington. Enjoy the lake, the bike path and some great restaurants just moments from the house. The bedroom has a bed and some furniture. There is also a big space to hangout in downstairs. Make my place your next vacation or short term stay in Vermont. You will be sharing the house with myself and maybe one other roommate.
