- "Perfect little cabin tucked away in Woodstock. Short drive to town with lots to do. Dave was a super great host with quick replies if we ever needed anything or wanted suggestions of places to swim or eat. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!" - "David’s cottage is wonderful! We already can’t wait to come back and stay again! The location is amazing, private, and just what we needed. David is a gracious and accommodating host. This is a great place. ❤️" - "This little cabin was great! It is simple, comfortable, easy to access, and provided privacy in a picture perfect setting! Dave is very friendly and a gracious host. He greeted us upon arrival, ensured we were comfortable, and brought us fresh tea and coffee. Dave even prepared and lit a fire for us near the cabin one late afternoon. Sitting in the brisk VT winter cold evening, next to a roaring fire, nestled atop a hill, surrounded by trees, with a crystal clear brook flowing below, and inches of snow falling, turned into the highlight of our stay. We will return!"

- "A lovely "get-away" in beautiful Vermont." - "I was more than please with the beauty surrounding this location. Coming from Florida with people who have never been to the northeast during fall, it was a perfect introduction to Fall in New England. If you are one who gets car or motion sick, be advised that this house is at the very top of a mountain, where the Appalachian trail comes in, and to get to the top it is a ten minute drive up a windy steep mountain. The house was everything I was looking for as 3 married adult couples, it had 4 large bedrooms and 2 baths. Beds were a little too hard are half the party, but I slept great!! Just 15 mins from the "Hallmark" town of Woodstock, it's worth the trip."

- "Very lovely cabin with thoughtful interior accoutrements. All of the necessities were there to make a comfy stay. The views were stunning and we found plenty to do in Woodstock and surrounding towns. Great nearby eateries, too." - "Lovely, well appointed cabin on a picturesque spot. It is worth noting that the two upstairs bedrooms don’t have a bathroom on the same floor. Although our family was fine with it , it might be a problem with a mixed group. We would definitely book this cabin again "

Interesting the world's best 19th-century American psychoanalyst vacationed next door and owned this place. He would send his patients here for tea. My great aunt ( a most loyal patient) bought it in the 1920s Her chauffeur and maid stayed here while she enjoyed the Woodstock Inn. Hint a Newporter and New Yorker and famous woman! Only had tea here.
