- "Relaxing, beautiful environment. Nice cabin and hosts." - "We loved this vacation!" - "A great week in Saranac Lake. Enjoyed the hot tub every night after our hikes. CLose to plenty of hiking and sightseeing. Thank you for a great week" - "My wife and I just returned from an amazing stay at Baker cabin. The Host Robert answered all of our questions promptly prior to the stay. Upon arrival we were greeted by the property manager Walter who was awesome and was available at the main cabin in case we needed anything which was assuring. The location on the lake and the property itself was better than expected. The driveway was a little to find at first and tricky to navigate but not an issue and it allows you to drive right up to the cabin which was super convenient. However I can see why it is not in use during the winter months. The cabin itself was better than the pictures and well appointed. The complimentary bottle of Prosecco was a really nice touch. The bistro table set on the deck made relaxing outside that much more enjoyable. Even though the weather wasn’t great during our stay we still enjoyed the hot tub which was a big selling point for us and overall had a wonderful stay. Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to use the kayaks etc. but they were neatly available right by the water along with life jackets. We will definitely be back…"

- "Beautiful setting on lake. Kayaks and canoes were readily available. Cabin had everything we were looking for for our vacation." - "We had a Fantastic experience celebrating Christmas in Moose and Fish cabins. We all felt so at home!" - "We had a nice time in the area. Cabin was well equipped. The view is awesome. You do get a little road noise when sitting outside, but the short distance to the road is nice if you want to do things in the area. Floors do slant, which made it a bit more difficult for my 74 and 83 year old parents. Cabin was a little dusty/cobwebby in the corners, but main areas were very clean and appealing. We loved all the toy and decorative moose in the cabin. (Note: If taxidermy bothers you, this isn't the place for you.)"

It was immaculate and adorable! We will be back! Thank you for an exceptional stay!" - "Fantastic property and location. One thing we found a bit wanting is that some of the cutlery was not clean and ditto for a pot. Also, when we checked in, the entire cabin was too hot, especially the bathroom, but we got it cooled down pretty quickly. Other than that, everything was perfect."

We will definitely definitely be back." - "Huda and Ethan were excellent hosts! They went above and beyond to make our Christmas stay special (which included a small Christmas tree). - "My family usually canoe camps in the ADKs in the summer. Do to some health concerns, we needed to have access to electricity and a roof this year, and we're looking for a low-key family style cabin on or near the water. This place was just the spot. The place is secluded and though there are other cabins on the property we had privacy and our own space. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the cabin is so cozy that we were happy even when it rained for hours on end. A sweet spot."

Guest Reviews:

- "We had a wonderful visit at Cochran’s Cabins. We stayed at Camp Marnie, and it was just enough for the two of us with our senior dog. The bed is comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for our showers/dish washing. We took walks and sat on the dock when we weren’t going other places for an event. If we’d stayed longer, we would have gone kayaking. The area is stunningly beautiful. The towns are quaint with delicious food and coffee, lots of art and community music, and the people very friendly. Marjorie is very communicative and fun to talk with. Thank you for making our trip relaxing and enjoyable."

- "We had a great time, it was clean. We went during late July. It was hot overall, but the cabin was surrounded by trees, so it was pretty cool inside. Clean, had some games like dominos and puzzles. Literal water view. Would recommend if you want to get away. 10mins from the town, and no mobile signal at the cabin, so you're disconnected." - "Very cleanly, rustic, but exactly what you should be looking for if you’re trying to take a true getaway vacation, this is the place to be."

Guest Reviews:

- "Perfect getaway , cabin cozy and location perfect on beautiful lake . Loved it!!!" - "Marjorie was a terrific host. She was very responsive, thoughtful & gracious (and we weren't the easiest guests!). The location is peaceful and amazing - close to the city of Saranac Lake which has with a great natural food store, bustling farmer's market, perfect bookstore and amazing toy/game store but far enough away that it's quiet and very remote. The lake is pristine. We paddled and fished and mountain biked nearby. Should have stayed for more than 2 nights!"

* New infrared sauna (Please note: Our ability to describe this unique cabin is limited by Airbnb's platform. The sauna is in the mudroom, not in 'Living Room 2' as we had to add it. Inquire if you need more info!)
* Private dock with boat slips, kayaks, and swim pad - watching the town fireworks on July 4, New Years Eve, and Winter Carnival from our dock is awesome!
* Outdoor shower (an indoor one, too!)
* Outdoor seating, grill, and firepit (seasonal)
* Complimentary winter & summer outdoor gear
* Boot dryers

This is a dog-friendly home as long as your dog is 12+ months and housebroken. The home has free parking for one large or two compact vehicles.

Other things to note
You have complete privacy in your cabin. We live on the property in a separate cabin so we're immediately available to address any issues.

Guest access
The entire cabin, sauna, outdoor patio and a dedicated, off-street parking space plus our private dock across the street is yours to enjoy.

Other things to note
The cabin is located on the busiest street in the Adirondacks. You'll hear some traffic noise during the day but it quiets down in the evening and overnight. You'll be within easy walking distance of restaurants, nightlife, grocery and liquor stores, parks, and more. But, if you want a secluded cabin in the woods, this one isn't for you!

Please let us know if you'll be bringing a pet. There's no extra charge and we love hosting them - just want to know who's staying with us!

Please let us know if you’re bringing more than one vehicle. There’s one, off-street parking space for the cabin. Depending on the sizes of your vehicles, we may be able to accommodate them, or you may need to park one of them down the street.

You'll need to supply your own firewood and kindling but they're easily available locally. We don't allow guests to forage on the property for wood or kindling. The firepit and grill are seasonal - we don't shovel them out in the winter but if you want to you're welcome to!

PET POLICY
Pets are welcome to enjoy our tranquil and secluded spot as long as they are well-behaved and barking is kept to a minimum. Here’s what you need to know and what you will agree to when you bring your pet pet -
-Non Refundable Pet Fee: $95
There is a maximum of one pet per rental and all pets must be accounted for in advance, at the time the reservation is made. It is unacceptable to arrive without previous permission and reservation for a pet. Any misrepresentation of facts will void any arrangements heretofore made.
-Guests Must clean up after their Pets
Guests must pick up after your pet when they relieve themselves (remember to bring your doggie bags - no one likes to have foul odor emitting from the bottom of their shoe). At the end of your stay, if the cabin is not the way you found it (e.g. excessive shedding and dog hair is found), there will be an excess cleaning charge deducted from your security deposit.
-Pets cannot be left alone on the property
When guests leave the rental, pets must go with you. Pets will be in an unfamiliar environment which requires reassurance and comfort, as any child would. Guests who leave pets unattended will be asked to leave and will forfeit any monies, including rental fee paid for the duration of the reservation as well as security deposit.
-Immunizations and Flea Treatment
Prior to arrival, ensure that your pet’s medications and immunizations are up-to-date, especially flea treatment. Please bring a copy of your pet’s immunization record - we will ask to see this upon arrival. Fleas and ticks can be found in the Adirondacks. Prior to arrival, apply flea control medication to your pet so it has time to take effect. We will ask for proof of this upon arrival.

Pet sitting services can be arranged but advance reservation is required. Feel free to inquire when you make your initial reservation. Requests for pet sitting upon short notice is very difficult to accommodate.
-LEASHES ARE REQUIRED

-Pets aren't allowed on the furniture
Cleaning fees will be assessed if it is determined that pets have been allowed to romp and roll on the furniture. Sorry.

-Pet Sitting
Pet sitting services can be arranged but advance reservation is required. Feel free to inquire when you make your initial reservation. Requests for pet sitting upon short notice is very difficult to accommodate.
-LEASHES ARE REQUIRED
All dogs must be on a leash when outside the rental. Pets can be very territorial when in an unfamiliar environment. Pets must be controlled by their owners in order to ensure safety of all guests.
-Pets aren't allowed on the furniture
Cleaning fees will be assessed if it is determined that pets have been allowed to romp and roll on the furniture. Sorry.
-Unnecessary Barking is Disallowed
Noise travels very clearly across open waters. Please try to help others enjoy the peaceful serenity of the Adirondacks
