The rail trail is currently completed for 25 miles and is truly an amazing area amenity.

Whether you are visiting friends or family, or coming to adventure outside in the woods or on the water, or for a work trip we have you covered: A sweet space is equipped for preparing simple meals or snacks with a compact refrigerator with freezer, microwave, toaster, drip coffee maker and other kitchen essentials. There is a small deck with a table, chairs, and cushions to sit outside during the warmer months. A secretary's desk awaits those needing a dedicated work space. The Hideaway's ensuite bathroom has a 32" shower stall. Bath essentials are provided including towels and washcloths, hand soap, shower gel, shampoo, and hair dryer. Mary and Kevin are available whenever needed via text or phone and are usually quick to reply. We are glad to meet our guests but its not required since we provide self-check-in. The neighborhood
The Village Hideaway is conveniently located a short walk to downtown Saranac Lake and its shops, cafes, restaurants, and artist galleries. The building behind the home is Bluseed Studios, featuring art exhibits, workshops, plays and live music. Across the street kitty corner is a small park with a tennis/pickleball court and basketball court. Guests have found the convenience of stores located across the street: Dollar General, Aubuchon's Hardware, Kinney Drugs, a Wine and Spirits shop, and a bicycle and snow mobile rental shop. Less than a mile away is the towns’ municipal beach, park and picnic area at Lake Colby - a lovely spot to watch the sunset, and a boat launch on Lower Saranac Lake, which gives access to the spectacular Saranac chain of lakes. Behind the building is the new Adirondack Rail Trail where you can walk, bike, cross country ski or snow mobile for miles! 25 miles of 34 is currently complete as of Fall ' 24. The remaining nine miles is slated to be complete Fall ' 25.

Appointed in classic Adirondack style this fully winterized cozy waterfront cabin has Air Conditioning, a private dock, fire pit, sandy beach access, a full kitchen, queen sized bedroom, living room and private hot tub. With access to over 50 miles of contiguous waterways and lakes via Oseetah, Kiwassa, Lower and Middle Saranac Lakes. Baker Cabin at Colden Lodge is a very unique waterfront location this certain to impress.

The driveway was a little to find at first and tricky to navigate but not an issue and it allows you to drive right up to the cabin which was super convenient. However I can see why it is not in use during the winter months. The cabin itself was better than the pictures and well appointed. The complimentary bottle of Prosecco was a really nice touch. The bistro table set on the deck made relaxing outside that much more enjoyable. Even though the weather wasn’t great during our stay we still enjoyed the hot tub which was a big selling point for us and overall had a wonderful stay. Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to use the kayaks etc. but they were neatly available right by the water along with life jackets. We will definitely be back…"

Moose cabin is directly on Lake Colby and has its own charcoal grill, picnic table and Fire pit with Adirondack chairs outside. Each of the 4 cabins on the property are approximately 25 feet from the next with trees separating them. Guests can enjoy our private beach and dock and use any of our seven boats to partake in fishing or just enjoy the beautiful lake.

Moose cabin has two Queen Bedrooms, a Queen sleeper sofa futon in the living room. A small crib is located in one of the bedrooms. This cabin can accommodate 4 adults and 2 children maximum. The sleepers sofa can accommodate less than 120 pounds for sleeping purposes. Please do not book this cabin if your group exceeds our capacity. Moose also has two full bathrooms, one of which has a Jacuzzi tub.

Moose has a fully stocked kitchen including spices, dishes, utensils, pots, pans, crock pot, teapot, blender, microwave, gas stove, refrigerator/freezer, toaster, dishwasher, drip and Keurig coffee machines. Fresh towels and linens are provided.

This cabin is a 2-minute walk to the public beach and a 1-minute drive to the public boat launch.

Mt. Pisgah is a 2-minute drive where one can ski, snowboard and tube.
Whiteface is a 45-minute drive.
Titus mountain is a 45 minute drive.

During boating season, guests can enjoy our private beach and dock and use any of our 9 boats: 2 row boats, 3 canoes, 3 full size kayaks and a child size kayak. Lake Colby is known for it's excellent fishing of : rainbow and brown trout, salmon, largemouth and smallmouth bass. Maximum 10 hp motors can be used on this lake. Boating is available on our property between May1st and October 31st unless water temperatures are unsafe.

Lake Colby is part of the greater Saranac Lake Community, which offers many tourist attractions, including hiking, snow skiing, zip lines, golf, and amazing food. Saranac Lake is surrounded by some of the most scenic hiking trails on the East Coast.

Let us know if you wish to book one, two, three, or four cabins. We book all 4 cabins together from the third week of June through the last week of August with check-in and check-out on Saturdays.

We welcome dogs less than 80 lbs. We have a pet fee of $100. Pets must be cleaned up after returning from outside and crated if left alone in the cabin. Kindly share the breed with us when booking.

9.3 miles from Lake Placid in Saranac Lake, Robin's Nest offers accommodations with access to a fitness room. Both free Wifi and parking on-site are available at the guest house free of charge. Fish cabin has one Queen Bedroom and a Queen sleeper sofa in the living room. This cabin can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children maximum. The sleeper sofa can accommodate less than 120 pounds for sleeping purposes. Please do not book this cabin if your group exceeds our capacity.

Fish has a fully stocked kitchen including spices, dishes, utensils, pots, pans, teapot, blender, microwave, gas stove, refrigerator/freezer, toaster, drip and Keurig coffee machines. Towels and linens are provided. Fish has a Smart TV and all of the comforts and amenities of home provided in Adirondack decor.

Each of the 4 cabins has their own fire pit, Adirondack Chairs, picnic table, grill on their lawn. The cabins are approximately 25 feet from the next with trees separating them. Guests can enjoy our private beach and dock and use any of our 7 boats to partake in fishing or just enjoy the beautiful lake.

Fish Cabin is about 300 feet from Lake Colby and is not along the shore of the lake, but does have access to our beach, boats and dock. Fish cabin has it's own charcoal grill, picnic table and Fire pit outside as well as a smoker. Each of the 4 cabins on the property are approximately 25 feet from the next with trees separating them.

During boating season, guests can enjoy our private beach and dock and use any of our seven boats: 2 row boats, 2 canoes, 2 full size kayaks and a child size kayak. Lake Colby is known for it's excellent fishing of : rainbow and brown trout, salmon, largemouth and smallmouth bass. Maximum 10 hp motors can be used on this lake. Boating is available on our property between May1st and October 31st unless water temperatures are unsafe.

Lake Colby is part of the greater Saranac Lake Community which offers many tourist attractions, including hiking, snow skiing, zip lines, golf and amazing food. This cabin is also a two minute walk to the public beach and a one minute drive to the boat launch.

The Village of Saranac Lake boasts wonderful Eateries, Pubs and Coffee Shops. Colby Cabins are a 2 minute drive from Mt. Pisgah where the whole family can enjoy downhill skiing, tubing and snow boarding on lit trails. Saranac Lake is surrounded by some of the most scenic hiking trails on the East Coast.

Let us know if you wish to book one, two or three or four cabins. Check-in and Check-out are not allowed on Saturdays from the third week of June to the first week of September.

The Foundry is our modern semi-industrial inspired 2BR 1 BATH home. You will have complete access to the home.

You can check yourself in with the key located in the lock box. We will provide you with the code a few days before your trip.

There are two total bedrooms - 1 QUEEN bed in each room. The living room is equipped with a 55" smart TV. The home offers one full bathroom and is also equipped with a full kitchen. The bathroom and kitchen both have in-floor heating adjustable by thermostat.

Parking available right on site - Maximum number of cars = 2. If you require more than 2 cars, please message me to inquire about availability.

Our home was built in the 1930s, while still maintaining its shape, my family and I have worked tirelessly to make it a home where we can come to unwind and enjoy the outdoors. While we offer our home as a rental to our guests, we do have a few things we'd like to disclose to you prior to booking:
- The bathroom door does not currently have a lock. The door itself closes but it is currently not capable of locking.
- We have child proofed most outlets in the home with the option given to our guests to have more plugs available if needed. There is a baby/child gate available in the bedroom closet. We also have an infant inflatable bath tub and also a versatile bath tub. Even with these provided amenities the staircase as shown in the picture can be fairly steep and may pose a safety concern for toddlers.
- Our home is equipped with a combi boiler. This is a modern efficient boiler that is VERY quiet, 95% efficient, thus reducing our carbon footprint which we are very happy about. The drawback to this is when showering - in order to maintain a steady flow of hot water, no other appliance that uses water should be used at the same time. This includes the dishwasher, laundry machines, faucets, even using the toilet may disrupt the hot water flow. This is very important as we would hate to have our guests be surprised if the hot water suddenly runs cold.

We are very happy of our small cute getaway home but do know that certain guests have superior expectations. If you can accept these minimal flaws, then we are happy to host you and have you enjoy the comfort of our home. Our home is a continued work in progress and we are excited to continue adding to it to make it fun and relaxing for all of our guests. If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to ask! =)

Please be mindful that the home is located in a QUIET and residential neighborhood. We ask our renters to have the utmost respect for our neighbors. The area is lovely and this home makes a perfect basecamp for those who are willing to explore the area's surrounding Saranac Lake which has so much to offer!

Other things to note
We have a surveillance camera installed for the exterior of the house. One for the side door and one for the front door.

Saranac Lake is usually cool even during summer time with an average low of 40 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit, especially at night. Leaving the windows open has given ample breeze even during summer time.

- "I had a couple of days to myself and was able to stay in this darling home. It is decorated so tastefully/modern. The shower was amazing, the location was perfect and I can’t wait to come back!" - "It was nice to find that previous renters left unused pantry items, food, and cleaning supplies, paying it forward. Before that knowledge, we had bought the norm (paper towel, TP, condiments, food, cleaning supplies, etc.), we did the same upon departure, leaving organic frozen ground beef, pantry items, washer detergent, fabric softener, dishwasher capsules, fruit and veggies that we did not use. Hope they were enjoyed by the next guest. Super cute, modern and trendy inside- not an area of this home went untouched during renovation. Beds and bedding were SO comfortable and air conditioning worked SO well and left us SO comfortable. Stairs were a little steep as stated in the welcome folder, we had no incidents, but appreciate the warning. Railing could be tightened as much as you rely on it going up and down, especially with luggage. All in all, great rental, we enjoyed our stay and should we ever need to reside in Saranac Lake again, we would visit again. Ultimately it was not in the exact location that was beneficial to us for business, but that's no fault of the owner. Thank you for a wonderful week."

Relax with the whole family at this lovely newly renovated 2 bedroom cabin, one bathroom, full kitchen, spacious living room with leather furniture. Bedroom 1 has a king bed and TV. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and a TV. Enjoy the fireplace AND BBQ outside along with the screened gazebo. There is a screened in back porch off the kitchen for enjoying food or drinks, facing the woods. Feel free to message questions. We do collect a $75.00 dog fee cash or check. We also offer Pontoon, Kayak, and e-bike rentals. The rail trail is just 1/8 of a mile down the road, with access for biking, skiing or snowmobiling. Plenty of room to park your snowmobiles on the property and have access to miles of groomed trails.

Recent guests have said this is like a 'treehouse! The property is part of Cochrans Cabins which is nestled on over twenty wooded acres at the end of the road, on the waters edge of Lake Kiwassa within the Saranac Chain of Lakes. Within 10 miles is the Olympic Village of Lake Placid. Also in the area is hiking, boating, fishing, skiing, etc.

Pet friendly Adirondack cabin located amidst forested preserve and is available nightly from spring to fall (not winter). It is not on the water but guests have full access to Kiwassa Lake, just 75 feet away. Kiwassa Lake is part of the Saranac Chain of Lakes which means guests have access to 23 miles of waterways from Kiwassa Lake.

Guests will enjoy access to Kiwassa Lake with dock space for a boat or canoe as needed. The cabin also offers a deck with picnic table and charcoal grill.

This one room cabin rental has a double bed and private bath (toilet, sink and shower stall). Linens, including pillows, blankets and towels, are provided. Other amenities include love seat and chair for seating, coffee maker, small fridge and set of dishes.

There is not a kitchen in the cabin. However, guests may opt to order a breakfast basket for two (breakfast muffins, juice and fruit) for an additional fee. Breakfast baskets have limited availability and must be ordered in advance from the owner.

There is a maximum weight of 30 pounds; one pet, and all pets must be accounted for in advance, at the time the reservation is made. It is unacceptable to arrive without previous permission and reservation for a pet.

Pet Policy
Before your stay, you must notify us that you will be bringing your pet or your reservation may be considered void upon arrival. All guests must read and agree to the owner's pet policy. One pet please under 30 pounds.

What to bring - The property is amidst 20+ wooded Adirondack acres. It is wise to bring flashlights and sneakers as the path to the cabin is naturally wooded. Other items: binoculars for the beautiful scenery, hiking/boating gear, food, linens (except pillows), charcoal if you plan to grill, games or books for entertainment (no TVs).

Internet and Cell phones - Due to the Adirondack wooded preserve, Internet and cell phones may not be accessible at your cabin. However, the nearby property and greens are WiFi compatible. Feel free to bring your laptop and set up on the porch (or on a cozy Adirondack chair on the main lawn area).

Guests enjoy this simple cabin without TV or gaming devices because they can relax, enjoy nature and reconnect with family and friends. Guests are able enjoy a simple spot amidst forested trees with a short walk to a gorgeous Adirondack waterfront.

On property, guests have seen amazing wildlife including Adirondack birds, eagles, loons, etc. Amazing fishing abounds with pike, bass, etc waiting for you. Boating is ample with over 23 miles of waterways through the Saranac Chain of Lakes through Lower Saranac Lake, Middle Saranac Lake, Lake Flower in the Village of Saranac Lake, etc...

Up for an Adirondack Adventure?
After, during or apart from your stay, take a canoe/camping trip. Park your car at the cabin property and transportation will be arranged for you, your gear, including canoe/kayak, at Lower or Middle Saranac Lake where camping is available on an Adirondack island. At that point, your adventure will begin! Navigate your way back to Kiwassa Lake through the Lower Saranac Lake locks including, if you desire, a night camping during your trek back. Camping will need to be arranged by you but if you are interested, we can direct you to the reservation site.

We are a small family business simply trying to navigate what the new normal is while also trying to maintain the health of our guests and ourselves. We expect that our guests have taken great care and precaution, as we have, to self-quarantine and social distance. We know the Adirondacks is beloved to many which is why we’re opening our doors in a limited way. We will welcome guests who have self-quarantined prior to arrival for 14 days and who are feeling well and healthy. We expect our guests to be honest - that they have not come into contact with anyone that has had active COVID-19. Our cabins host 8 or fewer people. Only one cabin will be rented to each party. We will disallow congregating in groups of more than 10. This restriction may ease later in the summer. If you do not feel you can meet these expectations, please cancel your reservation.

Located between Lake Placid and Saranac lake, with Scarface Mountain only 200 yards away as well as entrance to the new rail trail for walking ad biking.. Two bedroom cabin (King and Queen beds) with a large fenced back yard with a fire pit. This house is dog friendly with two large doggie doors to back yard. We do have an additional $75 cleaning fee for dogs. Which is collected outside of the VBRO app.

Lots of parking and additional parking for trailers. A pontoon boat for rent. Nice back yard lounge area and a Barbecue for grilling. The house is located on a main road there will be some road noise. We also offer Pontoon, Kayak, and e-bike rentals. The rail trail is just 1/8 of a mile down the road, with access for biking, skiing or snowmobiling. Plenty of room to park your snowmobiles on the property and have access to miles of groomed trails.

The cabin is located on the busiest street in the Adirondacks. You'll hear some traffic noise during the day but it quiets down in the evening and overnight. You'll be within easy walking distance of restaurants, nightlife, grocery and liquor stores, parks, and more. But, if you want a secluded cabin in the woods, this one isn't for you!

Please let us know if you'll be bringing a pet. There's no extra charge and we love hosting them - just want to know who's staying with us!

Please let us know if you’re bringing more than one vehicle. There’s one, off-street parking space for the cabin. Depending on the sizes of your vehicles, we may be able to accommodate them, or you may need to park one of them down the street.

You'll need to supply your own firewood and kindling but they're easily available locally. We don't allow guests to forage on the property for wood or kindling. The firepit and grill are seasonal - we don't shovel them out in the winter but if you want to you're welcome to!

The Pike Room, which is located on the second floor of Kiwassa Lake Inn / B&B, features a queen size bed, knotty pine interior, and oversized, private bath. The Adirondack lake and mountain view from the room's large picture windows will leave you breathless. It is the perfect hideaway for those seeking secluded privacy and relaxation. This unit is available for two people (kids/infants each count as a person!). Guests renting this suite that arrive with more than two people will be turned away without a refund (sorry!).

A sliding glass door opens to a balcony with seating are for two where guests enjoy lake and sunset views. The balcony has a screened door to allow the glass door to remain open, at your preference. Note: the balcony is NOT suitable for children.

Well-stated, the Pike Room is fully appointed including table and chairs, antique desk and conversation area with two oversized stuffed chairs.

Kiwassa Lake B&B is an Adirondack waterfront Bed and Breakfast in Saranac Lake. The B&B is so close to the water's edge that guests feel like they're staying in a luxury boathouse. The B&B is conveniently located three miles from Saranac Lake and 10 miles from Lake Placid in the Adirondack Mountains. The property is nestled on twenty wooded acres at the end of a dead end road on the water's edge of Lake Kiwassa. The B&B has four guest suites each with a private bath and wireless Internet access. There is a guest kitchen located on the second floor of the main house to refrigerate drinks or snacks.

On property, guests have seen amazing wildlife including Adirondack birds, eagles, loons, etc. Amazing fishing abounds with pike, bass, etc waiting for you. Boating is ample with over 23 miles of waterways through the Saranac Chain of Lakes through Lower Saranac Lake, Middle Saranac Lake, Lake Flower in the Village of Saranac Lake, etc…

Up for an Adirondack Adventure?
After, during or apart from your stay, take a canoe/camping trip. Park your car at the cabin property and transportation will be arranged for you, your gear, including canoe/kayak, at Lower or Middle Saranac Lake where camping is available on an Adirondack island. At that point, your adventure will begin! Navigate your way back to Kiwassa Lake through the Lower Saranac Lake locks including, if you desire, a night camping during your trek back. Camping will need to be arranged by you but if you're interested, we can direct you to the reservation site.

Adirondack gift baskets can be ordered for your stay & can be delivered on the day that you choose with, at a minimum, two days advanced notice. All Adirondack gift baskets are custom made and can be customized upon request. Choose from the following or email us with your request and price quote.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel King Suite is beautiful and serene with direct views of Lake Flower. Our largest suite, it offers a king size bed, private porch, sitting area, walk-in cedar closet, and private en-suite bath with clawfoot soaking tub, separate shower stall, and radiant floor heating. This suite is located on the second floor of a Queen Anne style mansion.

Franklin Manor was built circa 1896 by D.W. Riddle as the old Wilkshire Manor Cottage and is on the National Register of Historic Places. From the years of 1952 to 1998, Franklin Manor became a Monastery for the Carmelites.

The Manor was thoughtfully renovated to be a perfect blend of classic Victorian and modern and still features much of the original woodwork.

All guests have access to the entire first floor except the owner's suite located in the back of the house. Shared spaces include the parlor, living room, dining room, library, sunroom, and front porch. All bathrooms are private except for the powder room in the first floor parlor. Guests also share a microwave and mini fridge in the St. Elias lounge located on the second floor across from the stairs. There is no access to the basement, attic, or third floor.

Expansive and airy, the Bear Room at Kiwassa Lake B&B, an Adirondack B&B, is located on the second floor, and is our only suite in the B&B with a fireplace and the only room that can accommodate up to four guests. Located on the second floor, the eastern-facing windows look to Adirondack Kiwassa maples and forested acreage. For quiet nights, there is a sitting area in the Bear Room.

All rates are per night for 2 guests and the rate includes a full breakfast served at 9am. Extra guests in the Bear Room (max total occupancy is 4 people) are $50/per person extra per night. Rates may be higher or lower than what is shown. Any misrepresentation of facts will void any arrangements heretofore made. Weekend nightly minimums: Weekends from June 1st through September 30th are subject to a 2-night minimum. Holiday and event weekends subject to a 3-night minimum and include but are not limited to Martin Luther King Weekend, President's Weekend, Winter Carnival, Columbus Day, Ironman, etc… Extra guests beyond the maximum occupancy is disallowed and children/infants each count as one person. Guests arriving with more than 4 people will be turned away without a refund.

Kiwassa Lake B&B is an Adirondack waterfront Bed and Breakfast in Saranac Lake. The B&B is so close to the water's edge that guests feel like they're staying in a luxury boathouse. The B&B is conveniently located three miles from Saranac Lake and 10 miles from Lake Placid in the Adirondack Mountains. The property is nestled on twenty wooded acres at the end of a dead end road on the water's edge of Lake Kiwassa. The B&B has four guest suites each with a private bath and wireless Internet access. There is a guest kitchen located on the second floor of the main house to refrigerate drinks or snacks.

On property, guests have seen amazing wildlife including Adirondack birds, eagles, loons, etc. Amazing fishing abounds with pike, bass, etc waiting for you. Up for an Adirondack Adventure?
After, during or apart from your stay, take a canoe/camping trip. Park your car at the cabin property and transportation will be arranged for you, your gear, including canoe/kayak, at Lower or Middle Saranac Lake where camping is available on an Adirondack island. At that point, your adventure will begin! Navigate your way back to Kiwassa Lake through the Lower Saranac Lake locks including, if you desire, a night camping during your trek back. Camping will need to be arranged by you but if you're interested, we can direct you to the reservation site.

Adirondack gift baskets can be ordered for your stay & can be delivered on the day that you choose with, at a minimum, two days advanced notice. All Adirondack gift baskets are custom made and can be customized upon request. Choose from the following or email us with your request and price quote.

Franklin Manor was built circa 1896 by D.W. Riddle as the old Wilkshire Manor Cottage and is on the National Register of Historic Places. From the years of 1952 to 1998, Franklin Manor became a Monastery for the Carmelites.

The Manor was thoughtfully renovated to be a perfect blend of classic Victorian and modern and still features much of the original woodwork.

All guests have access to the entire first floor except the owner's suite located in the back of the house. Shared spaces include the parlor, living room, dining room, library, sunroom, and front porch. All bathrooms are private except for the powder room in the first floor parlor. Guests also share a microwave and mini fridge in the St. Elias lounge located on the second floor across from the stairs. There is no access to the basement, attic, or third floor.

There is a pay-laundry facility at the lower level. We provide parking without charge. There is a parking space that we have dedicated to our AirBnb guests, just outside the front entrance of the building (see check-in details); only one step is required, at the front door, to enter the building and the apartment. If snow or other obstacles provide a challenge to that spot, we have virtually unlimited parking below and outside our common entrance into the Laundry room at the basement level, with stairs to the first floor (Suite 7 is located here). We have on-site management and maintenance if any concerns should rise. a However, we do not offer hotel amenities such as front-desk, pool, fitness room, bar or on -site food service, etc. We are in walking distance to stores and convenience shops. The new Adirondack Rail Trail is located just below the property, easily accessible, and offers travelers exceptional hiking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, mountain biking. the trail runs from Lake Placid to Tupper Lake.

Guest access
Parking at our building is on-site and free of charge. We have dedicated a space to our AirBnb guests, at the front left corner of the building, very close to the main entrance. There is a professional sign that indicates "Reserved for Suite 7" on the corner of the building (please see check in details). The area is walkable, with access to convenience stores and restaurants. Lake Flower is 4/10 of a mile by foot or car. There is a former railroad line that has just been converted into a multi-use rail trail, located just to the East of the property.

Other things to note
We are proud to offer excepationally value-priced accommodations for short or longer term stays. We are clean and comfy, and offer a quiet community to enjoy a part of during your stay. We do not allow parties or groups larger than 2 persons, and no visitors will be admitted to the building. Guests must acknowledge that : 1) this is a studio apartment and that studio apartments by definition are one room and a bath. they are not large. this is not large. it is a studio apartment. please expert what you see in the pictures, which clearly shows the space. those renting a studio apartment should not expect something larger. If a one room studio is too small we can help you locate a multi room suite cabin or home rental that better fits your needs. 2) that there are multiple units in the building and that quiet yours are 10pm to 9am, and that respectful noise or activity levels are expected at all times, regardless of day or night. a couple of guests have mentioned on occasion hearing the sound of a toilet flushing from the unit above. this is not uncommon in older buildings with older plumbing. if this is true even though we haven't been able to catch the sound personally, this shouldn't overwhelmingly disturb your stay. we just want to warn you in case you have an aversion to the sound of water coming down a pipe on occasion. We are able to offer our inexpensive pricing becuase we are not a hotel or resort. Please note the amenities list presented in this listing. There are pay laundry machines in the basement level, they do require to download an app to operate- the company that operates them requires a $10 minimum pay in to the app to use them, we apologize for any inconvenience that this may cuase those on shorter term stays, however, they have not offered us a solution suitable for one-time users. You are renting a Queen Suite downstairs with its own bathroom and mini kitchen bar. Upon entering my home, you will open the door and turn right. You will NOT have access to the top floor. Once inside your room, you will find a spacious queen suite complete with a queen sized bed, dresser, tv, desk and plenty of space to store luggage. This suite has wifi if you need to work from home, and its own bathroom. The bathroom is a spacious full sized bathroom with a shower/tub combo, vanity sink and plenty of towel storage. Outside the bathroom is a mini "breakfast bar" which consists of a coffee maker, toaster, mini fridge, microwave and hot pot.

You are renting the bottom floor Queen Suite. This Suite is your own private area. Just note, there is a separate listing for the top floor so there may be guests up there during your stay. You will only share the entrance to the home with other guests. The entry way will be a shared space along with the fire pit in the front yard. This room breaks down to approx. $22 - $30 per person. Affordability is key with four bunk beds and plenty of room and closet space. You'll enjoy the rest that our home has to offer including a six person hot tub.

The space
Our home is at the foot of Dewey Mtn. with access to cross country skiing, mountain biking and snow shoe trails. Close enough to be able to walk to town for restaurants and shopping but nestled back in the woods for privacy.

You have a private room with access to 2 shared bathrooms. Complete equipped kitchen may be used to store groceries, cook meals etc.

Retreat to The Village Hideaway, a cozy private efficiency with an ensuite bathroom for one or two guests. Guests have a private entrance. The space is thoughtfully appointed providing all you'll need for a comfy stay including a mini frig, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and other kitchenette essentials. Situated in the rear of the house with parking just steps from your doorway. Enjoy the convenience to stroll downtown for dining and shopping, and we are right on the Adirondack Rail Trail!

The space
A unique rental with a private entrance accommodates one or two people travelling for pleasure or business. There is a queen sized bed murphy bed (linens and blankets provided), night stands, comfy Morgan chair, desk and chair, luggage rack, clothes rack with hangers, and hooks. Enjoy the sweet little space in the room for preparing simple meals (not a full kitchen - see photos). It is well equipped with a compact refrigerator, microwave, toaster, drip coffee maker and other kitchen essentials (mugs, glasses, wine glasses and opener, silverware, cutting board, etc.). Coffee, tea, honey, and sugar. There is a small deck with a bistro table and chairs to sit outside during the warmer months. The Hideaway's ensuite bathroom has a shower (no tub). Bath essentials include towels, wash cloths, shower gel, shampoo, hand soap, and hair dryer.

Mary has a private studio in the home offering yoga therapy, yoga or qigong classes, reiki and sound baths by appointment. Group classes are offered Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Check the Inner Quest Yoga website.

Weekday guests are welcome to attend, regular scheduled yoga classes with Mary at a reduced rate of $15/pp. She also offers free Mindful Movement classes for seniors at the library downtown. Private yoga classes, Yoga Therapy, Reiki, Sound Bath Meditation, and BioMat sessions are available on site by appointment.

The space
We first became interested after the Tiny House was featured in a Christmas special on FYI's Tiny House Nation in 2015. We became enthralled at these dwellings and knew this would be our next project. It is small - hence the name: the Micro.

This is a tiny space. It is 230 sqft on the lower level and about 96 sqft in the loft. If you need a large space to roam, the Micro will not offer that. If you are not partial to climbing, there is a ladder to the sleeping area, so if that is something that is of a concern, then the Micro is not for you.

If you want some "alone" time, away from your partner, the Micro will not be able to accommodate your needs

However, if you want to stay at the only THOW in the Adirondack/ Lake Placid region then the Micro IS for you.

Guest access
The property is shared with our other rental, however the space and the Micro's part of the grounds are private.
There is a BBQ and a fire pit. There is outdoor seating for lounging and dining.

Other things to note
We do not allow pets at this rental, however if you are traveling with pets we do offer two other properties that do welcome guests traveling with pets. You will be charged a 150$ fee for any uninvited pets.

Please note that bath towels and bed sheets are not provided with this rental, however we do offer that service for a small fee (30$/stay).

At this time we do not support charging of EVs at this location.
