Camp Lillian a sweet “new old” cabin is modest in scale, simply furnished so to not detract from the richness of the views --- it offers a fresh, invigorating sense of “just what is needed, nothing more.” The cabin is located on a 40 acre family compound where we have four glamping tents and five cabins with plenty of privacy between each.

There is a queen bed with duvet covers and beautiful south facing views of the mountains. Vintage oriental rugs, beautiful drapes and antique lamps. There is a cozy bay window where one could read, or sleep. The bay window overlooks a wildflower meadow with a canopy of trees behind the cabin. The bathroom has a nice shower and vanity. There is plenty of hot water, towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner for your use. The kitchen is fully stocked with a stove, an under counter fridge, toaster, coffee making things and of course a sink. There are good pans to cook with, plates, glasses and silverware. The cabin is cozy warm in winter with electric heat.

There is a fire pit with Adirondack chairs. We provide dry firewood and kindling for our guests. Stargazing at night is amazing as there is no light pollution.

Summers are wonderful with cool mountain breezes, nearby lakes and the Hudson River to swim, bathe or fish in. Fall is glorious with all the trees turning color.

We are only five miles from Gore Mountain for downhill skiing and three miles from Garnet Hill Lodge for cross country skiing (and dining!)

Enjoy a hot tub experience! Built within a beautiful Japanese temple-like structure on one of the most beautiful spots of our land (a very short walk from this cabin), our all natural no-chemical hot tub is a delightful way to start your morning, relax after hiking or winding down after dinner. Available for a private experience for $25 for an hour of wonderful relaxation. Let us know if you would like to book!

SUMMER ONLY: Join us for wood-fired pizza! On the upper portion of our land off Cemetery Road, we have a wood fired pizza oven. Here’s how it works. We make and provide the dough, and guests bring their own toppings. We fire up the wood-fired pizza in the late afternoon. By six, the wood fire has died down and the oven is about 800 degrees. Most nights (not all) From six-thirty to seven-thirty, guests come to the pizza pavilion with their toppings and we help them cook their pizzas.

As for summer things to do in the area, there is white water rafting in the beautiful clean Hudson River right at the bottom of our hill offered by various kayaking companies, hiking spots galore, a nearby gorgeous completely undeveloped lake called 13th Lake, dining in North Creek or nearby Garnet Hill Lodge and great daytrips to nearby Lake George, Blue Mountain Lake, Lake Placid and such.

The property is an easy scenic drive up 87 from NYC. If you arrive late, the house will be unlocked and lights on for you.

ARCHITECTURAL NOTES: The cabin was designed and hand crafted by its hostess/owner Leslie. A small crew framed the house in November and Leslie had a lovely winter doing all the inside carpentry and painting during the winter.

A great deal of thought and energy went into planning this cabin. Like a tree grabbing a roothold in the slope, reaching down for water and minerals and arching up toward the available sunlight, a house must begin and grow from its site. When the design of a house has grown out of the uniqueness of the site, it will seem as natural and as integral a part of the whole as trees are a part of the forest. When the house becomes a part of the land, the site can be fully inhabited. The cabin is not set a top the highest point of the land, where it would be fully exposed, but partway down, allowing the woods behind to form privacy and to shelter the house. Gaze out at the wildness of the site from a sheltered spot.

Experience the wonder of Indian Lake with this gorgeous, spacious cabin. This home is on eleven acres backed by state land with hiking trails and sledding hills. Unbeatable skiing at Gore Mountain is 15 miles away and multiple river rafting companies are within 5 miles. Skiing at Gore Mountain is only about 12 miles away! Rafting adventures on the Hudson River with Adirondac Rafting Co. (which runs through Indian Lake) are just six miles from the cabin. The world-renowned Adirondack Experience Museum is located in Blue Mountain Lake about 18 miles away.

Inside, you'll be greeted by an expansive getaway boasting cathedral ceilings and fun vintage decor. The large, pristine living area invites you and your guests to relax on the comfy furniture while watching your favorite streaming service on the TV. The culinary enthusiasts of the group will love whipping up snacks and entire feasts in the well-equipped kitchen. Outside, the three outdoor firepits, and a horseshoe pit are available for guest use, make this home perfect for outdoor activities! Play kid-friendly board games together before turning in for the night in one of the cozy beds.

There is a big garden in the back where you can pick fresh salad greens and whatever produce is in season. This unit is on the snowmobile/hiking trails which go on for miles upon miles through the Adirondacks. Great location 20 miles from great skiing at Gore Mountain. Come enjoy our lakefront house! 2 bedroom house on Lake Abanakee. Fish off of the dock, take the row boat or kayaks to explore over 4 miles of the lake. There are many hiking trails nearby and it’s only 20 minutes away from Gore mountain. World class whitewater rafting that starts less than 2 miles from house. This is the shallow end of the lake, swimming is not ideal. The local Town Beach with a lifeguard is a few miles away and open Monday – Saturday.

The Space:
This 2 bedroom 1 bathroom log cabin was fully renovated in 2023. Inside you will be greeted by a cozy living room with a beautiful stone gas fireplace, memory foam leather sectional, and 55'' TV. The fully stocked kitchen is equipped with brand new appliances and everything you need to whip up a delicious meal. Gated front deck offers a weber gas grill and stunning mountain views. Each bedroom has a memory foam queen mattress, double nightstands, 6 drawer dresser, humidifier, and ceiling fan. Linens and towels are included. Basement offers a Samsung washer and dryer as well as a custom built bar with seating for 6, 55'' TV, extra fridge, large speaker, ring toss and dart board. Enjoy yourself in the outdoor electric sauna or hot tub! House is equipped with high speed fiber optic internet, and central air with AC. Outdoor firepit with mountain views.

The Neighborhood:
Located on a quiet cozy road within walking distance to town. Snowmobile and cross country ski access right out of the driveway.

Getting Around:
There is a lower and upper parking lot in the driveway, the upper lot is a little steep but makes it convenient for unloading luggage as the front door is in the rear of the house. Town is a 30 second drive away where you have access to the local bars and restaurants, as well as Stewarts.

Other Things to Note:
Driveway to upper parking lot is steep, the trade off of a gorgeous mountain view. In winter months all wheel drive is recommended. However there is parking at the lower section of the driveway.

Our studio offers the perfect blend of seclusion and convenience. Just 1.5 miles from the hamlet of Indian Lake, you'll find the Town of Indian Lake Public Beach on Lake Abanakee, accessible via Chain Lakes Road. This tranquil spot features a sandy swimming area, a floating dock, Red Cross-certified lifeguards, public restrooms, a covered pavilion, volleyball court, and swings.

For outdoor enthusiasts, the Sawyer Mountain Trailhead is nearby, offering a 2.1-mile hike with scenic views. Another great option is the OK Slip Falls hike, known for its beautiful waterfall and peaceful surroundings. In winter, enjoy snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and ice fishing. Indian Lake is also known as the "Moose Capital of the Northeast," providing great wildlife viewing opportunities.

Gore Mountain, New York's largest ski resort, is just a 20-minute drive from the studio.

Guests have full, private access to the entire studio unit, including the living area, bedroom, bathroom, and kitchenette. You’ll also have your own private driveway and entrance, ensuring convenience and privacy. Outside, feel free to use the outdoor seating area and BBQ grill anytime during your stay. Free parking is available on-site.

We want you to feel completely at home and have everything you need for a comfortable, relaxing visit!

The studio is a smoke-free and pet-free space to ensure a clean, comfortable stay for everyone.

Parking is available in the private driveway right outside the entrance.

A modern bathroom, complete with a shower, adds a touch of convenience.

Upstairs, a loft-style sitting area invites you to relax, with a balcony that overlooks the lush backyard. The scene is framed by young ferns and tall pines, all kept company by a wood-fired soak tub—ideal for a peaceful retreat. Beyond that, you'll find two inviting bedrooms. Indian Lake receives quite a lot of snowfall during the months of December through March. We require that guests who stay with us during these months utilize an AWD or 4WD vehicle to ensure safe travel and full access to Pieces.

Some firewood is provided outside. However, we recommend picking up additional dry firewood & kindling to get your fires started.

The hot tub is wood fired, meaning it will take time to start a fire and warm up the water. There is an operating guide provided, but if there are further questions about operating the hot tub, before or during your stay, please let us know.

An Adirondack four season camp nestled in the mountains of beautiful Indian Lake. This camp borders thousands of acres of "Forever Wild" land in the Hudson Gorge Wilderness area. Walk across the street and bushwack for miles and miles. OK Slip Falls trailhead is less than a mile away. Skiing at Gore Mountain is 10 minutes away. There are endless things to do in the area-fishing, skiing, hiking, multiple museums, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, kayaking and canoeing to start your getaway!

Cabin 3 is a beautiful 1-bedroom rustic cabin in the woods in Upstate New York. The Cabin is situated right next to the water with a beautiful view of Lake Abanakee. Cabin 3 is located on 37 acres of land with half-a-mile of waterfront views. In the winter months, this location is a great landing place for day trips to Gore mountain or day hiking the 46 high peaks in the Adirondack mountains. A rustic gem for individual travelers, friends, or a couple.

The space
Cabin 3 is a quaint 1-bedroom cabin with outdoor fire pit and grill. Private dock to access the lake and row boat included. Lots of privacy and cozy feels.

Guest access
You have direct access to the lake from your cabin. There's a small dock you can use to access the lake. There's also a beach located on the north end of the property where you can launch a row boat or kayak.

We provide one row boat per cabin. The boats and oars are stored at the beach.

Please note, we do not provide linens (sheets, pillow cases, blankets, etc. or bath towels/mats) at this time. However, we do provide pillows. Staying at Cabin 3 is more of a rustic cabin-in-the-woods-on-the-lake experience than it is a high-end resort. Our guests love this aspect of their stay and we hope that you do, too!

Our studio offers the perfect blend of seclusion and convenience. Situated near the heart of town, you'll find the Town of Indian Lake Public Beach just 1.5 miles away on Lake Abanakee, accessible via Chain Lakes Road. This tranquil spot features a sandy swimming area, a floating dock, Red Cross-certified lifeguards, public restrooms, a covered pavilion, volleyball court, and swings.

For outdoor enthusiasts, the Sawyer Mountain Trailhead is nearby, offering a 2.1-mile hike with scenic views. Another great option is the OK Slip Falls hike, known for its beautiful waterfall and peaceful surroundings. In winter, enjoy snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and ice fishing. Indian Lake is also known as the "Moose Capital of the Northeast," providing great wildlife viewing opportunities.

Gore Mountain, New York's largest ski resort, is just a 20-minute drive from the studio.

Guests have full, private access to the entire studio unit, including the living area, bedroom, bathroom, and kitchenette. You’ll also have your own private driveway and entrance, ensuring convenience and privacy. Outside, feel free to use the outdoor seating area and BBQ grill anytime during your stay. Free parking is available on-site.

We want you to feel completely at home and have everything you need for a comfortable, relaxing visit!

The studio is a smoke-free and pet-free space to ensure a clean, comfortable stay for everyone.

Parking is available in the private driveway right outside the entrance.

You'll have HOA access to Indian Lake just 10 minutes away. Only 2 minutes away is the John Pond Trail Loop with access to 2 remote and quiet bodies of water. 20 minutes away to Gore Ski mountain. 1 hour from the upper works trail head for Mt. Marcy and the HIgh Peaks Wilderness. There's too many kayak or canoe opportunities to list out here. As well as cross country skiing right out from the driveway of the cabin.

Screened in porch overlooking the woods and all of Mother Natures breathtaking beauty. Listen to the songbirds. Watch the deer stroll by. Glimpse the Milky Way at night! Complete relaxation! Inside is a very comfortable cabin with two electric fireplaces, there is also one on the porch . Fully functional kitchen /Living room has a sofa bed. Bathroom is small but functional.
Bedroom is very cozy and romantic with a king size bed . Sit in the recliner chairs and enjoy the electric fireplace. Gas grill and charcoal grill available. Picnic table for outdoor dining or eat at the bar on the screened in porch. Spin a record on the stereo, watch Roku TV or read a book. We have several local reads pertinent to the Adirondacks. Enjoy a fire in the fire pit, some firewood is provided. The shed has assorted lawn games and equipment for guest use. Croquet, cornhole, ladderball, horseshoes, life vests, and a cooler for guests. Lounge chairs are also in there for use. Two ten foot kayaks with paddles and life vests are available for guest use. You will need to transport them with your own truck or racks. Kayak use at your own risk.

The Cabin on the Knoll is a beautiful rustic cabin in the woods in Upstate New York. The Cabin is situated on a hill with a private driveway and a beautiful view of Lake Abanakee. The Cabin on the Knoll is located on 37 acres of land with half-a-mile of waterfront views. In the winter months, this location is a great landing place for day trips to Gore mountain or day hiking the 46 high peaks in the Adirondack mountains. A rustic gem for small families, a group of friends, or two couples.

The Crows Nest is a 1 br apt. beautifully decorated . It sits on 700’ of the beautiful Cedar River 2.5 miles from the village of Indian Lake. Less than 30 minutes to world class skiing @ Gore mountain. Whiteface and the Olympic village of Lake placid is an hour away. Hiking trails just a minute away. Kayaking/canoeing in the rivers , lakes, ponds nearby. White water rafting down the Hudson is 10 minutes away. Adk Museums. Adk chairs Facing the river. Trout fishing outside the door. Or Relax.

The space
Many hiking trails minutes away . Indian Lake has a movie theater Thursday- Sunday. 2 very good restaurants Adk museum is 20 minutes away in Blue mt. lake. The Wild center in Tupper lake is less than 45 minutes away. Do you like to bike ? Cedar River rd is about 12 miles long. Bike to the Cedar River Flow and continue on to Inlet NY Its a dirt rd that goes on for nearly 30 miles through the Moose River Plains.

The apt space is heated nicely by Vermont castings gas stove. Nice little kitchenette. Full bath. Tv and roku. Comfortable Queen size bed. Picnic on the water at the river side table. Gas Barbecue on site .

Oh yes you can swim. The water is clear and clean. Swim hole is about 5plus feet deep and still. For hikes, several great hikes within a 15 minute drive, for all levels. Snowy, Wakely mt/ firetower. Ok Slip falls, Castle Rock, Blue Mt, Chimney all have great rewards. Whitewater rafting in Hudson is 10 minutes away. Great biking right out of the driveway.
Gore mountain ski area is 25 min. Away. Snowmobile trails are 5 minutes away.

The house is reverse living, with bedrooms and the main bathroom on the first floor and the open concept living room, kitchen and half bath on the second, with a loft on the third floor. There are three bedrooms, two with a queen bed and the third with two twins, on the ground floor. The main bedroom has a large walk-in closet. Perfect for little ones who are still in a pack-n-play and need darkness. The master closet is also the access point for the third bedroom. In the loft (not the living room), there is a queen sofa bed, along with a built-in desk - the perfect workspace.

The space
Nestled on the serene edges of the Siamese Ponds Wilderness, this unique property stands gracefully on a knoll, ensconced by majestic pines, aspens, birches, and hemlocks. It offers a tranquil oasis, inviting you to reconnect with a nature once familiar yet seemingly distant in today's bustling life.

Every element of the house is thoughtfully designed to marry comfort with nature's beauty. Within its walls, you'll find everything you need to feel both at ease and secure.

When you step onto the ground floor, you're welcomed into a cozy living room with a soft couch and TV—perfect for winding down. Just next door, the kitchen is fully equipped, featuring an island, stovetop, and refrigerator, all flowing seamlessly into the dining area. A modern bathroom, complete with a shower, adds a touch of convenience.

Upstairs, a loft-style sitting area invites you to relax, with a balcony that overlooks the lush backyard. The scene is framed by young ferns and tall pines, all kept company by a wood-fired soak tub—ideal for a peaceful retreat. Beyond that, you'll find two inviting bedrooms. One has a plush king-sized bed and generous closet space, while the other boasts a striking A-frame window, offering a beautiful view of the land below. Lie on the handmade platform bed beneath a sky full of stars.

Guest access
You'll have access to the entire home, backyard and parking area. The only inaccessible area is the shed and the front closet.

Other things to note
Indian Lake receives quite a lot of snowfall during the months of December through March. We require that guests who stay with us during these months utilize an AWD or 4WD vehicle to ensure safe travel and full access to Pieces.

Some firewood is provided outside. However, we recommend picking up additional dry firewood & kindling to get your fires started.

The hot tub is wood fired, meaning it will take time to start a fire and warm up the water. There is an operating guide provided, but if there are further questions about operating the hot tub, before or during your stay, please let us know.
