Come enjoy our lakefront house! 2 bedroom house on Lake Abanakee. Fish off of the dock, take the row boat or kayaks to explore over 4 miles of the lake. There are many hiking trails nearby and it’s only 20 minutes away from Gore mountain. World class whitewater rafting that starts less than 2 miles from house. This is the shallow end of the lake, swimming is not ideal. The local Town Beach with a lifeguard is a few miles away and open Monday – Saturday.

This 2 bedroom 1 bathroom log cabin was fully renovated in 2023. Inside you will be greeted by a cozy living room with a beautiful stone gas fireplace, memory foam leather sectional, and 55'' TV. The fully stocked kitchen is equipped with brand new appliances and everything you need to whip up a delicious meal. Gated front deck offers a weber gas grill and stunning mountain views. Each bedroom has a memory foam queen mattress, double nightstands, 6 drawer dresser, humidifier, and ceiling fan. Linens and towels are included. Basement offers a Samsung washer and dryer as well as a custom built bar with seating for 6, 55'' TV, extra fridge, large speaker, ring toss and dart board. Enjoy yourself in the outdoor electric sauna or hot tub! House is equipped with high speed fiber optic internet, and central air with AC. Outdoor firepit with mountain views.

The Neighborhood:
Located on a quiet cozy road within walking distance to town. Snowmobile and cross country ski access right out of the driveway.

Getting Around:
There is a lower and upper parking lot in the driveway, the upper lot is a little steep but makes it convenient for unloading luggage as the front door is in the rear of the house. Town is a 30 second drive away where you have access to the local bars and restaurants, as well as Stewarts.

Other Things to Note:
Driveway to upper parking lot is steep, the trade off of a gorgeous mountain view. In winter months all wheel drive is recommended. However there is parking at the lower section of the driveway.

If you are looking to get away and have some quiet time, then this is your place. It was like camping, but with all the amenities - great kitchen, beds, awesome bathrooms, and the super cool screened in game/eating room. We loved it and hope to be back. Fishing from dock was fun, boating options were amazing, and the quiet was needed and appreciated. We had one rainy day that we spent playing games and enjoying the fireplace and good food, otherwise our days were spent on or in the water. We sell firewood & charcoal as a convenience right on our property. We are pet friendly and there are pet fees as the following. 1 dog $15 per night for the first or second night. Three nights or more $10 per night. If you have a second dog in the same accommodation it is half the first.

The Adirondack State Park is one of the most pristine natural environs in the state if not the whole country. It is 80% "forever wild" and protected by the APA. The Adriondack Park Association. Dozens of lakes, hiking trails, beautiful mountain views will offer you the remote outdoor experience you are looking for.

You will definitely need your own car to get around.

Blue Heron has a comfortable queen bed and closet. It has private access to a half bathroom and a shower room in the hallway. The Blue Heron room is part of the Blue Mountain Lake Inn, across from the public beach, and near the Art Center, boat livery, public tennis courts and playground.

Blue heron is a private room on the second floor, that contains a bed, a closet, a chair and a dresser. The room is inside an inn with a shared living room, a dining room, a woodstove room and a wraparound porch. All shared spaces are on the first floor of the inn. The inn is an un-remodeled Victorian boarding house with a lot of original charm and it shows it’s age proudly. Breakfast is included.

This single room is light and airy. It is apart of the Blue Mountain Lake Inn an is across the street from the Blue Mountain public beach and is walking distance from the Arts Center, boat livery and tennis courts. Guests have access to a common living and dinning room, a guest refrigerator and an outdoor grill. Breakfast is serve at a time of your requesting.

We are pet friendly but there are pooch fees and a pet policy, got to "additional house rules".

Units 1 is half the double cabin you see on my other listings. Sleeps 4 with a private bedroom, bathroom, living room and a fully equipped kitchenette. Each have Wifi & Direct TV, outdoor grill & fire pit.

Just an FYI- there are many lakes around us, over 30 nearby but we ARE NOT lakefront property. We are open year round, if you like the outdoors this is the place to be.

From our facility you will have lake access. There is a public beach, a free canoe & kayak launch or you can rent them lakeside. Also on Blue Mt Lake you can rent motor craft like a pontoon boat, fishing or speed boats. Less than 1 mile away is a world class museum now known as "The Adirondack Experience the Museum on Blue Mt Lake". There are also many hiking trails near by Blue Mountain is one of the highest peaks in the Adirondacks. We provide trail maps. In winter, the NYS trail system comes right through our property if x-country skiing, snow shoeing and snowmobiling.

My wife Boka and I are very hands on. We live on the property and will be glad to assist with any questions you have to make your stay more enjoyable.

We have had our rental property here in Blue Mt Lake for 16 years but I have been in the hospitality business almost my whole life. My family owned a resort in the Catskill mountains when I was younger. Providing you services that make your stay that much more enjoyable is a part of my DNA.

Bear's Den is a room with a queen and double beds inside the Blue Mountain Lake Inn, a quaint B&B in the hamlet of Blue Mountain Lake. A 5 bedroom, fully equipped home in the town of Blue Mountain Lake. Sleeps up to 8 people and 1 dog (additional $40). Enjoy all the Adirondacks has to offer from your own cozy house. In the summer months, guests have access to the private beach and boats at Hemlock Hall (check in first). The house has a yard with an outside grill and fire pit. The carport is large enough for multiple snowmobiles or bikes.

The space
The Hemlock House is a spacious house with the comforts of home. It is not directly on the lake, but guests have access to the lake at Hemlock Hall and the town beach. It sleeps up to 8 people. Pack and plays and other infant items can be available upon request. This house is a perfect basecamp for all of your Adirondack adventures, with special permission to access the private beach and boats at Hemlock Hall (in season). There is plenty of room to spread out. Guests have access to the entire house which includes a fully equipped kitchen, two full baths, laundry, a dining room, living room with TV, an enclosed front porch and mudroom with a workstation. There is a carport to safely store snowmobiles or bikes, a grill, and a backyard with room to play. It is on a main road, so traffic can be heard inside.
Dogs are welcome for an additional nightly rate of $40, and we ask for there to be only one dog in the home. We also require that you crate the dog if you will be leaving them in the home and that the dog be leashed, and it goes without saying carry in, carry out.

Guests at the Hemlock House will not receive daily housekeeping. Bed and bath linens and kitchen and dining ware are provided, but please bring bath and laundry soap and other comforts from home as needed. We ask that you clean up after yourselves and leave the house as you found it. A $65 cleaning fee will be added to your bill and if the home is left in poor condition an additional $100 cleaning fee will be charged.

The nightly rate at the Hemlock House is for lodging only. It does not include any meals at Hemlock Hall, however we hope that during our season Hemlock House guests will join us for breakfast and/or dinner. Reservations are required and can be made by calling our office. Meals are served daily from June 7- October 14, 2024.

The Fox Den sits across the street from the public beach and is near the Arts Center, boat livery and tennis courts. It was built by the CCC as part of Roosevelt’s New Deal in the 1930s. The cabin is part of the Blue Mountain Lake Inn. Breakfast may also be available at the Blue Mountain Lake Inn’s kitchen when the house is not fully rented. The cabin consists of a multipurpose room, including a kitchenette and short queen murphy bed, a bedroom with a queen bed, a bathroom and a furnished porch.
