This amazing 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom cabin on Black Lake is ideal for a summer vacation or fishing trip. The primary bedroom is large with wonderful lake views.
The second bedroom is smaller and the third bedroom is a single.
The cabin has air conditioning for those occasional sticky days and a whole house generator if, for some reason the power goes out. There is also a washer and dryer and extra refrigerator located in the garage.
There is a large three season porch with terrific water views, a deck with Adirondack chairs and a private dock (for Memorial and Labor Day stays....the dock goes in May 23 and comes out September 6).
In addition, there is a propane grill and propane fire pit.
Can accommodate up to 5 adults.
There are nearby marinas for boat rentals along with a variety of local activities.

Nestled in the woods on the shores of Black Lake, this small waterfront cottage is peaceful and private, offering a large screened porch to sit and watch the sunsets! It has two bedrooms and one bath in the main cottage (530 sq ft) and a separate bunk house (100 sq ft) that allows for sleeping accommodation for 7 additional guests. Kitchen and living area is open plan with a large enclosed back porch that makes a great entertaining space. Two firepits. Dock. BBQ. Peddle boat. Canoe. Lawn games. Camping atmosphere in rear of house and lake vibes in front of house. Fully stocked kitchen. Linens, towels, toiletries all provided. Washer & Dryer. Clothesline. There is access to a private boat ramp 1/4 mile away. We use this place when it isn’t rented so we have everything needed to have a relaxing lake visit. We are always improving and adding value for our guests and ourselves. **Please note that Black Lake is not ideal for swimming due to lake weeds & lake muck.** Also - This is a cottage/camp in a woodsy area on a lake. There is lots of nature around! Fish to catch, birds to watch, mosquitoes to smush… we treat for insects, pests, and critters but we do not have the ability to control Mother Nature. There will be some gnats, mosquitoes, spiders and flies around the outside of the property due to the wooded lake location. We provide mosquito repellant and bug spray. The house itself has room to sleep 6 (1 queen bed, 1 full bed, 1 queen futon) and the bunkhouse has 7 twin beds. There is a step down to access the living room, one bedroom and the porch. There is one step up to the bunkhouse. There is also an unpaved incline to reach the dock/lake. Verizon cell service works great, but there is no service with other cell providers.

The Lake House Loft is located in Upstate New York on Black Lake, known as “Freshwater Fisherman’s Paradise”. It is the largest St. Lawrence County Lake and is over 20 miles long. It's located near the Canadian Border, close to Ogdensburg and the Thousand Islands. This is a smoke-free, two-bedroom loft, with a full kitchen, and a bathroom. On the side of this cabin there is a beautiful little area with some rocks and a small landing to hang out by the water whether you like to fish or just relax! Since you have a private dock as well, we always welcome people to bring their own boats or feel free to reach out to see if one our ours is available during your stay!
The property also has a Fishing station, that everyone is welcome to use as needed, 3 other cabins and a Main house all rented out to guests. But, although this cabin is located on a campground, you can always keep to yourself if you want! Welcome to your secluded getaway in the woods! Standing Stone Camp sits on a private lake in St. Lawrence County and is the perfect getaway for solo and small-group travelers. The camp is perched on top of a large boulder overlooking the lake and access to the small wooden dock on the lake is just down the stairs. It is perfect for dipping your toes, fishing, birdwatching, or taking in the sunset. Enjoy the firepit or use the oversized yard for your favorite games! We are dog friendly but charge an extra fee.

On the first floor, the camp has an open-concept living and dining area, 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, a full bathroom, and 3 season porch. The dining table seats 4 and has inserts that extend its capacity up to 8. A small, but thoughtfully appointed kitchen includes an electric stove, refrigerator, and all of the must-have appliances (microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, and electric kettle). The loft is upstairs and offers many sleep options and a quiet place to retreat to if you need a break.

Watch the lake come to life in the morning and wind down in the evening from your favorite seat on the porch. Nestled in the pines, you won’t get bored of the chipmunks, herons, woodpeckers, and other creatures that call the lake home.

Guests will access the camp with a unique 4-digit code, set at booking.

During your stay, you will have access to the entire house, use of the yard, the grill, the fire pit, 2 kayaks, a canoe, and a paddle boat. Guests will not have access to the shed.

Rural, secluded, and heavily wooded area. Camp is accessible by gravel/dirt private road.

The water to the camp is supplied by an underground well and is perfectly safe to drink and shower with. However, the water has noticeable iron, so most people prefer to bring their own bottled water. The water is filtered once coming into the house and we have a Britta filter onsite for additional filtration.

The camp is on a septic system. Please help us avoid plumbing problems by limiting items that go down the drain. Please no food debris, coffee grounds, paper towels, or wipes of any kind.

Because of the secluded nature of the property bugs will be present. We do our best to ensure that the camp is pest free but know that they are actively working to foil our plans! Be prepared for stink bugs, lady beetles, mosquitos, ticks, no-see-ums, spiders, and black flies. The camp is equipped with a variety of bug spray, and we ask that all pets are checked for ticks before coming into the house after being in the woods.

The camp is cozy, yet well appointed with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. The living space is one floor with 2 bedrooms, bath, kitchen (fully stocked with all cook wear and dishes and utensils), gas fireplace and an enclosed patio overlooking the lake. There is also a loft, that overlooks the living area with 5 beds, 2 singles, 2 doubles, and a queen. The camp is on a bank over looking the lake off a private road. Access to the lake is directly from the back right of the camp down a little path with staked in steps and a hand rail. Available for use are 3 kayaks, a canoe and 2 paddle boats for your enjoyment along with life vests.

Guests have access to the entire house, use of the yard, propane grill, fire pit, 3 kayaks, a canoe, and a 2 paddle boats.
Guests are also able to enjoy walking the private road around the lake.

Bug Spray is provided but feel free to bring your own. I supply the brand OFF.

Please respect any neighbors, property, and obey all posted signs.

Guests will not have access to the shed.

Please be respectful of the camp as I am opening my getaway home to share its beauty with you. All I ask is you respect and treat it as your own.

Rural, secluded, wooded area in Amish country, roads are shared with horse and buggies please use caution. Then road to the camp is accessible by gravel/dirt private road. Blind curves and narrow road, again please use caution.

Camp is located not too far from exploring surrounding areas like Black Lake, the Thousand Islands, Canada, Sackets Harbor, Clayton, Alexandria Bay and Watertown, and the Adirondack Park. They all are within a day's travel.

The water is supplied by a spring fed well and is perfectly safe to drink, shower, and cook with. Guest are supplied with one full roll of paper towel, three full rolls of toilet paper and paper napkins on both tables.

The lake is private and unfortunately offers no public access for motorized boats.

The Overlook is perched upon a rock ledge above the shore of the lake, the canopy of trees surrounding the residence offers a consistent shade that keeps things inside cool on even the hottest of days. We do have air conditioning for use if you need and lots of windows for a fresh constant breeze throughout the home. We offer all the amenities that you would come to find in most homes, and a bit more. There is a king size bed in the master bedroom, there is a twin over full size bunkbed in the other bedroom as well as plenty of couch space and floor space if additional beds are needed. Welcome to Cedar Grove Camps located on the beautiful Black Lake in the Upstate New York and Thousand Island area. Whether it's relaxing on the point overlooking the lake or sitting around the evening campfire, people have been meeting old friends or making new ones for generations.

All cabins are fully furnished. We supply mattress covers and pillows for the beds; you must bring your own linens/comforters. For the bath, you must bring towels, toilet paper, and toiletries. The kitchens have full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, pots & pans, dishes, silverware. You only need trash bags, dish detergent, and of course, food.

Unfortunately, we do not allow pets or bikes.

Check-in time is 2:00 PM; check-out is 10:00 AM. Arrivals before 9:00 AM will be considered the previous night's occupancy.

We occasionally allow an additional family member with prior permission. Call for rates. Children are count as an occupant at age one.

Come enjoy this rustic 4 bedroom, 1.5 bath open concept log cabin. This Cabin sits on a 1 acre, 150' lake front property located on Black Lake, NY ~20min from Canada and the 1,000 islands/St. Lawrence Seaway.

Window fans throughout for comfort, but summers are still warm. Baseboard heat but this is limited in its abilities.

Boat lift depending on conditions.

You may bring your own linens, if you wish. Linens provided, but we do ask that you wash after your stay, laundry on site.

Welcome to your secluded lake-front getaway in the woods! Standing Stone Camp overlooks a private lake in St. Lawrence County and is ready for you and your family (dogs welcome). We can't wait for you to experience the tranquility!

We can host groups of up to 10 people. Contact us if you have a larger group, we may be able to accommodate with a neighboring camp! Reach out for information!

The space
Sleeping accommodations for up to ten. Two bedrooms downstairs (queen and full bed) and the loft upstairs has two full beds and two twin beds.

Open-concept living and dining area, kitchen, full bathroom, enclosed porch. The dining table seats 4 and has inserts that extend its capacity up to 8. Additional tables and seating on the porch. Fully stocked with linens, towels, pots, pans, etc.

From the enclosed porch, watch the lake come to life in the morning and wind down in the evening. Every seat has a great view. Nestled in the pines, you love watching the chipmunks, hummingbirds, herons, woodpeckers, and other creatures that call the lake home.

The lake is perfect for swimming and boating! Enjoy the dock as you fish, swim! We have three single kayaks, a 3-person canoe, a paddle boat, and a stand-up paddleboard. Plenty of life jackets to go around. There is no launch for your motorboat.

At night the fire pit under the stars is the best place to be.

Access to the entire house, use of the yard, propane grill, fire pit, 3 kayaks, a canoe, standup paddle board, and a pedal boat.

Please be respectful of the neighbors' property and obey all posted signs.

Other things to note
House water is supplied by an underground well and is perfectly safe to drink and shower with. The water has noticeable iron - it gets filtered once coming into the house and we have a Britta filter onsite for additional filtration. Please feel free to bring your own bottled water.

Access to the lake is down a set of stairs. People with limited mobility may have trouble with the stairs.

It's seating right on the St-Laurent river bank where you can explore the beautiful 1000 Islands with their diverse flora and fauna, enjoy fishing, swimming, diving, sailing, kayaking, hiking, etc. The place is fully equipped: kitchen from expresso coffee machine to bottle opener, water sport equipment (paddle boards, kayaks), lots of amenities in the backyard. All you need is a good mood, the rest you will find in our cottage!!!

The space
The camp is cozy, yet well appointed with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. The living space is one floor with 2 bedrooms, bath, kitchen (fully stocked with all cook wear and dishes and utensils), gas fireplace and screened in porch overlooking the lake. There is also a loft, that overlooks the living area with 5 beds, 2 singles, 2 doubles, and a queen. The camp is on a bank over looking the lake off a private road. Access to the lake is directly from the back right of the camp down a little path with staked in steps and a hand rail. Available for use are 3 kayaks, a canoe and 2 paddle boats for your enjoyment along with life vests.

My camp can accommodate parties of up to 10 to 12 people. Larger parties can be accommodated in conjunction with our sister camp next door. Reach out for information!
