Situated on the Adirondack Lake this cabin built in 2006 features a luxury cabin experience. 4 bedrooms with either full, queen, or king bed and 3 full bathrooms. The basement is finished with a pull out sofa, wood burning stove, and laundry. The kitchen is updated with a full size refrigerator, microwave, stove, and dishwasher. Kitchen has an open concept plan to the large living room with picturesque views of the lake. A large deck with seating and a barbecue grill overlooks the beautiful views.

Indian Lake is home to 300 miles of hiking trails, and 8 lakes for fishing and boating. White water rafting is available on the Hudson River. The Cedar River Golf Course is open seasonally, just a 10 minute drive away. Winter is a great time to take advantage of the miles of snowmobiling trails, skiing at Gore Mountain, or showshoeing and cross country skiing on the trails. Plenty of local restaurants open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Camp Lillian a sweet “new old” cabin is modest in scale, simply furnished so to not detract from the richness of the views --- it offers a fresh, invigorating sense of “just what is needed, nothing more.” The cabin is located on a 40 acre family compound where we have four glamping tents and five cabins with plenty of privacy between each.

There is a queen bed with duvet covers and beautiful south facing views of the mountains. Vintage oriental rugs, beautiful drapes and antique lamps. There is a cozy bay window where one could read, or sleep. The bay window overlooks a wildflower meadow with a canopy of trees behind the cabin. The bathroom has a nice shower and vanity. There is plenty of hot water, towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner for your use. The kitchen is fully stocked with a stove, an under counter fridge, toaster, coffee making things and of course a sink. There are good pans to cook with, plates, glasses and silverware. The cabin is cozy warm in winter with electric heat.

There is a fire pit with Adirondack chairs. We provide dry firewood and kindling for our guests. Stargazing at night is amazing as there is no light pollution.

Summers are wonderful with cool mountain breezes, nearby lakes and the Hudson River to swim, bathe or fish in. Fall is glorious with all the trees turning color.

We are only five miles from Gore Mountain for downhill skiing and three miles from Garnet Hill Lodge for cross country skiing (and dining!)

Enjoy a hot tub experience! Built within a beautiful Japanese temple-like structure on one of the most beautiful spots of our land (a very short walk from this cabin), our all natural no-chemical hot tub is a delightful way to start your morning, relax after hiking or winding down after dinner. Available for a private experience for $25 for an hour of wonderful relaxation. Let us know if you would like to book!

SUMMER ONLY: Join us for wood-fired pizza! On the upper portion of our land off Cemetery Road, we have a wood fired pizza oven. Here’s how it works. We make and provide the dough, and guests bring their own toppings. We fire up the wood-fired pizza in the late afternoon. By six, the wood fire has died down and the oven is about 800 degrees. Most nights (not all) From six-thirty to seven-thirty, guests come to the pizza pavilion with their toppings and we help them cook their pizzas.

As for summer things to do in the area, there is white water rafting in the beautiful clean Hudson River right at the bottom of our hill offered by various kayaking companies, hiking spots galore, a nearby gorgeous completely undeveloped lake called 13th Lake, dining in North Creek or nearby Garnet Hill Lodge and great daytrips to nearby Lake George, Blue Mountain Lake, Lake Placid and such.

The property is an easy scenic drive up 87 from NYC. If you arrive late, the house will be unlocked and lights on for you.

ARCHITECTURAL NOTES: The cabin was designed and hand crafted by its hostess/owner Leslie. A small crew framed the house in November and Leslie had a lovely winter doing all the inside carpentry and painting during the winter.

A great deal of thought and energy went into planning this cabin. Like a tree grabbing a roothold in the slope, reaching down for water and minerals and arching up toward the available sunlight, a house must begin and grow from its site. When the design of a house has grown out of the uniqueness of the site, it will seem as natural and as integral a part of the whole as trees are a part of the forest. When the house becomes a part of the land, the site can be fully inhabited. The cabin is not set a top the highest point of the land, where it would be fully exposed, but partway down, allowing the woods behind to form privacy and to shelter the house. Gaze out at the wildness of the site from a sheltered spot.

Beautiful, peaceful cabin just steps from Adirondack Lake!

Relax and enjoy the wonder of the Adirondacks in this year round cabin. Our cabin is just a short 5-10 min walk into the town of Indian Lake, close to many hiking, snowmobiling, and cross country ski trails, and 25 minutes from Gore Mountain and Garnet Hill Lodge Cross-country ski center.

Four kayaks, two paddle boards, and a canoe are available for use. Gather around the fire pit at night, toasting marshmallows, listening to the loons, and enjoying the stars. In the winter, you can cross-country ski or snow shoe right from the property.

The kitchen is fully equipped, and the open floor plan with the living room and deck is great for cooking, visiting, and entertaining. On chilly days, the wood stove will warm this space nicely. The dining table can seat 7, with 4 chairs and a bench. There are also three stools for seating at the counter.

The sunroom (3 season) is a great spot to read, visit, play a game, or work on a puzzle. This room also has a queen size futon for extra sleeping space.

This three bedroom/two bath cabin can comfortably sleep 7 (9 with the futon in the sunroom). The main bedroom has a Queen-size bed and bathroom. The second bedroom has a Queen-size bed, and the third has a double bed with a single trundle. The second bathroom is located in the hall near the other bedrooms.

The Space:
This 2 bedroom 1 bathroom log cabin was fully renovated in 2023. Inside you will be greeted by a cozy living room with a beautiful stone gas fireplace, memory foam leather sectional, and 55'' TV. The fully stocked kitchen is equipped with brand new appliances and everything you need to whip up a delicious meal. Gated front deck offers a weber gas grill and stunning mountain views. Each bedroom has a memory foam queen mattress, double nightstands, 6 drawer dresser, humidifier, and ceiling fan. Linens and towels are included. Basement offers a Samsung washer and dryer as well as a custom built bar with seating for 6, 55'' TV, extra fridge, large speaker, ring toss and dart board. Enjoy yourself in the outdoor electric sauna or hot tub! House is equipped with high speed fiber optic internet, and central air with AC. Outdoor firepit with mountain views.

Guest Access:
Everything but a locked storage area in the basement.

The Neighborhood:
Located on a quiet cozy road within walking distance to town. Snowmobile and cross country ski access right out of the driveway.

Getting Around:
There is a lower and upper parking lot in the driveway, the upper lot is a little steep but makes it convenient for unloading luggage as the front door is in the rear of the house. Town is a 30 second drive away where you have access to the local bars and restaurants, as well as Stewarts.

Other Things to Note:
Driveway to upper parking lot is steep, the trade off of a gorgeous mountain view. In winter months all wheel drive is recommended. However there is parking at the lower section of the driveway.

We struggled a bit with flooding and being displaced from our normal plans up near Long Lake this year, but we are so glad to have found this place at the last minute when other plans fell through. Regina was great with the communication and Brian went above and beyond to make the whole trip easy for us. In a day we were booked and packing. If you are looking to get away and have some quiet time, then this is your place. It was like camping, but with all the amenities - great kitchen, beds, awesome bathrooms, and the super cool screened in game/eating room. We loved it and hope to be back. Fishing from dock was fun, boating options were amazing, and the quiet was needed and appreciated. We had one rainy day that we spent playing games and enjoying the fireplace and good food, otherwise our days were spent on or in the water. Again, communication was great and the ride over and back went so smoothly. I highly recommend this little jewel. We had a great week."

The town park on Lake Adirondack, offers complete with a meeting hall, playground, volleyball and basketball courts, pavilion, and boat launch.

We are a private nonprofit retreat; hence, our cabin availability is restricted by our personal events, and openings are only possible when there are no scheduled events on our end. **Pet Policy for Vacation Rental**

To bring your pet(s), guest(s) must agree to the following terms:

Because we have other guests who are allergic to pets and fur, we encourage that your pet(s) stay in the pet-friendly space of the large porch, but we do not restrict them from entering the indoor living area, which includes the kitchen, living room, and bathroom. However, we prohibit pets from entering the bedrooms or being on the furniture. You are solely responsible for any damage or personal injury caused by your pet.

In addition:
- Clean up after your dog, especially in the rental, yard, and beach areas of the property.
- Do not allow your dog to bark excessively or roam onto neighboring properties.
- Groom your pet prior to and during their stay, particularly if it is a breed prone to shedding. Pet hair can be difficult to remove. Extra cleaning fees will be charged for furniture, blankets, comforters, etc that have pet hair left behind.
- Don’t leave your pet unattended for long periods of time. A crate is ideal for situations in which you must leave.
- Don’t allow your pet to enter if it is wet, especially after swimming in the lake. It’s recommended to bring pet towels to help dry them off.
- Ensure that your pet’s medications and immunizations are up to date prior to your stay, especially flea treatments.
- Don’t allow your pet to harm or chase wildlife.
- Follow all laws regarding your pet.

The space:
Our studio offers the perfect blend of seclusion and convenience. Just 1.5 miles from the hamlet of Indian Lake, you'll find the Town of Indian Lake Public Beach on Lake Abanakee, accessible via Chain Lakes Road. This tranquil spot features a sandy swimming area, a floating dock, Red Cross-certified lifeguards, public restrooms, a covered pavilion, volleyball court, and swings.

For outdoor enthusiasts, the Sawyer Mountain Trailhead is nearby, offering a 2.1-mile hike with scenic views. Another great option is the OK Slip Falls hike, known for its beautiful waterfall and peaceful surroundings. In winter, enjoy snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and ice fishing. Indian Lake is also known as the "Moose Capital of the Northeast," providing great wildlife viewing opportunities.

Gore Mountain, New York's largest ski resort, is just a 20-minute drive from the studio.

Guest access
Guests have full, private access to the entire studio unit, including the living area, bedroom, bathroom, and kitchenette. You’ll also have your own private driveway and entrance, ensuring convenience and privacy. Outside, feel free to use the outdoor seating area and BBQ grill anytime during your stay. Free parking is available on-site.

We want you to feel completely at home and have everything you need for a comfortable, relaxing visit!

Other things to note
The studio is a smoke-free and pet-free space to ensure a clean, comfortable stay for everyone.

Parking is available in the private driveway right outside the entrance.

Wi-Fi is included and reliable for work or streaming.

The studio has a full bathroom and kitchen amenities, but laundry facilities are not on-site.

About the space

When you step onto the ground floor, you're welcomed into a cozy living room with a soft couch and TV—perfect for winding down. Just next door, the kitchen is fully equipped, featuring an island, stovetop, and refrigerator, all flowing seamlessly into the dining area. A modern bathroom, complete with a shower, adds a touch of convenience.

Upstairs, a loft-style sitting area invites you to relax, with a balcony that overlooks the lush backyard. The scene is framed by young ferns and tall pines, all kept company by a wood-fired soak tub—ideal for a peaceful retreat. Beyond that, you'll find two inviting bedrooms. One has a plush king-sized bed and generous closet space, while the other boasts a striking A-frame window, offering a beautiful view of the land below. Lie on the handmade platform bed beneath a sky full of stars.

You'll have access to the entire home, backyard and parking area. The only inaccessible area is the shed.

Other details to note

Indian Lake receives quite a lot of snowfall during the months of December through March. We require that guests who stay with us during these months utilize an AWD or 4WD vehicle to ensure safe travel and full access to Pieces.

Some firewood is provided outside. However, we recommend picking up additional dry firewood & kindling to get your fires started.

The hot tub is wood fired, meaning it will take time to start a fire and warm up the water. There is an operating guide provided, but if there are further questions about operating the hot tub, before or during your stay, please let us know.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Located less than ten minutes from North Creek and Indian Lake. It is paradise for outdoor activities with miles of hiking, skiing, snowmobiling and mountain biking trails. Our cabin is also minutes from the Hudson River with rafting, kayaking, canoeing and fishing opportunities, or go for a ride on the rail bikes.

There are two bedrooms in our cabin. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed. We have an additional sleeper sofa in one of the two living spaces providing ample space for your group.

We are a pet friendly cabin but we do ask that it is included in your booking. There is a small fee to cover the extra cost to clean the cabin after there are pets staying. We also ask that pets are not left unattended inside of the cabin. Please plan to have a travel crate with you if they need to be left at the cabin.

Cabin 3 is a beautiful 1-bedroom rustic cabin in the woods in Upstate New York. The Cabin is situated right next to the water with a beautiful view of Lake Abanakee. Cabin 3 is located on 37 acres of land with half-a-mile of waterfront views. In the winter months, this location is a great landing place for day trips to Gore mountain or day hiking the 46 high peaks in the Adirondack mountains. A rustic gem for individual travelers, friends, or a couple.

Cabin 3 is a quaint 1-bedroom cabin with outdoor fire pit and grill. Private dock to access the lake and row boat included. Lots of privacy and cozy feels.

You have direct access to the lake from your cabin. There's a small dock you can use to access the lake. There's also a beach located on the north end of the property where you can launch a row boat or kayak.

We provide one row boat per cabin. The boats and oars are stored at the beach.

Please note, we do not provide linens (sheets, pillow cases, blankets, etc. or bath towels/mats) at this time. However, we do provide pillows. Staying at Cabin 3 is more of a rustic cabin-in-the-woods-on-the-lake experience than it is a high-end resort. Our guests love this aspect of their stay and we hope that you do, too!

We provide one row boat per cabin to use on the lake. There's an outdoor fire pit and charcoal grill for your use. We do not provide firewood, charcoal, or lighter fluid.

You'll have HOA access to Indian Lake just 10 minutes away. Only 2 minutes away is the John Pond Trail Loop with access to 2 remote and quiet bodies of water. 20 minutes away to Gore Ski mountain. 1 hour from the upper works trail head for Mt. Marcy and the HIgh Peaks Wilderness. There's too many kayak or canoe opportunities to list out here. As well as cross country skiing right out from the driveway of the cabin.

The Cherry, at Camp Driftwood, is a tiny jewel of a cabin overlooking wild and wonderful Indian Lake, in the heart of the Adirondack Park.

The space
You'll access the amazing "Forever Wild" Adirondack Park from our 900 feet of lake shore, for swimming, fishing or boating in the kayaks, canoes, rowboats and sunfish (in season) that are all provided free of charge (unless the lake is iced in). Evenings you'll be able to settle in around a campfire, or enjoy watching a fire inside in the woodstove. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, large screened porch and deck.

---There is limited cell phone service on the premises, but wider service is available a couple of minutes drive away. We do have premium wifi, which is suitable for VoIP phoning, available for a surcharge.

---Bring your own bed linens and towels and get premium WiFi for free, plus a rebate of $30, plus another $20 per each additional bed.
Otherwise the WiFi upgrade is $30 (payable on site) for broadband fibre (fine for streaming and conferencing). Pillows & blankets and free basic WiFi are always provided, with or without the rebate offer.

--- EV charging is Level 2, providing 240 volt current through standard 50 amp outdoor, three-prong receptacles. It is centrally located, and there is a fee.

---Well-behaved pets are allowed, as long as certain simple rules are followed:
-Dogs must be walked on leashes.
-Owners must clean up after their pets.
- Dogs are not allowed in the cabin when they're wet.
-Owners who take their dogs to the waterfront should avoid areas where others are swimming or sunbathing.
-Pets are not allowed on the furniture.
-Cats must not scratch the furniture or other items in the cabins.
-Dogs must not be left alone in the cabin all day.*
-Dogs must be kept from barking and disturbing the other guests.**
There is a $75 per week or $15 per day per pet surcharge. This charge is necessary to pay for the extra cleaning required to keep our cabin allergen-free.
-Owners are responsible for any damage caused by their pets.
-Be sure to inform us, when making reservations, if you wish to bring along your pet.
-Packs of dogs are not be allowed. You'll need special permission to bring more than one pet.

*Animals that are normally quiet at home may bark or howl when they're left behind in strange surroundings. If this proves to be the case, you'll need to take your pet with you at all times so that other guests aren't disturbed.
**If your dog is a chronic barker, it's not going to be a good fit. Please board your pet instead of bringing it along. If, however, it's simply territorial and likely only to bark at passersby; please discuss this with us, so we can help you locate a cabin where this won't be an issue, and other guests won't be disturbed.

The Cabin on the Knoll is a beautiful rustic cabin in the woods in Upstate New York. The Cabin is situated on a hill with a private driveway and a beautiful view of Lake Abanakee. The Cabin on the Knoll is located on 37 acres of land with half-a-mile of waterfront views. In the winter months, this location is a great landing place for day trips to Gore mountain or day hiking the 46 high peaks in the Adirondack mountains. A rustic gem for small families, a group of friends, or two couples.

Outdoor enthusiasts dream! Cozy 4 season camp close to everything the Adirondacks have to offer. 2 bedrooms plus a sleeping loft sleeps 6 comfortably. Just a short walk or drive to launch your canoe or kayak from the lakefront access with swimming/fishing dock. This house is ideally located with hiking, fishing, whitewater rafting or skiing close by. In winter, snowmobile trail system can be accessed from the lake! Or simply relax and enjoy the sounds of nature from your Adirondack chair.

Lakefront restrictions:
-The main dock should be used only for purposes of boat loading and unloading and for swimmers to enter and exit the Lake. Sunbathing, sitting, or lounging on the dock will not be permitted.
-The cabana and adjacent deck is not to be used by AirBnb guests.
-Groups of more than 10 individuals will not be permitted at the cabin or lakefront area.

Our camp is located the heart of the Adirondacks in upstate NY . It is a beautiful four season cabin on Lake Abanakee . The camp is adorned with Adirondack art and furnishings made by my artisan friends and I. Lake Abanakee is a favorite for canoes, kayaks, photographers, fishermen and families.
Enjoy glamping in our new screened in lean to or swimming and boating from our private beach.
Although our camp looks like a rustic retreat, we have high speed internet and all the modern conveniences.

Our guests have the use of our entire property. We have our own private beach, Adirondack lean to and fire pit.
There are two kayaks, two canoes and a rowboat for use.

Cabin 2 is a cozy space featuring a screened-in porch for visiting with family, enjoying the view of the lake or getting some work done from the woods. This cabin has a full kitchen with gas stove and full size refrigerator. There's also a pull-out couch on the porch.

You have direct access to the lake from your cabin. There's a small dock you can use to access the lake. There's also a beach located on the north end of the property where you can put a row boat or kayak into the water.

We provide one row boat per cabin. The boats and oars are stored at the beach.

Staying at the cabins at LockeHarbor is more of a rustic cabin-in-the-woods-on-the-lake experience than it is a high-end resort. Staying at the cabins at LockeHarbor is more of a rustic cabin-in-the-woods-on-the-lake experience. We clean the cabins thoroughly before each guest arrives. It is possible that the cleaning could occur one or two days before check- in . So…..

There could be dust, spiderwebs, pollen on outdoor furniture, etc. However, please keep in mind this is a cabin in the woods on a (beautiful) lake and nature is part of the experience.

If something is broken or just not right, please let us know and we will do our best to quickly remedy the situation.

The Hermitage secluded cabin is located on 54 wooded acres which features a charming bedrock brook whose gentle flow is audible from the dining area. Its whimsical moose theme interior offers rest and relaxation. It includes a queen size bed, 2 twin beds in the bedrooms and a full size sleeper couch. An apartment size refrigerator and electric stove top are located in the kitchen. Wi-Fi, tv, phone and Alexa are included. Many maps offering countless hiking trails are available.

Paper towels and napkins are provided.

Fully equipped with pots, pans, silverware, dishes, glassware, cups, enough to serve 12 people. Cooking is done with a small counter top electric stove and an outdoor charcoal or gas grill. A convection oven, microwave, toaster and an apartment size refrigerator are included in the kitchen. Also, a Nespresso and coffee grinder.

Home office nook, equipped with full desk for anyone working from home. We have WiFi!!

Outside we have a gas and charcoal grill as well as a fire pit. Remember to bring your own firewood which easily can be purchased by several vectors in the village.

Other things to note
Indian Lake receives quite a lot of snowfall during the months of December through March. We require that guests who stay with us during these months utilize an AWD or 4WD vehicle to ensure safe travel and full access to Pieces.

Some firewood is provided outside. However, we recommend picking up additional dry firewood & kindling to get your fires started.

The hot tub is wood fired, meaning it will take time to start a fire and warm up the water. There is an operating guide provided, but if there are further questions about operating the hot tub, before or during your stay, please let us know.

This camp has been a cherished Adirondack getaway for our family for almost a decade, and for another family decades before us. It is a perfect place to relax between hikes, paddles, swims, ski runs, and snowmobile rides. Enjoy the open floor plan of the main level with plenty of seating between the kitchen and living room. Relax in the fresh air of the screened in porch as you enjoy morning coffee, reading a book, or dinner around the table. You might get lucky and see a deer crossing the road.

When you walk through the front door, you will be greeted with an open concept main floor with tall ceilings with the kitchen and dining table to the right and the living room to the left. The lower level also contains 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed, a full bathroom with a tub, and the shining star of our property - the screened in porch. Up the stairs you will find the third bedroom which has 2 double beds in it and another full bathroom with a small shower. We feel the house can sleep 8 adults, but 6 may be more comfortable given that 2 of the beds are double beds. Outside in the front porch there is a picnic table and Adirondack chairs to lounge in.

The driveway can fit 4 cars, and guests are welcome to park on the grass to the left of the driveway to make more space. If you do that, park head in, front facing towards the tree line. We do not recommend parking on the street.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire property except for the shed and the pantry next to the kitchen.

Other things to note
Sound travels dramatically in this area and we have many neighbors who reside full time. Our other neighbors are members of our family. Have fun but be respectful.

If you shut the outdoor lights off, you will likely have really nice star gazing opportunities.

Most of the home (the living room, stairs, and all the bedrooms) have carpeted flooring. The bathrooms, kitchen, and screened in porch do not.

We have 2 cameras set up - one that overlooks the driveway and the other is a ring doorbell camera position at the front door.

The space
The 1500 sq/ft cabin was built in 2012 and the inside was finished in 2020. The home sits on 3 acres. Everything is basically brand new. We are still working on a few small projects in the home, but nothing that would impede your stay! We come to the cabin 1-2x a month so there is always improvements or updates being made to the property.

When you arrive, guests enter through the front door, under the lean too, off the driveway where the "Welcome" sign is hanging. You will enter your 4 digit code into the front door keypad and step up into the entryway of the home. You will be met by the fresh smell of the knotty pine that fills the home still.

The home has an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings and plenty of windows for natural light. A great space for entertaining. Directly in front of you is the laundry room. To the right is the door that accesses the garage that is closed off to guests. When you go left, you will enter into the main living area that has wood floors.

The living room has a sofa that has two automatic recliners and cell phone charging ports, an automatic recliner chair with cell phone charging units, another armed chair and a pine futon/sofa. There are many pillows and fleece blankets to cozy up with during the fall/winter nights. Located in the living room as well is a book case that has puzzles, books and family games. The corner stoned wall is being worked on to have an added fire place unit added this fall.

The kitchen has stainless steel appliances. Refrigerator with ice maker and water, electric stove, dishwasher and above range microwave. Coffee maker and wine bottle night light located on the counter. There is a drip coffee maker and filters provided. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, toaster, electric griddle, strainer, crock pot, waffle maker, utensils, some paper products, etc. If you have questions on specifics - just ask!

There are french doors off the kitchen that open to the back of the house where the fire pit is located. The back yard is NOT filled with lush grass. It is natural growth that is maintained on a biweekly basis. The back yard has a large fire pit with 8-10 Adirondack chairs for seating. There are marshmallow sticks and a fire pit cooker. To the left corner of the property is a nature trail about .25 mile around to the front of the property. The trial is marked with yell or arrows to follow.

The door located off the living room leads to the outside picnic table, propane grill, two hammocks hanging, and additional Adirondack seating. Plug in the patio string lights at night and enjoy!! The front yard is natural growth with ferns, new growth pines and some grass. There are many stumps where trees have been removed, we are working to have them removed. Please be careful!

There are three bedrooms total, two are located downstairs. All of them with carpeted floors.

First room we refer too as the "master". It has an adjustable full bed frame, 2 dressers, a tv that connects to the firestick, a rocking chair looking out into the woods, ceiling fan, small light next to bed, books and children's toys located in the closet. Also in the closet is a pack and play folded up.

The other room we refer too as the "fishing” room. This is the smallest of the three rooms. It has a locally hand made log bunk bed with fish themed fleece blankets and large plush fish pillows. The bunk beds is a full on the bottom and a twin on the top. There is a dresser and a plug in standing fan.

The third room is located upstairs. There is a queen bed on a pine wood frame. The full bed is on a metal frame in the corner of the room. There is a ceiling fan, window a/c unit and floor fan. This room has a TV that only works with the DVD player. Some DVD's are there for use, many are kids movies. There is also a rocking chair over looking the woods. You can look out into the woods and many times see wild life roaming all over.

Please note, bed sheets are provided upon request of booking if the guest agrees to clean them before checkout.
(pillow cases, flat sheet or fitted sheet).

We do provide the comforter, pillows, fleece blankets and quilts.

The bathroom is directly across the "master" bedroom located on the lower level (shower only). The shower has two different shower heads you can choose from. Towels are provided (wash clothes and hand towels as well). The vanity has one sink, a magnifying lighted mirror, shelfing, step stool for kids and hanging towel racks. There is a hair dryer, straighter, heating pad and first aid kit provided.

The property has a large driveway for parking or entertaining. There are many solar lights on the property that light up at night or when wild life walk by.

Three security cameras are on exterior of the property.

No pets!

Kayaks, corn hole, life jackets, kids games, some swimming accessories and horse shoes are located in the small shed beside garage.

Garage attached to house is locked and off limits to guests.

Fire wood provided. Located behind the small shed.

Guests have access to all the property except the garage.

Other things to note
We are located a short drive to almost anything you could think of! Abanakee Lake, Adirondack Lake, Indian Lake, Cedar and Hudson River, a sandy beach, playground/basketball court, boat launch, kayak launches, snowmobile trails, fishing areas, Gore Mountain and hiking trails galore, ADK Museum, multiple rafting company’s, Revolutionary Rail, etc. Guest are welcome to use the two kayaks located on the shed. Life vests and yard games (washer board, horse shoes and corn hole) can be found in the shed. There is a small nature trail that goes around the back of the property marked by trail tags. Kayaks will need to be transported by your vehicle to local public lake access points. This information can be located in the welcome packet along with other local attractions, stores, restaurants, etc.

Welcome to our fully renovated log cabin home nestled in Indian Lake, located in the heart of the Adirondack State Park. The space
This 2 bedroom 1 bathroom log cabin was fully renovated in 2023. Inside you will be greeted by a cozy living room with a beautiful stone gas fireplace, memory foam leather sectional, and 55'' TV. The fully stocked kitchen is equipped with brand new appliances and everything you need to whip up a delicious meal. Gated front deck offers a weber gas grill and stunning mountain views. Each bedroom has a memory foam queen mattress, double nightstands, 6 drawer dresser, humidifier, and ceiling fan. Linens and towels are included. Basement offers a Samsung washer and dryer as well as a custom built bar with seating for 6, 55'' TV, extra fridge, large speaker, ring toss and dart board. Enjoy yourself in the outdoor electric sauna or hot tub! House is equipped with high speed fiber optic internet, and central air with AC. Outdoor firepit with mountain views.

Driveway to upper parking lot is steep, the trade off of a gorgeous mountain view. In winter months all wheel drive is recommended. However there is parking at the lower section of the driveway.

Wooded neighborhood with access to Indian Lake. We generally enjoy a short walk to the lake and the private dock. Located within the Adirondack State Park, a diverse mountainous landscape complete with hiking trails, downhill or X-country skiing, cycling, snowmobile, and swimming. It is a peaceful, quiet neighborhood, perfect for relaxing unwinding. Come home to new full kitchen with a gas grill on the spacious deck. Nighttime gatherings at the bonfire.

The space
A straight stairlift is the ultimate staircase solution from the basement entrance giving you full use of this beautiful home in the woods. There are two bedrooms on the main floor, both newly furnished with queen beds. Use the Bluetooth technology on your smartphone to adjust the firmness of the sleep number bed in the main bedroom (down the hall on the right). The next flight of stairs brings you to the loft, with a half bath. Children of all ages will love sleeping in the loft, equipped with two full-sized beds and a twin.

---Guests have the option of checking in with the hosts and getting a quick orientation, or going direct to the cabin, if they're able to find their way. In either case, please let us know which you'd prefer to do, and what time you think you might arrive, so that we'll know whether or not to be waiting for you.

---There is limited cell phone service on the premises, but wider service is available a couple of minutes drive away. We do have premium wifi, which is suitable for VoIP phoning, available for a surcharge.

---Bring your own bed linens and towels and get premium WiFi for free, plus a rebate of $30, plus another $20 per each additional bed.
Otherwise the WiFi upgrade is $30 (payable on site) for broadband fibre (fine for streaming and conferencing). Pillows & blankets and free basic WiFi are always provided, with or without the rebate offer.

--- EV charging is Level 2, providing 240 volt current through standard 50 amp outdoor, three-prong receptacles. It is centrally located, and there is a fee.

---Well-behaved pets are allowed, as long as certain simple rules are followed:
-Dogs must be walked on leashes.
-Owners must clean up after their pets.
- Dogs are not allowed in the cabin when they're wet.
-Owners who take their dogs to the waterfront should avoid areas where others are swimming or sunbathing.
-Pets are not allowed on the furniture.
-Cats must not scratch the furniture or other items in the cabins.
-Dogs must not be left alone in the cabin all day.*
-Dogs must be kept from barking and disturbing the other guests.**
There is a pet surcharge. This charge is necessary to pay for the extra cleaning required to keep our cabin allergen-free.
-Owners are responsible for any damage caused by their pets.
-Be sure to inform us, when making reservations, if you wish to bring along your pet.
-Packs of dogs are not be allowed. You'll need special permission to bring more than one pet.

*Animals that are normally quiet at home may bark or howl when they're left behind in strange surroundings. If this proves to be the case, you'll need to take your pet with you at all times so that other guests aren't disturbed.
**If your dog is a chronic barker, it's not going to be a good fit. Please board your pet instead of bringing it along. If, however, it's simply territorial and likely only to bark at passersby; please discuss this with us, so we can help you locate a cabin where this won't be an issue, and other guests won't be disturbed.

Power Outage Information
Being in the middle of the Adirondacks, occasional power outages can occur. However, in my experience, they have never lasted long.

Generator Instructions

Location: The generator is in the basement.
Breaker Box: Located in the basement (far right corner at the bottom of the stairs).
Steps to Operate:
Turn off all house power using the breaker switch with the butterfly bracket.
Switch on the breaker connected to the generator.
Locate the gasoline can under the back deck, stored inside a metal trash bin.
Plug the generator into the outlet on the wall outside the back door (under the deck).
Pull-start the generator.
Note: Detailed instructions are available on top of the generator.

When you step onto the ground floor, you're welcomed into a cozy living room with a soft couch and TV—perfect for winding down. Just next door, the kitchen is fully equipped, featuring an island, stovetop, and refrigerator, all flowing seamlessly into the dining area. A modern bathroom, complete with a shower, adds a touch of convenience.

Upstairs, a loft-style sitting area invites you to relax, with a balcony that overlooks the lush backyard. The scene is framed by young ferns and tall pines, all kept company by a wood-fired soak tub—ideal for a peaceful retreat. Beyond that, you'll find two inviting bedrooms. One has a plush king-sized bed and generous closet space, while the other boasts a striking A-frame window, offering a beautiful view of the land below. Lie on the handmade platform bed beneath a sky full of stars.

Guest access
You'll have access to the entire home, backyard and parking area. The only inaccessible area is the shed and the front closet.

Other things to note
Indian Lake receives quite a lot of snowfall during the months of December through March. We require that guests who stay with us during these months utilize an AWD or 4WD vehicle to ensure safe travel and full access to Pieces.

Some firewood is provided outside. However, we recommend picking up additional dry firewood & kindling to get your fires started.

The hot tub is wood fired, meaning it will take time to start a fire and warm up the water. There is an operating guide provided, but if there are further questions about operating the hot tub, before or during your stay, please let us know.
