We have a laundry room that guests may use during their stay located in the basement, but the rest of the basement is off limits.

The house has Starlink satellite internet. It’s perfect for working remote and streaming. Starlink internet is not equipped for heavy downloading or gaming.

We offer Amazon Firestick on the projector so you can stream Netflix, YouTube, Prime, HBO, etc. Please come prepared with your own streaming accounts as there are only Prime, Netflix, and Youtube accounts.

We ask that guests do not bring gaming consoles or connect any additional electronic device to the projector, sound system, move around furniture, or unplug any wires and cables. This will disrupt the entertainment system for the next guests.

Please be respectful of our home and our belongings. A lot of love, time, and effort has gone into making this space as comfortable as possible and we hope to share it for a long time.

Getting Around:
Casa Magda is just 2.5 hours from New York City, and while having a car for transportation in the area is recommended, you can also take the Adirondack Trailways Charter bus. The bus departs from Port Authority Bus Termina and conveniently drops you off at Valero gas station, a 5-minute drive from the house.
In the winter, we recommend a car with four-wheel drive that can handle the snow and gravel roads.

Other Things to Note:
** Please note that this house has a sensitive septic system. Guests should monitor toilet paper usage to avoid issues. Proper usage should prevent any problems, but should septic issues result directly from overuse, guests may be liable for septic repair and cleanup costs up to $3500.

For guests who prefer to sleep separately, up to 4 single beds are available upstairs; let us know if you'd like the loft beds made during your stay.

There is a portable A/C in the living room, and fans are provided for all rooms. There is electric baseboard heating throughout the home including heated floors in the bathroom.

The lodge is situated at the end of a long, hemlock lined, private driveway. Once inside the lodge, your group will find great spaces to be together and plenty of bedrooms to spread out and have your own personal space. The main floor has a large kitchen, dining room and great room that is great for gathering groups but cozy and comfortable for any size family or group. Can't go to a your favorite sporting event...? Get together this fall for that big football game at our place and watch on our 65" 4K HDTV. The first floor has a large common area with a 75" 4K HDTV, a pool table and a dart board. *Please note that if you are looking for additional space, please inquire about the Caretaker's Apartment. This space is available for you to rent along with the main lodge. This space is never rented to other guests when you rent the main lodge. The Caretaker's Apartment is attached to the main house with a private entrance. It has a kitchen, bathroom, living room, dining area and bedroom. The bedroom has a king bed and the living room has a twin day bed with an additional twin mattress underneath. The two chairs in the living room also fold out into beds. The space can be utilized for a variety of purposes: grandparents, newlyweds, group members that require private quarters, a teenage retreat, dedicated work space for corporate groups... etc. Please see the pictures in the gallery.

**To rent the lodge at Dancing Horse Farm, the primary renter must be on site and must be at least 25 years of age. Unfortunately, the property is not available to rent for prom parties, senior school parties, or similar gatherings. A driver's license, state or federal identification is required prior to booking.

All in all, we had a wonderful time at Greg’s property and I would highly recommend it."

The house is located just five minutes from the town of Windham, full of great restaurants and shopping. For skiers, the house is only a 5 minute drive to the mountain.

The cabin is perfect for small groups and larger families, as it sleeps 10 comfortably. The house has a master bedroom with a king-sized bed and master bathroom complete with a soaking tub. Upstairs, there is a second bedroom with a king bed and third bedroom with two single beds. The fourth bedroom is in the basement with bunk beds (twin over full), and there is pull out couch in the living room and a large couch in the basement. There are 2.5 baths.

You’ll be greeted the moment you arrive by our stoic Buck Statues found at the entrance of the driveway. Continue onward to find Antler Ridge’s breathtaking Estate, privately situated on 6-plus acres with spectacular panoramic mountain views from just about every room and corner of the property. When you enter the home you will walk into the large family room that boasts a high log-beamed vaulted ceiling and large windows to take advantage of the spectacular mountain views. The room has a large sectional sofa, two armchairs, flat-screen TV, and a floor-to-ceiling stone wood-burning fireplace. As you move ahead you will enter the kitchen which is equipped with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and a large center island that seats 6. You will also find all plates, glasses, and utensils waiting to be set at the dining table which also seats 6. Continue through to the master bedroom (Bedroom #1) equipped with a flat-screen TV and ensuite which has double sinks, jetted tub, and a stall shower. You can also access the deck from the master bedroom! Walk upstairs to a large but cozy sitting area where you can play chess or just relax and read a book, or even watch TV from the family room below. There are 3 bedrooms individually decorated in a woodland/cabin theme. Bedroom #2 has 1 queen bed, Bedroom #3 has 2 full beds, and bedroom #4 has two 2 full beds. A full bathroom complete with a tub/shower combo is centrally located in the main hall. This home sleeps 14 comfortably. Come back down the stairs and head down to the lower level. Yes, we saved the best for last!… a fully furnished walkout game room that has all the ingredients for a good time: a flat-screen TV, foosball, air hockey, ping pong, pool table, poker table, arcade games, a dartboard, bar, and an electric fireplace. This space also leads out to the lower patio with a hot tub, and seasonal seating. And for the kids or gamers who don’t want to leave our fantastic Game Room, you’ll also find bedroom #5 with two twin beds! Lastly, step outside to relax on the deck, soak in the hot tub, grill on the patio, or toast marshmallows around the fire pit! Oh and don’t forget our putting green for the adults to practice and a swing set for the kiddos!! So, come and relax, unwind and enjoy the luxury, quiet, and calmness that the Catskills has to offer. Or, if relaxing isn’t your thing and adventure is, we are located just 4 miles from Windham Mountain which has many trails to ski and snowboard, and snow tubing. There is a sky ride, bike park, golfing, fishing, kayaking,canoeing, and many walking and hiking trails. Although shops and restaurants are only a 10-minute drive away, the area feels peaceful, private, and secluded.

Stanley’s Mountain Getaway is named after our 4-year-old Sheepadoodle! The 12-acre property has plenty of room for your furry friends to run and play and even has a .75 mile private trail into the forest. Save space while packing; we’ve got a pet bed, bowls, toys, and treats for your stay.

For our guests without dogs, don’t worry! We take extra care to make sure all of our guests are as happy here as our four-legged friends!

Surrounding Area:

Just 2.5 hours from NYC and 3 hours from Boston, the cabin is a 3-minute drive from downtown Windham, NY where you can enjoy great bars and restaurants in “The Gem of the Catskills”. Our personal favorite is Millrock for their fresh-caught fish and brick oven pizzas!

The property is located right in the middle of the Catskills where you can enjoy hiking, skiing, mountain biking, fishing, ATVing, archery, snowshoeing, and a host of other outdoor activities.

If skiing or snowboarding is your thing, we’re less than 20 minutes from two great ski resorts (Windham & Hunter) and 45 minutes from Belleayre.

All guests who book will be emailed our complimentary guide to the area including restaurants, bars, hikes, and other things to do.

We live here in the off-season, and store our personal belongings in the space above the garage, hence the locked door. Don't worry you're not missing out on our hoards of family photos :)

Guests will be able to check themselves in with a wifi-enabled keypad, the code is changed after each stay!

We are situated on a private lane with 2 other homes, we rarely see our neighbors beyond driving in. We are located through the log arch at the end of the long driveway.

We are located on a private lane, and 3 min from Downtown Windham. There's no public transportation or Uber within the city, we will provide you with the local Taxi number when you arrive. Also, there is ample parking in the driveway.

- "The stay at your beautiful cabin should be on everyone's bucket list to do! We've stayed at many cabins over the years and this one by far has been the best yet!!! This awesome house built from top to bottom with wooden logs has so much detail, it's just amazing to study and enjoy as it's so unique! It felt welcoming from the minute we walked in! Everything is well kept, organized, and clean. We cooked many meals in the large kitchen with double oven and used the grill as well, and nothing was missing from those kitchen cabinets! The huge family room held our extended family of 13 with room to spare! The beautiful wood burning fireplace kept it cozy and warm. The high ceilings made it feel so roomy and awesome to enjoy. The table was long enough all 12 could sit at the table for meals. The extra game table was great as we left the playmobile etc. set up the whole time there. The hot tub was so new and beautiful it also had so many cool light features. The fact that its steps from the bar made it really convenient as well! She also left us beach towels which was great. The huge garage fit all four of our cars which was so convenient for unpacking as it was pouring rain when we got there. It is perfect for all ages as we had our grandchildren there and they enjoyed the seesaw and the darling treehouse. The adults enjoyed the gorgeous outdoor fire pit. Such a private setting you can see any neighbor from the property it feels like your own oasis! The host Kyra was so accommodating and was even able to make a date switch at no extra fee when we had something come up in the family. She was a pleasure to work with. We will be back and for longer next time!"

We especially appreciated the host's help in determining if we would be comfortable since my wife uses a wheelchair, and they sent us all the information we asked for! So grateful. - "House is in great condition and property is nice. Location is convenient - just beyond the village of Windham. Fire pit was great during our summer stay." - "The location and layout of the home was ideal for our family, but we were underwhelmed by the condition of the home. Many of the ceiling lights were not working, and the main living area was very dark. Plan to eat most meals out and you won’t be disappointed as the kitchen was not well stocked to prepare food (no spatulas or measuring cups) the ice maker made ice but did not dispense it and the filter for water was due to be replaced. The washing machine did not work and despite addressing it on the second day of our stay, it was not fixed. The linens are kept under lock and key so make sure you confirm the number of towels and sheets you need prior to your arrival. We were provided with the wrong contact info in our welcome email so there was delay in reaching the property manager. The property had a nice slope which was great for our kids (who are too young to ski) to sled. The basement was fun and spacious."

Welcome! You are viewing our cozy 3500-square-foot cabin tucked away on 5.80 acres in the beautiful and scenic hills of Windham, NY. Our house is located on a private road, within an 11-minute drive to Windham Mountain, a 25-minute drive to Hunter Mountain, a 50-minute ride to Woodstock, and a 40-minute drive to the Town of Catskill. Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape.

The home comfortably accommodates 11-13 guests and more if needed with 3 other couches, cots, and sofa beds. This home is the perfect getaway and offers an outdoor fire pit, indoor state of the art wood stove, outdoor barbecue, deck, front porch, and proximity to the best hiking in the state.

You'll have full access to the entire space and property. We just ask that you respect the items in the two locked sheds on the property.

We provide a grill, indoor wood stove, and outdoor fire pit. Guests are welcome to bring their own grilling utensils.
