Please note that our home is in the mountains and in a very rural area. We share our mountain with all of the woodland creatures that inhabit the area. Guests MUST not leave any food or trash outdoors. If you use the grill, it must be cleaned and covered before you go to bed. Black bears, coyotes, raccoons and other animals live in these mountains and are masters at sniffing out food.

Also, in the winter, our road gets plowed after significant snow events (over 3"). We highly recommend that our guests travel to the Chalet in vehicles that are equipped to handle winter in the mountains (all wheel or 4x4 drive).

Additional visitors and guests not part of the booking are not permitted unless approved by the hosts.

NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND IS PERMITTED INSIDE THE CABIN.

Please do not charge your electric cars using our house power. There is a charging station at Windham Mountain for your convenience.

Tap water is clean and safe to drink but we also have an RO system in the kitchen.

Windham Mountain Ski Lodge and slopes is across the road from our complex. There is no need to drive and park there. Save time waiting in traffic to get in and out of the ski area. Short Walk to Magic Carpet that takes you up to the lodge.

In master bedroom upstairs is a King size bed with full bathroom .
In second bedroom downstairs , two twin beds( can be put together to make it a king)and a full size bunk bed with full bathroom. Also, a small futon (can fit 2 small kids or 1 adult) in living room.

This Bavarian styled home had a modern rustic charm, with spacious rooms, a comfortable couch with a huge smart TV, soft fluffy beds that you can luxuriously sink into, a small den downstairs with another smart TV and laundry, two full baths (upstairs and downstairs), loads of natural light, full kitchen with all the amenities you need, dining table for 6 and a fireplace to cozy up to (the host gave us an ample amount of wood for both inside and outside the home). Step outside and a beautiful forest stands at the edge of the backyard. Luscious green grass, gardens, a spacious deck with a table for 6, an easy-to-use hot tub and a firepit. It was wonderful watching the stars at night as we soaked in the hot tub, chatting around the firepit, being visited by two lunar moths, waking up to the sounds of birds chirping and being lulled to sleep by the hoot of an owl outside our bedroom window. A truly relaxing stay that had my sister singing “Oh What a Beautiful Morning” when we ventured to have coffee on the front deck. Our host Ray provided us with a huge list of places to eat and visit and was very responsive when questions arose. We were a little sad to leave when our time to check-out came. Payment/Refund Policy: Unless otherwise stated on the property listing, all payments are non-refundable, however, should the guest elect to cancel its reservation, Marquis will use best efforts to work with the owner of the property to reopen the dates of the reservation in attempt to re-book the property (please note the decision to reopen dates is the owners'). Should Marquis be successful in re-booking the property for the original dates at the same or higher price than the original reservation, a refund less a 20% penalty, calculated as 20% on the total reservation amount, will be issued to the guest once payment is collected in full for the new reservation. If a new reservation is not made, the guest may use the property for the dates of its original reservation so long as payments have been made in accordance with the payment schedule established at the time of booking and Marquis is notified in writing 72 hours or more prior to the start of the reservation.

Casa Magda is just 2.5 hours from New York City, and while having a car for transportation in the area is recommended, you can also take the Adirondack Trailways Charter bus. The bus departs from Port Authority Bus Termina and conveniently drops you off at Valero gas station, a 5-minute drive from the house.
In the winter, we recommend a car with four-wheel drive that can handle the snow and gravel roads.

For guests who prefer to sleep separately, up to 4 single beds are available upstairs; let us know if you'd like the loft beds made during your stay.

The house has Starlink satellite internet. It’s perfect for working remote and streaming. Starlink internet is not equipped for heavy downloading or gaming.

We offer Amazon Firestick on the projector so you can stream Netflix, YouTube, Prime, HBO, etc. Please come prepared with your own streaming accounts as there are only Prime, Netflix, and Youtube accounts.

We ask that guests do not bring gaming consoles or connect any additional electronic device to the projector, sound system, move around furniture, or unplug any wires and cables. This will disrupt the entertainment system for the next guests.

The house doesn’t have air conditioning, but we provide fans in all the rooms. There is electric baseboard heating throughout the home including heated floors in the bathroom.

We’ve just installed a small full kitchen and you are just minutes from the town's excellent and numerous bars and eateries. There is a mini fridge at the base of the water cooler too.

If you have any special requests, simply let us know and we'll do what we can to make them happen.

There is a large garden that's just perfect to play some catch or build snowmen together with an unbridled view of the Windham ski / mountain biking area.

There is a washer dryer on the premises (let us know if you wish to use and we will arrange access to the utility room) and private driveway. You are welcome to park in the garage if it is not in use.

The space
The Crescent Moon Cabin is a 14x16 ft hand sewn tent with permanent walls and a roof that you can drive right up to. This space has a queen bed with organic bedding, accommodating only two people. Should it get chilly at night, there is a baseboard heater. A private outdoor bath house with outhouse and shower- hot and cold water (for bathing only).

There is an outdoor fire pit to enjoy, a charcoal grill (charcoal supplied) and a corn hole set. The entire space can be lit up at night with outdoor string lights that span the entire site.

While the space is remote, there is cell service for calls and texting. The Cabin also has wall outlets and charging ports for cellphones in the bedside lamps.

There is also a newly renovated camper on the property (North Star Camper) that accommodates two guests that you can add to your reservation for an additional fee.

We acquire our water through a rain barrel collection system for bathing.
It travels through a water purifying system before the hot water heater and is a delightful refreshing shower.

The property is exclusively your own little mountain retreat during your stay. Should you require additional space for sleeping, North Star Camper is available to rent.

Should you wish to travel by Amtrak to Hudson NY station. You may reserve a ride for $50.00 each way for 1st person and $12 for each additional person. This is a 35-40 minute drive. Should you arrive by bus at the Windham NY location. Transportation is $10.00.

Your get the whole townhouse. There is plenty of parking on the side bc its a corner unit. There's a nice grassy area there if kids wanted to play soccer, throw a football or play corn hole. My kids once built snow igloos out there!

Oh yes! The Catskills mountain air is addictive and you will want to figure out how to put it in a jar and take it home with you. Please let us know if you figure how to do that!!!!

It's a 2 minute drive to Windham Mountain Ski Resort, a 10 minute drive to Hunter Mountain, and just a few steps to over 10+ restaurants, bars and cafes, as well as family-friendly shopping, gas station/minimart, mini-golf, a movie theater, arcade and LIVE music!! The space
Our condo is located on Main Street above the Tap House. This sought after location has access to everything Windham! The condo has free parking & WIFI, high ceilings, with many windows that have a view of Main Street and back sliding doors to deck with view of Windham Mountain. The main bedroom has an attached flex area that has a trundle bed and can sleep 2 extra guests comfortably. The other bedroom has 2 single twin beds. The units has 2 full bathrooms, an in-unit washer & dryer, a fully equipped kitchen and cozy back porch with a view of the slopes. We are family and dog friendly - enjoy games, books, puzzle and toys.

Spacious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom townhouse minutes to Windham Mountain. Enjoy beautiful wood-burning fireplace, Roku TV and high speed Wi-Fi perfect for remote work. Amenities include outdoor pool (open from Memorial through Labor Day), pickleball, basketball and tennis courts, as well as a fire pit with Adirondack chairs. Very close to town and the amazing escarpment hiking and Elm Ridge mountain bike trails.

The space
This is a spacious two bedroom, two bathroom condo, with a fully-stocked kitchen and a living room with fireplace. Full kitchen, oven & stove-top, fridge, microwave, coffee maker and dishwasher. There is a large private back deck to enjoy the outdoors.
The spacious master bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed. The second bedroom has twin over full bunk beds and a separate twin bed. There are two full baths, one on each floor.
Relax in our living room on the new comfy couch which faces the wood-burning fireplace. The living room also features a flat screen TV with Roku. High speed WiFi perfect for remote work. A variety of favorite board games for you and yours to enjoy. A roaring fire will keep you warm even on the coldest nights.
The condo comes fully stocked with all the essentials you need to have your ultimate mountain escape! Towels, linens and toiletries are provided. Ideal for 6 people to enjoy.
The condo has A/C for the summer months. There is also a tower fan in each bedroom.

Guest access
Guests will receive a lock box code upon booking. You will have access to the whole condo including all of the complex amenities: laundry in complex (different building & coin operated), outdoor pool (open from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend) and two tennis courts.

Other things to note
Early bird check-in (9am) and Twilight check-out (5 pm) are available for a fee. Subject to availability.

Bring your firewood with you or pick it up in Hickory Hill Market down the road or gas station nearby.

There are security cameras located above the front door overlooking the parking lot to ensure safety of our guests. It does not look into any interior spaces.

Our house sits on a private land of 12 acres where you don’t see any neighbor’s houses nor hear any traffic on the road.
Only a couple of hours away from New York City, Catskills is a well known getaway with a charming rustic and rural feel. People come here all year around for hiking, skiing and, of course, fall foliage.

The space
Our two-level barrel-shape house sits on a private land of 12 acres, with plenty of woods to explore and deer and other animals to be spotted. A very large lawn in the front provides a open yet secluded playground, with a fire pit and a grass maze.

Our house is architecturally exciting - south facing curved windows provide a panoramic view of Windham ski mountain with plenty of sun throughout the day. Opening the second floor door is a south-facing porch with spectacular view and is equipped with a gas grill and an automatic awning for shade. The highly functional kitchen comes with a newly installed dishwasher and many small cooking appliances including waffle maker, air fryer and instant pot. We keep many ingredients and spices for both western and Asian cooking.

The master bedroom has a king sized bed with a TV on the wall and its own bathroom. The guest room also has a king sized bed. The second bathroom has a bathtub and shower. In addition, we also have an outdoor shower heated by the sun, that can be used on sunny days to feel completely in nature.

Downstairs is our entertainment area: brand new pool table, excise machine, yoga mats and hand weights. For our guests pleasure, you are also welcome to try our compound bow and electric pottery wheel. Or you may just want to sit on the couch watching Netflix, Amazon prime and other movie channels. Both upstairs and downstairs have fireplace as well as pull-out couch.

The house is only a few minutes away by car from Windham, one of the most charming towns in Catskills, where you may find artisanal shops, ethnic restaurants and a fabulous French bakery. Windham ski area is only 8 minute away from us and Hunter ski mountain is 20 minutes away. There are plenty of hiking trials in the area, and two beautiful golf courses within 15 minutes.
