The population of Florida is about 700 and is on top of the Hoosac Mountain Range in the most picturesque portion of the historic Mohawk Trail. You need a car to get around. With a little planning you could have flowers, cute teddy bear or other gifts awaiting your arrival in the cabin. Wayne has built an outdoor oasis complete with the lover's swing, the charcoal grill, the picnic table, the stump table and the romantic string lights to extend the amorous atmosphere even after sun down. Wayne also stacks dry/split firewood neatly right near the firepit so you can start a campfire easily. In the winter Wayne plows the driveway multiple times (the first time before 8am so you will be able to get in/out without any problem). Extras! Or spend the day exploring the many surrounding towns with antiques, restaurants and shopping galore; take a drive down a country road looking for roadside farm stands; go for a long walk in the woods; or explore the nearby rock quarry (the app AllTrails is a must have for this!). At night, have dinner at an outdoor restaurant, grill on the deck, relax with a glass of wine on the porch, roast marshmallows, do a puzzle, or enjoy your favorite streaming on our Roku TV with Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and more. The house has one large main room with living and kitchen areas, and two small bedrooms.
The larger room has a queen bed with a comfy mattress and luxurious linens. The smaller bedroom has a full-size bed and narrow twin upper bunk (for children only). Greetings from John at the American House! This is the perfect getaway to destress and relax! This is an original Lincoln Logs home, nestled in two and a half acres of private woodland, with 100 feet of lake frontage. No noisy omotorboats at this end of the lake, just lots of wildlife and an occasional canoe or kayak. A hand crafted canoe is ready for your enjoyment, as well as 3 kayaks. Very private property with almost anything you may need provided down by the water, including an outdoor screen with projector and a dock for launching the canoe and kayaks. Check out the pictures!

Cabin sleeps five, with a queen bed in the master bedroom on main floor, a double log bed and a queen bed in the loft, as well as a twin rollaway in walk in closet. The bathroom is off the spacious den. There is an air conditioner in the master bedroom. Normally the cabin stays quite cool by following a few easy tips. Please help yourselves to the well stocked kitchen and linens. A brand new gas stove is in kitchen. Large TV in the den with lots of movies to watch. Two twelve by twelve foot Canopies right on the water with a stocked fire pit and hammocks nearby. Electricity, WIFI, refrigerator and rain barrel all conveniently located. Large outdoor screen with Bluetooth speaker for viewing movies or concerts also down by the water. New, a private screened gazebo right on the water with a gas firepit 100 ft from the main area (where the tent used to be).

This time for our 20th anniversary and nothing could be better than a place surrounded by peace to connect with your life partner. There was a small hiccup when we arrived but it was swiftly handle by owner. We couldn’t have had a better get away. We will be back!" - "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mill River. Very tranquil area with wonderful walking trails near by. The river and dam on the property were more entertaining than television. The cabin was well stocked, especially the kitchen, and very comfortable for our week stay. We hope to return some day!"
