Newly renovated 1920’s cabin style home nestled on 4 acres in the Catskill Mountains. Very easy to get to and conveniently located near great restaurants, skiing, hiking, tubing, fishing, and swimming holes.

Wide open living space includes the living, dining room and kitchen. Snuggle up in front of the fireplace with a board game or build you own fire in the outdoor firepit. The cozy cabin-sized bedrooms each off of the main living space are in close proximity. They each have a memory foam mattress, white noise machine with a nightlight, USB charging ports and drawers and hooks for clothing. During the summer months (June-Sept) there is a windowed AC unit in each bedroom.

There is a ton of outdoor space to enjoy in addition to our seasonal pool (Late May-Mid Sept). Our newly added 6 person hot tub is available all year round. Be sure to check out our stream frontage across the street. It's the perfect spot for a much needed recharge with family and friends.

A 1900 craftsman ski/fishing lodge with all the warmth and charms of a stone fireplace, wood beamed ceilings and douglas fir floors, but fully updated with the modern comforts of home including two remodeled (2024) full bathrooms. The interior Lodge is nestled in spectacular Woodland Valley – a short two hour drive from New York City and just down a two lane road to one of America’s coolest towns, Phoenicia.

Ground Floor:
You enter the Lodge into the Main Lodge room where you'll sit and chat for hours as you solve the world's wonders from two leather sofas in front of a river stone fireplace which is constructed from our own Woodland Valley Stream stones. A new propane furnace keeps the Lodge toasty in winter, and an iron, sealed, Danish, wood burning fireplace adds ambiance and mad charm!

The Lodge decor is themed on the great western US National Parks, and of course on New York’s own Catskills Park (since we are located in the middle of Catskill Park!). Think Pendleton wool blankets for color! The Yellowstone master bedroom and the Rainier bedroom are downstairs off of the Main Lodge room, and each sleeps two in queen beds. The Screening / Reading room, also located off of the Main Lodge, is another cozy spot to sit and read or binge Netflix on a leather sofa there with your feet on the ottoman. There is a newly remodeled (early 2024) full bathroom - iron soaking tub and rain shower - as you walk from the Main Lodge room to the kitchen. Entering the kitchen, you'll face the Wolf range and feel the natural light flooding in from windows on two walls of the kitchen. The breakfast table seats 6-8, and 2 more can eat at the countertop nook on two counter stools. Walking through the kitchen then past the other modern Bosch and Samsung appliances, you will enter the Catskills dining room. This table is set for 6, but we seat 10 there at holidays. Here you can sit drinking your coffee either at the large stone topped table or in one of the two lounge chairs with lambskin padding and watch nature through the windows on three sides. In summer, listen to the bucolic bubbling of the Woodland Valley Stream as you drink your coffee, and in winter watch the snow fall as you still hear the faint creek sounds through the windows. The Catskill dining room is also perfect for board games.

Music love is also fed at the Lodge as we included Sonos One players in both the kitchen and the main Lodge room. You can stream from Spotify or any music app on your phone or device.

Second Floor:
The Glacier bedroom is at the top of the stairs upstairs and also sleeps two in a queen bed, while the Yosemite bedroom across the hallway sleeps four (2 on the bunk beds and another 2 - if under age 16 - in separate twin beds). The upstairs bathroom was also recently remodeled (early 2024) and your little ones will LOVE the Bear Cave which is a hidden kids hangout upstairs!

The scenery surrounding the Lodge is spectacular and just outside your door. Mountains are on all sides. Watch deer with their fawns below you from the Catskill room as you drink your morning coffee or play board games or cards. Fish for brown, rainbow, and brook trout, or enjoy a refreshing swim in the creek. Hike or snowshoe the many nearby trails. Sit around the firepit at night in six black Adirondack chairs listening to the wood crackle and the creek passing just feet away.

The Lodge brings the US National Parks to you two hours from the city. Come spend some time - relax and energize with nature all around you.

Enter through a three-season porch with seating, then step into a cozy living room with a pull-out sofa bed, smart TV (Roku), and an updated kitchen-dining area. The back of the cabin features a modern bathroom with a tub/shower, and a bedroom with a queen bed, dresser, and bench.

Kitchen & Amenities:
The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, pots, pans, and utensils. We also provide coffee, tea, sugar, olive oil, and salt & pepper.

Our main house is about 50 yards from the cabins, so while we’re nearby if you need anything, we respect your privacy during your stay. Next-door neighbors are on either side, which may be visible during the winter as there isn’t any greenery.

The cabin is 720 sq f and it’s sitting on 11 ac of fields and woods. It’s on a private road and at the end of it so it’s very private. Also, next to the beautiful Sunny Hill Golf Resort. House has a big deck to the south and east and an outside shower. Table with 6 chairs and umbrella and to chaise chairs with a small table. Cabin is small but had everything you need. Spacious bathroom with a shower, toilet, sink, washer/dryer. Bedroom is a good size with a flat screen tv and a drawer unit for my guests, comfortable bed as well. Kitchen is fully equipped with a 36” pro gas stove, dishwasher, nice refrigerator, microwave, drip coffee maker and all kinds of kitchen equipment. Dining table with 4 chairs. Living room has a comfortable big sofa, who chairs and a big flat screen tv.

Just a 2.5-hour drive from NYC, you can escape to a relaxing, newly built and furnished modern cabin on five acres of wooded land. The house is located just five minutes from the town of Windham, full of great restaurants and shopping. For skiers, the house is only a 5 minute drive to the mountain.

The cabin is perfect for small groups and larger families, as it sleeps 10 comfortably. The house has a master bedroom with a king-sized bed and master bathroom complete with a soaking tub. Upstairs, there is a second bedroom with a king bed and third bedroom with two single beds. The fourth bedroom is in the basement with bunk beds (twin over full), and there is pull out couch in the living room and a large couch in the basement. There are 2.5 baths.

The cabin features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, perfect for accommodating families or groups. The open living area boasts reclaimed heart pine floors, hand-hewn beams and panels, and a wood-burning fireplace for cozy nights in. Relax in the adjacent reading and TV nook, enjoy a coffee or glass of wine at the dedicated station, or cook up a feast in our fully equipped kitchen with a warm, inviting vibe. Each bedroom offers new beds with premium 100% linen and organic cotton bedding for a restful night’s sleep:

-We have a brand-new hot tub! It’s awesome! Use at your own risk.
-Black bears frequent this part of the Catskills - please be mindful when outside. Do not leave food outside and properly dispose of trash in the bear-proof bins.
-We allow pets, limited to one well behaved dog. A $50 pet fee will be incurred.
-You can rest easy knowing your stay is covered with $1,500 in “All-Risk” Damage Protection. Although rare, accidental damage from guests does happen. All accidental damage from a guest is covered unless specifically excluded such as but not limited to, normal wear and tear, infestation, or prior damage.

The house is one level and opens to a large open area with a dining room, and sunk-in kitchen, and living room. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms make up the rest of the house. There is a front porch with a few stairs to climb to get to the front door and a covered back porch with a fenced in backyard. Built in 1999, and with a lot of the original features, I like to call it “Y2K-chic.”

• We don't offer daily housekeeper however, if you need it, we can certainly make arrangements for an additional cost

4. Do you replace towels and sheets?

5. Do you replenish supplies?
• Our homes are self-catering. We are happy to provide you with the initial supplies to get you started. Once that runs out, you'll need to purchase more on your own.

Through renting my house and guests being introduced to the surrounding beauty of the area, several former renters are now property owners in Sleepy Hollow Lake. Located in the old river town of Athens - little has changed in over two hundred years. The lighthouse in the Hudson offers tours during summer. Many old, historic houses remain as they were. Both Athens and Coxsackie have charming parks sitting on the Hudson. They offer summer concerts and waterfront dining as the seasons permit. One steps back in time here and finds things still lovely, still fairly secret, as the towns nestles in the foothills of the Catskills known as the Hudson Valley.

Built in 1900, this home features a unique craftsmanship in every room. There are views into the forest from the custom windows, a chef's kitchen, excellent library, vinyl records and two woodstoves. Birdwatch while taking a bath, light up the grill at the pagoda, sit outside under the stars beside the fire pit, or listen to the creek from the master bedroom.

Guests who love rural settings, including wildlife and making fires in the modern Danish woodstove, will feel at home here.

We welcome children and can provide a bassinet, pack n' play, and baby gates for the stairs and wood stove. In winter, guests should use a 4WD or AWD vehicle to navigate the driveway to the house and be comfortable using the woodstove as the main heating source. The Cabin is private and peaceful. The front of the property has a sun drenched open lawn and front deck with sun chairs. The back faces a beautiful pond and woods bursting with nature! A family of deer resides right over the pond berm in the back yard and they will frequently give you a morning or a dusk visit.
The bedroom is huge with a king sized bed , a small lounge/reading area , a large flat screen smart TV, 16 foot hight vaulted ceiling and an electric fireplace.
Bathroom and laundry room are equipped for your convenience. Kitchen has full sized appliances and all the essentials for cooking a meal.
Living room has a sofa that converts to a large bed, a large flat screen smart TV and a propane fireplace. There are also two large decks. The back deck is facing the pond and woods and it’s fully screened in. It has an outdoor couch and coffee table, a breakfast table and lounge chairs. In the back yard you will find a picnic table and a fire pit that is equipped with complimentary firewood and starters.
The construction of the cabin is eco friendly intelligent design. The living room bathroom and kitchen are at 7 foot ceiling hight and the bedroom and laundry room are vaulted at 16ft ceiling hight at the pick. This unique design of a combo of a shipping container and wood framing with a huge canopy on top keeps the cabin cozy and protected from extreme heat in summer time and from severe weather in wintertime.
The cabin remains cool in summer and very easy to cool on very hot days and it is very quick easy to heat in winter time. With the two covered decks in front and back it creates a very comfortable indoor outdoor living experience.

A cozy space made even cozier by the wood-burning stove. It is very easy to operate and puts out a surprising amount of heat. As it's a single room, it heats everything up marvelously. The space is small but not tight, but rather cozy and intimate.
It's a very private and quiet place in nature.
Beautiful nearby hikes like Kaaterskill Falls.
The creek behind the house and the different decks to take advantage of it are very relaxing. The fireplace and chairs on the other side of the creek make it feel very private and expansive. Even with all this, it is still a short drive into Willow or Woodstock to get supplies. And of course plenty of nice hikes nearby.

The entire space, including the backyard lawn and land in the forest behind the cabin as well as the creek, is yours to use.
The bathroom is fully located inside and consists of the bathtub with shower glass door, as well as the toilet and sink separated behind the bathtub and located inside.
Outside you will find a barbecue grill and vegetable garden.

Welcome to our peaceful cabin in the rolling hills of the western Catskills. Unwind and recharge surrounded by nature on our 5.5 acres of pristine forest. Our house has 3 levels, is kid and pet friendly and features a large porch and patio. You can easily find yourself not wanting to leave the property but there are many outdoor activities to explore in the area, such as fishing, hiking or swimming, as well as dining options in nearby towns, such as Roscoe, Livingston Manor and Callicoon.

The space
The house has an open plan kitchen / dining room / living room with vaulted ceiling on the 1st floor, as well as the main bedroom, a smaller bedroom / nursery, and a full bath. Out the back door is a spacious porch with seating for 8, plus a glider and a Weber grill. Go upstairs to the loft to find another bedroom and full bath. Go downstairs to the ‘walk out’ ground floor for the second living room, including wood stove, 4th bedroom, and 3rd full bath, plus the laundry area and stone patio.

For remote workers, we have broadband internet wifi covering the house and porch, 3 desks to choose from, plus a narrow table in the loft that can be used in a pinch.

The house sits on 5.4 acres of pristine Catskills rocky forest, spread over the slope of Stadel Mountain. There’s a front lawn, back yard, and hiking trail that goes down the hill and back up again.

Guests have the run of the house, except for a few locked closets. They also have the whole property to explore, except for the barn which is also locked. We have a ~.25 mile hiking trail that goes down the hill loosely following the property border.

Our favorite past about the house is the opportunities to see animals and interact with nature.

In summer:

Want to see hummingbirds? Make some nectar! Heat 1 cup of water in the electric kettle pour into a glass and mix with 1/4 cup granulated sugar (you can find a bag in the cabinet below the kettle). Pour the mix into one of the red topped feeders, you’ll find them behind the glider on the porch, and then hang them from one of the two loops opposite.

In fall:

The chipmunks all around will be singing their hearts out on top of every rock and log. Keep an eye out for the big turkey family with their little turlets and of course all of the deer.

In winter:

Trace the tracks of the elusive red fox as the cross crosses the property looking for food. Kudos to you if you can spot him in person! The deer are also out in force so if you have an old pumpkin at home bring it and put it in the back yard, they’ll come east the whole thing for sure.

In spring:

This is the wet season so enjoy the serenade of the tree frogs and check out the seasonal ponds in the forest. Look out for crimson newts under every rock! You’ll also see toads hopping around in the leaves, careful not to step on them!

Four miles off Route 17, across a green truss bridge over the Beaver Kill, this '50s-era cabin on the creek will be your home as soon as you ease down the driveway from Burnwood Road. On the bank of Trout Brook, this simple, perfectly appointed lodge is quintessential Upstate NY -- secluded while accessible to Roscoe, Livingston Manor, and other popular city getaways. East Branch sits in the fly-fishing epicenter, with countless access points to the Beaver Kill and Delaware rivers.

The space
In the center of a lush, forest-lined, creekside three acre-plot, the 1955-built cabin was fully renovated in 2020, incorporating classic Americana elements into the rustic, yet finely crafted character of the existing space. Modern appliances share the kitchen with a gas stove and new, hand-treated butcher-block countertops. The water is completely spring-fed (you’ll want to fill up a few bottles from the outdoor spigot to take with you). The main cabin living area features an open-rafter ceiling that peaks at nearly twenty feet, with a wide-open picture window framing the wondrous creek and its forested bank. A big, beautifully aged wood door separates the two bedrooms and the fully renovated bathroom that includes a 1940s-era American Standard pedestal sink. Outside the cabin, a sprawling courtyard, paved with blue stone cut and finished in East Branch, includes hand-built picnic tables, ideal for morning coffee, meals any time of day, and hours of bliss soundtracked by gently roiling water. (And yes, there is a natural swimming hole just down a short trail on the property!)

Additionally, we have a bluetooth speaker, vintage board games, a TV with plenty of DVDs and old VHS tapes (plus streaming of course!) for all your entertainment needs.

Please note this is a seasonal cabin, which we open from May to October. It is uninsulated and will get chilly during the spring and fall months. While we do have heaters to keep you warm, there is no central heating.
