The space
The forward stateroom has a queen size bed. The midship stateroom has 2 bunkbeds. The cockpit is a perfect place to relax and enjoy a peaceful waterfront evening or morning sunrise. The galley is well equipped with fridge, keurig and microwave. Head (bathroom) includes shower, toilet and sink. Marina offers bathrooms and showers if you do not want to shower on the boat.

The Outlier Inn features 12 unique accommodation options, available for individual nightly bookings with a two night minimum. There are 7 year-round, winterized accommodations with private indoor facilities and heat, and 5 seasonal accommodations with private outhouses and communal outdoor kitchens, showers (hot water!), and dining. While there are communal gathering spaces on the property, each accommodation has it’s own privacy and it’s own picnic table, charcoal grill and firepit. Guests are encouraged to spend time interacting with our sheep, goats, alpacas and chickens, and perusing our 24 hour self-service Barn Shop. There is a spring-fed, swimmable pond on the property as well as a communal sauna, accessible by all guests. There is also a Rails-to-Trails hiking trail accessible from the property which leads to a park with a lake and children’s playground and to the neighboring hamlet of Mountaindale.

Tiny House 3 is a cozy and bright and built out of rough-hewn local pine and hemlock. It features a sleeping loft with a full-size bed as well as a single day bed, for a total of up to 3 guests. There is a writing nook and a closet. There are electrical outlets and Wifi. There are fans for the summer and an electric space heater for early spring and fall. Tiny House 3 guests have a private firepit, charcoal grill, hammock and outhouse. They have access to the communal outdoor kitchen, outdoor shower with hot water on demand, and covered outdoor dining area. They also have access to the communal sauna. Open your ears to the sweet sounds of the East Mongaup River; and perhaps take the brief walk down to visit her. With this in mind, we highly recommend that you bring and use a bug repellent, properly check your body each evening before bed, and properly check your body when you return home. Our purpose is to preserve the land, so we ask that you do not disturb any of the trees or foliage by carving into them, sitting on them, breaking them, or removing them. We prefer to not have alcohol on the land, but if you wish to indulge, keep it at your site, and ensure that the land is kept as it was or better when you arrived. Please drink responsibly and respectfully on your campsite only.
