The home sits on 1 acre of protected woodland, which means deer, wild turkey, chipmunks and other woodland creatures feel comfortable roaming the grounds. There is an on-site trickling pond and a 1,000-square-foot deck equipped with Weber grill and gas firepit.

After a busy day enjoying the great outdoors, come home to prepare a home-cooked meal in the fully equipped kitchen, complete with a gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker, and all other necessary kitchen tools. Enjoy your culinary creations around the spacious wooden table that can seat up to 8. All the other necessary comforts of your own home are here, including remote-controlled air conditioning/heat, linens and towels. The living room has a SmartTV with access to all streaming services. Near Road: Our cabin enjoys a lovely natural setting with plenty of trees that help keep things peaceful. The property is located close to a main road, but most guests find it quiet and relaxing. We just want to make sure you have all the info, especially if you or little ones are sensitive to noise.

Insect Notice: Our A-frame cabin sits in the midst of nature and of course, with nature comes insects. While we maintain proper pest control, you can expect to run into these harmless critters during your stay.

The cabin is in a quiet community, located between the historic town of Jim Thorpe and Big Boulder ski resort. Surrounded by lush rhododendron on a 2-acre wooded lot, the property offers a sense of seclusion without sacrificing the security that comes with being in a community. It is a good place to relax and enjoy nature.

We will be doing renovations on the exterior of the cabin between July 1st and September 30th, 2025. The cabin will not be available any time during this blocked period. If you are interested in renting the cabin after this period, we will let you know of the changes being made, prior to your request.

The interior of the house is newly renovated. The main living area consists of a combined living room and kitchen with a vaulted ceiling. The kitchen is well equipped. The living room is comfortable (with a new reclining sofa and chair recliner) and has a cozy gas fireplace.

The Loft area has just been newly renovated into a Master Bedroom Suite with a Full Bathroom and private deck overlooking the lush rhododendron.

Outside you can relax on the lower deck or in our 4 new Adirondack chairs. There is a gas grille and table with chairs for outside dining.

There is no shortage of things to do in the Poconos. Below is a list of some area attractions:

Located in the community of Bear Creek Lake, this cabin is located on approximately 1.7 acres of wooded serenity. A full kitchen, internet, cable and 3 bedrooms will help you feel right at home. With so many activities to mention, you could head down to 2 of the lakeside beaches with your favorite paddle board or raft or simply relax by the large pool. You have access to the lake, pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, and playground within the Bear Creek Lake Community.

Approximately 5 miles south, you could also visit historic Jim Thorpe with quaint shops, pubs, restaurants, hiking, biking, and/or taking some scenic views in while traveling north on a train ride. Blue Mountain, CamelBack, Jack Frost/Big Boulder Ski Resorts are a short drive for some fantastic skiing and the Fall Foliage will keep you coming back for years to come. Therefore, come and relax on the large front deck or sit out back around the campfire roasting marshmallows and creating memories to last a lifetime.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a NO SMOKING and NO PET home. You must provide your own paper products, tea towels and bath towels. All linens, mattress protectors, comforters and pillows are provided. A washer/dryer is also included.

As our guest, you will also have access to all of the amenities of the private community of Bear Creek Lakes including the heated outdoor pool, playgrounds, sandy beaches, tennis/basketball/pickleball courts, and more!

The Lodge features an airy and bright open-concept main floor* with a fully stocked gourmet kitchen, breakfast bar with seating for six, dining table, spacious family room that opens to a 30-ft. screened-in porch (where you can enjoy your morning coffee or take in the sunset), washer/dryer, and a brand new “mini split” A/C and heating system throughout. The smoke-free main floor also features a large primary suite with a king bed, TV, full bath, and walk-in closet. Upstairs you’ll find two more large bedrooms, each with a queen and two twin beds, and their own private balcony, as well as another full bathroom. On the ground level, the garage is stocked with sports equipment, corn hole, bikes, and beach chairs of all sizes. When evening falls, enjoy the warmth of the fire pit in comfy Adirondack chairs.

Explore the town with one of the many unique tours—on foot, by trolley, scenic railway, or even in a motorcycle sidecar! Rent a bike to hit the rail trail, hike one of the many scenic trails (the boulder field and Hawk Falls at Hickory Run State Park are a must!) or try your hand at whitewater rafting. And if you’re here to ski, the Lodge is within easy driving distance of multiple ski resorts (Big Boulder, Jack Frost, Blue Mountain).

In addition, Travel + Leisure magazine named Jim Thorpe as one of the best small towns in the US to see fall foliage, and there are options for leaf-peepers of all abilities. Hike the walking paths in Kemmerer Park, enjoy the views from the windows of the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway or blaze your own trail in the 6000-acre Lehigh Gorge State Park. -When using the air/heat units, please only use UP and DOWN arrows on the remote. If other buttons are pressed, the heat/air will stop working. - "Layout was a little hard to judge online, however the residence was comfy. Kitchen is a little small if you are hosting a larger group but we made out fine as we had no plans for a large meal. Our daughter enjoyed all of the bunk beds and access to a tv of her own. I would recommend. Great spot for visiting Jim Thorpe!" - "We had a wonderful stay . It was an ideal venue and exceeded our expectations. Huge deck with amazing views of the mountains and valley below. The master bedroom which occupies the upper floor (with balcony and similarly great view) is special. Great hot tub (also with great view), game room, lots of trails, etc. The entire place was apparently recently built and impeccably clean. Great time for our first Vrbo rental." - "I stayed at Bella bear cabin with my 2yr old and my mother for a baby shower nearby. We were there for a couple nights and it was great! I wish I had more time to enjoy the area! The house was very clean and cozy and had the absolute softest carpet! We were greeted with s’mores supplies and coffee and snacks! All linens and towels were available as well as soap and anything you could need as far as kitchen appliances and pans and utensils! I loved that they had so many things for my toddler, the pack n play was already set up for me upon arrival which was so nice! There was also games galore! The property was very cute and the area had many roads to walk during the day! I didn’t get to visit the beach or pool as it was off season, but I’ll surely try to come back in the summer and stay again! I had a small issue figuring out the keypad lock (a mistake on my end.. I’m not very familiar with keypad locks) and the host was SO FAST to get back to me and help me unlock the property even with it being about 8pm! I am so pleased with my stay. Would def recommend to others as well as stay again!"

The Pocono mountains are subject to extreme weather (snow, ice, rain, etc). Guests are responsible for understanding the cancellation policy prior to booking and consider trip insurance to cover interruptions.

In winter, we recommend a 4WD vehicle with snow tires. Our snow removal service will treat the driveway following snow storms of 3+ inches, however we cannot guarantee treatment for the surrounding roads.

Lastly, we have a backup generator at the property to ensure guests have power and running water for a limited time following an outage.

Loved the all wood build and decor. A short drive to Jim Thorpe , Hickory run and many other great outdoor locations. We had an awesome short vacation. The host was very attentive when checking in and with concerns. My only recommendation is to improve the master bedroom bed. Not a good set up…Easy fix…. The box spring was on the floor with the mattress on top. It was like an air mattress on the floor. You had to roll over on the floor to get up. Otherwise the house is awesome!. Honestly the house is great. This tiny fix would make it close to perfect. I would rent again in a second if the master bed thing was a little better. Again though ,,,, awesome place! "

- "A beautiful house in a beautiful setting but should not have been rented due to maintenance issues. Owner is experiencing major life situation & I have sympathy for that situation. If the maintenance issues below are corrected, it will be a wonderful rental. • Bad first impression-dirty entry door & entry stairs from basement to living room needed to be thoroughly swept. • Ants present in kitchen, bathrooms, living room. Were stepping on them throughout our 3 night stay. • Frass (droppings/excrement of insects) piled up around toaster oven & stuck to some of the glasses & plates in cupboard. Cleaned it off -it reappeared next day. • No kitchen garbage can lid- a big problem in presence of ants. • Windows & many screens needed cleaning. Some windows lacked screens or they didn’t fit the windows properly. • No chairs on a beautiful, sizeable outside deck- only a bench swing. • Outside deck unusable-piles of nest waste under each of the 3 bird nests and bird poop all over the outside deck, window sills & screen, & on door between outside & screened in decks. • Bed frames/headboards needed for some beds. Dressers needed for each bedroom. Mattresses/box springs soft, uncomfortable. • Provide air conditioners for upstairs.. • Cleaner did ok job with cleaning the inside of the house. No complaints there. We didn’t let the ants, etc.spoil our good time & did our best to ignore it.If above problems are corrected, this will be a wonderful rental"

Little Boulder View is a newly built custom 1,200 sq. ft modern cabin in a quiet lake community, offering a relaxing retreat for couples and small families. Each space has been thoughtfully designed, featuring numerous custom built furniture pieces throughout.
The cabin is located minutes away from historic Jim Thorpe, Big Boulder/Jack Frost Ski resort, golf courses, hiking, skirmish, whitewater rafting and more!

The Space
Nestled on a corner lot in a peaceful community, this charming cabin welcomes you with a winding driveway and picturesque views of beautiful boulders.

Step onto the spacious front porch, the perfect spot to store your skis and snowboards before heading inside. Through the front door, you'll find a well-appointed mudroom designed to keep your gear organized and ready for adventure.

The main floor offers convenience and comfort, featuring two cozy bedrooms and a full bathroom—all on one level for easy, step-free access. Upstairs, the loft serves as a private retreat with a queen bed, an air mattress for extra guests, a game area, and access to a secluded coffee deck where you can relax and take in the surroundings. The loft also includes a washer/dryer combo unit for your convenience.

The screened-in porch spans the entire length of the home, providing a serene space to unwind. It features a dining area, a daybed (perfect for napping or extra sleeping space), and a Solo gel fuel fireplace to set the mood.

Outside, you can cozy up around the outdoor fireplace and enjoy the crisp, fresh air. Plus, exciting new outdoor amenities are coming in Spring 2025 to enhance your stay!

Located in Jim Thorpe, PA the gateway to the Pocono Mountains! The cabin has an open concept with a natural and engaging flow to the space.

Enjoy ridge line views from the loft while playing a game of pool! Keep your favorite beverages cold at the full wet bar with mini fridge.

Cook up your favorite meals in our full custom kitchen or throw some steaks on the brand new Weber Grill.

Take in the outdoors with two private acres. Dine under the stars and huddle up around the fire pit. Sip your favorite morning beverage on the covered patio.

It should be noted that an SUV or 4 wheel drive is recommended but not required. In the winter months we strongly encourage it, especially during a snow event. There is a two mile dirt/gravel road to access the property. We are deep in the woods!
