The space
My studio is located in a quiet part of Jim Thorpe with easy highway access, but has a remote mountain feel. You'll be surrounded by trees and the beauty of nature.

Guest access
The studio is located in a separate, stand-alone unit from my home. You're welcome to explore the trail that wraps around the neighborhood, where you'll find the occasional hunting cabin or seasonal home. Deer, turkey, and bears have been sighted. Squirrels and chipmunks abound.

Renovated workshop turned into an eclectic living space! Has a rustic, homegrown feel with a beautiful view of Flagstaff Mountain. Perfect for outdoor adventurists or anyone looking for a cozy weekend getaway.

Located at base of Mt. Pisgah. Walkable distance to two switchback trail heads. Three minute drive to Downtown Jim Thorpe, or 15 minute walk (steep incline). 8 minute drive to Mauch Chunk Lake park.

The space
Guest house is equipped with a full kitchen and appliances, full bathroom, 1 queen sized bed and 1 queen sized pull out couch. 55" smart TV, free wifi.
*staircase in house is very steep, open loft with a low roof. Not safe for little children

This carriage house suite is so fun-you are almost completely surrounded by acres of trees! Our property is tucked away on a private seven acre parcel of land. Your accommodations boast a soothing natural light, exposed rustic beams, and beautiful wooded views.
Less than 1 mile from Penns Peak for dining and entertainment and a six-minute drive into Historical Jim Thorpe, where the possibilities are endless!!
Access to river rafting, paintball, hiking, and biking trials all less than 3 miles from our space.
As the day winds down enjoy some time relaxing on your private deck.
When it’s time for sleep, settle in to your room decked out with comfortable bedding and clean private bathrooms.

We offer a kitchenette, which includes refrigerator and microwave; there is no stove/oven in the unit. We do have a BBQ grill available for preparing hot meals!
If you need any extra kitchen gadgets for your stay let us know and we will be more than happy to accommodate if possible.

The second sleeping area is created with a room divider, to be split off from the living room and kitchenette. The space is 2 rooms total, each room has its own bathroom.

THE SANCTUARY GUESTHOUSE is located in a very historical part of the town of Jim Thorpe.
It was once the Rectory for the First Presbyterian church which is located a few doors away and is currently an art gallery.
The Sanctuary still has it's vintage antique craftsmanship and sophisticated charm.
Rooms are well appointed, private, peaceful, and comfortable.
The Sanctuary is located steps away from all that the town of Jim Thorpe has to offer.
In addition, FREE parking is available for our guests at a separate location in town; but you must have a guest parking pass which will be spplied by your host.
