Take it easy at this unique getaway in the Poconos! This vintage one room cottage is the perfect space for soaking in nature, getting creative, or exploring the attractions of the Pocono Mountains.

The cozy cottage is within 20 minutes of ski resorts, Kalahari, and the Delaware Water Gap national recreation park. Reach downtown Stroudsburg and it’s restaurants and nightlife within 7 minutes.

The space
The cozy guest cottage is located on a shared 10 acre property with its own private lockbox entry, patio and dedicated parking space. The cottage is heated with electric baseboard heat and the indoor propane fireplace provides an extra heat source.

This antique rustic cottage is best suited for those who want to commune with nature and will enjoy the wildlife that roams the property, such as deers, black bears, squirrels, birds, etc.

The guest house has one bedroom with a full bed and a twin trundle mattress, a loveseat sofa, a table and chairs, a bathroom with a shower, a mini fridge, a Keurig, microwave, toaster oven, a smart TV, Wi-Fi, and a vintage cabinet stocked with bowls, plates, glasses and silverware. There is no kitchen.

The outdoor patio is adjacent to the cottage and underneath a pine tree. A privacy wall separates the patio from the yard and driveway.

There is enough parking to fit two cars directly next to the cottage.

We do have pets on the property.

Guests can access the private cottage and adjacent patio, which is located about 100 feet behind our main house (the main house is a duplex).

Other things to note
Please note there is no kitchen simply a mini fridge and microwave, so the space is best suited for reheating food, making coffee and tea, and putting together snacks.
The fireplace is propane and there is also electric baseboard heating. No wood is needed.
In the summer months we have window unit air conditioning.
The guest house has a full bed, this space is best suited for one to two people.

The whole group will be comfortable in this spacious and unique space. Located in the Pocono Mountains just 6 minutes to Downtown Stroudsburg and 20 or less minutes to attractions such as Camelback, Kalahari, Delaware Water Gap Recreation Area, Great Wolf Lodge, and the Pocono Wine Trail. The property is on a 10 acre wooded retreat with a private pond with fishing access that hosts bass, sunfish and other freshwater fish. Sit outside on the porch and BBQ with views of the mountains and water.

The space
The space is a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom unit with two floors, a deck, a grill, a backyard, two fireplaces, and a pond. The unit is a duplex, which has separate rental units but has a shared driveway, yard, and parking area. Each spacious bedroom has a pullout sofa and the downstairs sectional can sleep 2 guests. An air mattress is located in the closet of the master room for added convenience. The master bedroom has a fireplace. There is a shower and a jacuzzi tub in the large upstairs bathroom, which can be accessed from both the hallway or the master bedroom. The open kitchen has an island that is great for cooking and entertaining. The cabinets will always be stocked with coffee, tea and spices for cooking! The kitchen is completely equipped, and the outdoor grill is filled with propane. There is a fruit tree outside the house you can feel free to pick from. Pets are welcomed and there is a food bowl for pets in the cabinet in case you forget yours. The unique property is on 10 wooded acres, so you can really enjoy a taste of nature! Look for and enjoy wildlife from the porch as you relax and escape.

Guest access
The neighborhood is a picturesque residential area. Within walking distance is the Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm. Within a 2-3 minute drive you will find a deli, a public golf course, 2 public parks, and a gas station. Within a 5 minute drive you are on Route 209 which has commercial plazas with food, etc. Within a 6-7 minute drive you are in downtown Stroudsburg where there are restaurants, shopping. art galleries, coffee shops, and more. Within 10 minutes you are at Sorrenti Family Estate, Mountain View Winery and the start of the Pocono Wine Trail which also includes Blue Ridge, Renegade, and Raw wineries. Within 15-20 minutes you will find yourself at any of the following attractions including: The Crossings Outlets, Kalahari, Camelback, Great Wolf Lodge, Delaware Water Gap Natural Recreation Area, and more!
