Secluded modern cottage in the woods, minutes from Beacon's fabulous Main Street. There is one queen size bed in the bedroom, as well as a double size sleeper sofa in the living room. If you’d like the sofa sleeper set up with sheets, please make sure you’ve booked for 3 or 4 people even if you are a party of 2. The bedroom mattress is organic latex, and the cottage has MR16 level filtration. Private parking with a level 2 electric charger available.

The space
Wooded property in residential neighborhood. Small outdoor area next to parking and some of woods are accessible to guests. We do live on the property and are working on a native plant garden, but for now there are beautiful trees and a mostly unlandscaped yard with a very clean and tidy inside space. Small outdoor grill is available to guests.

Private, newly renovated, clean and calming - welcome to our guest house in the heart of Beacon, NY. Located in a gorgeous, leafy neighborhood, we're a short walk from the train, and ideally located for exploring the best stores and restaurants in Beacon. Come and enjoy a long weekend of hiking, reading, playing boardgames and more!

The space
We have recently finished renovating this home, which now has air conditioning, a brand-new kitchen (including a dishwasher), bathroom (including fantastic new shower), and luxury new mattresses!

Bedrooms: The apartment has two spacious bedrooms, both with queen size beds and luxury new mattresses! Lots of pillows and blankets to keep you cosy, and plenty of space for suitcases.

Bathroom: Newly renovated with a great shower. No bath through I'm afriad.

Kitchen: Newly renovated with brand new appliances, including fridge/freezer, microwave, stove, oven, and dishwasher. It's fully equipped for making a quick cup of coffee through to a full Thanksgiving dinner (we've tried and tested it!).

Living and Dining: Relax after a day of shopping or hiking in the comfy living space and read, play boardgames (we provide lots!) or watch TV. We have a full dining table for you to enjoy too.

Work from home: The apartment has two separate areas suitable for working from home. The wifi is newly upgraded and comfortably supported multiple videos calls happening at the same time.

Sunroom: There's a small but spacious sunroom when you enter the apartment, so you don't have to bring muddy shoes or coats inside, leaving the main apartment a calm and tidy sanctuary for you!

Energy efficient: The apartment is now entirely electric - including high efficiency mini-splits for heating and cooling, and a super high efficiency heat pump for hot water. So you can stay knowing your footprint is low.

Park and hike! Spacious studio set on a trail up Mount Beacon. Your own woodland oasis on the edge of Beacon city limit. The studio has high ceilings and a separate loft play/seating area.

The space
The property is a wooded lot with a stream and front and back yards. We live in the main house - the brick part, and there are 2 guest houses/additions with their own entrances through the back yard. There is a covered gazebo and outdoor seating in the back for your use.

We tend to use the front yard and leave the back for our guests. There is a big fenced-in area for dogs in the front. Please let us know if you want to enter that area so that we can manage our own dog, Sookie. She is an excellent host, but some find her TOO enthusiastic.

Guest access
Access to the house is up a dirt driveway that doubles as the service road to the Mt. Beacon reservoir. In case of snow or any other reason, you are welcome to park on the street in front of the house and we can help with your bags.

The guest houses have their own private entrances, and we offer self-check in with lockboxes.

Other things to note
We set the search parameters for 2 people because there is just one queen bed, but the space has a floor mattress and is roomy enough to accommodate a couple traveling with kids. Please send an inquiry.

Welcome to paradise!

Located just minutes away from Beacon's thriving Main Street, our homestead is nestled in a quiet little hamlet next to a monastery and just steps away from a waterfall that sits at the mouth of a hiking trail meandering to the shores of the Hudson River.

The three-bedroom guesthouse with work space, deck, and yard is at your disposal. Enjoy views of Mt. Beacon as well as the extensive vegetable and flower gardens.

Come to rest or play and make yourself at home!

The space
Upon entering the guesthouse through the blue door, you will be immediately met by a windowed sanctuary with soaring ceilings. The main space into which you step contains the small kitchen with plenty of space to dine and cook, a living space with couch and chair in which to lounge, a 48" streaming tv with all of the streaming services, and a bluetooth speaker. There is also a towering bookshelf upon which you'll find books for all ages and interests.

To the left of this main space is a small alcove with three doors. Behind the door directly in front of you is a bedroom with queen size bed, two small bureaus, a desk, and room-darkening curtains. At the back of this room is another door through which you will find the washer/dryer complete with detergent, an iron and iron board, a chest freezer, and all cleaning supplies should you feel the need to scrub during your stay.

Back out through the bedroom door, you'll find a full, newly-built bathroom with shower stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Just across the alcove is a small closet containing towels, a hair dryer, extra linens, and plenty of board games.

Upstairs on the mezzanine, there are two small bedrooms and a designated work space with spectacular views of Mt Beacon. Each bedroom is equipped with a queen size bed, all linens and pillows, a bed-side lamp, and room darkening curtains to be placed over the sky-lights. Please be advised that each of these bedrooms is tucked sweetly under the angled ceiling so there is not a great deal of usable floor space and privacy in each is provided by a curtain rather than a door.

Back downstairs in the kitchen, there is a four-burner electric stove, a small under-counter fridge, microwave, kettle, drip coffee maker, and dishwasher. All dishes, cooking utensils, pots and pans, and basic pantry items like coffee, tea, salt, pepper, and olive oil are provided for.

The living room is the perfect place to relax after a day out on the town or the trail. Each of the windows has a pull-down shade should you wish for more privacy.

Outside there is a sprawling covered deck containing a dining area, a couch upon which to lounge, and plenty of space to hang out. Enjoy the gardens, chickens, and orchard. There's even a trampoline!

Retreat to your 1000 square foot GH with your own private entrance, 2 bedrooms, (King sized bed!), queen bed, and plush queen pull out sofa in the living room (with door for privacy), and microwave, toasteroven, kettle, mini fridge, glasses, plates/utensils (no stove or kitchen sink). Streaming tv, WiFi, workstation, garden!

The space
Private entrance with free parking welcomes you to modern conveniences in our charming 120+ year-old Victorian. Newly installed central Air.

The bedrooms overlook the lush enclosed garden full of hydrangeas, butterflies, dogwoods, roses, and tall beach grass.

Bedroom 1 boasts a king size bed, ample closet space and elegant relaxation to recharge after a day of exploring. And there is a chic desk in case you have to do a little work.

Bedroom 2 has a rattan queenbed and a modern vibe with all the country feels and also overlooks the garden. Ceiling fan. Closet with hangers.

One and half baths are modern, clean and well appointed. Including rain shower, tub, fresh white towels, vegan hair and body products, hair dryer, emergency kit, hand towels, paper products. Marble vanities.

Please note at this time we are offering a microwave, coffee/tea maker but no full kitchen.

There is no smoking in the guesthouse of any kind, including cigarettes, THC products, and incense or burning candles. This house is wood and we take fire safety seriously.

The living room can be converted into a third bedroom (it has a door that closes for privacy) and a pull out sofa bed. Please ask us to have linens if you plan to use it.

We will be sharing the garden with you, but happy to make it exclusively available to you when you’d like to use it.

Safety:we have a SimpliSafe security system. There is a video camera at the front entrance to our home and yours for both our safety. We do not record inside the GH, of course. But we just wanted you to know that we take our guests safety seriously. ;)

The Equestrian Suite at Lambs Hill is a private estate with panoramic views overlooking the Hudson River & downtown Beacon. This beautifully-designed luxury suite sits atop a barn home to Icelandic horses & miniature donkeys, & features an outdoor hot tub, red light therapy, gourmet kitchen, & wrap-around decks. 1 mile to Beacon's Main St, 2 miles to Metro North train station & DIA: Beacon. We can host a max of 2 guests & have some dangerous features for kids so guests should be adults only.

The space
This high-end suite is designed with rustic-chic glamour throughout and includes: 1 bedroom with California king bed and gas fireplace, spacious living room/kitchen area, and full bathroom. Wrap around balcony and north and south deck boasts: outdoor hot tub, grill and seating for the exclusive use of the suite guests.

The romantic bridal-inspired bedroom has a king bed, modern 3 sided gas fireplace, and glass sliders to a covered balcony with river views. The side window has mountain and horse ring views. Vintage reclaimed barn wood adorns the vaulted ceilings. Relax in bed, watch TV and enjoy the romantic fireplace or check out the window that peeks into the charming center aisle complete with views into the horse and donkey stalls.

The living room/kitchen area has a seating area for hanging out and watching Direct TV (including Sunday Ticket) or movies on DVD player. We have a selection of games and movies for the guests.

In the kitchen, amenities include; new professional gourmet stove, microwave, crock pot, toaster and Keurig coffee maker. We provide complementary coffees and teas, fresh eggs from our chickens, as well as pantry items such as microwave popcorn, smores kit, granola bars and pancake mix.

Upstairs is a loft designed for improving the mind, soul and body. This little studio with wide oak floors is outfitted with yoga accessories such as mats, blocks, light weights, rollers and a stability ball so you can indulge in your favorite yoga and stretching routine. To go along with the wellness theme, we have built a full body red light therapy bed. Red light therapy works by using specific wavelengths of red light to penetrate the skin and stimulate cellular activity. This stimulation can lead to a variety of beneficial effects, including stimulating collagen production, which is essential for skin firmness and elasticity. Additionally, it can help with muscle recovery, reduce inflammation, and even offer cognitive and mental health benefits. Many professional athletic teams, such as the San Francisco 49ers, use this exact red light from JOOVV for their muscle recovery as well as many celebrities, like Jennifer Aniston, use this red light in their beauty routine to help keep youthful looking skin.

Sliders in the living room lead to the South deck with Weber grill, outdoor table and seating. Sliders in the front open to the covered balcony which lead you around to the North deck with the hot tub. Enjoy a glass of wine soaking in the private hot tub while watching the sun go down and the lights below begin to twinkle.

Underneath the North deck, you will find an outdoor ping pong table in the shade, complete with paddles, balls and scoreboard for your enjoyment.

The spacious bathroom has a double sink and walk in shower lined with handmade subway tiles.

The entire suite is yours to enjoy. There is parking right outside, and we also provide 2 bikes with helmets and locks for exploring , Washer/Dryer, Hair Dryer, Iron and Ironing Board.

Due to the animals that live on our property, we have a strict no pets policy.
To get to your suite, you will enter the barn through the stained glass doors and walk past the horses and donkeys up the stairs.
This mountainside setting backs up to 4,000 acres of protected forest land with hiking trails right from the doorstep. Hike up to the Beacon Reservoir, the Fire Tower with Manhattan views and/or the top of Mount Beacon.
Downtown Beacon is full of beautiful shops, galleries and restaurants including the Roundhouse, Dogwood, Towne Crier and the Hudson Valley Brewery.
Easy access from NYC with the Beacon train station stop only 2 miles from this estate. We are located on the side of a mountain up a steep rocky dirt and winding road. 4WD is recommended in the winter months but not necessary otherwise. Low riding vehicles are discouraged. Excellent place to stay for a romantic getaway & special occasions. Please ask us for more details regarding hosting a wedding at Lambs Hill as we have separate pricing for events.
