My place is 5 minutes from Empire Casino. Fabulous spot with fine dining and horse racing as well. We are also close to lots of diversified restaurants, family-friendly activities, nightlife, public transport, shopping, Manhattan. You’ll love my place because of the location and the neighborhood. My place is good for couples, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups.
The space
There is a front porch with a table and chairs to enjoy your morning coffee, read a book or just relax. The guest space is on the second and third floors of the house. My family and I live on the main floor in a separate entity. The surrounding neighborhood is lovely, quiet, and residential, although just minutes away from the Metro North train, a 20 minute ride into Grand Central Terminal, NYC. St James Guest House is on the outskirts of a lively community. The nearby Yonkers Ave is host to many restaurants and the famous Empire Casino. McLean Ave is always abuzz with the many Irish Pubs and Restaurants on the strip, featuring a variety of ethnic food and music. We are also close to Cross County Shopping Mall.
