We care about your comfort, that's why we have enabled surveillance cameras around the perimeter of the house and offer secure on-street parking, we even allow pets for a small additional fee!
In addition, we provide you with contacts for private transportation and will be happy to offer you our best restaurant and sightseeing recommendations.
To ensure peace and rest, we maintain a quiet environment between 10 pm and 6 am, avoiding any disturbing noise. And remember, our check-in is from 3 pm and check-out at 1 pm.

The space
Situated in the coastal village of Rowayton, our renovated boat barn houses a uniquely curated space. Upon entering, you'll find the main seating area and kitchenette, perfect for small gatherings and easy meals. There is internet access and a Smart TV.
In the back of the cottage are the bathroom and bedroom. The bedroom has a high ceiling that follows the curvesd architecture of the original barn. There is a queen-sized bed and a loft area with two additional twin beds (a big hit with the younger guests). There is also an abundance of closet space and plenty of room for storage.
The bathroom is fully tiled, floor to ceiling, with a pedestal sink and a shower tucked into the corner.
Extra bonus: If weather permits, take advantage of a quintessential New England beach experience–the outdoor shower. It’s secluded and private, amidst the trees and birds.
While the cottage is well insulated and shaded by trees, we have A/C splits and baseboard heating, so the temperature is easily adjusted, year round.

The cottage has a private deck with table and chairs and a grill with side burner for outdoor leisure.

Beautiful in all seasons. Enjoy a cottage by the sea set in East Norwalk on Fitch Point. Launch paddle boards, kayaks or swim to the dock off Marvin Point steps from the cottage's private beach. The inlet the property sits on is tidal so there is no water at low tide. One house away at the end of the street is a beach with water 24/7.
Walking distance to South Norwalk, Harbor Harvest Market, Partners Pizza, Mr. Frosty's, Sweet Ashley's and more.
The space
The space is a single story cottage with two Design Within Reach sofas as beds. Both fold out to accommodate queen size accommodations and are very comfortable (not your typical sofa bed).
There is a washer and dryer on the premises for use (not shared) and a closet with ample hanging space and another closet for folded clothes/towels. You will also have a six drawer dresser.
There is a coffee maker, microwave and full stove. The dishwasher does not work at this time, but will be replaced in the upcoming months.
You will enjoy a quite cottage with access to paddle boards, kayaks and windsurfing equipment if you are interested.

This is a backyard cottage that is attached to a garage that is used for storage (not for cars). You will have access to the yard, beach, washer and dryer in the garage (for your cottage).
Please note that a family of four lives on the premises with two boys (ages 10 and 7).
There is a loft in the cottage accessible by rolling ladder but is off-limits to guests due to safety.
We are open to a longer term stay/furnished rental. It is recommended that children who stay know how to swim because of the water access.

The garage is a shared space. The washer and dryer are yours. There is a gym set up in the garage that you are welcome to use.

1-bed cottage just redone, in the charming beach town of Rowayton! There's a separate living room, bathroom and a small kitchenette, perfect for a couple or family. Bedroom has a king size bed. Pullout couch in the living area can be setup as a queen bed (you walk thru the living room to access bedroom). This cottage is in the backyard of our main house; you will need to walk thru our grassy backyard to access it. Please know our dog and two young children may be running around in the backyard!

Bedroom has a king size bed and an in-window air conditioner. Living room has a couch, flat screen TV and small table with two chairs. You have to walk through the living room space to access the bedroom.
Bathroom has sloping ceilings but was just redone with a new shower/tub combo and brand new vanity. You cannot take a soaking tub bath (not a large enough hot water tank for adults). Kids bath or shower works best.
The kitchenette has a toaster oven, microwave, medium sized fridge/freezer and a set of 4 dishes. There is also an electric kettle and a hot plate, but there is no dishwasher or stove. Best for heating up small meals, but not for full cooking.
To access the cottage, you will walk from the street, through the gate to our backyard, and then through our grassy yard. Please be prepared and bring the right shoes / umbrella / etc for the weather, and please know that it could be dark at night - it is set a ways back from the road.
The outdoor area is shared with our house. Our backyard is fully fenced in, including the cottage. There are two chairs on the front area of the cottage; these are in our backyard / shared space and facing toward our house so it’s likely you’ll see our family. Please be mindful not to let our dog out when going thru the gates to the backyard, and please make sure to close the gates behind you.
Our house is on a quiet cul de sac street ; you can park directly in front of our house, by our black mailbox with the #3 on it.
Guest access
The cottage will be entirely yours. You’re also welcome to use the outdoor area of the cottage (two chairs, as shown in the photos) but please remember this is in our backyard, and as such, we ask for family-friendly guests only. We have a 4 year old, a 2 year old and a dog— plus often have other friends and their children who might be in the backyard or on our deck.
Other things to note
Please ask before using our personal backyard equipment (including the inflatable pool, zip line or toys). We’re usually happy to share but best to discuss with us directly, so we can share any previous commitments / plans we have.
