Located in the heart of New Haven less than 5 min away from Yale Hospital and less than 10 minutes from Yale University. The unit has some amazing features like a private 1 car parking space and in-unit washer and dryer. The space is cozy, but has all the necessary amenities for a comfortable short or long stay. This cozy guesthouse offers a bedroom with a full size bed and two nightstands with USB ports to easily charge your devices. The master bedroom features a queen bed, a nightstand with USB ports, and a comfortable work area ideal for remote workers. You'll find plenty of extra pillows and linens to make your stay even more comfortable. The bathroom includes all shower essentials along with lady essentials. A washer and dryer are available in the unit, along with detergent and fabric softener. The living room includes a comfortable sofa that also converts into a bed, a portable footrest is available for added comfort, a coffee table, and a TV with Netflix/Disney+/ MAX/ and Peacock ready to enjoy. The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, dinnerware, wine glasses, a can opener, and more. The dining area seats six people and is perfect for a warm family meal. Outdoors, there are six chairs and a dining table for enjoying meals outside. There is also a grill on the property, but it is not accessible to guests. Kindly cook and use the indoor kitchen instead. Upon arrival, enjoy a peaceful walk through a beautiful wildflower lined path that leads you to the unit.

Guests are welcome to enjoy the shared lawn area as well as their own private entrance deck. Inside the unit, guests have full access to the apartment except for four doors. One of the door leads to the main house. The other two doors are host closets and the fourth door in a guest bedroom is also off limits. Please do not attempt to open any of these doors. Other than that the guest’s can enjoy the rest of the apartment.

If you will use the sofa bed the linens, pillows, and comforter are located in the first bedrooms closet.

Please be respectful to the neighbors and feel free to introduce yourself if they greet you. Avoid playing loud music and be mindful of others on the upper floor and nearby. This is a small community of four homes where everyone looks out for one another. Keep in mind that you’re staying in someone’s home, so please treat it with care.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Cathedral ceilings help you keep an open mind in this 1 bedroom little house with an additional loft. Right downtown Branford, about a 3 min walk to the fun town green, and dozens of restaurants, and only 1.5 miles to the beach. There is the old town cemetery directly behind the house, but it's very tranquil and quiet, as most of the stones have been there for 100 years. There's also a small private yard which is still a bit rough.

The space
This gem looks small from the outside when walking down the driveway, but is big and open inside. The living room is big with cathedral ceilings, nice little kitchen that was just renovated. And a little bedroom, bathroom and loft area for extra sleeping.

Guests have the whole apartment/house to themselves. There’s also a patio area with a fire pit we are open to sharing. Please send a message if you’d like to use to fire pit. There is usually fire wood behind the stone wall/bench

The guest house is in a private setting surrounded by stunning stone walls and next to a vernal pond. Birds sing; and the owls hoot. Walking distance to a beautiful shell beach, and the beautiful CT coastline.

Very close to picturesque Stony Creek and Guilford--historic towns in Connecticut. Great restaurants; Gorgeous oceanside Hammonasset State Park in neighboring Madison, CT--and nature preserve.

This guest house is beautifully sited and designed by STUDIOATE; an architectural firm formed by two Yale Architecture graduates.

The guest house has a private bedroom with a King size Tempur-Pedic bed; high ceilings; Modern Bath with beautiful fixtures and shower; heated floor and heated towel rack; large glass windows and doors. A gorgeous Front Deck overlooks a pond.

The guest house is equipped with AC/Heat; full bedding; towels; a kitchenette that includes an undercounter refrigerator; sink, french press with delicious coffee; hot water pot; microwave; cups, glasses, plates and bowls, and flatware. (There are no cooking facilities in the guest house.)

Also Wifi is provided.

Short distance to Westwood hiking trails (Land Conservation Trust), shell beach; historic coastline of ct; great restaurants, great shops, antique stores, and museums. Great biking along the shore.

Neighborhood is friendly and quiet at night.

The guest house is located at the back of a 3 acre property with its own driveway and parking. Guests have access to a beautiful setting overlooking a vernal pond and very private with stone walls that surround the guest house.

There are things to do year round here. Summer is full of beach activity; hiking; sightseeing., architecture tours; The winter light is stunning in the morning. Also--close by Hammonnasset State Park is a special place for walks throughout the year--with a wonderful Nature Center. Snowy owls; hawks and winter birds are abundant.
