Set in a hemlock forest on a quiet country road, this newly redone and separate guest studio is a perfect getaway. Set on 30 private wooded acres, the property is bisected by a Class A trout stream. Guests have access to the shared pool Mon-Fri, but not Sat-Sun.

The second floor studio has a queen size bed and a queen size sofa bed along with a private bathroom. There is Wifi, a television (ROKU). There is no kitchen, however, we do provide a microwave, dorm fridge and Keurig coffee machine.

The space
Large studio on second floor (only unit in building). Approximately 23' x 23' (530 sq ft). South facing windows provide a sunny refuge to work from home during the pandemic. With quick internet, there's a large dining/work table. Let us know if you have any questions about how we can make the space accommodate your needs.

Guest access
Guests have private access to the entire upstairs as well as shared access to the grounds, stream (and treehouse!). There's also a firepit perfect for making s'mores (firewood provided).

Note that the ground floor entry area is considered shared space -- it shares a door to the garage, but we try not to disturb guests.

This spacious studio is in a quiet cul-de-sac and under a half mile walk from the Village of historic Fishkill, NY. Also, only a 10 minute drive to Beacon, NY!

The Private entrance around the rear entrance of the detached building leads you to a staircase that brings you to the studio apartment. The studio has 1 Queen bed, 1 full pull-out bed, a kitchen, full bathroom, and laundry amenities on the lower level.

The space
Set in the rolling hills of Dutchess County farm country, this 19th-century cottage offers beautiful views. Relax with your family/friends in the open kitchen-dining-living room on the 1st floor. In summer, BBQ outside on the (small) patio with table & chairs. The cottage is filled with funky antiques, and sheepskins from the farm next door. You might occasionally see and hear roosters and hens.... As for other sounds, you will be on a country road with some traffic. There is Wifi but no TV. A/C is in the living room, master bedroom and 2nd bedroom but not the 3rd bedroom. There is no central A/C.

Guests will have access to the entire cottage, parking space and grounds up to the fences separating the cottage from the sheep farm next door. Please appreciate that the grounds of the farm, a working farm, are not available for strolling. But there are many walking/hiking spots nearby. Ask me for tips on where to go....

Other things to note
Summer months: A/C units are located in the living room, master bedroom and 2nd bedroom but not the small 3rd bedroom, which has fans. There is no central A/C. Fall/Winter months: the cottage is fully insulated and heated. Also, the farm next door is home to many animals: sheep, hens, geese, dogs and cats. These are fenced off from the cottage, but occasionally some chickens and a cat or two might roam near the cottage. However, no animals are allowed inside the cottage. Anyone with a cat allergy, please take note.

The Tiny Horse Barn is centrally located at the base of Mohonk Mountain near High Falls, Accord and Stone Ridge. This cozy yet modern newly renovated tiny barn includes 1 bedroom plus loft sleeping space and sofa bed. The property includes includes ample outdoor space with sun deck, bbq, firepit and lawn.

The space
The Tiny Horse Barn (THB) is a small barn that was fully renovated into a cozy guesthouse in 2017. It is located adjacent to a main house which is occupied part-time. This property is surrounded by an organic vegetable farm as well as other neighbors. It is centrally located at the base of Mohonk Mountain and just a few minutes from the quaint towns of High Falls, Accord, and Stone Ridge. Lots of restaurants, farm stands and hiking are just moments away.

You have access to the entire Tiny House Barn which includes a private deck, lawn and fire pit.

Dogs are welcome. Please ensure they are housebroken and remain on the THB property. Please cleanup your pet waste and place in outdoor trash bins. Also, there are neighborhood dogs and cats (there is a farm next door to the property) that may wonder onto the property from time to time.

Hidden Hope Cottage is on a 19 acre working farm with walking trails and access to the East Branch River and The Great Swamp. We are 15mn from the Amtrak station, 25mn from Metro North. There is not buses or public transportation, but we have a local taxi company and Uber and Lyft are also available and should be planned in advance to avoid waiting around.

If you wish to fish on the lake you will have to register for a NYS fishing license, it is very easy to do on line. (we have a couple fishing pole and a tack box you can use)
We have a large house dog called Nora and an orange cat, they are very friendly.

The space
The last of three properties on a beautiful wooded driveway, your apartment is approximately 200 feet from the main house. It is private, but accessible. Your back view is nothing but trees, as our 26 acre property turns into Mohonk Preserve land. You are staying in our 1,200 square foot studio on the top floor of our carriage house style garage.
We are always updating and improving the space. Most recently, we installed a blackout roller shade above the bed, and light filtering shades along the back windows.

This home comes with an on-site host who lives in the attached in-law apartment.

The owners/hosts live in an attached apartment that is adjacent to the rented home, providing the benefits of attentive and friendly hosts that are available to help answer any questions about the area or assist with any of the amenities, such as the fire pit. The hosts are happy to interact with guests as much or as little as they prefer.

**If you are interested in renting the house in its entirety, including the 1 bedroom apartment, feel free to reach out and ask and we are happy to consider. The two spaces can connected as well via opening a door. **

Guest access
The home has been split into two residences in which the owners/hosts live in the small apartment. Guests will enjoy the full use of the 5 bedroom, 2.5 bath home and all of its outdoor amenities, including backyard, fire pit, and large parking areas for multiple cars.

Bedroom 5 is the only 1st floor bedroom, with the other 4 bedrooms upstairs. Each bedroom is quite large and can accommodate additional "rollaway" beds for extra guests. Feel free to let us know ahead of time how you would like the additional beds arranged, including the sofa bed in bedroom 5.

Other things to note
This home is on a dirt road, but only if you turn on the road from Rt 301 (Main St).

If you turn on the road from Rt 9 you get to avoid driving on the dirt road. (The home's driveway is located exactly where the paved portion of the road ends and becomes a dirt road.)

For your group of 6 adults and 2 children to enjoy. The Meadows, Carson, and Macy Rooms, all with Private Baths. A full breakfast is included. The Kitchen is not available for guests but arrangements can be made with us for catering. We are close to Main St shops and Restaurants and the Trailheads.
