The space
This is an early Eric Block designer building, built in 2017 before he got locally famous. I think it was designed to be Your Old School Dream Airbnb.
There is a large open great room with a 6-seat dining table (but we can get you more chairs honestly), a daybed couch that is a trundle bed, two armchairs, floor pillows, and a TV on a desk. There is a propane stove, many windows and a large ceiling fan, stained glass window and lamps. French doors lead you to the kitchenette with a fridge, hot plate, toaster oven, coffee maker, hot water heater, pantry, etc.
To the left, a small bedroom with a twin bed, bookshelves, and a lovely work-from-home office desk complete with monitor, EMF protecting salt lamp. There is another sleeper mattress rolled up under the bed in case you have extra people. To the right down a little hall, you will find the full bathroom complete with shower, and then you will find the master bedroom with a double bed (an an extra air bed in the closet), and large sliding doors. Through the sliding doors is a deck overlooking a private yard with firepit, with nature all around. There is another deck on the other side of the great room. Sleeps 6, air bed would allow for one or two more people in a pinch.
Guest access
The whole space is for you, the back yard is your space. Please do not bother the two beehives at the back corner of the property but you can look at them from a safe distance. Our home is in front, so we hope you respect our privacy and boundaries and don't wander into our shed or into our part of the yard past the chickens. New fencing coming soon!

You drive through our gate to enter and you will see your parking area. I will provide you with a key.

Lovely small guest house on a property, set apart from the main house, located on a quiet residential street. This location is very convenient to I95, Old Lyme, Essex, Old Saybrook, & Chester. It has been renovated and comes with a queen size bed. There is a refrigerator,micromave,& keurig coffee pot. The pool is steps outside your room and there is a lounging area adjacent to this. Pool is open June thru September.
**Pool will not be open until mid June & is not heated.
