A 4 bedroom, 2-1/2 bath home, located just south of Beacon on a secluded property. House sleeps up to eight people plus pack n play for babies. Three-acre property with seasonal views of the Hudson River, large brick patio with seating for ten, a grill and wood burning pizza oven. Chef's eat-in kitchen and with fireplace.

Formal dining room and living room.

Four bedrooms and two full baths on the 2nd floor. One bedroom has en suite bath. The other bedrooms share a bath. All four bedrooms have new queen-sized mattresses and new linens. The fourth bedroom also has a daybed that makes up into a twin bed. You must use rear stairs or walk thru one bedroom to get to this 4th bedroom.

Full laundry set up in the basement.

Property is set on 3 acres and is approximately 2 miles south of Main St. Beacon in its own private setting. Walking distance to hiking trails of Mt. Beacon. We have a few chickens wandering around the property and a nice outdoor sculpture gardens to relax and enjoy.

Approximately 2 miles from Main St. Beacon and all the great restaurants, brewery, and shopping. Only 17 miles to West Point and 5 miles to Cold Spring. Hiking trails to Mt. Beacon within walking distance of the house. Mt. Beacon parking lot less than 1.5 miles away.

There is a barn on the property that is closed to visitors. We live down the road and are nearby in case you need anything. In the event we're out of town, we have a property manager nearby.

No smoking on the property and no pets. No large events (over 12 people) without approval of owners.

3 night minimum for holiday weekends and 4 night minimum for West Point Graduation week and Thanksgiving.

Sliders in the living room lead to the South deck with Weber grill, outdoor table and seating. Sliders in the front open to the covered balcony which lead you around to the North deck with the hot tub. Enjoy a glass of wine soaking in the private hot tub while watching the sun go down and the lights below begin to twinkle.

Underneath the North deck, you will find an outdoor ping pong table in the shade, complete with paddles, balls and scoreboard for your enjoyment.

The spacious bathroom has a double sink and walk in shower lined with handmade subway tiles.

In the kitchen, amenities include; new professional gourmet stove, microwave, crock pot, toaster and Keurig coffee maker. We provide complementary coffees and teas, fresh eggs from our chickens, as well as pantry items such as microwave popcorn, smores kit, granola bars and pancake mix.

Upstairs is a loft designed for improving the mind, soul and body. This little studio with wide oak floors is outfitted with yoga accessories such as mats, blocks, light weights, rollers and a stability ball so you can indulge in your favorite yoga and stretching routine. To go along with the wellness theme, we have built a full body red light therapy bed. Red light therapy works by using specific wavelengths of red light to penetrate the skin and stimulate cellular activity. This stimulation can lead to a variety of beneficial effects, including stimulating collagen production, which is essential for skin firmness and elasticity. Additionally, it can help with muscle recovery, reduce inflammation, and even offer cognitive and mental health benefits. Many professional athletic teams, such as the San Francisco 49ers, use this exact red light from JOOVV for their muscle recovery as well as many celebrities, like Jennifer Aniston, use this red light in their beauty routine to help keep youthful looking skin.

The estate was incredibly clean and had no smell whatsoever from the "house mates" below. The horses and donkeys were so fun to greet coming and going. I was worried about flies, being over a barn, but I didn't see a single fly. We did have one issue arise that was no fault to the owner. We mentioned it to the caretaker, and she was prompt to get it resolved. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we have decided that a return visit is a MUST in the future."

Our Beacon home is perfect for a family or two to enjoy the great outdoors and all that Beacon has to offer, including hiking out the back door, great restaurants and brew pubs, Dia Beacon Museum, music at the Towne Crier and many other local attractions. Should you prefer to stay at home, the home sits on 3 acres of peace, with a stunning river view with incredible sunsets. Just out the back door is a large patio with a gas fire table, gas grill, outside shower and an inground pool with diving board and slide. The little ones will love the swing set, and less little ones the ping pong and foos ball table in the basement, along with large TV for watching movies. There is an office for private work at home meetings and a formal living room with view to Mount Beacon.
Our home has hosted many a family gathering and accommodates it well. The open kitchen, living area, with fireplace is the central hub and cooking is easy and efficient on the 6 burner gas stove with griddle and double ovens. There are two dishwashers to make clean up easy. A large mudroom with lockers and washer and dryer keeps the group mess contained in one room for ease and uncluttered living while on your vacation.

The house is a five minute walk onto Main St. I had several emails with the host- response was amazing and very helpful. as a result there were no issues. Our grandchild loved the playhouse in the back. the bbq was very nice. overall the place is great as a hub for the Hudson Valley. The only quibble is that as an older house the living room/sitting room area is a bit crowded. But given that we spent little time in the house other than eating and sleeping it really fit our needs. We would come back in a flash."

The inside was very well renovated. The living space was very homey. The kitchen was well equipped although the counters are very tall. A shorter person would have significant difficulties with the counter and stove height. The beds were ok. The water pressure is a bit low in the showers. All was clean and as described."
