A meticulously restored 18th-century Stone House. Located and voted on as one of Solebury Township's most picturesque roads. The Home is located on 8 pristine wooded acres and has been updated to current living styles with up-to-date bathrooms, a working fireplace, and a full kitchen with all appliances, including a dishwasher and ice maker. The home also includes two bedrooms with queen beds, closets, and dressers. The upstairs bath includes a walk-in shower and a full soaking tub. The downstairs bathroom has a walk-in shower. Each bathroom includes a water closet.

The house consists of three levels, the lower level contains the kitchen with a dining island, bathroom with a shower, and a sitting/ TV room. The middle level consists of an open-plan sitting room with a walk-in fireplace and formal dining area, the Upper level consists of two bedrooms with Queen Beds, a full bath with tub, and a Shower with a foyer area. Each level is accessed by 18th-century Butterfly (pie-shaped) stairs.

The upper level has hand-plastered walls and ceilings with pumpkin pine floors, the Middle level has exposed stone walls with wide board pine floors, and the Lower level has exposed stone walls with carpeting and stone floors. Each floor has radiant heat and is individually controlled.

You will be within walking distance to the quaint village of Lumberville and the Delaware Canal walking path and pedestrian bridge that crosses the Delaware River connecting New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Here you can dine at the Historic Black Bass Restaurant or casual dining at the Lumberville General Store with inside and outside dining options. The towpath along the Delaware River is fantastic for bike riding or a leisurely walk along the 58-mile path and scenic overlook of the River. Cross over to New Jersey via the pedestrian walking bridge and enjoy the New Jersey towpath that wanders along the Delaware River to the historic town of Lambertville. I

Bring your Kayaks or Paddle Boards and enjoy boating on the Delaware River and the Delaware Canal State Park, where you can find easy access boat ramps and Kayak launches.

In Spring and Summer months, enjoy seeing the beautiful plants, flowers and birdlife in full effect! We were in walking distance to most everything great house. It only has one full bath, but we worked with it. The only thing I would say is the living room could’ve been more comfortable with couches instead of just chairs so it’s hard to just relax and lounge if you wanted to and it did rain so we didn’t have the outdoor unfortunately to spend some time on the patio, which had a nice set on it, all in all, I would definitely stay again. beds were comfy. Check-in / Check-out:
The check-in is at 4 pm and check-out is at 10 am respectively. Requests for early check-ins and late checkouts can be made up to one day in advance and are subject to availability.

Gatherings:
Although we are aware that you are visiting Philadelphia to enjoy a good time, this property has a strict "No Party" policy out of consideration for the other renters and nearby residents, you will be staying in a quite residential neighborhood. Parties are not tolerated and will incur a $500 fine plus eviction. Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am.

Smoking is not permitted within the apartment in any form. If it turns out that smoking was taking place in your flat during the time you were renting it, you will be charged $300 in penalties.

Minimum age:
The minimum age for guests listed on the reservation is 24. By making a reservation, you guarantee that you are at least 24 years old and that you are legally able and authorized to do so. The name on the reservation must be present at check-in and throughout the duration of the stay.

Check-in / Check-out:
The check-in is at 4 pm and check-out is at 10 am respectively. Requests for early check-ins and late checkouts can be made up to one day in advance and are subject to availability.

Gatherings:
Although we are aware that you are visiting Philadelphia to enjoy a good time, this property has a strict "No Party" policy out of consideration for the other renters and nearby residents, you will be staying in a quite residential neighborhood. Parties are not tolerated and will incur a $500 fine plus eviction. Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am.

Hi all, my listing is for a very specific type of person. This is my personal home and I am away in Germany for the time being and I don’t know when I’ll return. I have someone managing the property while I’m away.

I’m very communicative (putting into consideration the 6 hour time difference) and love to problem solve is ever an issue arises. I love honesty and direct communication. That’s most helpful.

She’s located on a patch of green grass behind some trees on an active horse farm. The scenery is idyllic, it was truly my little piece of heaven when I lived there. In the evenings when everything was quiet and still and the sun was setting, I’d just sit there in my hammock chair or on my steps and take in the beauty.

In the day time, there are visitors on the farm sometimes, riding horses (this is a horse boarding farm) you may see some people here and there but the area is pretty private and the people aren’t generally loud. I've been here a few years and have felt totally safe. There are cameras in the parking lot on the property where people come and go. We also have goats, chickens, donkeys, etc. The house is parked far enough away that you feel like you have you own space.

Details about the house:

It’s a lived in home, the butcher block countertop isn’t in perfect shape, the front door is a little weathered and some of the doors inside have some scuffs. But this is just me and my perfectionist mentality ;) Otherwise the home is absolutely lovely. I loved coming home after work every day. It was my place to unwind from the hectic world.

- The home is under 250 square ft including the loft. It feels very spacious, has tall ceilings and dons 12 windows for an open feel.

- My home is furnished, complete with everything you need in the kitchen to live and cook.

- The bed is upstairs in the loft and access to the loft is via a metal rung ladder. Not easily accessible for small children or the elderly.

- I have a powerful mini split unit that can quickly heat and cool the home.

- The bathroom has a spacious shower, large sink and a compost toilet. There are 2 bathrooms in the main barn that have flush toilets that you are free to use for #2 if you don't like the ideal of composting. #1 is totally doable in the compost toilet as it goes straight outside. The bathroom also has heated floors.

- The property has a large dumpster that gets picked up on Fridays, you are free to put your trash in there.

- The lawn is mowed by the landowners

- I have filtered water (carbon) that comes from the smaller tap next to the kitchen sink

Successfully, notwithstanding the new crop of tyrants they would observe around the preserved Hessian barracks, a recommended historic sightseeing stop in Trenton, if their descendants come to stay here today, lol.

Our home is bright and cheerful and has a welcoming feel. I am a “want-to-be” bed and breakfast host but my home doesn’t work for that purpose - so AirBnB here I am! I have really enjoyed every guest I’ve hosted and love having the opportunity to meet new friends. I’m also delighted to share ideas with you about what restaurants and attractions are in the area if you have the time to explore!

The space
Please make yourself comfortable in our home. There is access to coffee and tea in the kitchen at all times. Enjoy your own television/Firestick in your room. We also offer two TVs in one of our two living rooms, as well as the company of two lovable (non-shedding) goldendoodle pups. This private room has a queen size memory foam mattress, in-room fridge, TV, desk and chair, and space to store and hang your clothing. The shared bathroom is just down the hall and may be used by other AirBnB guests. Enjoy a glass of wine on our deck, or open your laptop to study in your private room, the back deck, or even the dining room. Our Chalfont neighborhood is very quiet with lots of street parking. There is a wonderful park across the street for a morning run or an evening stroll, and we are just a short distance from Peace Valley Park and Lake Galena which has boat access and kayak rentals, picnic pavilions, and a 6 mile walking/biking trail around it’s perimeter. Lake Nockamixon State Park is 20 minutes away and Tinicum Polo field is less than a half hour away on the Delaware River. If you would like to hop on a train to Philadelphia (less than an hour) or Doylestown, we are a half mile from the station where you can catch the Septa R5 Doylestown line. Doylestown is 10 minutes away with excellent restaurants, entertainment and shopping. We are only 3.5 miles from Del Val University, 20 minutes from Peddlers Village and 30 minutes from New Hope. The Montgomeryville mall is 10 minutes away and IKEA is only 25 minutes! If you are here on business, we are less than a half hour to Merck in West Point or J&J in Springhouse.

The large sweet is completely private with your own entrance. The full bathroom is en suite with a tub and shower head. Feel free to bring your own food, but of course you can have food delivered or go out to any of the wonderful restaurants in the area.

Please make yourself comfortable in our home. Enjoy television in one of our two living rooms as well as the company of two lovable (non-shedding) goldendoodle pups. Enjoy a glass of wine on our deck, or open your laptop to study in your private room, the back deck, or even the dining room. Our Chalfont neighborhood is very quiet with lots of street parking. We are across the street from a lovely park with well groomed walking trails and we are just a short distance from Peace Valley Park and Lake Galena which has boat access and kayak rentals, picnic pavilions, and a 6 mile walking/biking trail around it’s perimeter. Lake Nockamixon State Park is 20 minutes away and Tinicum Polo field is less than a half hour away on the Delaware River. If you would like to hop on a train to Philadelphia or Doylestown, we are a half mile from the station where you can catch the Septa R5 Doylestown line. Doylestown is 10 minutes away with excellent restaurants, entertainment and shopping. We are only 20 minutes from Peddlers Village and 30 minutes from New Hope. The Montgomeryville mall is 10 minutes away and IKEA is only 25 minutes! If you are here on business, we are less than a half hour to Merck in West Point or J&J in Springhouse.

Bucks County is one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Washington Crossing and the New Hope, Newtown and Yardley area which is where this property is centrally located is one of the best parts of Bucks County.

The back part of this estate straddles part of the hill that is one of the best defensive positions General George Washington, a great land surveyor, ever put his troops.

They only stayed on the hill temporarily so there is nothing there (we welcome anyone with a high-powered metal detector). However, when you walk the nature trails and look out the long view over the land and river valley, and imagine the millennial types who once guarded and camped there, preparing with uncommon valor to attack, what were at that time, the best equipped and trained military Commandos in the world, late, in plain sight, under equipped, under Financed, and in broad daylight, freezing, with absolutely indomitable relentless patriotic determination, it is greatly inspirational.

Successfully, notwithstanding the new crop of tyrants they would observe around the preserved Hessian barracks, a recommended historic sightseeing stop in Trenton, if their descendants come to stay here today, lol.

That combined with being in the full Embrace of Mother Nature with endless beautiful scenes all over this land make it a Priceless destination in itself.

No common indoor space. The suite is attached to the main house and the host is often in residence.
Private deck with table and chairs, additional seasonal seating around the property shared with host. The pond is scenic but there is NO swimming, boating or other recreational usage permitted.

Room 6 also known as The Wollstonecraft Room, is cozy and perfect for one or two people. Located on the second floor of the Inn you will have easy access to the shared living room and dinning room. One flight of stairs down bring you to the first floor of the Inn where the coffee bar is, and from there you are steps away from the outdoor patio space. Private bathroom. Breakfast can be served per request for a small additional fee. Daily Housekeeping is not provided with an Air B&B booking.

The Delaware Canal State Park is a 60 mile long towpath that runs along the Delaware River, which just so happens to cut right through New Hope. Weather on foot or by bike (rentals available in town) traveling the towpath is a great way to spend the day in any season. Hargrave House is conveniently located in the heart of Doylestown’s historic district. Drive and park in our on-site private lot, or choose to take the bus or train – the drop-off point is a short, two-block walk to the B&B. Once there, our guests are able to use us as their home base to explore the restaurants, museums, and quaint shops that the town offers – all within an easy walk of our inn.

The house is set up for self check-in. Instructions will be sent to you 3 hours before check-in.

Other things to note
Smoking:
Smoking is not permitted within the apartment in any form. If it turns out that smoking was taking place in your flat during the time you were renting it, you will be charged $300 in penalties.

Minimum age:
The minimum age for guests listed on the reservation is 24. By making a reservation, you guarantee that you are at least 24 years old and that you are legally able and authorized to do so. The name on the reservation must be present at check-in and throughout the duration of the stay.

Check-in / Check-out:
The check-in is at 4 pm and check-out is at 10 am respectively. Requests for early check-ins and late checkouts can be made up to one day in advance and are subject to availability.

Gatherings:
Although we are aware that you are visiting Philadelphia to enjoy a good time, this property has a strict "No Party" policy out of consideration for the other renters and nearby residents, you will be staying in a quite residential neighborhood. Parties are not tolerated and will incur a $500 fine plus eviction. Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am.
