- "After finally finding this place using our Waze app, we were pleasantly surprised. The listing only says Bucks County, the owner said it was in Carversville & the Waze said it was in Plumstead. It is a 15 min ride to New Hope. The host, Joann told us it was set back from the road & the mailbox across the street, this helped. P Parking was nice and the room was around the side of the house with a private deck facing the beautiful pool, which we used, and beautiful countryside. I woke up early to catch the most beautiful sunrise. The bed was comfortable. We used the small fridge and Keurig. Coffee set up. Fortunately I brought a blower dryer, I didn’t see one, there was an iron & nice big tv. The bathroom was a nice size.there were fruit trees on the grounds & Joann offered me peaches, which I canned when I returned home. The property is a work in progress and not fancy but so comfortable and quiet. The host answered my questions promptly before our stay. We attended a family reunion in Lambertsville about a 1/2 hr away."

A meticulously restored 18th-century Stone House. Located and voted on as one of Solebury Township's most picturesque roads. The Home is located on 8 pristine wooded acres and has been updated to current living styles with up-to-date bathrooms, a working fireplace, and a full kitchen with all appliances, including a dishwasher and ice maker. The home also includes two bedrooms with queen beds, closets, and dressers. The upstairs bath includes a walk-in shower and a full soaking tub. The downstairs bathroom has a walk-in shower. Each bathroom includes a water closet.

The house consists of three levels, the lower level contains the kitchen with a dining island, bathroom with a shower, and a sitting/ TV room. The middle level consists of an open-plan sitting room with a walk-in fireplace and formal dining area, the Upper level consists of two bedrooms with Queen Beds, a full bath with tub, and a Shower with a foyer area. Each level is accessed by 18th-century Butterfly (pie-shaped) stairs.

The upper level has hand-plastered walls and ceilings with pumpkin pine floors, the Middle level has exposed stone walls with wide board pine floors, and the Lower level has exposed stone walls with carpeting and stone floors. Each floor has radiant heat and is individually controlled.

The house is attached to the owner's home but is fully autonomous with a separate and private entrance and private off-street parking.

You will be within walking distance to the quaint village of Lumberville and the Delaware Canal walking path and pedestrian bridge that crosses the Delaware River connecting New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Here you can dine at the Historic Black Bass Restaurant or casual dining at the Lumberville General Store with inside and outside dining options. The towpath along the Delaware River is fantastic for bike riding or a leisurely walk along the 58-mile path and scenic overlook of the River. Cross over to New Jersey via the pedestrian walking bridge and enjoy the New Jersey towpath that wanders along the Delaware River to the historic town of Lambertville. I

Bring your Kayaks or Paddle Boards and enjoy boating on the Delaware River and the Delaware Canal State Park, where you can find easy access boat ramps and Kayak launches.

It is located in a charming, verdant area, off the beaten track, but near to New Hope, Peddlers' Village and other fun places to visit. The owners live in a house on the other side of the VRBO and they were very friendly & responsive; we got a requested second key within hours. As stated in the description, there are winding wooden steps down to the kitchen & up to the bedrooms from the main level that require care. The entire 10 acres are flat and perfect for all kinds of outdoor activities. The pool area is fenced with large hardscaped surfaces complete with ample outdoor furniture, outdoor dining tables, and gas grill.

Inside, you'll also have no shortage of space and things to do. The home is equipped with two full kitchens, 3.5 baths, 8 bedrooms, and a plethora of living/entertaining spaces.

The kitchen in the main part of the home is fully stocked and features a center island with seating along with a peninsula with additional seating, AND a dining table for 4. Directly off the kitchen are 4 fantastic spaces. First is a living room with TV, gas fireplace, and comfy couch/chairs. off the living room is an impressive dining room with massive table and seating for 14. Third, is a pool table room w/ TV and additional seating. Finally... and perhaps my favorite part of the home is the rear sunroom overlooking the pool and expansive green space.

The upstairs of the main part of the home houses 6 bedrooms and 2 full baths. At the top of the stairs are 3 bedrooms accompanied by a hall bath. Bedroom 1 has a king bed along with a twin over twin bunk, bedroom 2 has a queen bed along with a twin over twin bunk as well, and bedroom 3 has a full size bed. The east wing of the second floor contains three more bedrooms along with a full bath, and breakfast nook with a beverage cooler and cabinetry. Bedroom 4 has a king bed, bedroom 5 has a queen bed, and finally bedroom 6 is accessed by walking through bedroom 5 and contains a twin over full bunk.

Moving back down to the first level and into the west wing of the home or the "extended family" portion of the home you'll find a den with TV and full size sofa bed. Off the den is a small bedroom with a twin over twin bunk and the third full bath. In the rear of this part of the home is the second kitchen along with a game room outfitted with a foosball table, TV, NBA jam, and Golden Tee arcade games!

Finally, the upstairs of the west wing of the home has the final bedroom which contains a queen bed along with two twin beds. This is a loft area with beautiful views through a large picture window of the backyard.

Early check-ins, and late check-outs are extremely hard to accommodate due to cleaning and maintenance schedules. Please do not assume these can be accommodated. If you would like more time, please book accordingly. Thank you for understanding!

In all seriousness though I certainly don't want this to come off as our home being the "no fun house". Rather, I mention this simply to make the distinction between music being played at a reasonable volume vs at a 10 or someone yelling compared to people gathering and having a conversation. This would go for any time of the day but especially at night. The neighbors should not hear your music or feel like they're part of your conversation! Additionally, there are exterior security cameras in 3 locations. Side door, front door, and the upper right corner on the rear of the home.

The house is on an acre of land that has plenty of quiet space to relax. Inside the furnishings are midcentury modern with an eclectic mix of artwork and objects. Stairs can be challenging if you have mobility issues, but other than that...it was so easy. Individual temp and light controls, full kitchen access, some welcome snacks, menus for local restaurants. Upstairs bedroom plenty of room, comfortable bed, plenty of hot water for shower. Easy to contact owners if I needed anything else...but they already took care of what I needed! We are unable to accommodate pets but Holiday House Pet Resort is less than a mile away.
