-THE KITCHEN has is all brand new with a modern backsplash, butcher's block countertops, and stainless steel appliances including a gas oven range with an exhaust hood and built-in dishwasher. Stocked with coffee, tea selection, bottled water, and snacks.

-THE 2ND FLOOR includes 2 bedrooms with a hallway bath. A queen-sized bed in the primary bedroom with a full closet, and a full-sized bed in the second bedroom which has a walk-in closet with a make-up vanity area.

-THE BATHROOM has updated tile and a jacuzzi tub!

-THE 3RD BEDROOM is a converted basement bedroom with a queen-size bed, and TV.

This Cape Cod style house has been owned by our family since it was built in 1938. While small compared to houses being built in Chester County now, it is quite comfortable in the winter, and in warmer weather the screen porch is the perfect place to relax.

The two bedrooms are on the second floor: the larger one has a queen-sized bed and the smaller one has a full or double bed.

There is a full bathroom with a tile shower on the second floor, and a small combined laundry room/half bath on the ground floor. The kitchen while compact is well suited to cooking with a gas range and is completely stocked with cookware and dishes.

The house is situated on a two acre property and is quite private. The driveway has room for two cars. There is a second house on the property with its own driveway, and several other houses clustered near by, with a historic Quaker meeting house across the road.

- "Home provided a wonderful gathering place for friends reunion. Lots of space to spread out and a big kitchen/ living area to gather in. Only caution is lots of stairs, might be a caution for older adults." - "We had a good time." - "Great location with character! We opened some of the windows in hopes of airing the house out and getting rid of the odor. Unfortunately the odor didnt leave. These 2 factors led to the score of 4 stars. The house was very nice. The ammenities were more than we expected (coffee pods, paper goods, shampoo). The location was good. We were able to walk to many of the venues."

Enjoy activities (ping-pong/dart/board games), then stretch out in the king size bed. Full of host's original art. Driveway parking 10 minutes or less to all that Kennett has to offer (breweries, restaurants, Longwood Gardens, etc.), 1/2 hour to Wilmington or UD, 1 hour to Philadelphia.

We live upstairs and you will hear footsteps in the morning before school and afternoons.

Enter to ping/pong area and laundry room with a mosaic tile floor. Down a short hallway is a kitchenette and living area with a small dining table. There is a large farm sink, 2 burner induction cooktop, microwave, and 3/4 size fridge. Melt into the large corner sofa which is also the secondary sleeping area with 2 twin mattresses. The bathroom has a mirror mosaic and tiled shower. Large farm doors open to a king size bed, closet, and seating area.
