A meticulously restored 18th-century Stone House. Located and voted on as one of Solebury Township's most picturesque roads. The Home is located on 8 pristine wooded acres and has been updated to current living styles with up-to-date bathrooms, a working fireplace, and a full kitchen with all appliances, including a dishwasher and ice maker. The home also includes two bedrooms with queen beds, closets, and dressers. The upstairs bath includes a walk-in shower and a full soaking tub. The downstairs bathroom has a walk-in shower. Each bathroom includes a water closet.

The house consists of three levels, the lower level contains the kitchen with a dining island, bathroom with a shower, and a sitting/ TV room. The middle level consists of an open-plan sitting room with a walk-in fireplace and formal dining area, the Upper level consists of two bedrooms with Queen Beds, a full bath with tub, and a Shower with a foyer area. Each level is accessed by 18th-century Butterfly (pie-shaped) stairs.

The upper level has hand-plastered walls and ceilings with pumpkin pine floors, the Middle level has exposed stone walls with wide board pine floors, and the Lower level has exposed stone walls with carpeting and stone floors. Each floor has radiant heat and is individually controlled.

The house is attached to the owner's home but is fully autonomous with a separate and private entrance and private off-street parking.

You will be within walking distance to the quaint village of Lumberville and the Delaware Canal walking path and pedestrian bridge that crosses the Delaware River connecting New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Here you can dine at the Historic Black Bass Restaurant or casual dining at the Lumberville General Store with inside and outside dining options. The towpath along the Delaware River is fantastic for bike riding or a leisurely walk along the 58-mile path and scenic overlook of the River. Cross over to New Jersey via the pedestrian walking bridge and enjoy the New Jersey towpath that wanders along the Delaware River to the historic town of Lambertville. I

Bring your Kayaks or Paddle Boards and enjoy boating on the Delaware River and the Delaware Canal State Park, where you can find easy access boat ramps and Kayak launches.

Within ten miles of the home, you will find many interesting towns, including New Hope, Doylestown, Lahaska, and Peddler's Village all in Pennsylvania. And in nearby New Jersey, you can experience Stockton, Lambertville, and Frenchtown.

Local Train Access via Doylestown to Philadelphia and points south, as well as in Trenton, New Jersey, provides access to trains to New York, Washington, DC, and points north and south. Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) located 32 miles from the home, has direct train access to Doylestown, where rental cars are available.

As stated in the description, there are winding wooden steps down to the kitchen & up to the bedrooms from the main level that require care. You'll know you've made the right choice upon pulling into the tree-lined driveway. Our hope is the stresses of everyday life will melt away with the serene sights and sounds of your vacation home!

The entire 10 acres are flat and perfect for all kinds of outdoor activities. The pool area is fenced with large hardscaped surfaces complete with ample outdoor furniture, outdoor dining tables, and gas grill.

Inside, you'll also have no shortage of space and things to do. The home is equipped with two full kitchens, 3.5 baths, 8 bedrooms, and a plethora of living/entertaining spaces.

The kitchen in the main part of the home is fully stocked and features a center island with seating along with a peninsula with additional seating, AND a dining table for 4. Directly off the kitchen are 4 fantastic spaces. First is a living room with TV, gas fireplace, and comfy couch/chairs. off the living room is an impressive dining room with massive table and seating for 14. Third, is a pool table room w/ TV and additional seating. Finally... and perhaps my favorite part of the home is the rear sunroom overlooking the pool and expansive green space.

The upstairs of the main part of the home houses 6 bedrooms and 2 full baths. At the top of the stairs are 3 bedrooms accompanied by a hall bath. Bedroom 1 has a king bed along with a twin over twin bunk, bedroom 2 has a queen bed along with a twin over twin bunk as well, and bedroom 3 has a full size bed. The east wing of the second floor contains three more bedrooms along with a full bath, and breakfast nook with a beverage cooler and cabinetry. Bedroom 4 has a king bed, bedroom 5 has a queen bed, and finally bedroom 6 is accessed by walking through bedroom 5 and contains a twin over full bunk.

Moving back down to the first level and into the west wing of the home or the "extended family" portion of the home you'll find a den with TV and full size sofa bed. Off the den is a small bedroom with a twin over twin bunk and the third full bath. In the rear of this part of the home is the second kitchen along with a game room outfitted with a foosball table, TV, NBA jam, and Golden Tee arcade games!

Finally, the upstairs of the west wing of the home has the final bedroom which contains a queen bed along with two twin beds. This is a loft area with beautiful views through a large picture window of the backyard.

Early check-ins, and late check-outs are extremely hard to accommodate due to cleaning and maintenance schedules. Please do not assume these can be accommodated. If you would like more time, please book accordingly. Thank you for understanding!

In all seriousness though I certainly don't want this to come off as our home being the "no fun house". Rather, I mention this simply to make the distinction between music being played at a reasonable volume vs at a 10 or someone yelling compared to people gathering and having a conversation. This would go for any time of the day but especially at night. The neighbors should not hear your music or feel like they're part of your conversation! Additionally, there are exterior security cameras in 3 locations. Side door, front door, and the upper right corner on the rear of the home.

During your stay, you can enjoy sitting by the fire. We provide chairs and firewood for the fire pit in the yard. We have short walking trails through our woods with hammocks available along the way! You can enjoy sitting on the private covered patio outside the entrance to the lower-level apartment. The apartment is the lower level of an occupied home which is extremely quiet. We are absolutely ok with guests enjoying themselves and having a great time, there is no sound limit inside of the apartment. Music can also be played at a reasonable level outside without a curfew. Guests must be 21 to rent The Kintner Getaway. Guest must show government ID with a selfie prior to check in.

There are no pets allowed in the lower level of the home. Although, special request may be made. Please message host.

There is one California king-size bed in the main bedroom area. In that area, there is also a 52" tv. There is also one queen bed in another bedroom area that can be separated by a room divider curtain. We do not have cable tv, we have internet tv. You may use our netflix and/or login to whatever service you prefer. The dining room table is a great spot to set up your laptop and work. There are different outlets right behind the table for your laptop or phone.

The bathroom is fully stocked with fresh towels, hand towels, wash cloths, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, flat iron, some hair styling products, and a magnifying mirror.

We are close to many attractions. Great Barn Brewery is right down the road. They occasionally have events on the weekends and a website where you can preorder special types of beer and then pick up. Frenchtown NJ is 20 min away. Milford NJ is 15 min away. Easton PA is just under 25 min away.

Homestead is a very special home. It was built as the vision of an entertaining space for my GrandMa as her family started to grow. My GPa, Frankie, was a visionary with amazing ideas.

The house as you approach is very unassuming. It is a traditional Cape Cod with a 2 car garage in a regular neighborhood of similar homes. As you walk up the front stairs and glance through the entry way windows you will see that there is more than meets the eye.

Open the front door and enjoy the first glimpse of the brick floors, the exposed barn rafters, the eclectic antiques. Walk in a bit further and the grand piano and fire place come into view as well at the 14 foot ceilings and large entertaining kitchen.

Now note, GPa Frankie was a guy that always 'Knew a Guy' for most things he needed. So when he needed bricks for his floors in his home, he 'knew a guy' that happened to be taking bricks out of the streets of Manhattan. So all the brick under your feet as you walk through the Great Room are hand made bricks from who knows when and lived their lives destroying car suspensions before coming to our home. GPa Frankie was originally from Vermont so he often brought down shipments of the gorgeous red blue and green flag stone to sell to local Perkasie folk. So when he need a structure for his home, he 'knew a guy' that happened to be taking down a barn in Vermont near his home town of St. Johnsbury. All the stone in the house was from my GPa's quarry. We supplied most of the building stone to this area from Warminster to Lehighton.

Homestead is TRULY an unique home built to entertain you and your family and friends.

To your left are the barn doors which once led to the pool but this is now our temporary doggie fenced area.

To your right is the 5' 4" Grand Piano tuned and ready for your skills (PLEASE no banging by new young pianists) Next to the piano is a pup friendly West Elm settee where you can cozy up in front of the fire. The fire is actually a pellet stove. Just turn on the remote and you have a nice cozy flame and heat in 5 minutes.

IF you need to work, you have a standing height desk with leather bar stool, external hdmi monitor and a great view of the back yard.

The kitchen is equipped with all your standard gadgets and some that you may not recognize. There is 25 cu. ft. of space in the refrigerator, a super quiet Bosch dishwasher, a Jenn Air convection oven and MY FAVORITE a 36 inch Jenn Air Induction cooktop. If you have not used induction before BE CAREFUL! It has the control of gas with the power of electric. I broke it because I let a pot go dry on 'Boost'. Please do not do the same. (NOTE: I am FAR from a chef! ;-) ) There is not a microwave as the stove can do it faster!

If you leave the Great Room area and head into the original house from the music room, you enter into our 'Library'. There are plenty of books and games to keep you amused for a while. The game table has chess and checker pieces on the wall above and the ladies 'cat attacked' wing chairs are comfy enough to sit and play or read for a while. PLEASE do not take the books.

As you proceed further into the the original home the Master Suite is to your left (currently closed for remodelling). Proceed to the TV viewing with our gas fireplace and mid century modern decor.

To your left are the stairs to the bedrooms and a bathroom with VERY relaxing shower.

Both bedrooms are equipped with smart perimeter lighting as well as central lighting, a ceiling fan, independently controlled heat and AC and more closet space that you could possibly want. The beds are super comfy kings!. The mattresses are different: Blue more soft and cozy (my favorite), Green more firm but memory foamy.

The bath on this level has custom made cabinetry from left over wood from the barn in the Great Room. The pebble shower floor feels soooo good on your feet as you pick pebbles that fit just right into that sore spot in your foot. The bamboo shower bench is easily moved for your comfort to sit and relax in the never ending hot water. (yes it takes a while to get there but it never stops once it does... unless you burn through all our propane. :-( )

We are sure you will enjoy your stay at Homestead. It is truly a unique and special home. MY home that I am sharing with you as I travel often for work. I grew up here with the most amazing Grandparents ever!!!

Stay like royalty at Bucks County's finest and most beautiful Queen Anne Victorian Mansion, the Lovett House. This studio apartment was once the office of Dr. Henry Lovett, a wealthy physician from Philadelphia. The house was built by his father as a wedding present. Sleeps 2 adults & 1 child comfortably with one queen size bed and one futon. A full kitchen, private entrance, private porch, beautiful architecture, and use of the grand wraparound porch make this a fantastic stay.

- "Our stay was enjoyable. The bedroom area was in a turret which was very cool. The bathroom was small, but serviceable although it could use a new handle in the shower. Lots of towels were provided. It is in a Victorian mansion so sometimes it got cold, but an extra heater was provided so we would just turn it on if the radiators didn't give enough heat. We really enjoyed our stay and was so convenient for all our events in the area. It was half the price of a nearby hotel room. A box of tissues and a bath mat would indeed make this the perfect place."

The area where the tiny house is parked is private and beautiful with fresh green sod just planted last fall. This truly is a scenic and idyllic place to unwind after a long day at work. Complete with fire pit, hammock swing and a tree wrapped in lights for a cozy glow.

She’s located on a patch of green grass behind some trees on an active horse farm. The scenery is idyllic, it was truly my little piece of heaven when I lived there. In the evenings when everything was quiet and still and the sun was setting, I’d just sit there in my hammock chair or on my steps and take in the beauty.

In the day time, there are visitors on the farm sometimes, riding horses (this is a horse boarding farm) you may see some people here and there but the area is pretty private and the people aren’t generally loud. I've been here a few years and have felt totally safe. There are cameras in the parking lot on the property where people come and go. We also have goats, chickens, donkeys, etc. The house is parked far enough away that you feel like you have you own space.

Details about the house:

It’s a lived in home, the butcher block countertop isn’t in perfect shape, the front door is a little weathered and some of the doors inside have some scuffs. But this is just me and my perfectionist mentality ;) Otherwise the home is absolutely lovely. I loved coming home after work every day. It was my place to unwind from the hectic world.

- The home is under 250 square ft including the loft. It feels very spacious, has tall ceilings and dons 12 windows for an open feel.

- My home is furnished, complete with everything you need in the kitchen to live and cook.

- The bed is upstairs in the loft and access to the loft is via a metal rung ladder. Not easily accessible for small children or the elderly.

- I have a powerful mini split unit that can quickly heat and cool the home.

- The bathroom has a spacious shower, large sink and a compost toilet. There are 2 bathrooms in the main barn that have flush toilets that you are free to use for #2 if you don't like the ideal of composting. #1 is totally doable in the compost toilet as it goes straight outside. The bathroom also has heated floors.

- The property has a large dumpster that gets picked up on Fridays, you are free to put your trash in there.

- The lawn is mowed by the landowners

- I have filtered water (carbon) that comes from the smaller tap next to the kitchen sink

The back part of this estate straddles part of the hill that is one of the best defensive positions General George Washington, a great land surveyor, ever put his troops.

They only stayed on the hill temporarily so there is nothing there (we welcome anyone with a high-powered metal detector). However, when you walk the nature trails and look out the long view over the land and river valley, and imagine the millennial types who once guarded and camped there, preparing with uncommon valor to attack, what were at that time, the best equipped and trained military Commandos in the world, late, in plain sight, under equipped, under Financed, and in broad daylight, freezing, with absolutely indomitable relentless patriotic determination, it is greatly inspirational.

Successfully, notwithstanding the new crop of tyrants they would observe around the preserved Hessian barracks, a recommended historic sightseeing stop in Trenton, if their descendants come to stay here today, lol.

That combined with being in the full Embrace of Mother Nature with endless beautiful scenes all over this land make it a Priceless destination in itself.

There is a wonderful park across the street for a morning run or an evening stroll, and we are just a short distance from Peace Valley Park and Lake Galena which has boat access and kayak rentals, picnic pavilions, and a 6 mile walking/biking trail around it’s perimeter. Lake Nockamixon State Park is 20 minutes away and Tinicum Polo field is less than a half hour away on the Delaware River. If you would like to hop on a train to Philadelphia (less than an hour) or Doylestown, we are a half mile from the station where you can catch the Septa R5 Doylestown line. Doylestown is 10 minutes away with excellent restaurants, entertainment and shopping. We are only 3.5 miles from Del Val University, 20 minutes from Peddlers Village and 30 minutes from New Hope. The Montgomeryville mall is 10 minutes away and IKEA is only 25 minutes! If you are here on business, we are less than a half hour to Merck in West Point or J&J in Springhouse.

There is also available, a white noise machine in your room. well. Our guest bed linens and towels are all white, this is so we can wash them in hot water and bleach.

We have a no shoe policy inside our home and kindly ask that you remove your shoes when you enter. There will be coffee, tea, bottled water, snacks and treats available to you in your room at all times. You get 60 plus local channels on TV, plus Amazon prime. There is plenty of free parking right outside in front of our home. We ask that you do not park in our driveway, we come and go often and don't want to disturb you, don't worry, your car is very safe parked there.

Please know that we respectfully do not allow pets, we have a cat, his name is Bonito and he is afraid and does not do well with other animals, but he is friendly toward people and has full range of the house with the exception of the guest rooms. Kindly do not put us in this predicament.

We are right at the edge of town on the main street in Richboro so in walking distance of restaurants and grocery stores. Owners live in the farmhouse and are generally available to answer questions and provide recommendations for the local area.

Very clean, quiet space in the heart of historic Bucks County. Living room has a 50 inch smart TV, with Netflix, Sling TV, Amazon Prime Video and music. Any guest that orders any paid programing instead of using what is available for free, must pay host prior to check out. USB ports available in every room. There is plenty of off-street parking in our private parking lot and driveway.

Guest access
The private two bedroom apartment and all outside amenities are yours to enjoy. Please ask for assistance if you need anything during your stay that is not provided and we will do our best to accommodate.

Other things to note
No smoking or vaping indoors. No pets. Generally the property is quiet with only two adults living in the three bedroom farmhouse.

Enjoy, walks, kayaking, wineries or horse riding close by. Visit the quaint river towns of NewHope,Frenchtown, Lambertville etc. 15 minutes to Beautiful Lake Galena and Lake Nockamixon, 30 minutes to the Lehigh Valley, 60 to Philadelphia, 90 to New York. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), groups, and furry friends (pets). "The Garden Studio Apartment" and "The Little House" can be combined to accommodate more friends or family. Country fun!

This is a unique multifamily home. Your private space is on the second floor above a quiet couple of early risers and a seasoned senior citizen.. The only area that is shared is outside.

As they are early risers, we ask that quiet hours be at 10pm. Not an ideal stay for night owls.

The front door will take you to 8 steps leading to the second floor of a bi-level home. This spacious area has no walls separating the kitchen., dining and living area.

A narrow hallway includes a coat closet, full bathroom and guest bedroom.

The outside backyard is a shared space, however it is nearly always empty.

Professional snow removal for more then 3 inches. Shovel and salt will be available for walkway entry.

Guest have access to everything on the second floor except the owners bedroom (which will likely be vacant) and an owners closet (accessed by the cleaning service between guests). The only shared space is outside.
