A meticulously restored 18th-century Stone House. Located and voted on as one of Solebury Township's most picturesque roads. The Home is located on 8 pristine wooded acres and has been updated to current living styles with up-to-date bathrooms, a working fireplace, and a full kitchen with all appliances, including a dishwasher and ice maker. The home also includes two bedrooms with queen beds, closets, and dressers. The upstairs bath includes a walk-in shower and a full soaking tub. The downstairs bathroom has a walk-in shower. Each bathroom includes a water closet.

The house consists of three levels, the lower level contains the kitchen with a dining island, bathroom with a shower, and a sitting/ TV room. The middle level consists of an open-plan sitting room with a walk-in fireplace and formal dining area, the Upper level consists of two bedrooms with Queen Beds, a full bath with tub, and a Shower with a foyer area. Each level is accessed by 18th-century Butterfly (pie-shaped) stairs.

The upper level has hand-plastered walls and ceilings with pumpkin pine floors, the Middle level has exposed stone walls with wide board pine floors, and the Lower level has exposed stone walls with carpeting and stone floors. Each floor has radiant heat and is individually controlled.

The house is attached to the owner's home but is fully autonomous with a separate and private entrance and private off-street parking.

You will be within walking distance to the quaint village of Lumberville and the Delaware Canal walking path and pedestrian bridge that crosses the Delaware River connecting New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Here you can dine at the Historic Black Bass Restaurant or casual dining at the Lumberville General Store with inside and outside dining options. The towpath along the Delaware River is fantastic for bike riding or a leisurely walk along the 58-mile path and scenic overlook of the River. Cross over to New Jersey via the pedestrian walking bridge and enjoy the New Jersey towpath that wanders along the Delaware River to the historic town of Lambertville. I

Bring your Kayaks or Paddle Boards and enjoy boating on the Delaware River and the Delaware Canal State Park, where you can find easy access boat ramps and Kayak launches.

Within ten miles of the home, you will find many interesting towns, including New Hope, Doylestown, Lahaska, and Peddler's Village all in Pennsylvania. And in nearby New Jersey, you can experience Stockton, Lambertville, and Frenchtown.

Local Train Access via Doylestown to Philadelphia and points south, as well as in Trenton, New Jersey, provides access to trains to New York, Washington, DC, and points north and south. Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) located 32 miles from the home, has direct train access to Doylestown, where rental cars are available.

As stated in the description, there are winding wooden steps down to the kitchen & up to the bedrooms from the main level that require care. You'll know you've made the right choice upon pulling into the tree-lined driveway. Our hope is the stresses of everyday life will melt away with the serene sights and sounds of your vacation home!

The entire 10 acres are flat and perfect for all kinds of outdoor activities. The pool area is fenced with large hardscaped surfaces complete with ample outdoor furniture, outdoor dining tables, and gas grill.

Inside, you'll also have no shortage of space and things to do. The home is equipped with two full kitchens, 3.5 baths, 8 bedrooms, and a plethora of living/entertaining spaces.

The kitchen in the main part of the home is fully stocked and features a center island with seating along with a peninsula with additional seating, AND a dining table for 4. Directly off the kitchen are 4 fantastic spaces. First is a living room with TV, gas fireplace, and comfy couch/chairs. off the living room is an impressive dining room with massive table and seating for 14. Third, is a pool table room w/ TV and additional seating. Finally... and perhaps my favorite part of the home is the rear sunroom overlooking the pool and expansive green space.

The upstairs of the main part of the home houses 6 bedrooms and 2 full baths. At the top of the stairs are 3 bedrooms accompanied by a hall bath. Bedroom 1 has a king bed along with a twin over twin bunk, bedroom 2 has a queen bed along with a twin over twin bunk as well, and bedroom 3 has a full size bed. The east wing of the second floor contains three more bedrooms along with a full bath, and breakfast nook with a beverage cooler and cabinetry. Bedroom 4 has a king bed, bedroom 5 has a queen bed, and finally bedroom 6 is accessed by walking through bedroom 5 and contains a twin over full bunk.

Moving back down to the first level and into the west wing of the home or the "extended family" portion of the home you'll find a den with TV and full size sofa bed. Off the den is a small bedroom with a twin over twin bunk and the third full bath. In the rear of this part of the home is the second kitchen along with a game room outfitted with a foosball table, TV, NBA jam, and Golden Tee arcade games!

Finally, the upstairs of the west wing of the home has the final bedroom which contains a queen bed along with two twin beds. This is a loft area with beautiful views through a large picture window of the backyard.

Early check-ins, and late check-outs are extremely hard to accommodate due to cleaning and maintenance schedules. Please do not assume these can be accommodated. If you would like more time, please book accordingly. Thank you for understanding!

In all seriousness though I certainly don't want this to come off as our home being the "no fun house". Rather, I mention this simply to make the distinction between music being played at a reasonable volume vs at a 10 or someone yelling compared to people gathering and having a conversation. This would go for any time of the day but especially at night. The neighbors should not hear your music or feel like they're part of your conversation! Additionally, there are exterior security cameras in 3 locations. Side door, front door, and the upper right corner on the rear of the home.

During your stay, you can enjoy sitting by the fire. We provide chairs and firewood for the fire pit in the yard. We have short walking trails through our woods with hammocks available along the way! You can enjoy sitting on the private covered patio outside the entrance to the lower-level apartment. The apartment is the lower level of an occupied home which is extremely quiet. We are absolutely ok with guests enjoying themselves and having a great time, there is no sound limit inside of the apartment. Music can also be played at a reasonable level outside without a curfew. Guests must be 21 to rent The Kintner Getaway. Guest must show government ID with a selfie prior to check in.

There are no pets allowed in the lower level of the home. Although, special request may be made. Please message host.

There is one California king-size bed in the main bedroom area. In that area, there is also a 52" tv. There is also one queen bed in another bedroom area that can be separated by a room divider curtain. We do not have cable tv, we have internet tv. You may use our netflix and/or login to whatever service you prefer. We always like to leave little surprises.

The kitchen has a full set of pots and pans, dishes, cups, silverware, and cooking utensils. We also provide a variety of spices above the stove for your use. For every stay, each guest gets the use of a brand new sponge, bath & body works hand soap, full dish soap, 1 new roll of paper towels, and 2 clean dish towels. The dining room table is a great spot to set up your laptop and work. There are different outlets right behind the table for your laptop or phone.

The bathroom is fully stocked with fresh towels, hand towels, wash cloths, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, flat iron, some hair styling products, and a magnifying mirror.

We are close to many attractions. Great Barn Brewery is right down the road. They occasionally have events on the weekends and a website where you can preorder special types of beer and then pick up. NYC is about 1.5 hours away. Philadelphia is about 1.25 hours away or less. There are many hiking options available all within 10 min - 2 hours away. Delaware River is just 15 min away. Frenchtown NJ is 20 min away. Milford NJ is 15 min away. Easton PA is just under 25 min away.

The surrounding landscape features lawns, gardens, two terraces (one with tables and chairs to accommodate 10 for dining, the other with seating around a firepit), and a small pond/garden with seating around another firepit. The 18th century stone bank barn, smokehouse, springhouse, garage, and other outbuildings add history and charm to the setting. Enjoy the peaceful view from the flagstone terrace adjoining the house, across the lawn overlooking Cooks Creek, a designated Class A exceptional value stream with native and brown trout. Relax by the firepit on the garden terrace, taking in the long view across gardens and pastures.

Highlights of the delightfully updated home include its original random-width pine floors, deep-silled windows, and working stone fireplace in the living room. Two other fireplaces in the house add decorative charm (but are non-working). Tasteful antique and contemporary furnishings throughout the house create a welcoming and comfortable ambience. Living room and dining room open to the terrace that spans one side of the house overlooking the creek. The bar/library adjoining the living room provides a small refrigerator, sink, and glassware for easy entertaining, as well as shelves of books for your ‘spirited’ enjoyment.

The large, eat-in kitchen offers all the necessities for gourmet cooking, a center island, plenty of workspace, and cabinets of china and glassware for every occasion. A cozy TV/sitting room adjoins the kitchen, providing satellite service with a 42" HD screen, high speed Internet/Wifi, Blu-ray player, Sony receiver with AM/FM radio, and double speakers (with the second pair in the living room). A powder room completes the first floor.

Upstairs, the master suite is a light and airy private space including bedroom with queen bed, decorative fireplace, and sitting area overlooking lawns, garden, pastures and Cooks Creek. Adjoining the bedroom are walk-through closets, bathroom, and a private stairway to the first floor. The master bath has a separate toilet area, glass-walled tile shower, tub, and dual vanity sinks.

A second charming bedroom offers a double bed, closet, and views of lawns, garden, pastures and the creek. A third small room is a charming study with a desk and sofa. A full bath with tub/shower is easily accessible to the bedrooms. The main hallway and stairs complete the second floor.

The property is easily accessible...a 90 minute drive from New York City and 60 minutes from Philadelphia. The property is located on Route 212, two miles west of the Delaware River at Riegelsville, PA, where the beautiful ‘River Road’ (Route 32) branches off Route 611 and follows the river south through quaint Bucks County villages on the way to New Hope (a 45 minute drive).
