-THE 2ND FLOOR includes 2 bedrooms with a hallway bath. A queen-sized bed in the primary bedroom with a full closet, and a full-sized bed in the second bedroom which has a walk-in closet with a make-up vanity area.

This Cape Cod style house has been owned by our family since it was built in 1938. While small compared to houses being built in Chester County now, it is quite comfortable in the winter, and in warmer weather the screen porch is the perfect place to relax.

The two bedrooms are on the second floor: the larger one has a queen-sized bed and the smaller one has a full or double bed.

There is a full bathroom with a tile shower on the second floor, and a small combined laundry room/half bath on the ground floor. The kitchen while compact is well suited to cooking with a gas range and is completely stocked with cookware and dishes.

The house is situated on a two acre property and is quite private. The driveway has room for two cars. There is a second house on the property with its own driveway, and several other houses clustered near by, with a historic Quaker meeting house across the road.

Think old farmhouse or cabin in the woods. The one exception is the upstairs bathroom which is modern. Perfect place to relax, everything you need is there. Especially appreciated having the basics provided (garbage bags, salt, cooking oil, good kitchen knives, coffee filters, etc.) as this has not been the case in the last 3 rentals we had. If you want a modern floorplan with high end amenities this is not for you, otherwise, highly recommend."

The only thing we might complain about was the construction noise on the street right outside, but we realize the host has no control over that and it is temporary.
