Our 3-bedroom twin home, built in 1900 features many original architectural details from the period. Enjoy our oak floors, front porch w/swinging bench & back deck w/grill overlooking the rear garden. Each of our 3 bedrooms has a comfortable queen size bed: rear bedroom, larger front bedroom and the renovated 3rd flr space (quietest room). The single futon in front room can be easily positioned anywhere on 2nd floor. Window units provide a/c (modern, quiet, remote-controlled) - remote-controlled ceiling fan in kitchen and front bedroom. Kitchen is fully equipped - chefs will be hard-pressed to find anything missing! Full-size refrigerator w/bottom freezer. Flat-screen Smart TV w/Apple TV (Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, etc) in living-room and complimentary WI-FI throughout the house. Wireless printer available for guest use on 2nd flr. New user-friendly thermostat for heating control (located in D/R). French doors off kitchen open onto rear deck with outdoor seating, table and shade umbrella - lovely space for breakfast in summer. Close to several colleges and universities: Villanova, Haverford, Bryn Mawr, Rosemont, Swarthmore, Immaculata, Gwynedd-Mercy, Arcadia, Penn, Drexel, Phila Univ.

Our house could probably accommodate more but 5 adults will comfortably enjoy the space and furnishings.

This is a charming 3 bedroom/2 bathroom carriage guest house located on a 4 acre estate nestled in the woods of Bryn Mawr, PA. Meadowbrook has 6 bedrooms and can sleep up to 14. The home has 5 second floor bedrooms, each with its own en suite bath, including two bathrooms in the Master Suite. The third floor has one bedroom with a queen size sofa bed in the sitting room/office that shares a bath. The first floor is ideal for small family gatherings, rehearsal dinner parties, and corporate meetings while on retreat. - "You get what you expect based off the photos and the price. The not so good: There were some issues that came up and actually present at the home upon arrival. Basement had water seeping in carpet which gave a bad smell rendering the space unusable. AC went out in several units which required our parties to group and sleep in the 3 rooms that only had working AC. We endured 2 nights like this. I feel like some effort of concession should have been made to show us that our inconvenience mattered. To top it off on night 6/7 we saw a mouse run through the kitchen and take cover under the sofa. After that most people in my group were terrified to stay another night and we end up leaving a day early. I did let Christine know about this, and I’m sure it happens in such a large and older house. Again no mention of any concession for our troubles and cutting our vacation a day short because of this. What bothered me is Christine once said if the alarm accidentally gets triggered and we (the owners) have to answer the call that we would be charged for it. We are dropping a cool 25k to stay at the home, you shouldn’t speak like this. The good: we had a great time as a family. The house is curated wonderfully. Probably the owner is an architect or interior designer who is well travelled. Location is very nice and safe, you can tell old money lives there lol. House very clean. Pool and grounds are very nice and well kept. 2 hr from Hershey and NYC. Owners seem like good people."

Enjoy a relaxing time at a classic 3 story, 137 year old home on 2 acres in beautiful Gladwyne, PA. This house has something for everyone, from themed bedrooms, 2 offices, swimming pool, basketball, poker table, bbq pits, badminton, gourmet kitchen, and during the week a maid comes in the morning to take care of light housekeeping.
The main floor has a sunroom, huge formal living room, large formal dining room, formal study with hidden door that leads into the gourmet kitchen and TV room. The second floor has a master bedroom with a separate TV room and Private outdoor balcony patio. There are three other bedrooms with two bathrooms on the second floor. The third floor has four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a second office and a sitting area in the foyer.
Outside there is a small basketball and Badminton area, frog pond, swimming pool, fire pit, 2bbq pits, and the expansive back patio has plenty of seating for everyone.
