- "This stay was okay but not as expected as compared to other Airbnb accommodations. It was chosen due to the number of bedrooms for a family gathering. There was ample space, however with so many things amiss this stay was challenging. We will not be back. First off, when we arrived it was a hot day and management did not set ac at a minimum so it was too hot in the house and took hours to make it comfortable. There was also a broken door jam so a bedroom door would not close. How could this be missed upon a cleaning?Secondly, when someone needs 7 bedrooms that means they also need ample seating. There were two scruffy loveseats, and a club chair. We made do with outdoor camp chairs. With a house that big you NEED a large sofa or sectional. This oversight was the worst aspect of our stay. Furthermore, the kitchen needs to have hot pads, toaster, kettle, more glasses, more silverware, and dish towels. Things that seem obvious were missed. The kitchen has bare minimum supplies for about 6 people.Lastly, there were no washclothes, no towel hooks in one bathroom, and a bathroom with no mirror! It is like the owner never stayed in their own design to see it if was workable or not."

Just what my son and I needed while he raced in a high school national championship race in Philadelphia." - "We never even got into this property. When I booked I clicked the map link to see what the neighborhood and property looked like. It looked safe and nice. While driving there I put the address in my gps. The street view was not the same property. The address also came up as Lansdowne and NOT Upper Darby as the listing claims. The neighborhood didn’t look very safe but we still wanted to give it a chance. We requested check in information a couple of days prior to arrival and were told we would get it on check in day. We left our home at 6:30 am as we had a 9 hour drive and still had no check in information. Still nothing at 11:00am. When we were 3 hours away the owner finally sent directions. I repeatedly questioned the address and location but he just blew me off. He just said he didn’t know what happened. We get there and the key pad is not working plus I also texted him to ask about parking. No response. We called and left a message. We waited in a shady neighborhood for 45 minutes with no response. We assumed we were scammed and found alternative lodging. Apparently the property owner did come to the property but we had already left as he did not let us know he was on his way. Worst experience I have had with vrbo. They also refuse to refund my money."

It was extremely comfortable and convenient. I loved that we had parking off street. I really love that they have a washer in the small kitchen which was perfect for a short stay. The sink in master bathroom was blocked and could not be used and that was an issue as it one of only 2 bathroom sinks for 5 or more bedroom house. Property will do well with a visitor’s half bathroom on main level. Some curtains had duct tape holding it in place. Heating and Air Con worked well although it does not get to third floor. Overall it was ok. It was not great."
