- "We came for a lacrosse tournament in Aston, PA, and we were less than 0 minutes from there, which was very nice, especially for an 8am game! The house has been beautifully and modernly updated, with all the conveniences we needed. It appears the owner is still working on the outside patio, landscaping, etc. but am smite it will be more than adequate when done. The interior of the house was all brand new (furniture, lights, flooring, etc. ). The towels were very soft. The beds were all comfortable and inviting. Also, both bedrooms were a nice size and upstairs, where hot air rises. There was a semi-portable ac in one of them, which kept it pretty cool, though if we had had a really hot night, the second bedroom might have gotten a little too warm. Would definitely stay here again, if back in the area."

Nice corner lot located in Swarthmore. 1 mile from Swarthmore College and train station, one block from bus station that goes to the college. 1 mile from Widener University. Perfect for visitation or off campus student living. Plenty of parking space, nice neighborhood, approx 10 minute drive to PHL Airport, 20 minutes to downtown Philadelphia. Many local favorite eats and hangouts as well! Great place to experience Philly but beating the price!

The host never gave us check in instructions, so I reached out to the listed phone number the morning we were supposed to check in. The host answered and as soon as I said I was asking about the VRBO, i was hung up on AND my number was blocked. I confirmed this by calling from a different phone later. So we were hours away from check in and now had nowhere to stay. The host then held the listing all weekend(likely to get me to pay cancellation fees) and then waited until the day i was supposed to check out to cancel. This host is not to be trusted, book at your own risk."

Small 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom house. Living room and bedrooms have TVs. Wireless internet provided. 5 minutes from Harrah's Casino and Philadelphia Soccer Stadium. 20 minutes from downtown Philadelphia. 10 minutes from Delaware.

- "We did not have a good experience at this property. To start, I had to reach out to the host to get any check in information. I will say once we did get the information the process was easy enough but there were few details included. The property itself was one of the most rundown placesI have ever stayed. The inside of the property was (mostly) fine but the outside looked like a trash heap. The outside was dirty, had flaking paint and had random debris all around. The side of the house had a large discarded wood pile and the neighbors fence was falling into the side yard of the property. The inside was clean but there were steep stairs that were flaking off large splinters of wood. The tread of my tennis show got caught and I almost tripped my first time walking down them. There was a horrible smell in the property. It was a strong odor of weed and something dead. There was also NO AC. This was not in the listing at all. The neighborhood was terrible. We were there 10 minutes and literally saw someone exchange drugs in the side yard of the property. We messaged the host about the smell and no solution was offered. Just that the smell was not there last time they were there. We did not finish our stay here. We stayed 10 minutes and immediately booked a hotel. We let the host know ( again no apology or resolution) We booked a new hotel. If you are visitng Philly area PLEASE book a hotel or find other accommodations. The affordable price is not worth it!"
